Nobody Can Love You Like Them Roughnecks Do 3

Blaise looked down into my eyes with a dumbfounded expression. I didn’t know if she was happy or what, but even if she said no, I was taking the shit as a yes.

“Well, Blaise?” the reporter inquired, putting the microphone closer to her face. She was still frozen though, looking down at me.

Next thing I knew, tears were trickling down her pretty ass face in abundance as she nodded her head to say ‘yes’.

“Yes?” I asked to make sure, cheesing.

“Yes.” She chuckled through tears as I pushed the ring down onto her finger, and the crowd cheered.

As soon as I stood up, we were close as fuck, kissing, as she reached up to hold the sides of my face.

“You better not have just said yes because we on TV and you ain’t wanna embarrass me,” I whispered against her lips before pecking her again.

“No.” She giggled, shaking her head before we resumed our lip lock. “I love you.”

After kissing a little more, I did my interviews while she held my hand. I peeped her eyeing the ring occasionally, making me feel good about the one I’d chosen. I had no females in my life to assist me, so I just researched a whole fucking lot to see what bitches liked, then passed that information to my jeweler.

After the interviews, we both went to the back where my dressing room was so the fight doctors could make sure I was straight. It was routine for us to be checked out after every fight.

Once they left, Blaise and I were finally alone.

“What?” I felt her staring me down as I wiped some of the lingering sweat off of me.

“You really want to marry me?”

“Didn’t I ask?” I walked up on her in the high chair she was in, wedging myself between her legs as I kissed on her neck.

“Yes, but I just didn’t take you for that type.”

Looking into her eyes for a couple seconds, I responded, “I’m not, honestly. But for you, I guess I am, because I wanna marry yo’ ass.” I hugged her body tightly. “Thinking about being with yo’ sexy ass 24/7 and for the rest of my days, however long that is, sounds good as fuck to a nigga. I’d rather spend the majority of my years being yo’ husband than ya boyfriend.” I pressed my nose against hers and smirked when I saw a bright smile spread across her face. “You wanna get married, right?”

“Of course. I would do it tonight.”

“Cool.” I kissed her before backing away to ruffle through my gym bag. “Until then, you can start yo’ wifely duties by sucking my dick tonight after the party.”

  Blaise

“Well as big as this ring is, baby, I’m gonna suck your dick so good I’ll need to wear a bib during.” I exploded with laughter when I saw Belly’s face.

“Aye, you nasty as fuck. Let’s skip whatever is next.” He was dead serious with his horny ass. He was already back up on me, teeth sunken down into his plump lip, and his hands assaulting my body.

  “No, baby, come on.”

He said nothing, so I had to spend the next five minutes convincing his freaky ass to come out with me, and I would suck his dick later. I had to promise I wouldn’t be sleepy afterwards.

“Aight.” He started toward the bathroom they had in here. “Why you even say that shit right now? Look.” He wore an irritated expression as he pointed down to his crotch. His dick was hard as hell, making me cover my mouth because I was shocked, and it was watering a tiny bit. “I’m sorry, baby.”

I could only chuckle because he was really angry, slamming the door and cursing under his breath behind it.

As I waited, I got some texts from Priscilla and Alivia saying they were leaving and going to see me in a little bit. I saw I was being tagged on Instagram like crazy, and I almost ignored it, but since I was waiting, I checked anyway. Plus, I was afraid that people saw my baby bump while I was up in that ring. People were blocking my bottom half, but still, blogs always found a way.

Thankfully, it was about the fact that a gossip page had posted a video from Cadence’s story, of her congratulating Belly for winning. She called him her baby, saying she couldn’t wait to celebrate with him, as if she was still dealing with my man. I wanted to be mad, but she was so out of touch with reality and desperate, that it was hard to even conjure up the correct emotion.

About half an hour later, Belly emerged from the bathroom, and since his clothes for tonight were hanging up, he got dressed.

“Aight.” He locked his watch around his wrist. He looked so fucking fine dressed in a button up and slacks, that I contemplated changing my mind and going straight home.

“Baby, you look so sexy like this.” I neared him, placing my hands against his abs before leaning my head back for a kiss.

“Oh, you ain’t fucking with the hood nigga attire?”

“I am. I love that you can do both.”

“Where the fuck we going? Why you got me in this stuffy ass shit?”

  “Stop asking and come on.”

We left out the back, and I had to keep from pouncing on him because he smelled and looked so good. That’s why I was pregnant now.

I gave his driver the address and then sat back to relax for the ride.

“How much was this, baby? If you don’t mind me asking.” I eyed my big sparkly ring.

  “It was $388,404.”

Chuckling, I responded, “You remember the exact dollar amount?”

“Hell yeah. That shit cost a grip.”

“You didn’t have to. I love this one so much, but I wouldn’t mind something cheaper.”

“It’s nothing. And it’s the only engagement ring I’ll ever have to buy.” He looked into my eyes. His words prompted me to kiss his lips.

  “You’re never getting married again?”

“Nah, just once and to yo’ ass.” He gripped my inner thigh with his big hand.

“What if we divorce and you meet a woman you really like?”

“We won’t get a divorce, ’cause if you tried to get a new husband, I’d have to kill him, so it’s no point. We gon’ be married and stay married, even when we’re old as shit and don’t talk but just fuck. If we did divorce though, you’d be that baby mama I couldn’t stop fucking.”

“Nigga.” I rolled my eyes smiling, since he was giving me that cute smirk.

The ride was nice. We were our usual selves, chatting, joking, and fondling one another here and there.

It finally hit me that I was never in love with Five-Star; love was what I felt for Belly. I just think I was so attached to Five, because he was showing me things I’d never experienced, and then came my pregnancy. Did I like him a lot? Definitely, but the way I felt for him was nowhere near what it was between Belly and me. I was closer to him, and as oddly as it may sound, given his history, I trusted him as my friend and my man.

We arrived to our destination, so the driver pulled up to the curb where valet was. Belly let him know he didn’t need to get out, and then exited the car before helping me do the same.

  “Cortez Khalil!”

I was immediately annoyed, seeing people take pictures and recordings of us before congratulating Belly and yelling his name. Nicely, he nodded and waved to thank them, as I pulled him with me.

I wanted something nice and private tonight with just the people closest to him. We entered through the back way of Beauty & Essex, this swanky restaurant in Hollywood. I was able to get them to have it closed down for us to have dinner with his people, so it was fairly empty.

“Congrats!” everybody in the dining area yelled once Belly and I appeared. There were five balloons spelling out champ, and then other gold and silver ones floating around. There was even a cake off to the side, which we would eat later.

Belly paused before looking down into my smiling face. I was confused for a second because I didn’t know if he liked my surprise or not.

“You planned this shit when?” he inquired lowly to me as everyone clamored about, taking back their seats at the table.

“Only two weeks ago. Thankfully when I told them who
we were, they agreed to close down the place.” I waited for a moment, then continued. “You don’t like surprises?”

“Nah, I—you knew I was gon’ win, huh?”

“I did.” I nodded. “But even if for some weird reason you didn’t, I wanted to still celebrate you. You got shot three times and still stepped into the ring with no favors or sympathy, so whether you won that belt or not, you’re still the champ.”

Gripping my jaw lightly, he leaned down to kiss me very slowly, before parting my lips and slipping his tongue into my mouth. We started kissing passionately, and I forgot where I was until our friends began commenting, so we started toward them.

“Let me see this rock up close.” Priscilla beamed as soon as Belly and I got near the table, and he pulled my chair out.

We sat down, and the waiter immediately came to tend to us. We ordered appetizers and drinks, mostly her recommendations, and while we munched on that, waiting for our entrees, the conversation flowed.

I noticed Manny was far from Alivia, and Will was far from Priscilla, but it wasn’t too obvious since Belly’s ContraBandz Gang and Rocko were here. I noticed tension between Siggy and Manny as well, but these niggas had better behave.

While checking the time on my phone, I accidentally swiped to the right, showing the news articles widget. At the top was one with the headline Now Former Lineal Champion, Mason Strauss, Collapses On Front Porch. I tapped it, remembering how dazed he looked before falling to the floor in the ring. They woke him up, but it clearly didn’t last long.

The article, just updated ten minutes ago, stated in the first paragraph that he was now being prepped for surgery due to bleeding on the brain.

Tapping Belly, I showed him my phone, watching as he read. His expression confused me because I assumed this would make him happy, but he looked slightly bothered.

“He’ll be good.” Belly shrugged, handing me back my phone. I just locked it and put it away.

“Aight, homie.” Cole clapped his hands. He was the most annoying of the CBG guys but also the funniest.

“Fuck you do?” Belly smirked, sipping his drink as Cole rose from his seat.

He put his two fingers into his mouth to whistle, and moments later, two of the employees started pushing in some huge fake cake. Before anybody could form a full sentence, some hoe hopped up out of the top of the cake in a thong and nipple covers.

I don’t ever make a move, that ain’t cool for the brand… YSL, shoes got me fly as Peter Pan…

“No Budget” by Kid Ink started playing as she began shaking her ass. I was annoyed, but I decided to let the boys enjoy it while we waited on our food. The girl climbed out of the cake and started over, so I perked up, seeing which nigga she was about to dance on, because it wasn’t mine.

“No, somebody else,” I told her when I saw her hungry eyes locked on Belly, before she reached to touch his hand.

“Girl, chill.” She giggled. “Ah!” She jumped back, screeching when I grabbed my glass of water and tossed it right into her face.

“Bitch, I said pick somebody else.”

“Take her out.” Belly chuckled, holding me close to him because he knew I wanted to get up.

Cole walked her to the archway where the employees were, so one escorted her whiny ass out while the other came to collect the cake.

“I should beat your ass for that shit,” I told Cole as everyone laughed. “You want bitches to dance for you, that’s fine, but this one is taken. If it’s not at a strip club, it can’t happen. Don’t bring hoes to my nigga.”

“You know my girl is crazy. Why you pull that shit?” Belly inquired, grinning as everyone still doubled over in laughter.

“You almost drowned her ass, Blaise.” Manny chuckled.

“Why are you smiling? You liked that bitch or something?” I elbowed Belly in his ribcage.

Turning to me, he got close to my face and whispered against my lips, “Nah, I like you. You can act a fool all you want tonight, but when we get back to the crib…” he kissed me ever so sensually, making my clit tingle, “…you sucking this dick.”

That calmed me all the way down in a way only Belly could, so we were able to enjoy the rest of the dinner. And as soon as we walked in the door of our bedroom at home, Belly stripped me down, put me on my knees, and made me fulfill my promise. I was more than happy to.

  Two nights later…

Belly and I entered his VIP section at the club, since tonight was the huge celebration for his win. Not only that, the club was paying him a lot of cash to come out and party.

I rolled my eyes, seeing all the hoes in the building, hoping to sit on Belly’s dick. What they didn’t realize though was that it was occupied at all times, and when it wasn’t, they would be cruising for a death wish.

“Up One” by Yella Beezy was blasting, making me smile because I knew Belly loved this song. His friends and my friends were already there, so I made sure Belly and I sat where I could be on the side with my friends.

“The hoes are already up in here.” Alivia shook her head, staring at one talking with Manny by the balcony. She was wearing next to nothing, right along with the thirty other girls up here.

“You see their faces when you came in holding Belly’s hand?” Priscilla laughed, and I nodded, rolling my eyes.

I wasn’t new to this, so I knew these hoes were very disappointed to see Belly had brought his woman tonight. I’d thrown a wrench in their plans to be all up on him and trying to fuck, but the thought made me grin to myself.

Priscilla and Alivia got up to go to the bathroom, so I turned to my right to tug on Belly’s shirt. When he looked to me, we kissed for a few, smiling in between.

I felt someone sit next to me, so assuming it was Priscilla, I looked. However, it was some bitch I’d never seen before, with faux locks going down her back. She had a deep chocolate complexion and perfect features.

“Hi, Blaise.” She smiled, all giddy like a fan.

“Hi. Do I know you?” I frowned, kind of eavesdropping on Belly’s conversation with his friends and some of the hoes nearby.

“Not really, but I was wondering if I could talk to you privately. Umm,” she looked around, “maybe just right there.”

Intrigued, I told Belly I was going to the balcony and then walked toward it with this girl behind me.

  “What’s your name?” I inquired.

“Sybil. You don’t know me?” She cocked her head.

“No, why would I know you? What did you need to talk to me about? I’m here to celebrate my man, not make new friends, especially ones acting strangely.”

“Right, sorry. I umm, I just figured you’d heard of me because of Five-Star. I thought maybe he mentioned me.” She looked at me, so I looked back at her ass. “I just wanted to talk with you because I wanted to be sure that there is nothing going on between you two.”

“Nope, not doing this.” I started to walk away.

“Please, Blaise, I’m just asking.” The sadness in her voice made me pause, because I remembered being that wrapped up in Five-Star’s wack ass.

Turning back to her, I replied, “There will never be anything going on between Jelani and me. I’m engaged, if you didn’t know.”

“I do know. I saw the proposal all over the internet.” She simpered. “What I meant was, is he trying to be with you? I know you don’t want him. I mean, it’s obvious from what I see with you and Belly. But he and I are together now, and I’m just worried that he loves you still.

He talks about you a lot, he’s always calling, and when I ask him if he still loves you, he gets mad. Then some days he doesn’t call or talk to me at all, and—”

“Sybil, word of advice, move on before you get pregnant and have to deal with him for the rest of your life. He cares about no one but himself. And trust me, he’s calling, texting, and fucking his other baby mamas right along with you.”

“I know you think that, but he’s not that bad. He’s a good man, he just needs time.”

>   “How long have you been with him?”

  “About five months now.”

“And what has he gotten you?”

“Umm, a bracelet, and we go to a lot of fancy dinners.”

I looked down at her with my brow raised. She wasn’t even anything special to Five-Star. I knew him. When he wanted you, he bought you damn near everything they sold on Rodeo and more diamonds than you knew existed. He was simply fucking this girl, and most likely already had someone else that he was taking seriously.

Shaking my head, I said, “Sybil, he’s not planning on keeping you around. It’s only been five months, and you’re already shaking in your boots about his fidelity. Usually that doesn’t happen until seven or eight months in, so you should still be walking on sunshine with him.”

  “Are you sure—”

“Take my advice or leave it, but do not ask me anything else about my daughter’s father. I have no interest in his personal life unless it somehow connects to or affects my baby. Now I’m giving you a heads up before he has you crying in the dark somewhere about to blow your brains out. You can listen to it or not. Have a good night.”

I didn’t even turn around when she stuttered, attempting to reply to me.

Making my way back over to where my man and friends were, I sat back down to enjoy my time as Sybil slithered out of the section with her goofy ass.

  Nichole

  One week later…

I rolled over in my huge bed, grabbing my iPhone and turning on my back to let it scan my face. As soon as it opened, I went right into Instagram and to the gossip pages, namely the most famous one. I scrolled down a little, then tapped what I was looking for: Blaise’s proposal video.

“Bitch is lucky someone was blocking her stomach,” I scoffed.

As I watched for what would be the hundredth time since it was posted almost a week ago, anger consumed me. I hadn’t been engaged a month, and people had already forgotten about my huge rock that I’d posted to my page. And on top of that, I was jealous. Why didn’t Ian do something big like this for me? Shit, he was richer than Belly.
