We walked in the door of the condo with plenty of time before Shelby dropped Mikey off. I sighed happily. Glad we were home. Vegas was fun, but I could honestly go without all the excitement and drama that seemed to follow us everywhere.

“I love you. I’m so sorry I freaked and ran… again,” I wrapped my arms around Trey’s neck.

“I’m sorry too. I should have known that would be hard for you,” he said sweetly cupping my face.

Something broke in me, and I found myself grabbing on to his hair and kissing him hard. I backed him against the wall and wrapped one leg around his hips and ground into him. He growled into my mouth and I smiled inwardly. When we were both competing for dominance like this, we tended to get wild. Our mouths were battling as Trey’s hand snuck up under my shirt and pinched a nipple over the lace of my bra. I moaned and he took advantage of my distraction and flipped us around. Lifting my other leg around his waist, I pistoned myself up and down on his jean-covered cock. The friction between our bodies was indescribable. “God Trey, feels so good,” I moaned.

“I need to be inside of you, right now,” he said punctuating each word with a thrust of his hips and stars flashed behind my eyes as I hit down on his shoulder.

He roared and dropped me to my feet before deftly removing all of our clothes. “I will marry you, you know that right?” I nearly begged.

  “I’m not asking. Yet.”

“Just so you know that when you do, it’s a sure thing. I’m sorry I made you doubt us.”

  TREY

I attacked her mouth. I couldn’t help it. Knowing that she would marry me had me wanting her with a ferocity I hadn’t expected. Pressing my body into hers against the wall, my whole body tingled at the sensation of her perfect creamy skin against mine.

“God, I fucking love you.” I panted as she jumped up and wrapped her long silky legs around my waist and bore down on my cock.

“Mmm,” she moaned as she impaled herself on me and started bouncing up and down.

I needed somewhere to sit before my legs gave out from the sensation. Walking to the couch, I sat us down with her in my lap and took one nipple into my mouth and swirled my tongue around it. Kenzie screamed and bucked her hips back and forth in a circular motion and that was it. I couldn’t stop myself from laying back on the couch and watching her. I ran my rough palms up and down her silky thighs fully absorbed in the sensation of her rocking on top of me. As I got closer to my impending orgasm, I reached down and rubbed circles on her clit. She came on a scream and brought me along with her as her inner walls milked me to my completion.

Kenzie collapsed on top of me, raining feather-like kisses on my sweaty chest.

“We should fight more often. That was fan-fucking-tastic.” I smiled and she glared at me.

  “No, just no.”

  CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE

  MAC

Decorating cookies with the kids was a lot of fun, after Kaylee made more of her famous buttercream icing. We all sat around the kitchen island while the mouth-watering smell of banana bread baked in the oven. It was a perfect December afternoon with family and I found myself content. Trey and Kenzie had shown up a little bit ago with Mikey in tow..

“Sorry about the mix-up, brother,” Trey said softly, slapping me on the shoulder. “It looks like it all worked out in the end though.”

“Yup, it sure did. How about on your end?” I saw Kenzie at the other side of the island helping Mikey with his cookies and giggling.

“Everything’s fantastic.” He grinned at me.

“No more running?” I eyed him over my beer bottle.

  “Nope.”

“Good, I’m glad Barbie is finally smartening up.”

  “Me too.”

“Hey you two, get back to decorating.” Kay laughed.

“Yes ma’am,” we said in unison and laughed.

“Daddy, I have to go to the bathroom,” Mikey said and Trey got up.

“Duty calls.” Trey laughed at his own stupid joke.

  MARCY

“Have you guys set a date yet?” Kaylee asked, smiling at me.

“For the love of God woman, we just got engaged yesterday.”

“You’re getting married?” Leanne asked excitedly. “Can I see the ring? Can I be the flower girl?”

“Breathe child.” Kaylee laughed at her daughter. I lifted my hand and showed Leanne the ring. She was about to grab my hand when Kay stopped her. “Don’t touch, you have icing all over your hands.”

Leanne was definitely becoming a teenager if the disgruntled look she cast her mother was any indication. “It’s okay. Look I have icing on my hands too.”

Kaylee rolled her eyes and walked away. I knew exactly where Leanne got her snark from. The thought had me giggling.

It was such a perfect afternoon, I sighed in contentment. This was what the holidays were all about. I looked down at my ring wistfully. Who would have thought my life could end up like this? Just a year ago I never thought it’d be possible.

  CHAPTER FORTY

  TWITCH

I was nervous bringing James around all the kids. I knew they wouldn’t hurt him, but germs wreaked havoc on a newborns immune system. Tasha rolled her eyes and knocked on the door.

“Quit being so overprotective, daddy.” She laughed and patted my arm.

  “Germs are everywhere,” I grumbled.

“If you become a crazy germaphobe, I will divorce you.”

“We’re not married yet,” I reminded her. She glared at me just as Kaylee answered the door. “You’re supposed to be decorating the cookies, not yourself.”

“Ass,” she mumbled under her breath and rubbed a hand over her face.

“It’s in your hair too.” I smirked.

“Okay, I get it. The kids had an icing fight and attacked me.” She laughed. “Hi, James, aren’t you just the cutest?”

Kaylee grabbed the carrier from me before I could stop her and carried him inside jabbering in baby talk to him. “Go ahead Kaylee be my guest.”

  “Stop it,” Tasha admonished me.

“You people and all these babies are giving me baby fever.” Tara laughed as she hugged Tasha.

“No.” Billy glared at his wife and we all laughed. Tara pouted and came to hug me.

“How’s my Twitchy friend doing? Her taking off with James like that is killing you, isn’t it?”

“Nah, it’s cool. She just has frosting all over her. She’s gonna get him all dirty.”

  TASHA

I couldn’t help but laugh. Twitch was being ridiculous. If I didn’t watch him he would end up putting James in a bubble. I refused to let my son grow up in an environment where he couldn’t do things like have icing fights and play in the dirt, although being only a week old, maybe he had a small point.

“Don’t worry, after a couple weeks he’ll get over it.” Griffin walked up next to me, pretty much answering my internal thought. He looked even worse than Kay. The greasy icing was smeared all over his face and in his hair.

  “I look ridiculous, don’t I?” Griffin grinned.

“Yeah a little bit. Kay said the kids did it. She didn’t mention the big kids took part in it too.”

“It was totally their fault. You don’t throw stuff at a vet and not expect them to attack.”

“You taught the little rugrats a lesson then, huh?” I laughed.

“Twitch! I will wash my hands before I take him out. Quit being a psycho,” I heard Kaylee yell from the kitchen.

“Dylan!” I snapped, yelling at him from the living room. “Let the woman hold the baby. She freaking helped deliver him, in case you’ve forgotten.”

  “But, Tasha. Germs!”

“I’m gonna smack him upside his stupid head,” I grumbled to Griffin who was standing there looking back and forth between me and the kitchen as though he were watching a tennis match.

“A couple weeks and he will stop,” Griffin promised me an
d gave me a side hug.

I stomped my way over to Twitch and started working the restraints and pulling James out of the car seat and into my arms glaring at Twitch the entire time.

“Officer Trixie is gonna kick your ass, brother.” Trey walked in the door carrying Mikey upside-down.

“Daddy don’t say ass.” Mikey shook his head at him. It looked like all the blood was rushing to his head.

“Oops you’re not supposed to repeat that,” he mock-whispered. Mikey giggled. “Where can I put this?” He held Mikey triumphantly upside down.

“On the couch,” Lance giggled running after them.

He dropped Mikey on his head on the couch and he giggled wildly. “My turn! My turn!” Lance squealed.

“No,” Kaylee yelled. “You’ll get icing all over the couch. Let’s go wash you up first.”

“Oh sure, she doesn’t mind getting icing all over my son, but don’t get it on the couch.” Twitch grumbled.

“Shut up.” I glared at him. Having this baby turned him into a totally different person and I didn’t like it.

  CHAPTER FORTY-ONE

  GRIFFIN

I woke up early because I had one last present I needed to pick up before everyone got up and there was no telling what time the kids would wake. Twitch met me in the hall and we left through the underground parking garage.

We got to Tara and Billy’s place in a little under forty minutes. The sun was just rising and I was hoping they were awake. Knocking on the door, I waited until Billy answered in his boxers with his shotgun in his hand.

“Did you forget we were coming?” I laughed.

“Shit, sorry man. I totally forgot.” He shook his head and let us in the door.

“Thanks for holding on to them for me,” I said excitedly.

“Do you have any idea how hard it was for Tara to keep her mouth shut on this one? I’m surprised that she didn’t let it slip when they were all drunk in Vegas,” he laughed. I chuckled along with him. It was a big joke in the family. Those two were the worst at keeping presents a secret. When Tara got drunk during Christmas time, Billy ended up getting half his presents early.

“Well, tell her thank you for not spilling the beans.”

“Sure thing, they’re in the garage. Come on.”

We walked through the house and to Billy’s man cave. He had everything out there. When the family got together we all hung out in there and played pool or watched whatever game was on at the time.

There was a cardboard box in the middle of the floor that was shaking and little whimpering noises were coming from it. Twitch lifted an eyebrow, and I grinned as I strode over to the box and peered inside.

  KAYLEE

I woke up to the heavenly smell of bacon and groaned. Nat wasn’t in her bassinet. I freaked for a second before Griff walked in with a breakfast tray in one arm and our daughter in the other. My heart fluttered every time I saw the two of them together. He was the most doting dad ever, to all my kids, and I wasn’t sure how it was possible but I loved him more every day.

“Eat fast, before the terrors wake up. I need to keep them out of the living room until we’re ready,” he said cryptically. I rolled my eyes wondering what the hell he had up his sleeve as he leaned over and kissed my forehead before carrying Nat out of the room.

I hurried to eat my breakfast, curious as to what Griffin was up to as I got dressed. Walking into the living room I heard some whimpering and scratching coming from a plain cardboard box under the tree and smiled shaking my head at the sweetest man in the world.

“Griff? What’s in the box?” I asked and heard a loud yip.

  “Go look.” He smiled brightly.

Walking over to the box, I looked inside and laughed. “There’s two of them?”

  “I couldn’t just get one.”

Reaching in, I picked up the white fur ball and laughed when it started licking my face.

“Is that a puppy?” Lance shrieked as he came running into the room. Leanne walked in behind him looking disheveled and groggy until she looked up and saw the squirming bundle in my arms. Her eyes went wide and a giant smile crossed her face as she ran over to see what I had.

“Don’t everyone hog him; his sister may feel neglected.” Griffin laughed and Leanne looked down at the cardboard box by my feet and squealed.

“Is she for me?” she asked him hopefully.

“Yup, I got one for each of you.” He grinned. Happiness was shining in his eyes as each of the kids came over and hugged him close.

“Do do do,” Nat babbled smiling and lunging for the puppy in my arms.

“This is the best Christmas ever. Thank you so much,” Leanne gushed and hugged me close. It was then that I realized for the first time in a long while that everything would be okay.

  CHAPTER FORTY-TWO

  TREY

I woke up slowly, groaning as I felt something hot and wet on my cock. She licked the vein on the underside of my shaft and my back arched as sparks started to flash behind my eyes.

She moaned around my shaft and I realized she was touching herself. It was such a turn on that my girl got off on sucking me off. I nearly came just thinking about her fingers sliding in and out, getting herself nice and worked up for when I ended this little blow job of hers.

I hadn’t realized my hands moved to her hair until she was moaning at the pain mixed with her pleasure as I pulled her wild blonde hair and wrapped it around my fist. “Stop, sunshine. I’m gonna come and I want to be balls deep when that happens.” I growled.

She released me with a pop and grinned as I lunged for her and pinned her back onto the bed. “That’s how I want to wake up every morning.”

“That can be arranged,” she said and attacked my mouth. An idea occurred to me and I reached over into the nightstand and found what I was looking for. I had put them there the night before… just in case.

I smiled against her mouth as the cool metal snapped around her tiny wrist and quickly snapped the cuff around her other wrist through the headboard. “What are you doing?”

“Making sure you can’t go anywhere.” I smiled and she growled at me.

“I swear to God Trey, you better take these damn things off before I cut your balls off.”

“I promise I won’t leave you cuffed to the bed this time.” I chuckled and then rammed my cock inside her. I stopped, relishing the feel of her quivering muscles around me, before pulling out. I had a plan.

“Trey, I want to touch you, please?”

  “Nope, I’m in charge, sunshine.”

Grabbing a tie that I had also stuck in the nightstand the night before, I tied it around her eyes and she groaned. “Trust me,” I whispered close to her ear as I slid my tongue down the side of her neck. She shuddered and writhed beneath me. My lips left her body and she sighed in resignation.

“I want to touch you,” she whined and I chuckled darkly. Sliding my hands down her body, I watched as she reflexively pulled on the cuffs.

“Don’t hurt yourself, sunshine,” I said as I licked up her slit and sucked her clit into my mouth. I heard the cuffs shaking against the metal of the headboard and looked up to see her head thrashing back and forth. I don’t know if it was the heightened sensations from being unable to see or if she was still worked up from before, but she shattered beneath my tongue.

Smiling I removed the blindfold and kissed her fiercely. Next, I removed the handcuffs and kissed the red angry marks on her wrists.

“Mm, fuck me now, Trey.” She wrapped her arms around my neck. I thrust into her hard and stilled, groaning out at the feel of her swollen around me. I didn’t think I would ever get used to the feeling of completion I got when I was inside her. “I love you,” I said and kissed her sweetly.

“I love you too. Now move. Please.” She thrashed and gyrated her hips. Finally, she lost her control and flipped me over in one swift motion plunging herself down on top of me and riding me, circling her h
ips as I circled her clit with one finger. She cried out my name, and I felt her inner walls milking me to my own completion. She collapsed on my chest and I held her tight hoping that after today I would still have her to hold on to.

  KENZIE

Later that morning we sat around the tree with Mikey while he opened all his presents. The egg thing was his favorite and he begged to take it out of the box.

“We should have had him open that one last.” I chuckled.

“No buddy, you got more presents to open.” Trey winked at him conspiratorially.

“Okay,” he whined to Trey’s laughter. I was starting to wonder where he was going to keep all the toys Trey and I bought him, when he walked up to me with a box in his hand.

“This is for you, Kenzie.” He smiled nervously. I melted.

  “What’s this, Mikey?”

  “Open it.”

I ripped the paper open. It was the size of a shoe box and it was wrapped beautifully in shiny red paper with a big green bow. I smiled over at Trey who was looking back at me. I couldn’t decipher his look. He almost looked tortured.

As I felt around in the mass of tissue paper, I stilled as I felt a little box inside the bigger one. Taking a deep cleansing breath, I grinned as I pulled the little blue box out of the mass of tissue paper.

Tears filled my eyes and threatened to spill as I looked down at little Mikey who was down on one knee in front of me smiling.

“Kenzie? Will you marry my daddy?” he whispered, and I think that was the first time I had ever been so choked up that I couldn’t speak. It was such a beautiful meaningful gesture. I nodded to Mikey smiling and he jumped up in my lap and hugged me. The only thing I could do in that moment was joke.

“That was a low blow, Trey Thomas.” I laughed through my tears. “Using the kid to do your dirty work.”

He moved next to us and grabbed the box from my hand and put the amazing solitaire princess cut diamond on my finger and kissed my knuckles.
