Feels So Right, It Must Be Wrong 3

Knowledge felt a funny feeling in his stomach. “I’m on my way.”
Knowledge was brought out of his thoughts by Chelsea’s pleas.
“Asia, look, please just let my sister go. She has nothing to do with this,” Chelsea pleaded.
Asia looked at Chelsea with hatred in her eyes as she aimed her gun at her. Knowledge stepped in front of Chelsea.
“Think about what you’re doing, Asia,” he said.
“Think about what I’m doing?” Asia retorted. “Nigga, this bitch was in on the plan to have me kidnapped! I was drugged, beaten and sold to the lowest fucking bidder and you’re standing here talking about ‘think about what I’m doing?’” she yelled.
“Asia, I can’t let you do this. Regardless of anything, she’s Serenity’s mother,” Knowledge sighed.
“I’m Wysdom’s mother! Or did you forget?” she asked through tears. She wasn’t crying because she was hurt, she was crying because reality was starting to set in for her. Here was the man she thought she loved holding up another female in her wrong. This was an eye opening moment for her because she knew now that he would always chose her first, no matter what.
With shaky hands, Asia cocked the gun and aimed it at Knowledge’s chest. Tears blurred her vision as she put pressure on the trigger. Mickey, Cole, Khyree, and Symir held their breaths, not really wanting to see this go down. Asia dropped the gun and ran out of the warehouse.
Everyone sighed as Khyree tried to go after her, but Symir stopped him. “Give her a minute,” he said.
Knowledge closed his eyes, took a deep breath and said a silent prayer. He reached in his waistline and pulled his gun out, turned around and shot Chelsea right between her eyes.
“Oh shit!” Cole yelled.
“Nooooo!” Kelsea yelled as she watched her sister’s lifeless body fall to the ground.
Her cries were cut short by a bullet entering her head also. Knowledge stood there with his gun aimed at her dead body, but never taking his eyes off Chelsea’s dead body.
There, lying in front of him, was the woman he had loved once upon a time. The woman who had his first child, the woman he’d planned on spending the rest of his life with. Even with all that, he stood there feeling no emotion towards her right now. The only thing he would probably regret was Serenity not growing up with her mother.
Symir walked over to Knowledge and took the gun out of his hand. Knowledge looked at him with a blank expression on his face.
“Tell her she doesn’t have to worry anymore,” Knowledge said before walking away.
Symir felt for Knowledge. He was not expecting him to off Chelsea like that. Not only did he kill the mother of his firstborn, but he also killed her sister. Symir didn’t know what he would have done had he been in Knowledge’s position.
Chapter Twenty
Patience was taking a good nap until she heard three loud bangs. She jumped out of her sleep, not knowing what the hell was going on. She threw her robe on and cautiously walked down the stairs.
When she got down there, she saw Knowledge standing there with a sleeping Serenity in his arms and Wysdom’s car seat.
“Boy, what are you doing?” she asked as she took Serenity from him.
“They’re gone,” was all he said.
“Hold that thought. Let me lay her down,” Patience said as she took Serenity upstairs and laid her down.
Knowledge sat on the couch and took Wysdom out of her car seat. This was the first time he had seen her since she was sick in the hospital.
“Now who is they and where did they go?” Patience asked.
“Chelsea is dead and Asia is only God knows where.”
“Whoa, what? Chelsea is dead?”
Knowledge placed Wysdom on the floor so she could crawl as he filled his sister in on everything that happened. At first, Knowledge didn’t feel a certain way for killing Chelsea, but now that he was sitting her talking to his sister, different emotions were rushing him at once.
“I’m saying, Patience, you should have seen the pain in her eyes before she ran out of that building. It took everything in me not to run after her,” Knowledge said as he ran his hands over his face. “Like, what the hell am I going to tell Serenity when she gets older and starts asking about her?”
Patience sat there in shock. She was trying to digest the fact that her little brother had just told her that he killed his ex-girlfriend who is also the mother of his child. “Omari, I don’t even know what to say,” Patience said.
Knowledge knew that this was some serious shit because his sister never called him Omari. It was no secret that Patience didn’t care too much for Chelsea, but she never thought she would hear the day that she was killed, and at the hands of her brother at that.
“What happened to her body? Where’s Asia? How did you end up with Wysdom?” Patience fired off question after question.
“Honestly, I don’t even know. I couldn’t stay in there any longer. As far as where Asia is, I’m not too sure but I have an idea she might be in Tennessee with her mom. Mama Crystal dropped Wysdom off at my house and said that Asia called and told her to bring her there.”
Patience was about to say something, but there was another knock at her door. She got up and was surprised to see Mickey standing there. He looked as if he’d had a long day.
“Come on in,” she said as she stepped to the side.
Mickey walked in and stopped when he saw Knowledge sitting on the couch.
“My bad, I can come at another time,” he said.
“Nah, it’s cool. I just came to talk and clear my head,” Knowledge said as he tried to get off the couch.
“Both of you go sit down somewhere. Knowledge, you need to call mama and have a talk with her. Mekal, make yourself comfortable while I go get dinner started. From what I heard, y’all had a long day and I’m pretty sure the both of you are hungry,” Patience said.
“You sure? I know my boy needs you right now and I don’t want to impose,” Mickey said.
“Sit,” Patience said as she pointed to the couch.
Mickey did as he was told. He picked Wysdom up and started playing with her as Patience retreated towards the kitchen.
“Damn, man. I don’t know who she looks like more. You or Asia,” Mickey said as he bounced Wysdom up and down.
“I know. We did good with her.” Knowledge smiled at his daughter.
“How you feeling?” Mickey questioned.
“I really don’t know how to feel,” Knowledge answered honestly.
“That’s understandable,” Mickey nodded his head up and down. “Just so you know, Symir took their bodies out to the back and called an anonymous tip about two dead bodies. He knew how much she meant to you, so he didn’t wanna do her dirty like that. He said he knew how much it took for you to do that so the least he could do was allow her to have a proper burial.”
“That’s what’s up. I’ll have to call and thank him later.”
To say that his head was messed up would be an understatement. He killed the woman he used to love over what she did to another woman he loved deeply but wasn’t too sure if they would ever be able to be together.

Sasha opened her door, shocked to see her daughter standing there. She pulled her in the house while Asia broke down crying in her arms. Sasha shut her front door and stood there in the foyer, holding her daughter as she cried.
“Aw, baby, what’s wrong?” Sasha asked.
“I’m so confused and I don’t know what to do. I feel so stupid that I love a man that will never be mines,” Asia cried.
“So I guess you’re talking about Mr. Knowledge?” Sasha questioned, as she wiped her daughter’s tears.
Asia nodded her head yes as she proceeded to tell her mother what had happened since she left. Sasha listened attentively as Asia explained what happened when she was in the warehouse. She even included everything her brother told her that happened after she ran out.
“Wait, so you’re telling me
that he killed her himself?” Sasha asked, shocked.
“That’s what the guys said.”
“Asia, I honestly think you two need to sit down and have a serious talk. One-on-one, jus you two with no distractions, where you just lay everything out on the table with no holding back,” Sasha said.
“Mommy,” Asia whined.
“I’m serious, Lady Love. This mess between you has obviously been going on too long. Do you really think he would have killed her if he didn’t feel anything deep for you? It doesn’t sound like he was protecting her at all. He was protecting you.”
Asia shook her head. “He wasn’t protecting me. He straight up told me not to kill her because she was Serenity’s mother.”
“Asia, think about this for a minute. Regardless of how the situation would have went down, the both of you are the mothers to his children. As you told me, they were together for years before he got down here so they have history together. You don’t know what he was thinking or feeling while watching one of his daughter’s mothers hold a gun up to his other daughter’s mother. That man was engaged to be married to her, so, no, he didn’t want you to kill her.”
Asia rolled her eyes. She didn’t know why her mother was sitting up here taking up for Knowledge and Chelsea’s relationship as if she had purposely broke them up. Chelsea had done her dirty and deserved to die just like Linx and Cordae.
“But,” Sasha said as she grabbed Asia’s face and turned it so she was looking at her, “he took her out so you wouldn’t have to.”
“Mommy, look. I understand you’re team Knowledge just like everyone else, but nobody seems to be thinking about my feelings in this whole situation,” Asia protested.
“That’s the problem, Asia. You’re only thinking about you and how you feel. How do you think he is going to feel later on down the line when he has to explain to what happened to Chelsea when Serenity gets older?” Sasha asked.
Asia didn’t say anything because her mom was right. She was being selfish and only thinking about herself. She never once stopped to think about how Knowledge, or especially Serenity, would feel.
“Let me tell you something else. Knowledge knew what he was doing when he brought Chelsea in that warehouse. He could have easily let you kill her sister and then stashed Chelsea away somewhere where she would be safe and you wouldn’t have even known. He brought her in there for a reason.”
Asia smiled slightly because her mom was right. She was saying everything that Asia needed to hear, not what she wanted to hear. Everyone back home was pacifying her and letting her have things her way, but not Sasha. She had no problem giving it to her daughter straight up, no chaser.
“What reason is that, Mommy?” Asia asked.
“Now that is something you are going to have to ask him yourself, Lady Love.” Sasha smiled.
Chapter Twenty One
Anika was in the kitchen, away from everybody, clearing her thoughts. Lately, her mind had been wandering to her relationship with Symir. They still weren’t on good terms but he would all to check up on Sasha and the baby and go to her appointments with her. He had apologized to her for insinuating that the baby wasn’t his.
Even though she accepted his apology, she wouldn’t deny that it hurt. Never in a million years would she have imagined that she and Symir would be in the place that they were now. He was the same little boy that used to chase her around the neighborhood, the same one who ended up being her high school sweetheart, the same man who turned into the father of her children and was her fiancé…once upon a time.
She had to keep reminding herself that he took his ring back from her. How did we get here? she asked herself. She knew that it was partially her fault because she was hiding something from him.
“Girl, you didn’t hear me calling you?” Cookie asked.
“Huh?” Anika asked.
“Asia just showed up with your children’s father. Time to open the gifts,” Cookie explained.
“Okay, here I come.”
Anika wasn’t really in a festive mood but Patience and Cookie insisted that she have a baby shower at the last minute. She didn’t see the harm in that since she really hadn’t gone shopping for the baby. I’m slipping.
When Anika made her way to the living room, she was confused as to why the front door was wide open and there was a big ass delivery truck backing into the driveway. She looked around, confused.
“What is all this?” she asked Cookie.
“I told you Asia and Symir are here.” Cookie smirked.
Anika shook her head as she went outside to see what was going on. Asia and Symir were getting out of his truck when she got out there. Asia walked over to Anika while Symir went to the truck.
“Sorry I’m late. My flight got delayed,” Asia told Anika.
“What are you two doing?” Anika asked.
“What’s a baby shower without gifts?” Asia asked.
“Huh?”
Anika was confused because her gifts were already inside. Asia laughed. She was bursting to tell Anika all about the surprises that Symir had for her. When Anika looked back in the direction of the truck, she was shocked to see that there was a damn midnight blue Rolls Royce coupe being unloaded. Her hands immediately went to her heart and stomach.
“Oh my God,” she said as she felt dizzy.
“Asia, take her in the house.” Symir smirked. He didn’t want her out there fainting on the front lawn.
“Come on, girl. I know you’re happy as hell,” Asia chuckled. “That man loves you. All I got was a damn Maybach,” she joked.
Anika shook her head as Asia led her back into the house. Patience and Cookie were going googly-eyed over the car. Cookie had never seen a car that damn expensive a day in her life.
“Asia, tell him to take it back. I can’t drive a car that damn expensive,” Anika said.
“And why the hell not?” Symir asked as he walked in the house.
“Because there is nothing wrong with the Range Rover you bought me last year, Symir. A Rolls Royce?” Anika asked.
“You know his ass loves going all out with his gifts,” Asia laughed.
“It was the least I could do, especially with everything I have been taking you through lately,” he said.
Asia used that her cue to go get her other gift from Symir. She came back with a chair and sat Anika down before handing her the gift. “Here,” Asia smiled.
Anika opened the box and was shocked to find their marriage license in there. She looked up at him, confused, before getting the smaller box that was wrapped in blue wrapping paper and opening it.
“Damnnnnn!” Patience yelled once she saw what was in there.
Anika took the ring out of the box with her mouth open. This ring was bigger than the last one he had given her. It literally looked and felt like a rock. The diamonds were straight shining.
“Is it too late for me to take back my diaper bag?” Cookie asked, which caused everyone to laugh.
Symir got down on his knee and took the ring from Anika.
“Nika, I know we’ve been here before but because of my actions and stupidity, we never made it down the aisle. I had some time to think with the help of some cussing out and threatening,” he said as he looked at Asia. “So here and now, I want to apologize for everything. They say you never know what you have until it’s gone, but I can admit that I knew what I had. I just never thought I would lose you. Since we were little snotty-nosed kids, you have been by my side, helping me get through everything.
“You were the first person I told when I found my sister and was excited to bring her home. Whenever I needed a shoulder to lean on or cry on, you were there to comfort me. We had a little set back in our relationship but I feel that was for us to come back stronger. I let my frustration and anger get in the way and took it out on you. I have never loved anyone the way I love you. I guess with all that, someone has something they want to ask you.” He smiled as Sasha walked from the back.
She got down on h
er knee with her daddy and smiled at her mom.
“Mommy, will you please marry my daddy?” Sasha asked.
By now Anika had a damn river flowing from her eyes from crying. She looked at her girls and they were crying, too, even Asia. She had to chuckle at this scene. She took Symir’s hand and put it on her stomach as their son started kicking and moving wildly. Symir smiled at the feeling.
“I guess that’s a yes.” Anika smiled as she pulled her man into her and placed a kiss on his lips.
“Ewww, keep it PG. There are kids here,” Sasha said as she covered her eyes.
“Get your daughter,” Symir laughed.
“Um, I’m taking my crib back. There’s no way in hell my gift will top this,” Asia said. “Way to go, Mir.”
“This is the best baby shower I have ever been to,” Cookie said as she wiped her tears.
Asia took this as the opportunity to pull Patience to the side so they could talk. “Patience, can I talk to you for a minute?” Asia asked.
“Yea, come on.”
Patience stopped by one of the rooms to check on a sleeping Serenity and Wysdom. Asia was shocked to see the girls in there. Before she left four days ago, she had her mom drop Wysdom off to Knowledge.
“They are so adorable.” Patience smiled at her nieces.
“They are, huh? Where is their dad? That’s actually what I wanted to talk to you about.”
“I don’t know. He dropped them off to me yesterday and told me to watch them until you got back. He said he needed to get away and clear his head, and that was the last I heard from him,” Patience said.
“Okay, because I called to talk to him but his phone kept going to voicemail,” Asia said.
The talk she’d had with her mom really did something to her. She realized that she had no real reason to even be mad at Knowledge. What happened to her wasn’t his fault because he had no control over Chelsea or Cordae’s actions.
“He’ll pop up soon, and when he does, I’ll let him know you were looking from him,” Patience said.
“Thanks.” Asia smiled slightly before walking back to the living room.
