Nice hung up ready to strangle someone. He wanted to kick a hole in Mia’s head. He thought about his options, he could of called both his mother or Lucky and they would head out there immediately, but Ty was closer since her job was out in Jersey and so was Ky’s school. He called hoping she hadn’t already left the office for the day.
Ty’s attention was taken away from her computer screen when she heard her phone ring. Her face lit up when she saw Nice’s number and her heart started racing like she had a school aged crush. “Hey baby,” Ty cooed into the phone. “Baby girl I need you to do me a solid.” Ty smiled “You know what? You’re going to have to start paying me for all these damn favors boy.” “I know ma, I got you. Ky’s school just called they said she never got picked up from school. Them niggaz talking crazy, sayin since she always being left in the office as a late pick up they are required to call CPS and shit. I could call Lucky or my mom but I figured with the traffic to get to Jersey it’s gonna take them longer to get…” Ty cut him off mid sentence. “Kamar say no more. I’m on my way to get her. It’s nearly 5:30 why didn’t you call me earlier?” Ty demanded as she rushed out of her office. “Ty I just found out.” “Alright baby what’s the address to her school?”
Ty plugged the address Nice gave her into her GPS system and was on her way to pick Ky up. When she got there Ky was sitting in a wooden chair in the main office looking scared and on the verge of tears. As soon as she spotted Ty she hopped up from her chair and ran to her full speed. Ty picked her up in her arms and squeezed her as if she hadn’t seen her in years. “Oh baby you okay?” Ky shook her head with a sad look on her face. Nice had called ahead of time to let them know Ty was coming. The principal didn’t even have to ask the question to Ky if she knew who Ty was? It was evident that she did. Ty was still required to show her license since she wasn’t on the emergency pick up list yet.
Ty wasn’t even on the road for five minutes headed to Nice’s house when her phone started blowing up. Everyone from Los to Cathy had called wanting to confirm that Ty had picked Kynah up and to make sure Ky was alright. No one had anything pleasant to say about Mia. Ty was trying to stay neutral, because she didn’t know Mia. “I can’t believe that bitch,” Lucky fussed. “Ty I’ll call you back after I calm this fool down. He talking about going and looking for ole girl in Jersey and slapping her for every minute Ky was left over at school.” “Oh boy, yes go and get ya damn man,” Ty laughed and hung up.
That night Nice came in the house after 11 all amped up. “Where Ky?! “Ssshh baby she in the bed. She’s fed bathed and sleeping getting rest for school tomorrow.” Ty said sitting up in bed looking at him all crazy. “Ty! Anybody call the house?” Nice asked grabbing the cordless phone and searching the caller ID. “Besides your family to check on Ky no.” “So you mean to tell me that bird brain ass hoe ain’t call?” Ty didn’t respond she knew that was more of a statement. “She don’t even know where her daughter at. For all she knows Ky could be missing.” “Baby look I’m quite sure she knows either you or your peoples have Kynah. And she probably hasn’t called because she knows you’re going to be mad.” “What?! Ty are you fuckin serious? You taking her side? What you think it’s alright that she left her daughter at school and ain’t even call to make sure someone picked her up? Yo, you bugged the fuck out!” “Whoa, you did not hear me make any excuses for her, yes, she’s dead wrong, but don’t come in here all swole up screaming on me. You mad at your baby mama be mad at her! Don’t take that shit out on me. I ain’t pick her you did. Niggaz stay screamin my baby mama trife this and that, well you should’ve known that before you laid up with the bitch.” Ty mumbled under her breath grabbing her pillow to lay back down. She was through with Nice for the night.
“Oh so what’s that slick shit you talkin? I picked her ha, yeah just like you picked that lame ass nigga that almost got you locked up on that Bernie Madoff shit he was into, then shitted on you for that white bitch after he lumped ya shit up right?!” Nice shot back. Ty’s mouth dropped open into an O; she could not believe that Nice had just shot that in her face. Her feelings were truly hurt. She didn’t have a retort. She just glared as she watched him swag angrily into the master bathroom and slam the door to shower.
After taking a shower and calming down a bit he realized he was out of line. When he walked back into the bedroom Ty was lying down with her back towards him. Her whole posture screamed I’m mad. Nice slid under the covers and reached out for her but she pushed him away. “Ty I’m sorry, for real that’s me ma. I was outta line. I’m sorry,” Nice said as he pulled her into his arms kissing on her neck. “Stop! Nice. I’m not playing with you, fuck off me” Ty said pushing him off of her. Ty laid there eyebrows furrowed and bottom lip poked out with her arms crossed over her chest. “What I gotta do?” He asked sexily in her ear. Ty rolled her eyes as Nice mounted her. He stared down at her as she looked over to the side with attitude. The funny thing is she didn’t realize just how sexy she was when she was mad. “You mad at me?” he said as he kissed her neck then breasts until her nipples were hard as rocks, all along asking her in between kisses “You mad at me?” Ty still had her face turned up trying to act as if he wasn’t having an effect on her but her body was saying otherwise.
Ty felt the first flick of his tongue and she thought she would lose her battle with the game of not screaming out in pleasure. “You mad at me baby girl?” He asked his lips and warm tongue vibrating against her wetness. He French kissed her pussy as if he were kissing her mouth sticking his tongue deep into her wetness then taking it out, all awhile he asked in between licking, kissing and stroking her pussy with his mouth was she mad at him? Nice started to lick her clit with pressure and fast flicks of his tongue. Ty grabbed the back of his head and arched her back. Nice could feel her pussy muscles tighten and knew she was on a verge of an explosion. “You mad at me baby?” Nice asked in between licks of her clit. Ty gasped and it sounded as if she were trying to catch her breath “Noooo!” Ty screamed out. “Baby, baby oh shit!” Ty fell back on the bed winded as Nice stayed down in between her legs trying to lap up and taste all of her juices. Ty squirmed and pawed at his head crying out in ecstasy.
Nice finally came up for air and kissed Ty passionately. “You still mad at me?” “No baby.” Ty admitted looking as if she were on her way to falling asleep after cumming so hard. “What you doing Ty? You better act like you know Daddy’s home. Show Daddy you missed him. And ya boy nutted up, stop playin,” He said sucking on her neck. Ty giggled lightly with her eyes shut. “Boy please, I can only imagine the Kardashian looking bitches you probably smashed down in Miami.” “Nah Ty on some real shit. I just ain’t have it in me. All I did was think about you while I was gone. I’m ready to be on some exclusive shit, that’s if you still want this old man?” Ty opened her eyes and looked into Nice’s eyes and saw he was dead serious. She kissed him deeply. “You know I want you.” “A'ight so it’s official, you locked down and this pussy is too. For real Ty don’t make me catch a body out here over my shit. Now show Daddy how his pussy work. Come on baby girl bust it wide open and throw it back for ya man.” Ty giggled, she was just half asleep after that orgasm. Now she was fully awake. She finally got what she wanted commitment out of Nice. “Alright Daddy but you gotta do one thing for me. Take this pussy like a G. And don’t be bitching up screaming and shit like you usually do, waking my baby up in the next room.” Ty said as she climbed on top of him. Nice looked up at Ty and cracked up. That was his baby, she was wild. That’s why he loved her so much. Ty did just as she said she would, put it on him until he was begging and screaming out Ty’s name.
New Arrival
Two months later Ijah Dyshawn Evans Jr. was born. No one could tell who was more excited about the birth Lucky and Los or Keema and Jah. By the time Lucky and Los made it to the hospital Keema was in the delivery room with Jah and Ty. Since the hospital was only allowing two people at a time in the delivery room. Lucky had to wait until Ty came out to check on Keema.
Keema was a complete mess. One minute she was grabbing and slapping on Jah telling him to get away from her. The next minute when a contraction would hit her she would cry out for Jah to hold her, begging him to stop the pain. Poor Jah was doing all he could, he was rubbing her back feeding her ice cubes and even taking a few hits for the team. Lucky thought she was acting damn possessed. She couldn’t wait to get out of there after staying in the room for about 20 minutes. “Keem Keem it’s goin to be alright Mama,” Lucky said leaning in kissing Keema on her forehead. “Ty is dying to come in so I’ma go out and let her come in.” Keema was so exhausted she seemed to not hear anything.
Keema seemed to be in labor for forever. Kynah who was waiting for the new arrival of her baby cousin had fallen asleep in the waiting room hours ago. And everyone else in the room seemed to be following suit except for Lucky. Ty came rushing out announcing that Keema was finally 10 centimeters and would be having the baby any minute now.
Baby Jah came into the world kicking and screaming. Showing he was going to be a hell raiser just like his mother and father. Keema was overjoyed and cried as soon as she laid eyes on her son. The first time she held him she didn’t want to let him go even though she was too weak to hold him for long. She could not believe that this little thing caused her so much pain. Keema’s only wish was that she would be a better mother to her child than her own was to her.
From the moment his son took his first breath Jah said a silent prayer. And a promise that he would always be there for both Keema and his son, no matter what. If it ever came down to him and another nigga it would definitely be the next nigga because he was going to be there to see his son grow into a man, by any means necessary. Unlike his own father who pulled a disappearing act; the cycle ended here.
A week after the baby was home Keema started to feel down. She cried a lot on and off and at times when Baby Jah cried Keema would be fearful to even pick him up. To Keema it felt as if her son took to everyone else except her. It seemed as if he stopped crying as soon as Jah picked him up but when she did he would scream. The doctors quickly diagnosed it as Baby Blues and said within a couple of weeks she would be over it, if not there was a chance it could develop into post partum depression. Keema loved her child to no end. She would give her life for her baby. However, her fears of not being a good mother or even being a disappointment to her son as her mother was to her scared her. Jah was a great father. He held it down for Keema. He woke up with the baby in the middle of the night, changed his diapers and fed him. And gave baby Jah the love and attention a baby needed.
Keema stood in the doorway of the nursery watching Jah feed their son. She watched how gentle Jah was with him and how he took to Jah. The baby lay up against Jah’s bare strong chest so that he would know his father’s scent and feel his heartbeat, as Jah rocked him back to sleep. Keema just couldn’t figure why she didn’t feel she had the same connection with her son. Jah looked over at Keema, “Meema you want to hold lil man?” Keema didn’t answer verbally she just shook her head no backing away from the door. Keema caught the look of hurt on Jah’s face when she refused to hold their son. As Keema watched Jah and her son from afar she knew she needed to get ahold of this shit and quick. Jah was a good man and her baby was every bit of perfect, she didn’t want to end up losing them because they were her world.
Lucky was the best though; her and Jah shared Baby Jah and managed alternate schedules as if they were the parents of Baby Jah. If Jah was going to be out on business he would leave the baby with Lucky and Los. Or Lucky would keep Baby Jah during the day while Keema rested and drop him off in the evenings when Jah turned in for the night. This went on for a little over a month.
One night as Keema lay in bed she heard the soft whimpering of her son on the baby monitor. As his cries started to get louder she looked over at Jah expecting him to shoot up out of his sleep like he always did, instead he didn’t flinch. Keema knew that Jah must’ve been dog tired because any other time the slightest whimper from their baby would wake Jah out of his sleep. Lucky had dropped the baby off hours ago. Jah had fed him, changed his clothing and pamper then put him to bed. Keema looked over at Jah as the cries started to get louder. Part of Keema wanted to lay in bed and pretend sleeping and try to wait it out until Jah woke up. Another part of her heard her baby crying and wanted to go to his aid. Keema rose from the bed slowly and walked into his nursery. She stood over his crib staring down at Baby Jah. He had already managed to kick his little bootie off of his foot and twist his baby cap half way off of his head. Keema watched him cry helplessly as tears fell from her own eyes. She was so afraid of rejection. Afraid of picking him up and feeling rejected if the baby didn’t take to her as she felt he did everyone else.
Keema took a deep breath reached in and picked him up gently. She gazed at her beautiful son as he sucked on his balled up fist. The baby calmed down on contact as Keema placed him up against her chest and rocked him. The baby must’ve picked up her motherly scent immediately; because he started to turn his head towards her breast suckle and cry. Keema breast fed him for the very first time. She watched her son’s chubby little cheeks move as he suckled feverishly. “I love you so much. You’re the best part of me.” Keema whispered as she ran her fingers through her son’s full head of hair. Jah watched Keema from the doorway. When he walked in on this scene he knew Keema would be just fine. Jah knew from the beginning she would be able to kick this depression shit. Keema was way too headstrong of a person to ever let depression or anything else keep her down. Jah walked into the nursery and wrapped his arms around Keema as she held their son. He placed his lips on Keema’s forehead and said “I love you and you’re the best part of me.” Keema looked up at him and tongued him down. All she knew is that life could not get any better than what it was right now.
Weeks later, Keema had just come from the fully equipped gym in her building feeling exhausted. She had lost just about all her baby weight all except for the last 10 pounds. She knew her eating had picked up but that was expected with the amount of cardio she did she anticipated her appetite to pick up. Dr. Lynn had already explained to her that she would still have pregnancy cravings until her hormones went back to normal. Jah on the other hand was more than happy with Keema’s post pregnancy body. She was a little thicker in all the right places in his opinion and he told her to keep it right there, she didn’t have to lose not one more pound. But Keema was determined to get her body back dead right. She stripped down out of her sweaty work out clothing to shower. Cathy had the baby and Keema looked forward to having the night alone with Jah. Keema was so fortunate to have the type of support system she had. Even though both Jah and her own mother had passed away Cathy and Tina had stepped up to take that Grandmother role for Baby Jah and they took that role very seriously especially, Cathy.
Keema stood there in front of the full length mirror examining her body. She turned to the side and as if she had an epiphany a thought came to mind. Oh my god. Hell no! The expression of fright and shock took over her pretty face. Please don’t make this be true. Keema had a sickening feeling take over her. She dressed and ran down to the nearest pharmacy which was a block from her apartment.
The outcome was exactly what she feared as she stared at the positive pregnancy test. Yes she was pregnant once again after giving birth not even four months prior. Keema was shocked beyond belief. Is this even medically possible? She knew exactly when this happened. Against doctors orders to wait 6 weeks her and Jah had sex. It was Keema, she was feeling really emotional one night and she just needed to feel loved so badly so she initiated sex. Her and Jah made love, now she was pregnant and scared out of her mind. What would he say? What would people say? She was just getting used to life with the new addition and confident in her ability to be a good mother and now this. Keema was devastated she cried and took another test but the end result was the same she was pregnant.
Jah walked into the darkened Condo with roses. “Meema!” He looked around
for her then found her in the living room on the couch crying. He rushed over and kneeled down in front of her lifting her chin. “Keem what’s wrong?” Keema couldn’t even answer him, she started to cry harder. “What happened is it something wrong with the baby?” Jah asked with urgency. Keema shook her head no. “Yo Keem what’s wrong?” Jah asked in a stern tone now holding both sides of Keema’s face. Keema looked into his eyes. “Jah I’m pregnant.” Keema watched as Jah’s eyes bulged for a second then turned back to normal size, a slight smile spread across his face. “So what all the tears for ma?” “Jah we just had a baby. Baby Jah is not even 5 months old yet. I’m just getting confident in taking care of Baby Jah and now another baby, I don’t know if I can do this.” “Keem don’t you see how much love and support you got around you? You’re not doing it by yourself Keem. If we got to hire a nanny to help you out with the babies that’s what we’ll do. I mean…I’m not too keen on having strangers take care of my seeds but if it’s gonna make things easier that’s what we’ll do. You know the money ain’t an issue. It’ll be a’ight Keem.”
Keema didn’t seem convinced and silent tears kept falling from her face. Jah took Keema in his arms and held her as she cried. He knew Keema was probably just shocked and after getting over the initial shock things would be alright. “Jah can I be honest with you.” “Yeah what’s up Meema.” “I’m scared…I’m scared that I’ll be here pregnant fat and moody. And it’ll be pretty chicks out there bodies on point and you’ll move on me. I’m so insecure about that.” Keema laid all of her cards on the table in love there was no shame and that’s what she was feeling. Jah looked stunned but then he could see why she would think that. “Keem this don’t mean shit to you?” he asked raising his hand to show his wedding band. “I love you Keem. I would never disrespect you, or hurt you especially while your pregnant. With them other chicks, I mean, yeah they may look good but that’s just the physical. I’m off that. You got my mental, my spiritual and my heart, Keem trust me. Plus your beautiful when you knocked up, that’s why I’m always all over you,” Jah said kissing her on the neck. Keema giggled. “Come here.” he said hugging her up. Keema held onto Jah tight. “Yeah Keem you see ya boy a bad muthafucka, see how I seeded that ass up back to back,” Jah said cockily. Keema chuckled and rolled her eyes. “Oh boy, I see someone is really feelin they self.” “Yeah Keem you keep spitting them babies out, 2 down 4 more to go.” Jah said slapping Keema on her ass as she backed away. Keema sucked her teeth “Jah I keep telling you I’m not having no six kids.” She couldn’t understand Jah’s fascination with having 6 kids. “Baby, I wanna keep this between us for now.” Jah agreed he knew Keema probably needed time to come to terms with it herself. A pregnancy wasn’t anything you could keep a secret for too long anyways.
