“It felt real.” Carter said. “I don’t believe she was lying to us about how she felt. Just about her reasons for being here.”

“Well, we leave her alone until Sunday, and that gives us until then to decide what we’d do if she chose us, and what the fuck we’re going to do if she proceeds with the story bearing in mind we can’t compel her.”

Jayden looked around. “Any of the rest of you think what we are doing is wrong? Looking for one woman? Or is it what we believe in?”

“It’s what we believe in.” I said, and the others murmured their agreement.

“So, if she decides to run with the story, so be it. I’ll do an interview. I ain’t ashamed of who I am.”

“Damn straight.” I said, and we chinked glasses.

  Serena

It was written. I knew how I wanted my story to end. Now I just had to wait for Sunday…

  Chapter Twenty-Six

  Serena

With a large exhale I rang the doorbell of Flynn’s house. A member of staff greeted me showing me the family were indeed at home and everything was no doubt being catered. This was confirmed by someone offering me a glass of wine or water the moment I walked through to the patio.

Multiple sets of eyes watched me walk through. I headed straight for Flynn. It was his house, he could introduce me to everyone.

“Serena. Glad you could make it.” He smiled at me, but I noticed it didn’t reach his eyes. “Let me introduce you to everyone. This is my father, Saxton; and my mother, Lily. Then this is my stepmother, Carrie; and my Stepfather, Wes.”

I shook hands with everyone and exchanged pleasantries. Flynn was so like his mother. She was slim with dark hair and similar piercing eyes though hers were gray.

“Let me take you to meet all the other parents, Serena.” Lily said.

She steered me away and immediately began chatting. “I’ve heard so much about you, Serena. My son is very taken with you. All the boys are.”

I stared at her. “I like them very much too.”

“That’s what I like to hear.” She said. “I would hate to have to drain you.”

My head snapped back around at her, my mouth open.

“I’m just kidding, Serena. Oh my God, your face. Sorry. I couldn’t resist. We don’t do that, honestly.”

“What have you done to the poor girl, Lily? She’s white as a ghost.”

“I went too far with my jokes as per usual. How Flynn came out as cool and collected as he did I have no idea. His father is so passionate and I’m so impulsive.”

I wanted to say he’d inherited the passion from his father but didn’t really feel like talking about her son’s prowess.

I was introduced to Smith’s father, Jayden’s parents, and Carter’s parents. It was strange meeting them in real life after seeing them in magazines.

Introductions over, there was nothing but polite chit chat and I began to relax. Until Smith shouted over from the staircase.

“Oh, Serena. I thought you might like to meet my biological mother. After all you’ve been very interested in my parentage. It seems she's been keeping secrets from us both.”

The room went quiet and my eyes focused on the woman walking down the staircase.

  Morgan.

  My boss.

“Hello, Serena, darling.” Morgan air-kissed my cheeks. “You’re looking pale.” She whispered over to me. “They’re not taking too much are they when they nip?”

  “I- I don’t understand?”

“Oh Serena. I’ve been running Revealed for years. The anonymity of our identities not being revealed means no one ever has to question the fact I’m not aging. But now you’ve seen me as you know me, let me just take away my glamor. Her hair changed from its short red pixie crop to a medium length platinum blonde bob.

“If you haven’t worked it out yet, Morgan is my older sister.” Linda explained. “She was born Ellen, but our mother never really liked that name so we all called her by her middle name instead.”

“Your mom had two children?” I queried, knowing what I did about vampire fertility.

“Yes. She was extremely fortunate. There aren’t many who get to carry more than one child.”

My brows creased. “So why does no one know you’re Smith’s mom?”

Morgan rolled her eyes. “Because I never wanted to be a mother in the traditional sense of the word. I love my son but I didn't want to spend my time changing diapers and making baby talk. I like my career and traveling around the world. Bill and I agreed that we’d say he was born to a surrogate officially, then the press wouldn’t hound me forever, portraying me as a terrible mother. I was fortunate that Bill was a fantastic father. Anyhow, I've worked in magazines for years and I hate those gossip mags that have no evidence, so I decided to run one that did. I've ruined many an enemies life doing so. It's such fun.”

"Yeah, now I know why we've never appeared in it. The last I knew you were working for Glamour." Smith said.

"Yes, well now I just do them, not work for them. I so prefer being my own boss." She reached up and patted Smith on the cheek, turning toward me. "I know I'll never win mother of the year but my son means a lot to me."

I grabbed a glass of wine from a passing waiter. The need to drink was very real.

"So why send me to investigate a story on your son and his friends?" I bit my bottom lip.

“When Leonie came in with her story, well, I decided I’d send you to look into it. I knew the boys were looking for love and I decided to try my hand at matchmaking. You see, Serena, I’ve done my own investigating, my darling, and your birth mother was a succubus. That’s why you like sex so much. It’s in your genes. It’s also why you can’t be compelled, because although weaker, that gene runs through your blood attracting males toward you.”

"Is that why I found her so easy to talk to?" Carter asked. "That would make sense as to why we seemed to tell her everything despite having only just met her."

"Yes, it's one of the reasons she's so good at her job. Without knowing it, she's using her own kind of compulsion, although like I said, it's a lot weaker in Serena. She's not a succubus herself."

I drained the glass, but it was no good. The shock had run down into my legs causing them to crumple beneath me. I hit the ground, and it all went black.

“Mother, do you always have to be so goddamn dramatic? Look what you did.”

  “She needed to know, darling.”

“Oh, hey, Serena. You’re part succubus, honey. Subtle.”

  My eyes fluttered open.

  “What, what happened?”

“You fainted, lovely. Stay where you are. Have you had much to eat today?”

  “I haven’t had anything,” I admitted.

“Well then there’s no wonder you hit the deck so fast. Let’s get lunch served, shall we?”

Smith brought me a plate of food and I tucked into it eagerly. The day was certainly turning into one of shocks and surprises. I presumed now that the story of me and the filthy rich playboys wasn’t even a real story, but one fabricated by a meddling mother who thought I might be a match for her son and his friends. How right she’d been. Now I had to get my head around the fact I was part-succubus? My next job would be to look into my own past, to see if I could find out anything more about my birth mom.

I felt so much better after I’d eaten, back to my old self, and I waited, ready, for one of the boys to ask me what my decision was.

Really, I should have known the reality would be far more dramatic.

“So, Serena.” Morgan’s voice bellowed out over the patio. “Have you got a moment?”

I slowly got up from my seat and wandered over to where everyone else, other than myself and Smith were gathered. Smith followed behind me.

Morgan stood tall facing me, the rest of them were also looking my way. “So your deadline is today, Serena. Which is it? Our sons, or the story?”

After staring at her for a minute, trying to hold in my annoyance at the
dramatic way this was being handled, I went into my bag, extracted my typewritten article and handed it to her.

  Complete silence descended.

“This is not what I expected, Serena, to be honest with you.”

I tilted my chin up at her. “Read it.” I said. “Out loud.”

  Chapter Twenty-seven

The real story behind the Filthy Rich Playboys of Carbon Beach.

We’ve all heard the rumors about the men they call the Filthy Rich and Playboys, the FRAP boys. They stalk women like prey, seduce them, and then spit them out like last week’s moldy leftovers. I went undercover to Carbon Beach to find out for myself. Posing as a Conference and Events Organizer at the Malibu Dream, I entered the world of the elite—the filthy rich. A place where money is no object, something I discovered when I attended a party at one of the homes to find Cayla Quick singing on the patio. It wasn’t even a birthday party!

Before long I’d met the men themselves. Carter Cole introduced himself at Waves cafe down at Surfrider Beach. My first thoughts when he told me he didn’t work were that his existence was a waste of a body. Until I watched him ride the waves. Carter does this for fun, but he also teaches other people without even realizing it. He’s so at home on the beach, more so than in his parents’ home on the Billionaire’s Beach.

Flynn Kelly was next. I met him when he was asked to take photographs of the hotel. The cool and collected Flynn actually has passionate depths beneath that piercing gaze and a true talent at photography that I’m sure we haven’t seen the last of.

I met Smith Henderson at the Dream’s Spa and he was every bit as flirtatious and naughty as you’d expect him to be. With Smith what you see is what you get, and he makes no allowances for it although he does owe the Dream some new Spa staff after seducing half of them…

Finally I had the pleasure of Jayden Bryant’s company at a party held in one of the beach front homes on Carbon Beach. Outwardly as much of a party boy as Smith, inwardly Jayden hides a sensitive soul, just waiting for the right woman to coax that side of him out.

It isn’t until the four of them get together that you see the true story of them all.

They are brothers. Not by biology, but by friendship. A friendship borne of spending all their lives together due to the close bond of their parents. They have each other’s backs and in a world like the fake facade of Malibu, that’s not something you turn your back on.

So after dating disaster after dating disaster—the only successful relationship having been Flynn’s five year relationship with actress Rose O’Hara, (which ended amicably)—they decided, maybe, what they needed was one woman. One between them all. A woman who would accept them for who they were, and equally be worshiped in return.

My investigation led me to laugh at the very idea. The filthy rich really did believe they could have everything. When money is no object and you’ve been brought up with everything your heart desires, when does common sense prevail? The chances of being able to share one woman were low to say the least.

They'd attempted to date the same women, but without success. One woman had come to us at Revealed to tell us her horror at being judged by the FRAP boys.

That’s when I decided I would play their game, I would investigate, and I would expose them for everything they were.

What happened? The impossible. I fell for all four of them.

Yes, fell. As in fell in love.

I discovered that they all had their faults, but no different to anyone else’s. Yes, Smith had treated a woman badly, but it was while he was in the depths of his alcohol problems. Maybe soon he could contact the woman he hurt and apologize? Every one of them was just so very human, infallible, imperfect.

I didn’t believe in instalove but I have no other words to define what has happened as I’ve spent time with the four of them. I barely know them, but I love what I DO know about them and I want to learn more.

When I started my investigation, I didn’t realize I’d end up being that woman—the one they chose to spend their life with. I still don’t know whether I will be. That’s down to the four of them, fate, and time itself.

But whatever comes next that’s me signing out of my role here at Revealed because I’ve not only fallen head over heels for these men, I’ve fallen for the surf, the beaches, the Bu.

I’m not returning to city life. I’m staying here, being reborn.

Regards, The Filthy Rich Playboys' Woman (TM).

There was a marked silence as Morgan finished reading the piece.

“You can use it or not. I don’t care.” I told her.

She ripped it up and dumped the remains in the swimming pool where they floated around. “Morgan! Couldn’t you just use a trashcan like a normal person?” Flynn’s stepmom complained.

“Wouldn’t have the same impact now, would it, Carrie? Just charge the pool cleaning to me if you’re short on funds.”

  They both burst into laughter.

The four men walked over to me and gathered around.

“Do you mean it?” Carter asked.

I put my hands across my chest. “I wouldn’t have said so if I didn’t.”

“Ooh that sass. Let’s spank it out of her later,” Smith said quietly.

  We all smiled.

“I have an announcement before I leave.” Bill said loudly, and everyone turned to him. “Smith, my son. I won’t be returning to Carbon Beach. I’m signing over my house to you and I’m retiring to my island. You are of course welcome to visit any time you like.” He walked over and hugged his son. “Feel free to make any renovations you feel necessary.”

“Thanks, Dad. I have a feeling the house won’t be the only thing changing. It’s time I became a bit more responsible for my actions." He looked over at me. "You can arrange a meeting with Leonie.” He said. “My apology is well overdue.”

All the parents left with talk of future soirees. The staff cleaned up and departed too and that just left me and my Filthy Rich Playboys.

“So, I have to ask. Are you willing to be turned?” Flynn said.

“Yes. It’s the only way I’m going to keep up with you all, and that’s definitely my intention. I am part succubus after all.”

“That must be quite a shock?” Jayden asked.

I nodded. “It is, in that it's more supernatural stuff to get my head around; things I didn’t know existed. But I have always loved lots of sex, so it kind of makes me feel like I discovered a piece of myself.”

Smith lifted up my skirt. “I’ve discovered a piece of you too. Come on, it's time to play. We'll be gentle with you… for now…"

  CHAPTER ONE

  Tiffany

Monday evenings were girls night in our apartment in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn. All three of us worked as realtors for a Brooklyn Real Estate company and we worked damn hard. So Mondays were downtime, complete with pizza and beer. There was me, Kayla and Haley. Our Monday nights were for sharing stories about work and to catch up on our—currently nightmarish—love lives. None of us were having much luck on the romantic front.

“Please can we not watch a movie with a sexy leading man tonight, because I swear my pussy will combust and it won’t be a pretty sight,” Kayla moaned. At twenty-four Kayla was tall and slim, with pale skin and long wavy red hair. She was stunning but attracted to men who were dicks. She hadn’t had a date for at least two weeks and it was killing her.

  “That bad, huh?” I asked.

“Yeah, I might go visit Daniel. While I’m there, I can see if there are any hot men currently hanging around Long Island.” Kayla’s stepfather lived on Long Island. Her mot
her—a serial cheater—had moved on long ago and had lost touch with her daughter. Kayla hadn’t stayed at Daniel Scott’s much, but out of all her many stepfathers’ he had been the only one to be a pretty decent man and he had always said there was a room for her at his home, even after her mother’s departure. She visited rarely, but felt she owed it to him to check in. Guilt from her mother screwing him out of a lot of his cash no doubt.

“Well, I have a date tomorrow night. I think this might be the one,” Haley said.

Kayla and I groaned simultaneously. Haley was a born romantic and every date she had, she thought would be her Prince Charming. Instead they ended up being the Princes’ of Darkness. Petite, with long straight dark brown hair, and an ass a Kardashian would envy, Haley was soft spoken and quite innocent. She’d only had one lover—a long term sweetheart—and when he had left her after college she had been devastated. She had felt he was her one, and we were sure she believed that one day he would actually come back for her.

“God, dating sucks,” I proclaimed. “I had another loser send me a message through the company email today.”

“Ugh, creep.” Kayla said with a smirk on her face.

It happened a lot at Green's Real Estate. Our photographs were on the web page under Agents, along with our direct line and email address. Usually, it was a breathy phone call asking whether I was wearing panties, but today’s had been an actual email.

I brought it up on my cell. “Listen to this,” I told my friends, then began to read it out loud.

  Tiffany,

Is this really you on your photograph? I guess I’ll have to find out by meeting you. Right now, I’m looking at this headshot with my ten inch dick in my hand. I’m imagining that my other hand is fisting your shoulder length blond hair, dragging your head downward toward my cock. Those green eyes are wide and begging for me to open your pouting lips and fill you with my girth. Your pink gloss is smeared over my cock while I push myself in and out of your hot mouth. You might try to hide your breasts under that baggy top but I can tell you have huge tits begging for release. I’m going to suck on your nipples and then I’m going to stick my cock between those creamy mountains and fuck them until I come all over your face, your smeared pink gloss mixed with my creamy cum.
