"We'd better not be seen together, seeing as you're a detective. I'll go first."

  "OK. When's your next sitting?"

"I'm seeing Mrs Hunter tomorrow afternoon. I'll tell you about it tomorrow evening."

  "OK, and thanks, Suzie."

"Thank you, Chris!" I beamed, rising to my feet and tugging my skirt down to conceal my satisfied cunt. "See you tomorrow!" I called, making my way through the undergrowth.

Reaching home, my juices of lechery flooding out of my hot cunt and coursing down my legs, I let myself in to discover the phone ringing. Dashing into my studio and lifting the receiver, I instinctively knew that it was Tony. He'd whine and complain, ask questions, vent his suspicions... I wanted to tell him that the private detective had licked my cunt out and come in my mouth. No, perhaps not!

"Helen, where the hell have you been?" he asked angrily.

Enjoying sixty-nine in the woods. "Out for a walk, why?"

  "Christ, not again?"

  "Yes, again. How's Tokyo?"

"I don't want to be here. Listen, I've been speaking to Gary. He reckons that you have a child from a previous relationship."

  "A child?"

"Yes, a child. He also reckons that you were on the game."

  "What, prostitution?"

  "Yes."

"Where on earth is he getting all this rubbish from?"

  "From your sister."

"Bloody hell! Tony, get it into your thick head - I don't have a sister!"

"He's adamant that he met her. He went to our place and she answered the door and invited him in. Apparently, you were out at the time."

"This is ridiculous! He met a woman in our house while I was out?"

"Yes, and she told him all about you, your past."

"This is crazy! I haven't got a bloody sister, you know that!"

  "Who did he meet, then?"

"God knows who was in our house while I was out! He's obviously lying, Tony."

  "Why would he lie?"

"You'd better ask him that! Look, I'm going round to Gary's now to have this out with him. If there was a woman in the house, she wasn't my sister, and she shouldn't have been here. There are too many mysteries for my liking. I want to know what went on with this girl you allegedly fucked, why Gary says that he met my sister, why he's told you that I have a child, why he thinks I was a prostitute, why..."

"No, don't start questioning Gary. Look, I'll sort it out, OK?"

"No, it's not OK! If he's saying things about me, terrible lies, then I want to know why!"

"I know that you're having an affair with him, Helen."

  "My God, this gets worse!"

"Yes, it does. I also know that you've been having a lesbian relationship with a girl."

  "A les... which girl?"

"Your best friend, so I heard. It must be Laura."

"Laura? That takes the biscuit, it really does! Look, Tony, speak to me again when you've recovered from your mental breakdown."

"I'm not having a mental breakdown!"

  "Well, I am!"

"From the first time I went away, you changed, Helen."

  "Not that again!"

"Yes, that again. Listen to me for a moment. You started using expletives, you shaved your... you shaved yourself, you began painting filthy pictures, you..."

"OK, now you listen to me. I shaved because I read about it in a magazine, how it turns men on. I did it for you, Tony. I used expletives because you were pissing me off. And as for the paintings, it was Sheena's idea. There's a bloody good market for that kind of stuff."

  "Yes, but..."

"I haven't finished yet. It was your idea to have David do our garden. I didn't want it, but you persisted and finally convinced me that it was a good idea. Then you started complaining because he was here all the time! It's all down to you, Tony!"

  "Yes, I know, but..."

"We hardly knew Gary. Apart from going to a couple of his barbecues, we never saw him. You started chatting to him in the lane about David and the garden, and then you began going to his house for coffee and God knows what else. I had nothing to do with any of this, you brought David onto the scene, and Gary. And as for this rubbish about Laura and me having a lesbian relationship... I have never heard anything so ridiculous in all my life! I'm going round to see Gary now to get this sorted out once and for all. I'll speak to you later."

  "Helen, I..."

Hanging up, I wondered where this would all end. The lies, the deceit, the double bluffs, playing one off against the other - something had to snap! I still wasn't sure what my long-term plan was. I was convinced that I'd never be portrayed as the instigator of the rumours and lies, but I had to find a direction in life. A direction with Tony? I still didn't know. I realized that our relationship would never be the same now that I'd had cocks spunking in my mouth, my cunt, my bum, but... but what? I'd travelled so far down the path of sexual debauchery that I'd become lost.

I couldn't understand my transformation from a loving wife to a common whore. Why was I deliberately causing trouble, ensuring that suspicion centred on me? Psychologically, did I really want Tony to discover the dreadful truth? Was I pushing the game to the limit, over the limit, so Tony would eventually point the finger of blame at me? What had Tony done to deserve this? He didn't deserve a terrible woman like me!

But Tony had committed adultery; he wasn't the innocent, loving husband I'd thought him to be. Tony - even his name was beginning to annoy me, haunt me. What did I want from life? What did life want from me? What did Tony want from me? The phone rang. Who was it this time? I wondered as I lifted the receiver. More questions, more prying?

  "Helen, it's me."

"Who the hell's me?" I asked sarcastically, instantly recognizing Gary's voice.

  "Gary."

"Oh, the bastard who's told Tony everything about me, my past."

"I've phoned a dozen times, where the hell have you been?"

  "You sound like Tony."

  "I want your cunt."

  "You can't have it!"

"I haven't told Tony everything, Helen. There's something I have on you that... Well, let's just say that it will have you eating out of my trousers as and when I wish."

  "Go on," I sighed despairingly.

"The photographs I took of you have come out very well. Tony would be more than interested to learn that..."

  "Haven't you done enough damage?"

"I don't want to damage you, your marriage. All I want is for our arrangement to work out properly."

"We don't have an arrangement, Gary. I'm fixed up, I don't need you."

"But I need you, your cunt. I have a few people here for drinks and they need entertaining. Come over now and..."

  "No, I'm going to bed."

"I spoke to your sister again."

  "Jackie?"

"Yes. She told me one or two things about you that..."

"I'm not interested Gary." Lying bastard!

"Don't you want to know what she said?"

  "No."

  "Stephen Giles."

  "Who?" I gasped.

"Tony's managing director. She told me all about your escapade with him."

"I... I haven't had an escapade with him!" I cried, my heart banging hard against my chest as I wondered how the hell he knew about Stephen.

"Jackie told me that he cleavage fucked you, gave you a pearl necklace."

"Jackie doesn't know anything about Stephen." Jackie doesn't exist!

  "Really? Then how..."

"Gary, this game is getting out of hand. You couldn't have spoken to Jackie because... because she's gone away. Listen, we'd better talk."

"Unless you get your beautiful cunt round here now, the only talking will be me telling Tony about Stephen Giles fucking your cleavage the other day."

Replacing the phone as he hung up, I bit my lip. There was no way Gary could know about Stephen Giles, no way. But he did know! Had Gary seen us through the window? No, why on earth would he be spyin
g through the window at me? There again, knowing Gary, he'd... Grabbing the ringing phone, I was surprised to hear Chris's voice. There again, I suppose I wasn't that surprised. Nothing in life surprised me anymore!

"Is that Mrs Hunter?" he asked.

  "Er... yes, speaking."

"Sorry to ring during the evening. I was wondering whether you could fit me in for a portrait?"

Now what was he up to? "A portrait? Yes, yes of course."

"A friend recommended you. Er... I realize that it's getting late but, I'd like to come over and discuss it with you now - if you're free, that is?"

  "Yes, I suppose so."

"Good. I have your address; I'll be there in ten minutes or so."

"Yes, I'll look forward to meeting you."

Now what sort of mess was I plunging myself into? I wondered. The game was changing, the goal posts moving, and I didn't like it. Gary and his perverted friends would have to wait, threats or not. Helen Hunter meeting Chris the private detective was far more important than Gary and his bunch of sad perverts.

Dashing upstairs, I changed into Helen, praying that Chris wouldn't recognize my voice. Without my thick makeup, my ginger wig, I'd be safe enough. I'd put on a posh accent, change my mannerisms, gesticulate and... Helen and Suzie were worlds apart, chalk and cheese. Weren't they?

What with Gary knowing about Stephen and now Chris coming over, I was beginning to panic. I'd have to play it by ear, be careful of my every word, listen intently to his questions and think about the answers before blurting out mistakes. Adjudicating myself in the mirror, I was happy with Helen the artist, the faithful wife. Could I play any role? Yes, I imagined I could.

The front doorbell ringing as I descended the stairs in my navy-blue knee-length skirt and tailored white blouse, I took a deep breath. This was it, Helen's debut! Opening the door, I donned a sweet smile and introduced myself, holding my hand out and inviting him in.

"Hi, I'm Chris. I didn't want to trouble you during the evening," he began apologetically as I led him into the lounge. "It's just that I was in the area."

"It's no trouble," I replied, waving my hand at the sofa as I sat in the armchair. Did I come across as a woman who was not only having an affair with her neighbour, but her best girlfriend? "So, you'd like a portrait?"

"Yes, I would. It's for my wife, her birthday," he replied. I made a mental note that he was married. The information might well come in useful one day! "I hear you're good, very good. How long have you been painting?"

"Since I was a child," I smiled. The time had come to haul Jackie's skeleton out of the cupboard. Let the games commence! "My sister recognized my talent. She encouraged me to go to art college and..."

"Your sister?" He frowned as he sat on the sofa, confusion in his dark eyes.

"Yes, Jackie. She used to paint but..."

"I knew a girl called Jackie who used to paint," he said pensively, moving forward and perching himself on the edge of the sofa. "What's her surname?"

  "Moore, Jackie Moore."

  "What a coincidence!" he cried.

  "You know her?"

"Yes, unless there's another girl with the same name who used to..."

"There's no mistaking my sister. She's... she's somewhat common. I shouldn't really be telling you this but, she's rather tarty."

"That's the girl! My goodness! Where's she living now?"

"I'm not sure, she moves around a lot."

"Jackie Moore, good God! So, you're Helen Moore - as they say, it's a small world. How old's your child now? I remember Jackie saying that you..."

"Jackie always says too much. I don't have a great deal to do with her these days. To be honest, I try to keep her under wraps."

  "Oh, why's that?"

"It's a long story. Jackie... Jackie and I used to share a flat in London. I'd rather forget the past but she has this terrible knack of reminding people. I've moved on a long way since then. I'm so sorry, what was your name again?"

  "Chris."

"Oh yes, Chris. Have you known Jackie for long?"

"Yes, quite a while. You don't have a phone number, do you? I'd like to get in touch with her again."

"No, as I said, she moves around a lot."

"What about your parents, are they local? Perhaps I could leave my number with them and..."

"No, they split up years ago. My father lives in Africa and my mother's somewhere in America. I've lost contact with them."

  "Oh, that's a shame. I still can't get over it, Jackie's sister!"

"Yes, it's quite a coincidence. So, about the portrait..."

"Oh, yes, I almost forgot about that."

"My husband's working abroad at the moment which makes things... What I mean is, with Tony out of the way, I have plenty of time for my work so I can fit you in for the first sitting tomorrow, if that's convenient for you."

"Yes, that's fine. You must get lonely in this big house."

"I have my friends, and my work. I have a very good neighbour, too. Brian takes care of me while my husband's away."

  He frowned again. "Brian?"

  "My neighbour."

  "Oh, yes, I see."

"My husband's in Saudi Arabia at the moment, working for an oil company. The money's good but he's away a lot. Still, I have Brian."

  "Saudi Arabia?"

  "You seem surprised."

  "No, no it's just that..."

"Would you like to see some of my work?"

"Er... no, it's all right. Look, I'd better be going. It's been nice talking to you."

  "Tomorrow, about ten?"

  "Yes, ten o'clock."

"What do you do for a living?" I asked, showing him to the front door.

  "I'm an accountant."

"Oh, so's Brian," I smiled. "Well, until tomorrow."

  "Yes, until tomorrow."

I'd confused the private detective so much that he'd probably give up! What Tony would think, I had no idea. Brian, my neighbour, Jackie, my sister, my husband working for an oil company in Saudi Arabia... Tony would think that Chris had spoken to the wrong woman!

Slipping out into the front garden, undercover of the night, I rummaged around beneath the bush by the gatepost. Gary must have left the money there by now, I reflected, the pay off - the hush money. The brown package in my hand, I checked that the coast was clear before stealing back into the house. I'd done it! I reflected triumphantly, praying that Gary hadn't been lurking, spying, trying to discover the identity of the peeping Tom.

Pulling the notes out of the package, I counted out two thousand pounds - a nice little sum for making the odd phone call! Again wondering how Gary had discovered my escapade with Stephen Giles, I climbed the stairs to my bedroom and hid the cash behind the wardrobe. I'd have to confront Gary in the morning, come to some arrangement or other. Another arrangement? My plan was going terribly wrong. All Gary had had on me was untrue, but now?

I had too much on my mind, trying to keep track of the lies I'd told Chris and Tony. A good liar has to have a damned good memory. Was I becoming a compulsive liar? I imagined I was! I'd played the role of Helen the artistic wife, of Suzie the common tart, of Jackie my sister...

The game was becoming intense, I needed to rest, relax my brain in readiness for another day of lies and deceit. I needed to rest my body, my inflamed cunt, in readiness for another day of perverted sex. It was time for bed, I decided, checking my watch - ten-thirty, time for bed.

  Chapter Sixteen

I woke in the morning feeling elated, and wicked in the extreme! Naked, the gold chain around my neck fixed to the nipple rings, yanking my tits up, I bounded downstairs for breakfast. David was already in the garden, his muscles rippling as he worked, his shorts bulging with his manhood. He looked up and gazed longingly at me through the window, at my abused nipples, my shaved vaginal lips, my protruding inner petals. I didn't need spunk, I didn't need David - not yet. But I needed excitement, the excitement derived from my dangerous games, my wanton lies and deceit.

"What about the threesome?" David asked as he wandered towards the house and stood in the doorway.

"What about it?" I replied coolly.

"This evening, if it's OK with you, we'll come over and..."

"Maybe, maybe not," I smiled, my clitoris stirring at the thought of Lydia's tongue sweeping up my yawning sex valley.

His eyes focusing on my swelling cunt lips, he frowned. "What do you mean?"

"Exactly what I said, maybe, maybe not. After all, you both had your chance, and you didn't turn up."

"Yes but, that was because Lydia's mother came round. Anyway, we had a deal."

"Yes, the garden's coming on nicely; you're doing a fine job, David. Tony will be pleased."

"I know Tony will be pleased, but the idea was that I do days and days of work in return for..."

"Yes, yes I know. You'll have your threesome, don't worry. Right, I have things to do. Help yourself to beer, there's plenty in the fridge."

  "Are you going out?"

"Yes, I'm going into town. I have people to see, things to do..." I had Gary to see, to confront the bastard! "How is Lydia?"

  "Different, she's changed."

Haven't we all? "Perhaps she's in love," I grinned, my clitoris swelling as I again imagined her tongue sweeping up my moist sex valley, her slender fingers delving deep into my hot, wet cunt as I sucked the sperm from David's knob.

  "What do you mean?"

"In love, David. You have heard of love, haven't you?"

  "Yes, but who with?"

"Your guess is as good as mine. Perhaps she's in love with me - I mean, she does want a threesome, doesn't she? Enough talk of love, you have your work to get on with."

Watching David mooch off down the garden, I thought about strolling down the lane to the common. I might find a young man and allow him the pleasure of fucking my cunt, there again, I might not allow him. I might tease David, and then deny him sex. I might ring Laura, pretending to be the mysterious girl after her husband, cause her untold anxiety. There were so many games to play! Priorities, deal with Gary! The phone rang, disturbing my train of thought, my life.

"Hi, Tony!" I trilled in reply to his frosty voice. "How's Japan?" I asked. As if I cared!

"It stinks! Helen, I want some answers."
