Max held out an arm, inviting Larry to join in the group hug.
Larry leaned in and grinned. “Monroe’s the name — solving crimes is our game.”

The following day, Edwena’s brothers used their truck to pick up the Zucchini Sisters’ zucchini. Mr. Jordan had stashed it in a cold storage unit.
Grandpa Harry, Larry and Max popped some popcorn, then sat in front of their television set and watched the local news cover the Harvest Fair events. Zeeta and Zelda entered their zucchini in the competition and — for the tenth straight year — they won the blue ribbon!
Harry, Larry and Max cheered.
“Well done, boys,” said Harry. “Another case solved by the Monroe Detective Agency!”
