“Banjo?” She waved a hand in front of my face.

I blinked. Then started packing up our things. “The beach was a terrible idea. Get your stuff. Let’s go back to my place.”

  “What?”

“Seriously. It’s either that or I throw you down right here on the sand.”

A look of understanding dawned in her eyes and quickly became a full-blown smirk. “Nope. I want to swim.”

I groaned as she strutted down into the ocean, her pert ass fucking bitable in that damn bikini. I was an idiot. Seriously dumb. I’d known she probably had a smoking-hot body. I’d held her in my arms that night in the car. I’d seen her in tight clothes at school. But nothing had prepared me for Lacey in a bikini. All I could think about doing was ripping it off her.

She was at the water’s edge when I stopped thinking with my dick and let my brain issue the command to follow her. I raced across the sand, leaping over the ankle-deep water and then running through it until I was waist high. A wave, tiny compared to the ones the beach could produce at the right time of day, loomed, and I dove through it, welcoming the cold water. It was deeper on the other side, and I treaded water, watching Lacey’s more tentative approach to getting wet.

“Oh my God, it’s freezing!” she yelped when a wave splashed over her stomach.

“Come here, then.” I reached out a hand and grabbed her, pulling her into my arms. Her skin was pebbled with goosebumps, and her nipples stood out, pressing against the fabric of her swimsuit. I ran my hands up and down her arms, and over her back, my fingers slipping easily beneath the flimsy ties of her top. “I like this bikini,” I said into her ear. “Actually, I kind of fucking love it.”

She clung to me, wrapping her legs around my waist in the deeper water. With her mouth just below my ear, she whispered, “I thought you might.”

Swimming. Concentrate on swimming. We were still within view of the beach. And a lot of kids from school came down here on weekends. Kids from her old school, too. I didn’t want to out us. Not until Lacey was ready for that. And not until I’d worked out what the hell Colt’s problem was. It was keeping me up at night. I needed him to be on board with this. I didn’t want to have to choose between them. Colt was my brother. I’d be forced to choose him over a girl I barely knew. But the thought of letting Lacey go before I’d even really gotten to know her left me feeling oddly empty. She had me kind of smitten. Something I wasn’t used to being. It wasn’t often I wanted a girl for more than a night. But ever since that first day at her house, something about her captivated me. Every time we’d hung out since, I just fell further and further under her spell. I wanted to spend time with her. Get to know her. Peel back all her layers and dig beneath them to find out why I couldn’t get her out of my head. I wanted to know the mundane stuff. Her favorite color. If she liked Mexican food as much as I did. What sort of movies she watched. And then go deeper. I wanted to know what her childhood had been like. If she missed her birth parents. What her dreams were for after high school.

But I was also a guy. And there was a physical aspect to my attraction for her that yelled at me loud and clear. I wanted to plunge my dick between her legs. And having them wrapped around me right now was not helping. She put her arms around my neck, giving me the chance to run my hands up the sides of her body. Over the curve of her hips, over the sides of her tits. Her breath hitched when I flicked a thumb over her taut nipple.

“I like that,” she whispered. “But we aren’t far from the beach. Someone might see us.”

I nodded. I pried her hands from around my neck. “I can fix that. Come on.” I started swimming farther out, keeping an eye on the rocks to our right.

“Whoa, wait. Where are we going? There’s no lifeguards out here. We probably shouldn’t go too deep.”

“You’ll be okay, I promise. It’s not far.” I was normally on a board when I came out here, but that was with waves cresting around me. It was almost completely flat today.

She still looked a little doubtful, but she followed me anyway, with sure strokes, powering her through the water. I was a strong swimmer. You had to be when you surfed as much as I did. But my style was nonexistent. Hers was pristine. Born of years of swimming lessons in a fancy indoor pool, I’d bet. Not like me, who’d been tossed into the ocean as a toddler and never really taught proper strokes.

We swam together, and once we were far enough out, I led her toward the rocks.

“See that one there?” I called. “We need to get on it.”

She nodded, letting a small wave push her in the right direction. I paddled on the spot behind her, admiring her ass as she climbed carefully onto the rock, water sluicing over the firm cheeks of her behind. Fuck. I couldn’t wait to get this girl alone. There were so many things I wanted to do with her. I wanted to explore her body, slowly, carefully, on soft blankets, finding out what she liked until she screamed. And then there was a part of me who wanted her quick and dirty, wherever I could. That was the part of me that yelled the loudest.

I pulled myself up beside her on the rocks and grabbed her hand.

“Wow, I’ve been coming to this beach all my life, and I had no idea you could get around here.”

“Most people don’t,” I said, leading the way, walking carefully over the rocks, clutching her hand in mine in case she slipped. “Most people are too scared to swim out as far as we did, especially near rocks and away from the lifeguards. It’s a bit of a surfer’s secret. We’ve huddled in the caves up here when the surf gets too big to get back to shore.”

  “That sounds scary.”

I shook my head and glanced back at her over my shoulder. “It’s the best fun. It’s a rush. Everything about surfing is.”

  “You really love it, huh?”

I shrugged as we approached the mouth of the caves. “It’s probably the only good thing my parents ever did for me. I come out here and smell the salt in the air and let the roar of the ocean clear my head. Everything else just falls away. There’s no space for problems when you’re trying to catch a big wave, you know? It’s just me and my board and the water.”

We stepped inside and let our eyes adjust to the dimmer light.

She peered around at the large, mostly dry, space. “This is awesome. How far back does it go?”

“It’s pretty deep. We can go in farther.” I led her far enough that we were out of the wind that whipped the mouth, but I didn’t take her so far back we couldn’t still see the light of day. “Let’s not go any farther than this.”

  She pouted. “Why? Bats?”

“Might be, but they don’t bother me.” I gave her a wicked grin. “I just want to be able to see you when I strip you naked.”

  Lacey sucked in a breath.

I studied her reaction to determine whether she’d actually want me to do that. It was the entire reason I’d brought her here. Really, the cave wasn’t all that exciting. But it was private. Away from the squeals of children and school gossips. The surfers wouldn’t be around at this time of day. And all I wanted to do was get her out of that wet swimsuit.

I stepped in closer, giving her every chance to stop me. But she didn’t. My hand grazed her flat belly, and when she didn’t back off, I trailed one finger higher, to the tiny bit of string between the triangles of her top. I pulled it experimentally, letting it snap back against her skin. “Do you want that, princess? Do you want me to get you naked right now?”

She let out a shuddering breath that told me exactly how much she wanted it.

  “What if someone comes?”

I shook my head and slid one hand beneath a triangle, cupping her tit. A perfect, high, tight handful. Two fingers found her nipple and squeezed. She whimpered.

“Isn’t that part of the fun? Doesn’t it turn you on, thinking about being naked in here, my tongue all over your body while someone could walk in at any moment?”

Her breathing became ragged. I took my hand away from her nipple, and instead brought her into my arms, and r
an my nose up her neck until my lips brushed over her earlobe. “I’m going to take the way you’re pressing against me right now as a yes, princess.”

I undid the string at her back and then the one at her neck in quick succession. One flick of my wrist left her standing there in front of me, in nothing but that tiny white thong. I couldn’t wait any longer to kiss her. I dipped my head and claimed her mouth. She moaned loudly, telling me exactly how turned on she was. I grabbed two handfuls of her boobs, groping them while our tongues delved deep into each other’s mouths. Her hands traced over my skin, brushing water droplets from my shoulders, my pecs, my abs.

Two ties at her hips were all that were keeping me from seeing her completely naked for the first time. I pulled away from her mouth and stepped back just far enough that I could see her face as I did it.

  One string…two…

She moaned as the material fell to the floor.

My dick swelled beneath my swim shorts. Fuck, I could come just staring at her. She was a stunner. Long legs that led to a sweet, completely bare pussy.

“Banjo,” she whispered. She reached for me, but I stopped her.

“Wait. I just want to drink you in for a moment.”

Pink swept her cheeks. I couldn’t stop staring at her. Slowly, I walked in a circle around her, raking my gaze over every inch of her flesh. Once we stood face-to-face again, she bit her lip.

I popped it free from her teeth. “Stop it.”

  “What?” she whispered.

“You wear your heart on your sleeve, princess. And it makes it real easy to know what you’re thinking. So stop it.”

“Stop wearing my heart on my sleeve?”

“Stop wondering if I find your body attractive.”

  “You didn’t say anything…”

“I don’t need to. I’m going to show you instead.”

I dropped my head to her neck and kissed and sucked a trail down her skin to the swells of her breasts. Taking one in my hand, the other in my mouth, I was rewarded with the sweetest “oh,” I’d ever heard in my life.

I drew her nipple into my mouth, rolling over it with my tongue, until she grabbed the back of my head, spearing her fingers into my hair.

Then I dropped to my knees and placed a chaste kiss to her belly button, then another to the lower part of her stomach. Her breath hitched, and I kissed her bare mound.

“Fuck, I want you,” I murmured. “I’m so hard.”

She moaned louder. I loved how she reacted when I got dirty with her. And I could get dirty all day long. I was a pro at it.

I ran my hand up her thighs, urging her legs apart, and glanced up as I took my first taste of her.

Her mouth dropped open, and her eyes widened. “Oh God,” she whispered. “Banjo. We can’t. What if someone comes in?”

“Then they can walk right back out, because you taste too good to stop.”

And she did. Fuck me, nothing had ever tasted sweeter than having my tongue between Lacey Knight’s creamy white thighs. I plowed my tongue between her pussy lips, finding her nub and teasing it until her legs shook.

“Get down here,” I encouraged. The floor of the cave wasn’t particularly comfortable, with only a thin layer of sand covering the rock, but I didn’t think either of us cared in that moment. She sat, and for half a second, we just stared at each other.

“I’m not done with you,” I warned her. I knew she didn’t have much experience, and I was in my element when I was in control. “Sit back. Lean on your hands.”

She did. Those gorgeous fucking tits pointed right at me, but I didn’t let my gaze linger long. I pushed her knees apart and went right back to sucking her pussy.

Her fingers gripped my hair, pulling it, pushing me away, then dragging me back like she didn’t know whether it was all too much or all too good.

I was about to make it so much better.

I shoved two fingers in my mouth, licking them free of sand and salt before I ran them over her center, coating them in her own arousal. And then nudged them inside her.

A full body shiver ran through her. Fuck, she was wet. So wet. I worked her clit with my tongue and let her grind down on my fingers.

Her hips rolled, and she found a rhythm that I matched, working her higher and higher. Her head dropped back, her hair, wet with salty sea water, fell loose down her back, and it was the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen. She was all laid out like some sort of siren. The way she took my fingers made me wish I had a condom. I wanted her to come around my cock. I wanted to feel her pulse and contract around me.

  I could be patient.

But she couldn’t. Not when she was this close to orgasm.

She reached up to pinch her own nipple, surprising me by the bold move. And then I wondered why. She might not have had much experience. But nothing about Lacey was timid. Hell, she’d gone eye to eye with Colt, and even I wouldn’t want to do that. She’d taken Gillian’s insults in stride.

I liked her all the more for it.

  “Banjo,” she moaned.

“I got you, princess. I know what you need.” I picked up the pace. Pumping my fingers in and out of her, ignoring my cock that screamed to get in on the action. I sucked her clit again, over and over until she cried out.

  “Oh God!”

Her cries echoed around us, bouncing off the walls.

Her pussy clamped down on my fingers, her body spasming with her orgasm. She moaned again, long and loud, and I worked her through it until her hips slowed and her moans became whimpers.

I found her mouth and kissed her. This time, it was slow and sweet, but damn, I so badly wanted to fuck her. She looked up at me through hazy, satisfied eyes. And then laughed.

It was infectious. I grinned back at her. “What?”

She shook her head, sitting up. “I can’t believe I just let you do that. I wouldn’t have even known if someone had walked in. I kept trying to look over your shoulder and be quiet so we’d hear if people were coming…”

“The only one coming around here was you.”

  “Smug much?”

I nodded. “Completely. But we should probably get back before the tide gets high or that wind picks up any more.”

She stood, picking up her bikini, and I watched as she tied it back on, already planning how I could get it off her again. Maybe I could take her back to my house. Or we could go somewhere and make out in the back of the car. Or even better, in hers, with the top down, since she seemed to get off on public displays.

At the mouth of the cave, she nudged me with her elbow. “Guess what?”

  “What?”

“I’m not the only one who has their thoughts written all over their face. And judging by yours, your mind is a dirty place to be.” She grinned at me. She leaned in, brushing her lips over mine. “I like it.” Then she dove into the water.

Fuck. Maybe she really was a siren. Because I followed her without another thought.

  Lacey

What the hell was I doing? That was all I could think of as I swam back to the beach with Banjo right beside me. Who the hell was that girl, brazen enough to let a guy take off her bikini and go down on her, when any number of people could walk in at any minute? That wasn’t me. That was something Meredith would do. She’d die when I told her about this.

And when I told her about what I’d done with him during the week…not to mention what I’d done with Rafe…

Damn. Meredith was going to have a stroke. I’d have to make sure there was medical help nearby when I confessed.

But you couldn’t keep the smile off my face. Life at Saint View High? Not so shabby. If I ignored all the drama with Gillian and Colt, that was. And their mildly threatening ‘suggestions’ to leave school.

  Whatever.

We made it back to the beach and jogged from the water. I was surprised to find we’d lost almost two hours, between swimming and, well…other things. My stomach roared in protest.

  “Whoa. Orgas
ms give you an appetite, huh?” Banjo joked, flopping down on the sand where we’d left our towels and bags.

I wrapped a towel around myself before sitting next to him. “Apparently. I’m starving.”

  “Good. Because I brought food.”

“You did?” I was surprised. Banjo didn’t seem like the type who thought very far ahead. Yet, when he unzipped his backpack, he pulled out sandwiches, drinks, fruit, and cookies. He’d even put in ice packs to keep everything cold. “You packed a picnic? How cute are you?”

He chuckled, the sound deep and delicious. Toe-curling. Just like everything he did. “Glad you think so. My brother gave me a hard time.”

“I love it. Your brother obviously doesn’t know how to win my heart.”

Banjo went quiet. “Is that what I’m doing?”

A familiar voice calling me from down the beach saved me from having to answer Banjo’s question. I thanked my lucky stars, because he’d caught me completely off guard, and I had absolutely no idea how to answer him. So instead of ignoring Meredith calling my name, I took the coward’s way out and scrambled to my feet, brushing sand from the back of my towel.

Meredith stood just a few feet away, in a one-piece swimsuit that had so many cutouts it showed more skin than my bikini. Owen stood beside her, toned, tall, and handsome in a pair of swim trunks. I knew him from Edgely parties. He was a nice guy. Sweet. Charming. Not at all my type, or Meredith’s, though the three of us hung out sometimes. He’d been good to me during my uncle’s funeral, but I hadn’t heard from him since. I hadn’t thought anything of it. It wasn’t uncommon for us to go weeks without talking. So I was a little surprised to see him with Meredith, but hey, maybe I’d missed something. I felt like I’d barely spoken to Meredith since I’d started at Saint View.

“Hey, you,” I greeted. I gave Meredith a hug and then smiled at Owen. To my surprise, he stepped in for a hug, opening his arms and putting them around me. I hugged him back, a little awkwardly.

I motioned Banjo over. He stood slowly, gaze trained on Meredith and Owen as he strolled across the beach. His lazy gait said he didn’t have a care in the world, but something seemed off to me. He had a sudden tension to his shoulders that hadn’t been there a moment ago.
