"Don't shit in my plane." I pry her grip off my arm. "I'm tired as hell and know I won't be up at six to hit these fields, so..." I look around, making sure Brandt brought the tractors in. "Here we go."

After a few runs and thoroughly explaining the process to overly curious Carter Dawn, I head for the tarmac, beat, horny, and needing a drink to help me sleep. Getting my baby inside the hangar, I look over at the jet and sigh. Affton's gonna kill me if I leave it out, but I need to sneak this girl into that house with no pants on.

"So." I stare at her legs, wanting to run my tongue over them. "I'll go slow, but this might hurt." I walk her toward the four wheeler, too tired to walk back to the house and I don't think she'd let me drag her through the woods without pants on. "Just make sure you hold on." I climb on.

"You expect me to straddle that thing without pants on? Have you seen this underwear? There's no barrier! I'm going to get mud and insects in places that... No. That's not happening."

I stare at her a minute, too tired to fight with this girl. "Alright." Grabbing her hips, I yank her toward me, making her straddle me before she can fight away. Her hands are on my bare chest and the look on her face tells me I'm about to get stabbed in the dick. "This better, high maintenance?"

Her eyes narrow at me. "I'm not high maintenance," she growls, pushing off my lap and straddling the seat behind me. "I'm just not backwoods like most girls you know."

"Nope, you're not. You're just like all the bitches I've been fucking for the past year." I sigh and take off faster than I originally planned but I need to get this girl indoors and the fuck away from me. Her nails dig into my stomach as she holds tight. We pull up to the yard and I turn off the four wheeler. "We have to go in the side door through the garage. No one will see you. You staying in a particular room?" I pull her into the shadows of the yard.

"Yes. Main level." She stays one step behind me. "Not far enough away from Affton and Tommy's room, though." She laughs. "Rabbits don't even fuck that much. God."

"You three ever..?" I glance back at her.

"Ever what?" She has that look on her face like she's confused as hell and that's my answer.

"Nothin'." I smirk and unlock the side door, getting us into the garage. "Before I get you tucked in, you sure you don't want to climb Jacob's ladder?"

She moans. "Tempting." When we make it to the door to the house, she pushes me against the wall and runs her nail down my cheek.

She's hot and cold. Mostly hot, but I have a feeling she's a handful. Wants to be compliant but doesn't know how to just let go. She had fun tonight when I took her flying. And I know she definitely had fun when I checked her for ticks, but she's got that attitude that pops up every now and then. There's a lot to learn about her, but I don't think I care enough to learn it. She was fun in the hangar. She's sexy as fuck and exactly what I like to fuck, but it might be a lot of work. I don't like to work for anything but my money.

"I think I'm good tonight." After slamming her lips to mine, she takes a step back, pushing open the door and shrugs. "I'll get the shirt back to you. I can make it from here."

I scrape my teeth over my bottom lip. "You do that, baby." I smirk, noticing Tommy out of the corner of my eye. "Have a good night, Carter Dawn." I laugh and head back through the garage, loving when I hear her yelp as she discovers he was standing right there. I bet she's as red in the cheeks as she'll be when she's choking on my dick one of these days.

Tommy's eyes go wide and his mouth flaps open like a cartoon character that has no words. I have no words. This was supposed to be the safe way!

"Tommy!" I immediately move to try to cover myself but it's no use.

His eyes are locked on the words on my shirt and he lets out a laugh that pisses me off.

"Well that was fast," he says, taking a swig of his beer.

"What the fuck are you doing in here?" I snap, trying to inch farther inside. I need to get to my room!

"I could probably ask you the same question but it seems I already know the answer." He nods at my legs. "Classic Grant, right?"

"Oh my god," I groan. "Please don't tell Affton. Please. She'll fire me, I'm sure of it. It... Tommy it was stupid and it's never happening again. Just please, please, please don't tell her." I realize after the fact that I'm gripping on to his shirt I'm begging him so hard.

He shakes his head and shrugs. "I like you, Carter. I think you're good for my girl, so I'll stay silent on this one." He takes a step back and nods to the door. "Just be careful."

"Thank you," I blurt, running to the hall as gracefully as I can with no pants, come stained underwear, and a shirt that says 'I Fuck Fat Chicks' on it. God, this is the worst walk of shame ever.

  ***

We leave tomorrow for a week in New York so tonight's being spent at the local bar. Apparently the only bar in town too, because everyone seems to be here. I tried staying home but Affton wasn't having it.

"I'm going to get another drink," I say over the noise then start to shove my way around people to head to the bar where Chase is working. "Hi," I say, smiling at him and tossing my card on the table. "Another beer please. And can you just start a tab?"

  "Sure thing."

As I'm waiting for him to slide my beer over a set of hands grab my waist, making me yelp. "Hey, what the f—" I spin and my words fall as I stare into Grant's smug-ass face. "What are you doing?" I hiss, smacking him back a step.

"What do people do at a bar?" He nods to Chase and holds up three fingers.

"Not grab stranger's asses," I blurt, snagging my beer. "Thank you, Chase." I go to push around Grant but his hand on my elbow stops me. It pisses me off that my body reacts to his touch this way. Almost like there's this electrical connection anywhere our skin touches, sending jolts straight to my pussy. Fuck, I hate this. I hate him!

"Oh, baby." He laughs and I want to slap the cocky look off that face. "We're not strangers. Two of those fingers were deep inside that pussy of yours. I'm pretty sure we know each other better than most people in here."

"Wow." I snicker, glancing around to make sure no one else heard it. "You have no filter, do you?" I pat his cheek and cock my head. "That's almost adorable. But please don't say shit like that with my boss so close by. Got it?" I smirk at him and bat my eyelashes before bringing my beer to my lips.

He laughs hard. "If you think Affton won't figure out it's your come on the floor of my hangar, you're mistaken. And I have to say." He reaches around me but keeps his foot trapping me so I can't walk away. "I've never had a girl embarrassed of me. Those Cali girls always got hang-ups about real men." Holding three shot glasses, he drinks one right after the other.

"I'm not like most of those bimbos," I snap. "Real men also aren't as crude as you are." I cock an eyebrow at him.

"I only speak the truth, and you like it. Did you want a shot?" He holds up three fingers again, gesturing to Chase then puts them in my face and lowers his index finger. "Remember these?" He wiggles them.

I don't want the tingle that's starting. And I don't want my heart to be racing like it is. Because he's infuriating.

"I will seriously break them off," I growl, snatching them and bending backwards. "Knock that shit off, Grant." I don't hate it, he's right., but I don't want...whatever it is he can offer. Not with him.

"So not only is your pussy tight but your attitude's uptight. Got it." He nods then grabs the shots. "I think I need these more than you." He takes all three shots again and I glare at him. "I bet it's gonna be a long night unless you're sliding under the table on your knees."

I chuckle and finally step around him, trying to ignore the comment. Maybe I can just ignore him tonight. That would be wonderful.

I make it back to our table and sit back in my spot, spinning my glass in front of me and chancing a glance over to where Grant was standing. He's still there watching me from across the bar.

"Am I uptight?" I blurt to Affton.

"Uh, what?" She laughs with furrowed brows and glances at
Tommy but he's distracted. "No. What's wrong?" She reaches across the table to squeeze my hand.

"So I'm not high maintenance and uptight? Maybe California ruined me." Maybe I should lay off the alcohol tonight.

"Hey, babe." She gets Tommy's attention. "Can you get us a couple shots please?" She smiles sweetly at him before he walks away. "Well... You're from California, so you think you were ruined from birth?" She laughs at me and lets go of my hand. "What's wrong? What brought this on? Someone fucking with you?"

My head shakes. "No." I finish off my beer and growl, standing up. "It's fine. I get emotional when I drink, it's fine." I'm not fucking uptight. "Hey, have you ever had a threesome? I haven't. Maybe I should. Get the stick out of my ass."

"Oh wow, darlin'." She laughs hard, throwing her head back. "I need some shots for this. Carter, spill it. What's got you so worked up?" She looks around like she's searching for the culprit.

"I haven't had sex in almost five months," I blurt, probably too loud. "I've listened to you and Tommy have sex for almost two of those months. My vibrator batteries are dead and for the life of me I can't figure out how this town has no decent cowboys available." I groan and sit back in my chair. "Sorry."

"Well, for starters, all the decent ones are taken. All the hot ones moved away. All the young ones are too young. And secondly." She grins at me, crinkling her nose. "You followed up the fact you listen to me and Tommy have sex with your vibe batteries died." With a knowing grin, she waits for me to admit what she's getting at.

I nod slowly. "Yep. I did." My glass meets my lips but it's gone again. "Can't blame a girl, honestly. It's better than porn noises."

She's laughing her ass off. "Between us, it's a huge turn on. That and people watching me fuck." She shudders then laughs hard. "If I thought you were into that kind of thing, I would have invited you into the bedroom once or twice. It doesn't happen often, but we..." She nods and gestures her hand, waiting for me to pick up on it.

"You..?" I grin. The random question Grant asked the other night is starting to make sense. "And you would have invited me?" God, tingly girl parts.

"I trust you. I've known you a long time and obviously I trust you enough if I moved you into our house. We like to have fun. Usually it's only with Grant, but I've been wanting to bring a girl into it for a while."

Tommy sets the shots on the table, but doesn't stick around, probably hearing what Affton just said. I take the drink and down it instantly. I need this, and by the looks of it, she does too because hers is going down the second I finish mine.

"Grant," I growl, shaking my head. She's fucked Grant? "How the hell do you put up with him? He's so...cocky." My eyebrows push together. "And stupid." And hot. So fucking hot. And I fucking hate it. "Wait, so you know about the pierc—" I stop in my tracks at the look she's giving me. "I just said too much, didn't I?"

"Oh no. No, no, no. Please say more. How do you know about his piercing?" Her eyebrow's cocked. "God, didn't you heed my warning?" she whines. "He is cocky and stupid!"

"Well don't worry. Nothing's going to happen between us." I let out a harsh laugh. "I'm too stuck up for his liking. Fucker. I have to pee then I'm getting another drink."

"Listen." She grabs my hand before I can walk away. "If I thought Grant was good enough for you, I would have set you two up. Believe me when I say there is no one in this town worth your time. We go to New York tomorrow. We'll find you at least one nice piece of ass." She smiles warmly, always trying to keep everyone happy.

"Good. I fucking need it." I grin at her. "I'll be back."

I push through the people and find the bathroom, trying not to cringe at the...decor. I wonder how long it's been since this bathroom's been cleaned. Well, I'll try not to wonder that while I'm pissing. It's a toilet. Not the nicest, but who cares. I'll show him who's stuck up. God, that man infuriates me.

When I swing open the door, on a mission for more alcohol and less thinking about Grant, he's leaning against the wall grinning at me like a damn wolf.

"You happen to see a brunette in there with her nipples hanging out of her shirt?" He glances around me before the door closes.

I huff. "Nope. But if I did I'd warn her away from you. And probably go buy her a bra."

"Uptight and catty." He nods before taking a drink of his beer. "You're a barrel of fun, Carter Dawn." Every time he says my full name that damn southern twang gets heavier and I can't say I hate it. "Maybe she ditched me." He shrugs then looks me over, head to toe. "I think this view is better anyway, even without nip-slip."

I shake my head at him and head toward our table, but he follows right on my heels. I can fucking smell him right now. How horrible is it that his cologne makes me want to rip his clothes off? Is it legal to duct tape someone's mouth shut in order to fuck them? I'd climb the ladder if he'd shut the fuck up for a few minutes.

"I'm not uptight," I blurt, spinning on him before we make it back to the table. "Sure, I'm catty. Sure I have an attitude to match but I'm not fucking uptight." I shove my finger in his chest and he smirks down at me.

"Being tight ain't all that bad." He smirks before looking at my finger. "I can show you with that finger what I mean. How many of your own fingers have you fit inside your pussy?"

My eyes go wide and I'm not sure if it's the look on his face that's telling me he expects me to slap him or the alcohol... "Three," I whisper, leaning in closer to his ear. "All the way in, baby." I trail my finger down his chest and wink at him, the look on his face is priceless.

"You're a dirty fucking girl, Carter Dawn."

"If you only knew, Grant Matthews." I go to spin but he grabs my wrist, stopping me.

"Stop fighting me and climb this ladder."

"Eh." I shrug and seeing Tommy approaching us, I yank my hand out of Grant's grasp, taking a step back.

"Matthews," Tommy says, walking up behind Grant and clasping his hand on his shoulder. "What the hell's up? You ready for a week in the big city?" Tommy's grinning from ear to ear and while he claims he never wants to leave the country this is his first big trip to what he calls the 'big city' and I think he's pretty excited for it.

"Same scenery, different day, man." Grant pulls his eyes from me and smiles at his friend. "Know what I mean? People everywhere. Snobs having a hard time letting loose." He shrugs before slapping Tommy's arm and heading for the bar.

"Is he always so negative?" I ask Tommy as we walk back to the table.

"Nah. He hasn't had a filter since we were kids though. And he doesn't need one, somehow he makes people like him."

"Yeah," I say, falling back into my seat next to Affton then groaning. "I forgot my beer!" I whine.

"Babe." Affton's staring at me with narrowed eyes but talking to Tommy. "Will you get Carter's beer? Unless...you want to go get it. I think I see Grant at the bar." Her eyes narrow even more.

"No," I blurt loud enough for Grant to turn and glance at our table. Hiding my head, I shake it. "No, Tommy's fine. Just... Chase knows what I've been drinking."

When Tommy walks away Affton sighs. "Carter." She's shaking her head and worry is all over her face. "I've known Grant practically my entire life. I love him to death and I see it all over your face. He infuriates you to no end but you can't wait for the angry sex. Then that'll turn into you wanting more. He's good in bed. I know! But don't let him lure you in then ruin you. You'll go running from here faster than you ran to your first paycheck." She smiles but it falls. "I don't want to lose you as a friend because of Grant."

I let out a laugh." You're not going to lose me as a friend because of him. I promise." I glance over to the bar and notice Tommy and Grant talking. "Hey, so you three have known each other pretty much your entire lives? Do the boys..." I make a face. "You know?"

"I don't know what you mean." She's laughing and leans closer. "What exactly are you asking?"

"Are they bi?" I can't stop the giggle that escapes at the picture in my head of the two boys going at it. What the hell is it about tw
o hot dudes fucking?

"Sadly no. Not yet at least. No kissing, or fucking, but a girl can dream." She starts to laugh so loud that Tommy and Grant look over at us.

"I'd pay to watch that," I say, laughing.

"What are we paying to watch?" Tommy asks, showing back up at the table with Grant right behind him.

"Nothing." Affton offers him a smile then pulls a stool closer to her. "Grant, sit down." The dangerous look on her face even scares me.

"I think I'm good." He lifts his beer.

"I said sit." Affton yanks him onto the stool then grips his arm and turns, whispering in his ear.

"You all packed and ready for the trip, Tommy?" I ask, attempting to make small talk while trying to figure out what she's whispering to Grant.

"Yep, all good to go!" Tommy glances over at the two of them and nudges Grant's chair. "Lay off the goods, bro," he blurts when he notices Grant getting closer to Affton.

"Good," I mumble, bringing my beer to my lips.

The bar crowd has thinned out a lot since we got here but it's still a good crowd for being as small as this town is. Everything was great until Grant sat his ass down at the table. Well, until he was forced to. Now all I can think about is his fingers inside me...and I fucking hate it.

When he leans into Affton's ear, she starts to laugh and I shake my head. He's too damn good at making people like him. Affton turns to Tommy and I plan on joining the conversation but Grant looks at me and smiles. God, he's pretty. But then he waves at me with two fingers and now I'm feeling violent again. Hot and cold. That's how I'm feeling for this man. One minute I want him dead and the next I want his dick buried so deep inside me I'm screaming his name.

"I think I'm done for the night," I say, downing the beer that was just brought out for me. Slamming the glass on the table I'm met with Affton's amused look and the two boys' appreciative nods.

"Beany, I think you've met your match in beer chuggers," Tommy says as he starts to chuckle.

"It was learn to keep up or lose out on the fun when I was growing up," I mutter, grinning. "Can we go?"
