The brown werewolves nod and some change into a wolf and run into the forest, while the others run towards Brown’s Creek. “Everyone, go help the brown werewolves and look for Vanessa,” Daniel says.

“That also goes for the gray werewolves, help them,” Danny says.

The shadow werewolves and the gray werewolves then run off as well. Daniel and Danny walk up to Cole and Daniel asks, “What happened? Who took her?”

“I don’t know. Sparks, who is a friendly warlock and a good friend of ours, got knocked out by Igor when James already left to free us. And when he woke up, Vanessa was gone.”

“So, you think Igor took her?” Danny asks.

“It wouldn’t surprise me, all the Dracul vampires do whatever Dracula wants them to do,” Daniel replies.

“All I know is that we have to get her back, right now!”

“I get that, but first we must find out where she is,” Daniel replies.

James comes walking onto the porch as well and says, “We should sit down together inside and discuss what we are going to do now.”

“Yeah, I know,” Cole replies, as he walks back inside.

James invites Daniel and Danny in as well and they walk towards the kitchen, where Sparks is seated at the dinner table and Cole is leaning against the fridge taking a big sip from a bottle of whiskey. Sparks introduces himself to Daniel and Danny and then they all take a seat, except for Cole. “Cole, I understand that you are angry right now, and you have every right to be, but we really need to talk about this,” James says.

Cole takes another big sip and then takes a seat as well. “I know.” He then looks at Sparks and asks, “What were you doing here anyway? And no, I’m not blaming you, but I would just like to know why you came here.”

Sparks grabs a small vial out of his jacket which is filled with little, pink, circular pills. He puts the vial down on the table and replies, “This is why I came here. This is the big surprise I told you about.”

“Those are just normal looking pink pills, where’s the big surprise?” Danny asks.

“Not just any pink pills, these are magical pink pills,” Sparks replies.

“So, what do they do?” Cole asks.

“Well, when I first met you, I came to the realization that every time werewolves change, their clothes get ripped off. So, I thought, there should be something that would prevent that from happening. I mean, wouldn’t that be nice? That every time you change, you don’t have to worry about bringing a blanket or extra clothes for when you change back? So, I opened the books, worked day and night, and this is the result! I present to all of you, a pill, that you will only have to take one time in your life, which will prevent your clothes from ripping off! Isn’t that amazing?! Every time you will change back to a normal human, your clothes will magically return to your body!”

“I have to admit, that does sound amazing,” Danny says.

“Yes, but how can we be sure that it works? I don’t want to take one of these pills and die minutes after,” Daniel says.

“And, Sparks, if I may ask, what ingredients did you use?” James asks.

“Well, since I created these pills all by myself, I prefer to keep the ingredients a secret. I know that may sound stupid, but I’m proud, actually, very proud of my creation and I don’t want other people to start creating it as well. And, Daniel, to answer your question, trust me, it works. There is nothing inside of the pill that would be able to kill you.”

“Okay, but then my next question is, you got about, maybe fifty small pills in there? That is not nearly enough for all the werewolves in this world,” Daniel says.

“I know, but I created enough pills for every werewolf in this world, a matter of fact, I created even more. But, I couldn’t carry all those vials with me, so I stored the rest of the pills in my basement, or, I prefer to say, my lab,” Sparks replies, as he shoves the vial towards Cole. “This one was meant for you, Vanessa, and the rest of your pack. But please, feel free to share it with Daniel and Danny as well.”

Cole picks the vial up, looks at it and replies, “Thanks, Sparks. I really appreciate that you took the time to create something like this, but, this is not what’s important right now. Vanessa is missing and so is Brian. We don’t know where they are, or with who they are with, but we must figure it out before it’s too late.”

James nods and replies, “Well, it’s almost sure that they are with Dracula, but before we talk about that, there is something else—”

Right at that moment, the doorbell goes. Cole walks over to the front door, opens it and lets David in. They walk to the kitchen and Cole asks, “And?”

“Sorry, but we haven’t found her yet. If she would have been around here then we would have found her already, I’m sorry, Cole.”

“It’s not your fault,” Cole replies, as he sits back down.

“So, we’re going to attack and kill all Dracul vampires, yes?” David asks.

“First, we should find out where they are, and then we need to have a plan,” Daniel replies.

“But, we don’t have time! I’m sure Dracula has no mercy and we need to find him and kill him, right now! In a matter of fact, we should kill all Dracul vampires!” David says.

“Like I said, we first need to figure things out. Jesus, what’s wrong with this guy?” Daniel asks.

“Guys, let’s just all calm down,” Danny says.

“I agree, we have more important things to figure out now,” Cole says.

“No, I’m sorry, but this guy is clearly afraid. What’s wrong with me? You should ask what’s wrong with you,” David says to Daniel.

Daniel’s eyes start to glow, and he kicks his chair back and looks David straight in his eyes! “Look, you might be the beta of the brown werewolves, but I promise you that if you continue acting like this, I will rip your limbs off! Piece by piece!”

David’s eyes start to glow as well, and he replies, “I hope you try!”

Danny immediately jumps in between them, but Daniel and David keep provoking each other! Cole then smashes his fist on the table and shouts, “Enough!”

Daniel and David immediately stop and they all look at Cole. “Both of you, stop! Just sit down and shut up! We can’t have you two fighting right now!”

“You’re right, I’m sorry,” David replies, as he takes a seat.

Danny sits back down as well, and Daniel takes a deep breath and also sits back down again. “Well, now that we are all calm again, I would like to tell all of you something that I have been thinking about,” James says. “As most of us know, Vladimir is now a Dracul vampire. But, the strange thing about that is that that is not possible. You see, in order to become a Dracul vampire, you need to be bitten by Dracula himself. But, since Vladimir was already bitten by Lydia, who changed him into a vampire, there would normally be no chance that Vlad could change into a Dracul vampire, not even if he got bitten by Dracula.”

“So, what are you saying?” Cole asks.

“Well, there must have been magic involved in this. Now, I think that a Dracul vampire, which I assume must be Lydia, killed Vladimir to wake Dracula and after that, Dracula had a warlock or a witch come over to turn Vladimir not only into a Dracul vampire but also turn him into a kind of anchor to keep Dracula in this world.”

“Anchor? What do you mean by that?” Daniel asks.

“I can’t seem to find the correct word for it, but what I mean is that Vladimir makes Dracula immortal.”

“But, I thought Dracula already was immortal,” Sparks replies.

“That is right, but in the past, you could kill Dracula with one of the silver swords. But now that Vladimir, let’s just say, is his anchor, Dracula cannot be killed anymore. Not even with the silver sword. And, I also believe that Vladimir gives him more power as well. But, I also think that Vladimir is not the only anchor Dracula has. And I think I found out which creature might be the other anchor.”

“Who can it be then?” Cole asks.

Well, you see, Igor is very loyal. And yes, I know that he hasn’t always shown that, especially now, but he is. So, I don’t think that he would want to betray you. In a matter of fact, if it was just Dracula who asked him to take Vanessa, I am sure he would have refused. But, there is one person, and only one, that Igor will always listen to. And that person is his father, Lord Williams. And if he really is alive again, then that must mean that Lord Williams is the other anchor of Dracula. Because once a Dracul vampire, or any other creature, is dead, there is no way they can be brought back to life.”

“Wow, this really is a lot more complicated than I thought it would be,” Danny replies.

“So, what you’re saying is that we can only kill Dracula, if we will kill the anchors, yes?” Daniel asks.

  “That is correct.”

“But that means that Vlad has to die as well, or?” Cole asks.

“I am sorry, but I am afraid that we have no other choice,” James replies.

Cole takes a deep breath, grabs the bottle of whiskey from the table and takes a big sip. “Alright, you’re saying that Vlad and Lord Williams are anchors, but how can we be sure that they are the only ones? What if there are more?” Sparks asks.

“We cannot be sure, we can only hope that Vladimir and Lord Williams are the only anchors. But, to prevent that Dracula will create more, he needs to die as soon as possible,” James replies.

“So, we better figure out where he is then,” Daniel says.

Right at that moment, Cole feels his mobile phone shake in his pocket. He grabs it and sees that he has a video message from an unknown number. “What is it?” David asks.

“A video message,” Cole replies, as he gets up.

They all surround him and look over his shoulder as Cole plays the video message. They see Dracula, who is sitting on the throne, in the video and he says, “Hello, Cole. I’m afraid I missed you when you came by earlier tonight, but don’t worry, I want to make up for it. Please, Lydia, turn the camera around.” Then they see that Lydia points the camera at Vanessa and Brian, who are sitting on their knees with magical handcuffs around their wrists and three Dracul vampires behind them! Lydia then points the camera back at Dracula and with a smirk, Dracula says, “If you ever want to see them again, then you should come here tomorrow right before midnight. Then I will give you a choice, but if you don’t show up, then, well, I will kill them both. Goodbye, Cole, have a nice night.” But then they hear Brian shout, “Don’t listen to him, Cole! It’s a trap!” Lydia then points the camera at the floor and they hear that Brian is getting beat up and Vanessa begging the Dracul vampires to stop! Then the video stops, and Cole’s eyes start to glow and he throws his mobile phone right through the kitchen window! “Dracula and modern technology isn’t that funny,” Sparks says.

Cole looks at Sparks and Sparks says, “Sorry, I didn’t mean that this situation is funny. I meant that, you know, well… never mind.”

  “I’m sorry, Cole,” Daniel says.

Cole’s eyes stop glowing and he takes a seat at the dinner table again and so does the rest. They all look at Cole and Cole takes a deep breath and says, “I guess I have no other choice. I’m going there tomorrow before midnight.”

“But, you cannot go there alone,” Danny replies.

“I’m not planning on going alone, that’s why we need to come up with a plan,” Cole says.

“But, if you would take brown werewolves with you, then I’m sure Dracula will know about it,” Daniel replies.

“I know, but I might have an idea. David and I will pick out a lot of brown werewolves and they will wait inside of my house or inside of the bar. So, if you, James, or you, Sparks, could stay connected with me, then I could let you know when to bring the brown werewolves to the castle. That way, I won’t end up fighting alone and Dracula won’t notice it,” Cole says.

“That is a good idea, but I cannot stay connected with you. I will bring you to the castle tomorrow and after that, I am going to hunt for Lord Williams. Remember, you won’t be able to kill Dracula while Lord Williams and Vladimir are still alive,” James says.

“So, could you connect with me, Sparks?” Cole asks.

“I never did it before, but if you, James, could teach me then maybe it could work,” Sparks replies.

James nods and says, “Of course, we still got plenty of time left for that.”

“Hold up, if you can’t stay connected with Cole because you’re going after Lord Williams, then how are you going to bring Cole one of the silver swords?” Daniel asks.

“That is a good point, and to be honest, I am not sure how I am going to do that,” James replies.

“So, why not just give the sword to Cole already?” Danny asks.

“I cannot do that,” James replies.

Cole looks at James and says, “Just bring the sword to the throne room when you feel like I’m ready to kill Dracula, okay?”

“I could do that, but if I am wrong and if I will bring the sword too early, Dracula might get a hold of it,” James replies.

“Well, that’s a risk we will have to take. I don’t think we have another option,” Cole says.

James hesitates for a while but then replies, “Alright then, but promise me that you will get a hold of the sword first.”

“I will try my best, trust me,” Cole says.

“Alright, so now we got the sword and the Lord Williams situation fixed, what about Vlad?” Daniel asks.

“I could go after him,” David replies.

“But, how are you going to find him?” Sparks asks.

“Well, my grandpa actually knows a witch who lives close to London. With her help, I could be able to track Vlad down, and if that doesn’t work then I will try to find him myself. Trust me, I have a good nose,” David replies.

“I could also send a couple of gray werewolves to help you with that,” Danny says.

“That would be great, but, Cole, do you agree that I’m going to look for Vlad?” David asks.

Cole takes a deep breath and looks at James. James bows his head down and Cole says, “Just promise me that if you find him, you do it fast. I don’t want him to feel pain.”

  “I promise,” David replies.

“Okay, but what about my brother and I? What are we going to do?” Daniel asks.

“You should both go home and prepare your pack for war,” James replies.

  “For war?” Danny asks.

“Of course, we’re not sure, but when Cole goes to see Dracula tomorrow, his Dracul vampires might try to take out all of you to bring the werewolves down on their knees. So, you should prepare for that. Dracula is smart, he is not just going to lure Cole to the castle for no reason. But, that also means that your pack, Cole, should keep their eyes open and prepare as well. And also let Leo know that Brian is not coming back just yet and that they also should prepare,” James replies.

Cole takes a deep breath and says, “Alright, let’s prepare everything then.” Cole than grabs the vial from the table, opens it, takes one pill out and asks, “Are you sure I won’t end up dead if I take this?”

“I promise that you won’t,” Sparks replies.

Cole then puts the pill on his tongue and downs it with whiskey. He then passes the vial on to David who also takes a pill, and so does Daniel and Danny. David then gives the vial back to Cole and Cole says, “Alright, I will give the rest to my pack later, but, Sparks, could you get some more for the shadow werewolves and the gray werewolves as well?”

“Of course! I know that you, Danny, live in London, but where do you live, Daniel?” Sparks asks.

  “In Los Angeles, why?”

“Because you guys are going home, so then I will quickly bring you the pills before I return back to Brown’s Creek,” Sparks replies.

  “That’s fine,” Daniel says.

Sparks then gets up and says, “Alright then, I got to go. See you soon.” Sparks then snaps with his fingers and disappears into thin air.

  James gets up
as well and says, “If you two will gather your wolves then I will bring all of you home.”

Danny and Daniel both get up and right before they walk out, Daniel says to Cole, “Good luck, I hope that you will get Vanessa and Brian back.”

“Yes, and be sure to kill that bastard once and for all,” Danny says.

“Thanks, guys, you two be safe as well,” Cole replies.

Danny and Daniel then walk out, and David gets up as well. “I will tell most of the brown werewolves to gather up at the bar tomorrow and after that, I’m going to London with Danny to find Vlad,” David says.

“That’s fine, but, David, remember to do it fast,” Cole replies.

“I promise. Okay then, good luck and if you need me, be sure to call me, alright?”

  “Will do, David, stay safe.”

David then walks out of the house as well and James looks at Cole and asks, “Are you ready for this?”

Cole takes a deep breath and replies, “I honestly don’t know, but this is something that has to be done.”

“That is right, but I truly hope that you will get Vanessa and Brian back unharmed.”

“Yeah, I hope so too. But, I do have one more question.”

  “And that is?”

“Where are those two silver swords anyway?”

“They are stored at a safe location, but don’t worry, with a little bit of magic I can take the swords away from there and bring them to the throne room. But, I am going to Brown’s Creek and bring Daniel, Danny, and the rest of the shadow werewolves and the gray werewolves home. I will be back later.”

“That’s fine, and thank you, James, for everything you have done for us already. I wouldn’t know what I would have done without you.”

James smiles and replies, “I will always be here, for all of you. See you soon, Cole.” James then walks out of the house as well.

Cole grabs the bottle of whiskey and takes a big sip. He then walks upstairs to his bedroom and steps onto the balcony. He looks up at the sky, takes a deep breath and says, “I will bring you back home, Vanessa, I promise.” Cole then walks back inside his bedroom and sits down on his bed. Next to his bed, on his nightstand, is a framed picture of Julia and Jack in front of the Eiffel tower. The same picture that was on the wall inside of the restaurant. He grabs the picture, looks at it and says, “I’m going to need both of you tomorrow, not only to save Brian and Vanessa but also to save this entire world. So, I hope that both of you will stand by my side.” Cole then kisses the picture and says, “I love you, both of you.” He then puts the picture back on his nightstand, takes a deep breath and while his eyes start to glow, he says, “Let’s do this!”
