Berian grinned at him. “I like the way you think.”

  Chapter Six

Janet was so angry she could hardly think straight. All the while she’d been working on the Abbott account she’d had the feeling that something didn’t make sense. She knew there was something wrong somewhere, a basic flaw in the logic. But as yet she hadn’t been able to identify it. Once she finished the paperwork, and could read all her notes in a logical fashion, she knew it would jump out and grab her. Instead of having a few more days to finish her work, she was going to have to dress in a power suit, and run around airports and corporate offices making nice to a bunch of idiots who couldn’t be trusted to count past ten without taking their socks off.

Frankly the Abbott papers were a mess, which was why she’d asked Berian and Hal to retype the data into clean spreadsheets. Fortunately she had all that information on her memory stick. She always backed up everything every evening because she worried about computer viruses.

“If we drove there tomorrow I guess that would work. I could likely finish the audit as we drove with a few more hours in the hotel room that night. We need to drop by my apartment first though to collect some clean underwear and my power suit and jewelry and different shoes.”

“We can do all that,” said Berian.

“If you take Janet to her apartment, and you both leave me your dirty clothing, I can do a load of laundry while you’re gone, and pack us a brown-bag lunch for tomorrow as well,” added Hal.

Janet was about to say she didn’t think it was appropriate for Hal to be touching her underwear when she realized he’d touched a whole lot more than that. It was strange to think of such a big manly man washing her bras and panties, but she definitely needed clean clothing so she shrugged and agreed.

The men showered while Janet wrote a list of the things she would want for the next few days. She decided to go back to the office and collect the rest of the Abbott files as well, in case she needed to cross-check anything.

Hal grabbed everyone’s laundry and headed to the back of the house, while Berian escorted her to the SUV. She jumped straight in the backseat, opened the Abbott file, and began work. When they arrived at the office the security guard waved her through and she silently collected the files she wanted and a set of backup flash drives as well. Berian had warned her not to say anything important as he hadn’t checked for bugs so she simply collected what she wanted and shoved it all in her purse, and they left.

It was only ten minutes from the office to her apartment, and she was surprised to see only one letter in her mailbox, until she remembered one of the men had given her mail on Friday and she hadn’t looked at it yet. She dropped the new letter in her purse and took the elevator up to her floor.

She was reaching in her purse for her door key, when Berian pushed her behind him and kicked the door of her apartment open. It wasn’t locked and through the doorway she could see her things scattered on the floor.

“Fucking hell!” Janet pulled out her cell phone and called the apartment manager. “Some asshole has broken into my apartment and trashed it.”

  “Are you sure?”

“Of course I’m fucking sure. The door is broken and there’s stuff all over the floor.”

  “Oh.”

“Thank you for your help.” She clicked off the call to the useless fuckwit and dialed 9-1-1. At least the police would pay attention to her.

Hours and hours later, hours that should have been spent finishing the Abbott account, the police left and the apartment manager arrived with a handyman to board up her door. Silently she collected all the clothes she thought she’d need for a while, including her power suit, jewelry, which miraculously hadn’t been stolen, and her good shoes, and left.

  Fucking hell, they’re all idiots.

Berian bullied Janet straight into bed after they’d eaten the meal Hal had ready and waiting for them. Hal had also washed, dried, and folded their clothing and left it in neat piles on the end of the bed.

“Stop arguing,” he said putting his finger across her pouting, but still luscious, lips. “Once you start working you know you won’t be able to stop. It’ll be much better to have an early night and then we can get an early start tomorrow. You can work as we drive and once we arrive at the hotel. The meeting’s not until Monday morning, right?”

  “Ten a.m.”

  “Exactly, now go to bed.”

He shut the door on her complaining and gave Hal a brief report on his day. He hadn’t been able to say much when they’d called and told him they were going to be late home.

“Don’t worry. I went through the maps and have worked out the fastest route there, and I even Googled the hotels near the Abbott company office. But tell me, who broke into Janet’s apartment? Malcolm? Or some random junkie?”

“The police weren’t saying but my guess is Malcolm. Her jewelry was still in a little plastic wallet, but a crystal vase had been smashed and so had a really nice ceramic teapot. I suspect he was angry at not finding her home to frighten her.”

“He doesn’t know her very well if he expected her to be frightened,” said Hal.

Berian grinned. “I’m so glad we got her to put those things in storage. At least the stuff she really cares about wasn’t hurt.”

He and Hal slept in the other beds, wanting Janet to have as peaceful a night’s rest as possible. Hal had been as good as his promise, and in the refrigerator were neat bags of food for their lunch, and snacks for on the journey. He’d filled a couple of thermoses with coffee, and some bottles with water, which he’d chilled, so they really only needed to stop for gas, or if they wanted to walk around. Janet, once again wearing jeans, settled herself in the backseat with a pile of paperwork, a thick notepad, and several Ziploc bags. He had no idea what they were for but apparently she knew, so it was all good with him. He and Hal concentrated on driving, although he couldn’t resist checking on her in the rearview mirror every now and then.

When they finally pulled up outside the hotel they’d chosen, Janet didn’t even look up. She was muttering to herself and flipping from page to page of several different files. Berian stared at Hal who shrugged his shoulders, so they both settled in to wait. She was obviously at a crucial stage of her work and there was no need to interrupt her right now.

“I’ve got you now, you fucking asshole,” Janet muttered, scribbling on her notepad. A few minutes later she looked up and Berian smiled at her.

“Why have we stopped?” She looked around.

“We’ve arrived,” said Hal, his bass voice full of laughter.

“What excellent timing. I’ve just identified the discrepancy, and I’ve gotten them by their short and curlies now. I’m going to nail that fuckwit’s balls to the wall.”

Berian laughed. “That should be fun. I hope I get to watch you do it. Shall we go in and register now?”

She loaded all her paperwork back into her oversized purse. This time it bulged ominously in the attempt to hold everything. It must have weighed twenty pounds at least, but she slung it over her shoulder as if it was empty.

He and Hal brought in their suits, in zippered bags, and Janet’s carry-on bag, which had the rest of their things in it.

To their surprise Janet walked straight up to the reception desk and smiled at the man on duty. “What suites do you have available?”

“I’m sorry, ma’am, all the executive suites are taken but there’s still a platinum suite free.”

  “That will do perfectly.”

She handed across her credit card, received the keycards, and they headed to the elevator and the top floor.

In the elevator Berian whispered to her, “I hope the company is paying for this.”

“You can be sure of that. Everything we eat, drink, or breathe on this trip is going to be billed to the Abbott account. When you fill up with gas, make sure you get a receipt.”

  “Yes, ma’am,” he teased her.

br />   It took her several more hours. Janet seated herself at the large table in the living room of the suite, and was soon surrounded by mountains of paper, her iPad, and three notebooks. First, she had to load the flash drives full of data onto the iPad. But when she finished her report she had a nice, neat description of what was wrong about the Abbott company finances. One of the senior executives had been steadily siphoning off funds into an account only he could sign for, and from there some of the money had disappeared.

Thoughtfully she saved all the files on her iPad and on both memory sticks. Then, in a series of e-mails, she sent the data to herself, to her CEO, and to the CFO of her firm. That should guard against anyone sticking a finger in her pie.

She tidied all the papers into a neat stack, putting the report in a new company folder she’d picked up at the office. Then she dropped one flash drive into her wallet and the other one into her purse.

When she looked around both Hal and Berian were watching her. They’d been in the other room watching a football game on the huge TV all afternoon.

  “All done?” asked Berian.

“Yes.” Fuck it felt good to be finished even if she did have to face these assholes tomorrow.

“What do you want to do now? There’s a hot tub in the bathroom, or we could eat, or even go sightseeing if that’s what you’d like?” suggested Berian.

She stood up, stretching her back. Her men watched her looking totally delicious and so caring. She’d basically ignored them all day, yet instead of complaining and demanding she pay them attention, they’d helped and supported her, waiting for her to finish her work. Surely there weren’t two other men in the whole world as considerate as these two.

“Let me see the hot tub.”

“I was hoping you’d say that. I filled it up less than half an hour ago,” said Hal.

The tub was huge. More than big enough for the three of them. Janet looked at it and at the men. “I’ve never had sex in a hot tub before,” she said, unzipping her jeans and kicking off her shoes.

“Me either. We need to change that,” said Hal, pulling his sweater off.

Janet looked at the row of tiny bottles on the sink. Several of them were bubble bath. It was a large tub, so she decided to tip all them in even though two were lavender and the other two coconut. If the men didn’t like the result they could always shower the bubbles off later. Then she finished undressing and climbed in the tub. Even though Hal said he’d filled it a while ago the water was deliciously hot, and as she sat down she loved the way it soothed her aching muscles. She hadn’t even realized how tense she’d been about the fucking Abbott account until now. But she’d found the error and that was all that mattered. Her instincts had told her there was a problem and she’d have hated not to find it in time for tomorrow’s meeting.

The men sat opposite her in the tub, and they played footsies with her for a while, but mostly she was relaxing, letting all the tension in her body release in the heat, and steam, and presence of her men. Her wonderful, marvelous, caring, considerate men.

“Would you like to do some sightseeing? There’ll still be time tonight. We’ve brought nice clothes. We could go to a restaurant as well if you like,” suggested Berian.

“I’d be happy to stay here with room service. But if you’d both enjoy going out exploring, that’s fine. I just want to relax tonight, and then tomorrow I need to prepare myself for what will undoubtedly be a major shitfest.”

“Because you found an error?” asked Hal.

That’s right. She hadn’t told them yet.

“Because I found one of their senior executives helping himself to probably a million dollars of Abbott company money.”

  “Ouch!” said Hal.

“Is he stupid or what?” asked Berian.

“It’s been done quite well, but the whole time I was doing the audit something seemed not quite right to me. Apparently my subconscious had noted that money had disappeared even though it hadn’t shown up clearly in the figures. That’s why I had you retyping those spreadsheets. They were such an unholy mess I expect whoever audited them last year just gave up.”

Hal grinned at her. “But you don’t give up.”

  “Fuck no.”

“Speaking about fucking…” Berian slid across to her and sat her on his knee. She loved the easy way these men picked her up as if she weighed nothing, whereas she knew she weighed a damn lot. His cock was nestled in the crack of her ass so she wiggled backward until it was at her pussy.

  “Condom?”

Hal stood up and picked up a string of condoms lying on the side of the tub and handed her one. She hadn’t even noticed them there as she’d climbed in.

“It’s good to know you’re prepared.”

“We’re always prepared for you, sweetheart,” said Hal in his rumbly bass. His voice itself aroused her almost as much as the words he said. And what he said was true. They looked after her so well she never needed to think of anything. They’d always prepared whatever she needed before she even thought of it.

Janet fed Berian’s cock into her pussy, sliding down on him until he filled and stretched her. Berian began a mad, fast pace using his thighs to assist his cock in thrusting up into her so hard she was bouncing on his knees. Behind her Hal stroked her head and began massaging shampoo into her scalp. Fucking hell. He was giving her a head massage and a shampoo while Berian fucked her.

She shut her eyes and held on tight to Berian as an orgasm wound its way ever tighter in her belly, driving her need higher and higher. Hal’s fingers pressed and massaged her head, but instead of relaxing her, strangely that just made her more excited. When her climax roared through her and she leaned forward he squeezed her hair and scooped the bubbles off it. She wanted to laugh but it was all she could do to breathe. Fucking hell. Zero to one hundred in a nanosecond. “Are you trying to set the world speed record for a fuck or what?” she gasped.

“That was just to take the edge off. We didn’t get to fuck you last night, remember?” said Berian.

He and Hal stretched her out in the water, and Hal massaged the shampoo out of her hair. She closed her eyes and floated there for a while until four hands began to play with her skin. It was Berian touching her breasts, and Hal stroking her toes. She hadn’t considered toes very sexy before but she was ready to change her mind on that. What Hal was doing was dead sexy. When he lifted her foot to his mouth and began sucking her toes she felt her cream pour from her pussy.

  “Oh, wow,” she moaned.

  “You like that, do you?”

Hal picked up her other foot and sucked those toes as well. Gradually he kissed his way up her leg and then he licked inside her belly button. She giggled, sat up, and pulled him to her. “Kiss me properly.”

  “I can do that.”

Hal leaned back against the side of the tub and pulled her closer. This time he gently licked along the seam of her mouth, before pressing kisses all across her cheeks only entering her mouth as she opened it to complain. She giggled as she kissed him back and found herself pulled half out of the water, on her knees, her breasts against the rim of the tub.

Hal entered her from behind in a long deep thrust that had her gripping the edge of the tub and desperate for him to begin pumping into her. Just as Berian had done, he set a fierce pace, slamming into her so she really needed to brace herself and hang on. But she also managed to push back onto his cock, wanting all of him on every stroke.

Hal wrapped an arm around her hip and pressed the heel of his hand over her clit. Now he was pushing her back into himself as well, rubbing her clit as he powered into her cunt.

Intense emotions rolled through Janet. She crossed her arms on the tub and rested her head on them moving with him, encouraging him, but unable to think, or speak, or initiate any responses from the carnal intensity of his fucking.

Hal pinched her clit and she came, biting her arm to stop herself from screaming her release as she remembered only at the last minute they were i
n a hotel, surrounded by strangers.

Once again the men laid her in the water, stroking and soothing her. Berian washed her gently with a citrusy soap. She was going to smell like a fruit bowl or maybe a bouquet of flowers tomorrow from all the different fragrances in the tub.

Janet giggled, and then laughed. “You two are amazing. You make my life better than it’s ever been before.”

“We’d like to keep doing that forever.”

  Forever?

  * * * *

Hal had loved sleeping with Janet all night again. Now, when they were apart, it felt wrong to him. It only felt right when the three of them were snuggled together. He’d noticed she hadn’t replied to Berian’s hint that he wanted her to mate them. But maybe it was just that the meeting tomorrow was so important to her. And there was still the issue of her brother and the court case over her father’s possessions. That was what had brought them together in the first place.

His personal opinion was the same as Berian’s, that Malcolm had smashed up her apartment just to prove he could. Hal hoped he’d left some nice clear fingerprints for the police to use to catch him, but everyone watched CSI these days so likely whoever had done it wore gloves.

They’d eaten a big leisurely breakfast, then Janet had painstakingly repacked their luggage. She’d loaded all the Abbott files into the small carry-on and their clothes had been dumped in the suit bags, which were now folded up since they were wearing their suits.

“Are we supposed to be your interns again?” asked Hal.

“Absolutely. I’ll be billing your time for making those spreadsheets as well as the actual meeting time today. Since they told me to catch an airplane unfortunately I can’t claim the travel time for you but your meals and gas I can.”

“It doesn’t matter. We want to be with you anyway,” said Berian.
