Kilty Pleasures

Her admission shocked him. “You do?”

“Those ribs are nice and all, but nothing compares to the warmth of a man’s cum when it fills you.”

His spent cock danced wildly against his belly.

  “Protection isˮ

“Unnecessary. At least from a baby-making standpoint. I’ve been on birth control since I was nineteen.” She lifted her head slightly and eyed him up and down. “I assume you’re healthy.”

He nodded, still a bit surprised by her suggestion.

“Me too,” she confirmed. “Given I haven’t been with a man in over two years, it would have been hard to catch something.”

“Two years?” He squelched an outright chuckle at the very thought of such a long period of abstinence.

She snuggled in closer to his side and brushed her hand across his chest, teased his nipple with her nails. “Night before graduation ceremonies. My college boyfriend. Unfortunately, the next day he left for his parents’ home in New Jersey and then on to law school in the fall. I came back to Glencoe, a degree with honors but no reason to leave.”

He stilled her wandering hand just short of reaching his cock. As badly as he wanted her again and again, he found himself interested in more than her body. He needed to know what made Aileen MacDougall tick. The realization surprised him.

“What kind of degree?” he asked.

“Animal husbandry with a minor in agriculture, specifically sustainable crop migration.”

“Uh…um…” His long pause was met with a round of her robust laughter.

She swatted his arm. “Seriously? You actually believed me?”

“Well, you did come back to Glencoe…to your parents’ farm. It’s not totally out of the realm.” He caught her hand and brought it to his lips. “Your dad brags about your tractor driving and fence mending abilities.”

“My da will brag about anything even the slightest bit farm related.”

“So, are you going to tell me what kind of degree you received? Or, shall I just use my imagination?”

“Your imagination? I can’t wait to hear your thoughts.”

He brushed his open palm against her bare skin, across her shoulder, the narrow passageway between her breasts, across her belly, settling at her hip. She squirmed in his arms, urging him to go further.

“Given how well you rode my cock…not to mention that talented mouth of yours…I’d guess a degree in the anatomical sciences with an emphasis on sex education and a minor in extremely happy endings.”

She slid across his body until she lay fully atop him. His erection pulsed against her thigh. “I can’t imagine where you got the ‘happy ending’ idea. We’re nowhere near finished.”

  Chapter Seven

Aileen wasn’t sure her heart could take much more. Yet she was more than willing to test her limits.

Barely an hour had passed, and Ronan was ready to go again. The man was a machine. She pushed herself back into the mound of pillows on the bed. Ronan’s muscular calves were anchored on either side of her head, supporting his weight and keeping their bodies apart. The press of his mouth against her ankle was driving her insane. He bit her instep, and she nearly came. Nearly. The ease with which he could arouse her was astounding. Exciting. She’d never, ever, wanted anyone as badly as she wanted him.

She needed him inside her. He seemed content to tease.

Well, two could play at his sensual game.

She grasped his hips and urged him backward until his magnificently hard cock hung just inches from her mouth. Raising herself off the mattress, she darted her tongue out and poked his cock then nipped at the hard shaft with her lips.

Balanced on one forearm, he hovered over her, his tongue licking the tops of her thighs, while his fingers toyed with her clit.

He rolled onto his side and she followed suit, bending her leg and offering him unfettered access to her wet pussy. Pressing a kiss to her inner thigh, he whispered, “It was my uniform number in college, you know.”

  “Hmm…”

  “Sixty-nine.”

She blew a warm stream of air across his cock. “My favorite number.”

Aileen opened her eyes. With the drapes closed, it was hard to tell how long they’d slept. Contentment rushed through her. They’d both collapsed after another two rounds of very enjoyable sex.

  Ronan stirred at her side.

“We need to get going,” she said softly.

  “Again? I’m not fully recovered.”

“Not that, silly. We need to head back to the farmhouse before they realize we’ve been gone all day.”

He slid beneath the quilt she’d pulled over them and buried his face between her breasts. “We’re still taking inventory.”

  “I’m serious…we…ah…stop that…we…”

The tug of his mouth on her nipple was sending mixed signals to the logical side of her brain.

“Okay,” he agreed, popping out from beneath the covers. “Let’s go back. I know for a fact, the mattress at the farmhouse has been updated and is just as comfortable as this one.”

“As delightful as today has been, when we get back down the mountain there will be far too many people around to continue. At least at this non-stop pace.”

He grinned. “It was pretty damned frantic wasn’t it?” He pressed a chaste kiss to her lips. “And fucking damn fantastic.”

“Yes,” she agreed. “Pretty fantastic. Either that or I was horny.”

A loud gasp escaped him. “Are you impugning my expertise?”

She slid from the bed and pulled the quilt behind her, wrapping it around her body like a toga. “No, not at all. However, had I been sexually active recently, we might have stopped at five.”

He scrambled from the bed behind her and reached for the discarded kilt, fitting it snugly around his hips. “Yeah, like we could have stopped.”

Away from his close proximity, she scanned the room, mentally cataloging what they’d need to put to rights before they left. First things first, they needed some light in the room. She went to the window and threw open the drapes.

  “Oh…my…gosh.”

  “What?”

She motioned him to the window. “Apparently, while we were preoccupied, the storm started again. There’s another inch or so of snow, but worse than that, we’ve had freezing rain as well.”

He ran a hand through his disheveled hair and shook his head. “Holy fuck! It’s a sheet of ice out there.”

Aileen stumbled through the bedroom door, the heavy quilt nearly tripping her in her haste. She charted a straight course for her discarded clothes, pulling her sweater over her head as she crossed the great room floor. With a quick twist of her wrist, she unlocked the front door and pulled it open. The entire yard and driveway was crusted in ice.

“We’re trapped.” Her words came out in a rush when a sudden gust of wind blew her back against the half-opened door.

He reached out to steady her with a firm grip on her arm, and together, they forced the door closed.

“What about the four-wheel drive?” he asked.

“While the snow isn’t deep enough to worry about, I’m concerned that the SUV will be of little use on the ice-covered service road, and that’s assuming we could even get traction in the first place.”

“Do we have rock salt?” he asked.

“Sure we do.” She nodded toward the back door. “Out in the maintenance shed about fifty yards to the left. I doubt there’s enough there to get us down the mountain.”

He dropped onto the arm of the closest chair. “Son of a bitch. I can’t be trapped here. There’s no phone reception, no Internet.”

“This is a freak storm. The sun will come out in the morning, and the worst of the ice will be gone by tomorrow afternoon.”

“I have a business to run,” he reminded her none too calmly. “I can’t be out of touch for that long.”

  “You don’t trust your employees?”

  He relea
sed a long sigh. His worried expression softened. “Of course I do.”

“Then, I’m almost positive you’ll survive.”

“Won’t your family be worried when you don’t come home?”

A short burst of laughter escaped her. “If I know my brothers, they’re likely out with a search party as we speak. I’d better call them and let them know we’re okay.”

“Call them? You have a working phone?”

“No, but I do have a shortwave radio.” She pointed toward the far wall just off the kitchen. “We keep it for emergencies.”

“Good. At least they won’t worry.”

“I can have them call your office if you’d like.”

He shook his head. “No, that’s okay. You were right, they can run things without me. I suppose I should loosen the reins a bit anyway.”

“Come on, I’ll give my parents a call and then make us something to eat.”

While she made the call home, Ronan paced the cabin, re-started the fire, and to her vast disappointment, changed out of the kilt and back into his clothes. Once she finished speaking to both her father and her brother, she went to stand at his side by the huge picture window.

“So, what did they say?” he asked.

“According to the forecast, the snow has passed completely. The rain has let up everywhere but right on the coastline. The temperature is expected to be back to normal tomorrow. The ice should be melted enough by early afternoon that we can drive down the mountain without a problem.”

He turned and scanned the entire great room and surrounding space. “Just great. I’m trapped in a remote cabin, devoid of methods of modern communication, with a beautiful, albeit horny, woman. Whatever will I do?”

She buried a laugh behind her hand. “I suppose we could start with something to eat.”

“I don’t guess there’s any more wine, is there?”

She withdrew a key ring from her pocket and filtered through at least a dozen options. “Here,” she offered, holding the correct key aloft. “The cabinet to the right of the sink. Second drawer is wine and the third is scotch.”

“What’s for dinner?” he asked, taking the keys from her grasp.

“If we’re lucky, I’ll be able to whip up a shepherd’s pie. If there’s no ground meat, we may be eating canned sausage.”

He stepped behind her and pressed a kiss to her nape. “I’ve got my fingers crossed for pie.”

  ****

Aileen relaxed back against the edge of the sofa and released a long sigh. Dinner had gone far better than she expected.

Ronan lifted his wine glance in a mock toast. “My compliments to the chef. Given you were working with little more than a few canned goods and a block of frozen hamburger, that has to be one of the best meals I’ve ever had.”

Pushing herself to her feet, she gave a quick curtsey in response. “Thank you, sir. We here at Chateau MacAlister aim to please.”

She cleared the dishes from the table in front of the fireplace and carried them to the sink. “While I take care of this mess, why don’t you check the storage room inside the back door and grab some more wood and kindling. We don’t want the fire to die.”

“Is there no other heat source?”

“We have space heaters for the upstairs bedrooms, but as with any freak storm, there’s a chance we could lose power.”

  “Maybe not. We haven’t yet.”

“Fingers crossed. We have a generator as well, but I’d rather not use it if we don’t have to.”

  “Why not?”

“It runs on gas, and I’m not sure how much we’ve got.” She shook her head, mentally admonishing herself for not being more on top of things. “We usually stock up just before hunting season, but since we weren’t renting out, I didn’t think to do it.”

“Don’t kick yourself over it. You’ve been busy since my uncle’s passing.”

His absolution was welcome but didn’t lessen her guilt. It was her job…her responsibility…and she’d screwed up.

  Don’t kick yourself…you’ve been busy.

The downside to being a perfectionist, she realized, was being unable to forgive yourself for even the smallest mistake. Even when your boss was more than willing to give you a pass.

  Chapter Eight

Ronan pushed the last letter into place atop the triple word square. “Reticent. Tacking on to your word and utilizing the ‘e’, that’ll be another eighty-six points for me.”

“Nice play. Too bad you’re still forty points behind.”

He shot her a glare, followed by what he hoped was his most lascivious grin. “You know what would make this more interesting?”

  “Let me guess, Strip Scrabble.”

“I was going to say Nude Scrabble, but I’m willing to work for it.”

“I bet you are. Why don’t we put the game away and go to bed? It is after midnight.”

He gathered his remaining game pieces and dumped them into the storage pouch. “I’ll go light a few candles, maybe take a quick shower.”

She nodded and then stood, gathering up the game board and box in her hands. “When you come out of the shower you should put the kilt back on.”

“Hmm…kinky. I like it. What will you be wearing?”

  “A smile.”

When they awoke the next morning, the sun was shining. So brightly, in fact, it seeped through the slats in the bedroom blinds.

“Morning,” Aileen mumbled, wishing for a graceful way to exit the bed and see to some morning necessities.

“Just so you know, as much as I desire you, this hard-on is not that kind,” Ronan said.

She slid from beneath the blankets. “Good. I’ll take the first-floor bathroom. You can stay here.” Wrapping a nearby throw around her body, she slipped out through the bedroom door.

On her way to the opposite side of the cabin, she stopped long enough to open the drapes on the big picture window. Water, courtesy of the melting ice and snow, dripped in a steady rhythm from the overhead gutters.

By late morning, they’d be able to scrape off the car and drive out without having to worry about the roads. The thought both excited her and disappointed her in equal measure.

Using tinned milk, she reconstituted some powdered eggs and made a quick scramble. She also put together a pan of biscuits and set out two different kinds of preserves.

Given they hadn’t lost power, coffee was brewing within minutes. Not a fancy breakfast by any means, but one that would replenish the energy they’d expended over and over again.

After they ate, she made another call to her family on the shortwave. As she suspected, the roads were clearing nicely. AJ offered to drive up in one of the town’s two snow plows and cut them a path free of both ice and snow.

“No thanks. You’re likely needed at the church and the hospital parking lot. We’ll clean the car off and start down in an hour or so.”

Once she’d shut down the radio, she turned to Ronan. “The lower road is good. We should be out of here in a couple hours.”

  He nodded. “So I heard.”

“I think I’m going to go outside and see if I can reach the storage shed and grab a shovel. I’ll need to dig us a path.”

“I can do that,” he told her.

She glanced at his expensive clothes, imagining him naked but for the kilt. “No sense you ruining a perfectly good pair of pants. I can get us out.”

“Screw the fancy slacks. I’ll do my share.”

Rather than argue, she nodded, tossed him his borrowed jacket and led the way outside. “Let’s get a move on it.”

Aileen relaxed back against the side of the cabin and surveyed their progress. In less than an hour, they’d cleared the snow away from the cabin all the way to the car. Ronan had just finished clearing the last of the ice from the car windows.

It was nearly time to leave.

“I could use a hot drink,” he said as he approached. “Cocoa if you have it. Or some of that herbal t
ea would be great.”

“I’ll check for the cocoa but I can’t promise marshmallows.”

“How about whipped cream?” he asked, his eyebrows wagging in an almost lecherous way.

“If we’d had whipped cream, you’d have been wearing it along with the kilt.”

Ronan grasped her wrist in his hand and pulled her into his arms. Reaching for the doorknob, he steered them back through the cabin door before pressing his mouth to hers.

When he raised his head, he told her, “Damn. I would have loved sucking whipped cream from those big tits of yours.”

The picture he painted made her hot, needy. Her entire body pulsed with excitement. Slowly, she backed out of his arms. “I should check for the cocoa.”

He advanced until they were once again toe-to-toe. Tilting her chin up with the tips of two fingers, he told her, “Never mind the cocoa, sweetheart. We’ve still got one condom left.”

  Chapter Nine

Given how white-knuckled Ronan had been on the drive up to the cabins, she was happy to see he was handling the drive down without much fuss. Or perhaps he was just anxious to be off the snow and ice-covered mountain and back to civilization.

They’d about reached the halfway point when he finally spoke. “You never answered me honestly about your degree.”

Her shoulders rose and fell on a shrug. “No, I guess I didn’t. Sorry about that. I have a BA in Business Administration, with an emphasis on corporate design and a minor in human resources.”

Ronan shifted in the seat, turning to face her. His deep laugh bounced off the windshield and echoed through the car. “That’s a far cry from animal husbandry.”

  “Yes, it is.”

He paused for a moment when the car slipped in the middle of an especially narrow turn. “What was your plan after graduation?”

She shrugged again, intentionally minimizing her disappointment over her unrealized plans. “I’d hoped to open a consulting business. I wanted to offer my expertise to organize new businesses, design their office set up and infrastructure and possibly, oversee their hiring. Kind of one-stop shopping.”

“So, what happened? Why are you still here in Glencoe?”
