What He Craves: Desires Book 2

Matt took a deep breath and decided to confide in Craig. He told him about his insecurities, his past mistakes, and the confrontation with Cam at the mall.
“He’s never going to believe that I’m not using Steve. He’s never going to want to be a part of my life again. Hell, if this were my engagement party, I doubt he’d bother to come, even for a little while.”
“You don’t know that.” Craig’s heart was in the right place, but Matt couldn’t find it in himself to believe it.
“He was so disgusted, Craig. You didn’t see his face.” Matt shook his head. “This is your day, Craig. I don’t want to blacken it with my dramatic bullshit.” Matt took a deep breath and ignored the glimmer of sadness that clung to Craig’s features. “I have instructions from my Master for us.”
Craig’s eyebrows shot up. “Instructions?” He squeaked.
“Yes. Important ones.” Matt fished in his pocket and pulled out his keys. Steve gave his keys back shortly after they’d started seeing each other, once Steve was confident that Matt was going to stay and not drive off to live in a parking lot somewhere. Though he still made Matt promise that he wouldn’t do that.
Craig tried to pry the secret from Matt, but Matt had too much fun keeping it from him. When Matt pulled up in front of the ivy-covered building, Craig looked at him, somewhat puzzled.
“A spa?” Craig didn’t sound very impressed, which bugged Matt a little.
Matt shrugged a shoulder. “They want us to look our best tonight.” Matt climbed out of the car and headed toward the building. He cast a look over his shoulder. “If you want your real surprise, hurry your ass up and get inside.”
Craig did hurry then. When he caught up to Matt, he glanced at him. A bit of pink slashed across his cheekbones. “Uh, thanks for this, by the way. It’s nice of you.”
Matt opened the door for Craig and motioned for him to go through. Matt didn’t know what Craig’s friend looked like, but he guessed by the look of glee on the face of the platinum blonde that he was Everett.
Matt watched as Craig and his friend flung their arms around each other. Matt shifted his weight from foot to foot and shoved his hands in his pockets. He tried not to look at the happy reunion, it felt private and personal and like something he wasn’t invited to. Then Craig’s arms were around his waist and Craig squeezed him tight.
“Thank you. It’s been ages since I’ve seen Everett.”
Matt chuckled and hoped his discomfort didn’t shine through. “Well, you seemed excited to have him at the party, so I called him and asked him if he’d like to join us today.”
Craig pulled away and grinned up at Matt. “Thanks, Matt. It means a lot.”.
After the initial excitement over the reunion, Everett seemed to be a pretty laid back, subdued sort of guy. Here and there, as they were led to the change rooms where they were instructed to change into the big, fluffy robes, Matt thought he detected a hint of mischief in Everett’s eyes. He looked like he had a secret and wanted to share it but couldn’t. But then again, Matt didn’t know him very well.
They spent the morning getting massages, then much to their chagrin, manicures and pedicures, which they enjoyed more than they thought they would. They ate lunch by the pool and that’s when Craig finally cracked.
“Everett, are you ever going to tell me what’s going on with you?”
Everett arched a dark eyebrow. The silver hoop glinted in the sunlight. “What do you mean?” Again, mischief danced in his eyes, and this time he let a smirk slide across his face.
“You look like the cat who ate the canary. What’s going on with you?”
Everett schooled his features. “I’m sort of seeing someone,” his brow furrowed. “Maybe.”
“What do you mean, maybe?”
“Well…” Everett glanced to Craig, then to Matt, then to Craig again. “Is he really in the lifestyle?”
Craig rolled his eyes. “Alan’s best friend Steve bought Alan’s old kink club. Matt is Steve’s submissive boyfriend. Plus, he’s got a library of kink novels that you’d envy. Whatever you’re going to say, you’re not going to shock him.”
Everett cast Matt a sheepish look. “Sorry.”
Matt waved his apology off. “No, no. I get it, man. You think I want to run around and tell everyone that I wear a collar and call my boyfriend Master and that those things do it for me? Most people don’t understand.”
Everett took a deep breath. “I have a blog.” He cast a sideways glance to Craig, who didn’t seem shocked until Everett continued. “I have an online submissive blog.”
Craig put his drink down slowly. “You sub for random guys online?” Craig sounded mildly horrified and even Matt’s stomach tightened at the thought.
“I don’t meet them or anything. They give me instructions and I follow them and then post the scene on my blog.”
Craig exhaled and raked a hand through his hair. “Shit, man, you had me worried. I thought you were using the internet to hook up with these guys.”
“Well…” Everett’s voice trailed off.
“Ev, no.”
Everett’s cheeks flushed a deep pink, but he didn’t look embarrassed. Determined, maybe. “I have rules, Craig. I never show my face. I never give them any identifying information. If they want to send me something specific, I have a post office box I get them to send it to. Hell, I never even sub for the same username twice. Those are my rules.” Everett sighed and poked at his food with his fork. “But, you see, Puck is different. I broke my no repeats rule for him and now he wants to meet me. In person.”
Craig’s eyes widened, and the color drained from his face. “Ev. Are you sure you want to do that?”
Everett nodded. “He’s different from the other guys I’ve subbed for. I’m not sure I can explain it. With the other guys, it feels like they’re just playing, you know. This guy, Puck, it’s like…this is who he is.” Everett shrugged. “It sounds dumb, I know.”
Craig looked halfway terrified for his friend, but Matt saw no harm in it, so he cleared his throat. “Uh, well, meet somewhere public, okay. That way if your creep-dar dings you can make an easy get-a-way. Or I could go with you. Not like, on your date, but I could hang out nearby if you needed a friend. It might make Craig relax a bit.” Matt nodded toward Craig whose entire body went rigid.
“Are you sure you want to do this, Ev?”
Everett nodded.
Craig took a deep breath. “I’m leaving town soon, but please, if you do this, take Matt with you. He’s a good guy and it would make me feel better knowing that you had someone watching out for you.”
Everett raked a hand through his longish platinum hair. It had been shaved a little shorter on the sides and left longer on top. Everett exhaled. “To tell you the truth, I want to meet him in person, but it is a little intimidating.” Everett ducked his head and blushed. “I’ll think about it, okay?”
Matt smiled and put his hand on Everett’s arm. “Okay. Let me know when you’ve got it set up and I’ll be there if you want me to be.”
“Thanks, Matt.” Everett took a drink, then eyed Matt over the rim of the glass. “So, I hear you’re doing a scene tonight.”
Nervous excitement rippled through Matt. He’d tried to avoid thinking about it too much that day to no avail. The scene had been on his mind almost constantly. Steve had walked him through it a few times, detailing it step by step and Matt couldn’t get the mental images out of his mind. He’d been as hard as steel all day long.
“Yeah.” Matt knew his cheeks were crimson.
“Are you nervous?” Craig asked with what Matt believed to be a curious look on his face.
“A little. I liked…the other day…a lot.” Matt shifted his gaze between Everett and Craig. He knew the two were friends, but he didn’t know if Craig had shared what happened the other day with Everett, so he thought it best to keep it quiet. He took a breath in an effort to swallow the flutter of nerves that tickled at his insides. “And the scene was my id
ea. It’s intriguing and frightening at the same time, but yeah, I’m excited. I know Steve will look after me.”
Craig sighed. “I wish I had the guts to do something like that.”
“Is it something you want to do?”
Craig shrugged a shoulder. “I think so. But I don’t know if Alan would go for it.”
“Then you need to talk to Alan about that, Craig.” Everett chimed in. “The most important thing in any relationship is communication and honesty. If it’s something you want to explore, or at least want to talk about exploring, Alan isn’t going to know unless you tell him.”
Craig let out a quiet chuckle. “Alan keeps telling me that he’s not a mind reader.” Craig lifted his glass to his lips and drained the rest of his drink. “You’re right, Ev.”
Everett fluffed his fingers through his hair and rolled his eyes. “I’m always right.”
After lunch the trio were treated to haircuts, afterward, once they were dressed, Craig excused himself to the bathroom.
Everett took the opportunity to pull Matt aside. “Look, if you don’t want to go with me to meet that guy, I totally get it. I don’t want to be a pain in the ass.”
Matt sighed and stuffed his hands in his pockets. “I don’t mind. I honestly don’t. It’s important to Craig that his friend be safe, and I like Craig, and you seem like a nice guy, so it’s also important to me.”
“Really?” Everett arched an eyebrow and Matt laughed.
“Well, aren’t we the trusting pair? Look, Everett. I’ve done some really, really, stupid things in my life. Through sheer luck alone, I managed to make it out okay, but Craig is right. You shouldn’t meet this guy alone. I won’t get in your way, but I’ll be nearby, okay.”
Everett nodded. “Okay.”
Craig appeared a minute later, at which point Matt’s cell phone rang. Craig and Everett waited patiently while Matt talked to Steve, who suddenly had an emergency back at the house.
“Okay. I’ll be right there. Yeah. Love you too. Bye.” Matt ended the call and frowned at his phone. “I uh…can you give Craig a ride back to his hotel. Steve needs me back home for something.”
“I don’t mind at all.” Everett said. “I’ll see you at the club, later right? Maybe your big bad Doms will let us hang out.”
Matt grinned. He fished his keys out of his pocket. “That sounds great. I better go though. Thanks for giving Craig a lift.”
“See you later.” Craig called after Matt as he headed for the door.
Matt turned his head and glanced at Craig as he tossed a wave over his shoulder. “Yeah. See you.”
Matt drove home wondering what Steve’s emergency was. He didn’t sound stressed or panicked or angry, so it couldn’t be anything bad, but dread still managed to form a knot in the pit of his stomach.
Chapter Sixteen
Steve
Matt rushed through the front door, red-faced, wide-eyed, borderline crazy with panic.
“Steve, what’s wrong?”
Before Matt could get another word out Steve grabbed Matt and yanked him close. He licked the outer edge of Matt’s ear as he reached around and squeezed his ass.
“This.” Steve practically growled as he captured Matt’s soft lips with his hungry ones. He’d been unable to say no to Craig, who begged Steve to call Matt away from his Craig-sitting duties for awhile. Steve had been hesitant, but Craig said he wanted to get Matt something for working so hard on his engagement party. Steve tried to get Craig to reveal what Craig was getting Matt, but he wouldn’t say, just in case it didn’t work out the way he wanted it to. Whatever that meant.
Steve did have something to talk to Matt about, but it would have to wait until after the engagement party. He’d gotten some disturbing news from the private investigator he hired. Not only had Steve been in no hurry to break Matt’s heart, but he wouldn’t do it before the big celebration that Matt worked so hard at putting together. He’d tell him tomorrow.
All thoughts of Craig and the bad news from the private investigator vanished when Matt’s fingers brushed their way up Steve’s chest. Steve ground their crotches together. Fuck. He needed Matt. He still didn’t know how he went two years without touching him like this. Or kissing him. Without Matt, Steve’s life seemed completely empty.
Steve grabbed a handful of Matt’s hair and yanked his head to the side. He scraped his teeth along Matt’s exposed neck. He grabbed Matt by the waist and turned him. Steve took a step forward and pinned Matt to the wall. He ground their crotches together, relishing the way Matt felt against him. “God, Matt. You don’t even know, do you?” Steve nipped at Matt’s neck, near the chain Steve had given him.
“Know what?” Matt’s voice was weak from lust. His hands slid up Steve’s sides.
Steve buried his face in the crook of Matt’s neck and breathed him in. “Having you here, knowing you’re mine, it’s everything, Matt. You’ve given me everything.”
Matt tensed, and Steve pulled away. Matt’s eyes were screwed shut. He looked anguished. Steve put a hand on Matt’s cheek, and before he could ask what was wrong, Matt spoke.
“But you’re wrong though. You’ve given me everything. I came here with the clothes on my back. I was living in my car. I haven’t given you anything.” Matt’s voice cracked, and he buried his face in Steve’s shoulder.
Steve shook his head. “Matty. Don’t you get it? You gave me trust. You gave me love. Those two things are worth more to me than anything else on the planet.” He wrapped his arms around Matt and held him. “You’re worth more to me than anything else in the universe.”
Matt raised his head and looked Steve in the eyes. Then Matt’s lips crashed against Steve’s. Matt’s hands grabbed at the bottom of Steve’s shirt and he worked quickly, pulling it from his pants as he ground against him.
Steve grinned, growled, and gripped Matt’s ass. He kissed his way down the line of Matt’s jaw. Steve’s dick twitched at the sound Matt made when he nipped at his earlobe.
“I need you.” Matt keened and ground his cock against Steve’s. Steve groaned. He was so fucking turned on, he could shoot in his pants, something he hadn’t done since he had been a teenager.
“Are you sure? We have to be at the club soon.” Steve asked even as he struggled to undo Matt’s jeans.
Matt shoved his pants down, then grabbed Steve by the back of the neck and hauled him in for a kiss. “Need you. Now. Please.”
Steve loved submissive Matty, but he had to admit that Matt’s sudden ferocity was all kinds of hot. He couldn’t deny Matt, or himself, not this time. Steve fished into his back pocket and pulled out the condom and the lube he’d stashed there when Craig called to suggest that Steve find a way to distract Matt for a while.
Steve stepped back and gave Matt room to kick his pants out of the way.
Steve practically tore his pants open and shoved them down until they were out of the way. “Turn around. Put your hands on the wall.” Steve commanded as he tore the condom open and rolled it on. “This isn’t going to take long.”
Matt turned and put his hands on the wall. He arched his back and stuck his ass out at Steve. Matt wiggled it playfully as Steve lubed his cock. He smacked Matt on the cheek of the ass, then spread the excess lube down his crease.
Fuck. He was perfect, Steve thought as he ran his hand up the curve of Matt’s spine. He pressed the head of his cock to Matt’s entrance. He’d intended to sink in slowly, but Matt surprised him by rocking back and burying Steve deep in his ass with one movement.
“Fuck.” Matt keened as he rocked back and forth, fucking himself on Steve’s cock.
Steve’s left hand gripped Matt’s hip, the finger of his right dug into Matt’s shoulder. He didn’t thrust. He didn’t tell Matt to stop. God, seeing him like this, needy and aggressive, powerful and vulnerable, it did something to Steve. He gripped Matt tighter and absorbed the feel of every movement. He committed every whimper and half-sob of ecstasy that poured out of Matt to memory.
&
nbsp; Steve leaned forward and wrapped his arm around Matt’s waist. With his hands braced against the wall for leverage, Matt fucked Steve harder and harder. Each thrust made Matt cry out and Steve felt his own orgasm barrelling down on him. He wrapped a hand around Matt’s cock and pumped it. Once. Twice. Then Matt was coming, crying out Steve’s name over and over.
Steve thrust into Matt and came so hard he felt weak in the knees. Matt’s arms were shaking, so Steve wrapped an arm around Matt and pulled him up so that his back pressed tight to Steve’s chest. Steve panted against Matt’s neck as he reached down and held the condom while he gently pulled out.
“That was amazing.” Steve exhaled. “So amazing.”
“Yeah?” Matt sounded uncertain.
“Oh, holy shit, yes. Matt. Fuck. You were so hot.”
Matt turned, and Steve wanted to kiss his pink cheeks. “You didn’t mind that I…”
Steve cut him off with a quick kiss. “No. I don’t mind that you fucked yourself senseless on my cock. It was hot as hell and it was what you needed, Matty.” Steve kissed him again, slower this time. Sweeter. He explored Matt’s mouth with his tongue and teased his fingers through Matt’s soft and only slightly shorter hair.
“Mmm. I’m glad you only got a trim.”
Matt smiled against Steve’s mouth. “I like it longer. Gives you something to hold onto. I know you like that.”
Steve gave Matt a playful swat on the ass. “Damn right, I do.” Steve kissed him again. “Come on, we should clean up and get ready.”
They managed to shower with minimal distractions. An ass grab here, a quick kiss there. Matt gave Steve lots of gentle touches and sweet smiles. He seemed comfortable, especially considering that in a few hours he’d be bound to a bench in front of a room full of people while Steve…had to stop thinking about that or he’d have to fuck Matt again. He stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around his waist.
“Dry off, but don’t get dressed, yet. I’ll be right back.”
Matt nodded. “Yes, Master.” His fingers didn’t fumble with the towel. Matt seemed perfectly calm. Steve was proud of him. He was still the same guy that he’d always known, but lately he seemed more sure of himself, which gave him a quiet confidence that Steve couldn’t resist.
