Sweetest Kisses

My fingers tap dance along the waistband of her slim-fitting pencil skirt. “We will when you’re good and ready.” I inhale, tasting sea salt from the ocean, the vanilla bean of the ice cream that came with dessert and has since melted into a creamy pool the consistency of water, and the hint of something darker, earthier.

“I’m ready,” she insists. She squirms on my lap and my cock nearly explodes with joy.

  “Then do it.”

  “Do what?”

“Stick your fingers up your cunt and lick off your honey or let me do it.” Because I’m dying for a taste. Because I want nothing more than to sweep the remnants of our dinner onto the floor, lay you out on the table, and eat you for dessert. The melted ice cream wouldn’t be wasted either. I could paint her bare skin with the vanilla concoction and then lick and suck it off until she’s come a thousand times. Then I’d breach her maidenhead with my thick, stiff shaft and fuck her until she came a thousand more times.

She huffs out a laugh. “Oh, so you don’t want to fuck me? You want to watch me touch myself?”

“You say that like this is a binary choice. That I can only have one or the other. I want both. I want it all. I want to have you until we’re both too exhausted to move. I want to make love until we’re crying. I want to spread you open and eat you out until my tongue is numb and all I can taste for weeks is your flavor. I want to bend you over my knee and spank you until your ass is hot and your cunt is soaking. I want to take you again and again and again. But you’re not ready for that so we’ll wait until you are but don’t take too long.”

“Or what? You’ll find your pleasure with some other woman?” she snaps. Her face is burning and I don’t know if it’s arousal or anger or some heady mix of the two. I love it when she’s angry. She’d be a wildcat. I’d take her while she’s yelling at me. That’d be a trip. I’d come out of it scratched and bruised and sore but it’d be worth it. Smooth is going to give me the ride of my life in more ways than one.

“Nah. You wait too long and I’ll end up fucking you at an inconvenient moment like in the middle of the lobby of the resort while you’re trying to fix some asshole’s problem. I’ll be so turned on that I’ll bend you right over the reception desk, tear off your panties and shove my dick into your wet hole so hard and so fast that you won’t even have time to ask for mercy.”

  Chapter 9

  Smooth

My whole body flares to life. “Thought you said you wouldn’t fuck me?” I toss his words back at him.

“I won’t fuck you now. That’s what I said. Eventually I’m going to do more than fuck you, Selena. Much more.” His fingers are now caressing my thigh. Each stroke brings them a little closer to my throbbing sex. My legs part for him on their own and my breathing becomes unsteady. My emotions are a mix of panic and anticipation. We shouldn’t be doing this here but I don’t want to stop.

“I want it all and I don’t think fucking you the first time is how I want this to go. That wasn’t a lie but—“ He trails off. I don’t know if I want to yell at him to keep speaking or to move his fingers more up my thigh.

“But what?” I ask. As I wait for his response, my hips push up, trying to move my sex closer to his fingers.

“You’re going to push me.” His fingers drifting up my thighs stop. Instead he digs them into my flesh in a possessive hold. “I don’t want to fuck you the first time. I want to take my time.” His hold releases from my thigh. He slips his hand further up, trailing only one finger as he toys with the edge of my panties. I open for him, encouraging his touch. My body craves him so much that I forget about everything else. It’s the only thing that matters right now. I’ve never been in this situation with a man before. The feeling is overwhelming and wonderful at the same time. I never allow myself to be out of control. My mind is made up for once. There is no denying our attraction for one another and I don’t want to live in the could’ve, would’ve, should’ve. “You’re known for being smooth while I’m known for being in control. Private,” he adds.

It’s then I remember where we are but I can’t find the will to care. I want this too much. I’m on the cusp of something. My body is throbbing for it. I wiggle in his lap, not sure how to ask for it.

“You’re testing that. I want all of you. Not some fling where it’s only about fucking but you could push me there. I’ll end up taking you because I can’t wait another second. I can’t sit by idly and watch you need my touch and not provide it. I have to be the one to please you.” I can tell those last words are foreign to him. I’ve spent my whole life trying to please others. It’s my job, after all. The idea of someone wanting to please me has me spreading my thighs as wide as the pencil skirt will allow me.

“Please.” Andrew’s eyes fall closed. A small groan comes from him. “Give me your mouth and I’ll give you what you need. I have to make sure you’re quiet.”

He tells me what to do but I feel like I’m taking what I want for once. I press myself into him. I take his mouth with mine. His lips part for me as my tongue sweeps in to taste him. I try to savor it but when his fingers dip into my panties all of that goes out the window. I can only feel now. I moan into his mouth. His hand tugs my panties to the side, and they give way to the force of his pull, leaving nothing between his fingers and my sex.

“Smooth everywhere,” he growls against my mouth. I am. I took liberties at the spa here at the resort. The girls always go all out when I am there. Down there included.

“Is your perfect little pussy wet for me, Selena? Am I the first person to touch it?” His fingers begin to rub my clit, causing my hips to rise. I nod my head in response to him. “I want to hear you say it, Selena. Tell me that I’m the only one that has ever touched you here, that I’m the only one that has made you wet for them, that I’ll be the first and last to touch you.”

“Yes.” I would agree to anything right now. How do I feel like I am taking what I want but he still has this control over me? It’s different though. I am enjoying this. He makes my body come alive. “Only you.” I’ve never uttered more honest words in my life. I know in this moment that I would agree to be his forever if he asked me to.

His mouth takes mine, silencing my cry as his fingers stroke my clit. I come quick and hard. I think I’ve been on edge all day. I can never get myself off like that. I’ve tried but the barest of touches and I was done for. He keeps on stroking me. My whole body jerks now. It’s still sensitive from my orgasm.

“Andrew.” I pull my mouth from his while resting my head on his shoulder. I don’t think I can move. I want to do it again but something about all of this is terrifying. It is too perfect.

I think Andrew was right. A weekend fling could end up ruining me. Hell, maybe I am already ruined.

“I’ve got you.” Andrew's words are softer than normal. The complete opposite of his body right now. Everything about him is hard and stiff. “No one heard us or saw any of it.”

I hadn’t even thought about that. I’d been so lost in this I’d forgotten about everything else. I immediately begin to try and close my legs but his hand holds me in place. My eyes shut trying to relax and stay in this moment. Andrew begins caressing me again as we both sit in silence. My pleasure is rising again.

“There is no rush, Smooth. We have forever.” I barely hear his whispered words. I want to believe them but nothing lasts forever. Everyone is always in it for themselves. But I am going to take mine for once and enjoy this for what it is. Andrew seems to want to take care of me and I am going to let him. For now at least.

  Chapter 10

  Smooth

“Smooth.” My eyes spring open at the sound of my name. Violet’s eyes are as bright as her name. They are so wide she always looks like an owl. They take up most of her face. Her long thick eyelashes are batting away. “What’s happening around here?” she whispers. I know we’re alone so there is no need to be quiet. Or at least I think we’re alone.

“Why are you in my room?” I rub my eyes, si
tting up. Wait. How did I even get home last night? The last thing I remember—oh, crap.

“There is a man guarding your door.” She glances back toward my front door. I have no idea what she’s talking about.

“If there is a guard at my door how did you get in?” Her cheeks turn a shade pinker as she jumps back from the bed to give me room to sit up. She licks her lips, which look a little fuller than normal. I know there’s a story behind that but she’s not ready to spill it yet so I’ll give her some time.

“Mr. Lennox carried you to your room last night,” she adds, avoiding my question. Well, that explains that. Her eyes stay wide as she blinks and I know her mind is going. I think she’s waiting for me to tell her what needs to be done. “He won’t let Nathan in,” Violet whispers as she points to the door. I think she’s talking about this guard. Why would there be a guard at my door?

I stretch as I stand. “He carried me to my room.” I repeat Violet’s words as I walk over to my door to see what she’s talking about. The resort has security but I don’t have any that stand at my door. That would be ridiculous.

I swing it open to see a giant man blocking the entrance to my manager apartment. Only a few of us live on site. Violet also lives here so we tend to spend a lot of our down time together.

My eyes probably go as wide as Violet’s now as they take in this huge man in his all black suit. Tattoos are trying to escape it, peeking out near his wrist and neck. His dark gaze doesn’t land on me but over my shoulder to Violet. He doesn’t say a word. He continues standing here blocking my door in silence while his stare remains on Violet.

“Can I help you with something?” I ask when I realize he’s not going to speak.

“I’m all good, ma’am.” His answer is short and to the point. His dark gaze flicks to mine for a moment, giving me what I think is a polite nod. His eyes immediately go back over my shoulder.

“He’s with Mr. Lennox,” Violet supplies. “He’s his personal security.” She seems to know a lot about a man that has only spoken a few words. I practically had to drag them out of him. My eyebrow lifts in curiosity as Violet chatters on.

“Andrew isn’t here,” I let the guy know. There is no reason for him to be here.

“He is not,” the man confirms in a thick accent.

“He’s back in his room,” Violet answers again. Mr. Russian must not be big on talking. He definitely didn’t mind telling Violet though. I shut the door on him before I lean up against it. There is no point talking to him. He isn’t going to give me real answers to my questions.

  “Where’s Nathan?”

“Everything is fine.” Violet bats her hand. I begin to worry about work at her response. “He’s got it.” She takes a few steps toward me. “What’s happening?” she asks again. Everyone has been a little on edge since the resort was bought out a few weeks ago. Only new hires have come in but no one has been fired. There have only been small changes so far.

“I don’t know.” It comes out in a small laugh that turns into a sigh. I walk over to my coffee pot, hitting the on button before finding my phone. I overslept for the first time in a long time. Why didn’t my alarm go off? I check it to see all of my alarms have been deleted from my app.

“We were under strict orders to not bother you. Hence the guard.” She points at the door. I notice her eyes keep going there.

Out of habit I check my emails while the coffee brews, wondering why that order was made. I did need the sleep; I feel refreshed. I was so tired after what happened at dinner between Andrew and me. The thought of what we did at the table has my own cheeks turning pink.

Nothing abnormal shows up in my inbox. It’s business as usual so I exit it. I’m sure everyone behind the scenes is abuzz about my night out with Andrew. I ate dinner on his lap. He made me come with his hands under my skirt. I must have been worn out and let myself pass out in his arms. I was never comfortable enough with anyone to let go of my control so easily. He makes me feel things that I can’t explain. I knew everything would be okay because he was there. My mind whispers that last part.

I felt more at ease the longer he was around me yesterday. The rest of the world fell away as I sat in his lap. He all but made me eat. He made me relax and enjoy the moment. While enjoying it, my exhaustion finally caught up to me. Between my busy work day and Andrew making me come, I didn’t stand a chance of staying awake. I was still a little bit surprised at myself for falling asleep right there.

“Everyone see him carry me back to my room?” I ask, dropping my phone back down onto the table to retrieve my coffee.

“He took the long way.” Of course he did. “So yeah. If people didn’t see it they heard. I mean, everyone was already trying to get a look at the new owner.” She gives a small shrug, making her wild curly hair bounce. She normally has it tied back.

She reaches up to fidget with it. “Hair tie?” I ask.

She shakes her head no. “He stole mine.” She points to the door again.

“Mr. Russian stole your hair tie?”

  She nods.

“Was that the price you had to pay for him to let you in?” I half joke but her cheeks pinken all over again. She doesn’t answer me either. She continues on with her own questions.

“Are you two like a thing?”

“A thing? No.” I sit down at the breakfast bar that is essentially my table. My manager apartment is small. I don’t need much space. Violet and Nathan are pretty much the only people that ever come over. I don’t offer Violet a coffee because I know she hates them. “Just having a little fun.”

“Having a little fun?” Now she’s the one repeating me. “It sure doesn’t look to be only a little fun. It looks more serious based on the fact that there is a guard at your door and Mr. Lennox chose to carry you around the entire resort for everyone to see you together.”

“I can have a fling. It’s not like he’s going to stay around here. How many resorts or hotels does he even own?” Violet rattles off the number. Of course she knows it. She tends to know small facts about things that people usually don’t pay attention to. Violet has a tendency to ramble on when she gets excited or nervous.

“See. He’s only making a pit stop. He’ll be on his way soon and I’ll still be here.” He did offer me more but with each second it holds less and less appeal to me. It was stressful working on only one resort. How could I ever oversee more? Not only that but Nathan and Violet are my small little makeshift family. I don’t want to leave them. I’ve built a life of my own here. I know that it’s a great opportunity for me but more is not always better.

It might be a small manager’s apartment at a resort but for once I feel more at home than I ever have before. It goes to show you it’s not about where you are but who you surround yourself with. I know that good friends are hard to find and I’m not willing to give everything up. My thoughts are interrupted when my phone begins to buzz on the table. The name Smooth Operator flashes across my screen. I hit the green answer button and lift the phone to my ear.

“Selena Smooth,” I announce to the caller.

“Morning, my wildflower.” Andrew’s voice comes through the line.

“Smooth Operator?” I half laugh. “Are you operating me?”

“I’ll operate anything you want.” His words are smoother than mine. I swear I can hear him stretching out. I can tell he’s still in bed. Shouldn’t he be poolside by now at a wild party?

“Don’t you have a bachelor weekend to be attending?” I remind him. Not that I care for the idea of him by the pool or beach with a flock of women trying to get at him. Maybe I am itching for him to tell me he is waiting for me. I let my jealousy get the best of me for a brief second. “Is Smooth Operator the name all the ladies call you?” I want to shove the words back in my mouth as soon as I finish saying them. Silence hangs between us for a few seconds.

“They are grown men. If they can’t take care of themselves—” He trails off, ignoring my previous question. True. I open my fr
ont door.

“Coffee?” I ask the giant man standing outside my door. He’s still a guest here. Well, kind of.

“He doesn’t drink coffee either. He doesn’t like the taste,” Violet chimes in for the man. “He said he would drink my—" She trails off, her face turning redder than I’ve ever seen. I know she’s said more than she meant to. It’s about time her rambling gave me some juicy details.

“Are you his translator or something?” I ask her while laughing.

“Sokolov isn’t permitted to talk to you unless necessary,” Andrew informs me through the phone.

“I can talk to him if I want.” There I am again, backtalking my boss. I am enjoying this a little too much.

“You said your name was Victor.” Violet almost pouts her response as she folds her arms over her chest. She gives a hard blow to move some of the wild blond curls that have fallen into her face without a hair tie to hold them back.

“To you and only you, kotyonok I am Victor,” he tells her before his dark gaze comes back to me. “To you I am your shadow until Mr. Lennox returns.”

I stare at him, not sure what to make of that but I’m guessing he’s doing his job. I can’t fault the man for that. I could, however, give Andrew a piece of my mind. I am starting to think I am the only one that has that privilege, so I might as well use it.

“Violet.” I start to tell her to go check on Nathan. I need to get myself together and go see Mr. Lennox. Remind him that this is only a weekend fling.

“Violet comes too,” Sokolov demands. I swear he smirks a little at his comment. Violet’s eyes widen again. I should say no but if everyone else is going to watch the Selena and Andrew show I am going to enjoy the Sokolov and Violet one. I’m not going down alone and Violet looks like she wants to follow in my footsteps.
