“We had each other and we knew Lucas would find you. Come, let’s wash your hair and get you in bed. We have a whole table of food waiting for you. Lancelot made all your favorites.”
Lowering her into the water, Edward washed her hair. Lucas got out of the tub, grabbing a big towel and he waited for her. As soon as Edward was done, he placed her into Lucas’ arms.

She went over and kissed Dred’s lips softly. “You amaze me each and every day.” Turning, she stepped into Edward’s arms and hugged him. “Both of you have done a great job. Thank you, and thank your mom.” Turning in Edward’s arms, she looked at Lucas.
“My guards, are they okay? What happened to Terk, the asshole?” she asked as Lucas held out his hand. She placed her hand into his as Lucas led her over to the table, putting a plate into her hand and started to pile on the food. “He is dead. Lucky I didn’t get hold of him. As for your guards, they are bo
th fine and waiting to see you. They’ll be at breakfast in the morning, but for today we’re keeping you here in our private room. We need you to ourselves today, My Heart.”
