Suddenly More (Dirty Texas #1.5)

by J. A. Low

Carol, Charlotte, and I drive down to West Hollywood to the boutique while Evan, Jake and his dad, Greg, go to the country club to play a round of golf and have some guy time.

“This is your shop?” Carol marvels as we pull up to the curb.

“It’s beautiful isn’t it?” I say proudly, because the shop really is beautiful. Elegant and classic mixed in with a bit of Hollywood glitz. The exterior is old, red brick with a black and white striped canopy hanging over the glossy black front door. Two large windows set on either side of the entrance show off our displays. We are currently showcasing our Thanksgiving/fall inspired looks, which Stacey and Derrick worked hard on. The window display is stunning, various fall colored leaves scattered over the floor of the window, the mannequins dressed in fall outfits. Hanging from the ceiling are old tree trunks making it look like a forest behind the mannequins and that the fall leaves have fallen from them. We get so many people coming in complimenting us on our displays.

“Wait till you see inside, Mom, it is heaven,” Charlotte adds.

Our driver opens the door for us, helping us out of the car. There, standing at the shop’s front door, is Derrick waiting for us. Dressed in his uniform of dark blue jeans, tight white business shirt with the cuffs rolled up showing off his tanned, muscular arms. He looks like a model. A cheeky smile drifting across his scruffy face.

“Ladies, welcome to Derrick Jones boutique, stylist to the stars,” Derrick announces with great flair.

“Um, I thought the name on the shop window says, Wyld Jones?” I point to the large sign overhead.

Waving his hands at me he utters, “Semantics.” And then laughs. “Sorry let me start again. Welcome to Wyld Jones boutique, home to Derrick Jones, stylist to the stars.” He gives me a wink.

“I have something to show you, Evan.” I hold the rope that is attached to the sheet hanging over the shops brand new sign.

“What’s with all the secrecy, sweetheart?” Evan enquires.

“I wanted to show you just how much I appreciate your support with my business venture,” I tell him, feeling a little emotional about it all.

“I would support you in anything you want to do as long as it makes you happy.” He kisses my head.

“Okay, are you ready?” I smile building the anticipation. Evan nods and with one quick tug on the rope, the sheet falls down and displays the shop’s name in big bold letters WYLD JONES.

Evan is shocked. I can see it on his face. The realization that I have used my soon to be married name as the title of my new business.

  “Sienna.”

I place my hand on his arm. “Do you like it?” I wonder if I have over stepped using his name for something so public.

“Do I like it?” He repeats my words. “I fucking love it!” He pulls me into his arms and swings me around giddily. “I fucking love you.” His mouth captures mine as my feet hit the pavement again. “You have made me so fucking happy, Sienna.” I smile because this man makes me so fucking happy.

“Do you have any idea how hard I am going to be, sitting at my desk, looking out the window of my office and seeing my name there on your building. Knowing that you are telling the world that you are mine and mine only?” His voice drops low, his tone vibrating over my body.

“Baby, I need you, like right now!” He whispers into my ear, sending shivers over my heated skin. “Please tell me you have the shop keys?”

“Yes, here,” I say, handing him the keys.

He swipes them from me, unlocks the front door, pulling me in behind him.

“Fuck, Sienna, you got my dick hard,” he groans, slamming the door shut behind us. Before I know it he has my back pushed up against the wall, his hard pelvis pushing against mine. “I need to fuck you, Sienna.” It is not a request; it is a statement. “I need to show my woman how she is mine.”

I love it when Evan goes all alpha on me, it’s fucking hot and makes me wet. His fingers disappear underneath my skirt, knuckles skimming the cotton of my underwear. “Evan,” I breathlessly moan, feeling his heavy weight against me.

“Yeah, darlin’, I know.” His finger slips underneath the material of my panties finding me wanting.

“I can’t wait until you are legally Mrs. Evan Wyld,” he growls, as his finger slips deeper inside of me.

“I can’t wait until you’re my husband,” I moan as his magic fingers find the sensitive bundle of nerves within me.

“I am going to make you so fucking happy.” Evan smiles against my collarbone as my body begins to tense with my impending orgasm.

“I am so fucking lucky, Sienna. I want to show you every single day how lucky I am to have you.” His teeth bite into my skin; it feels so good. My hands fumble with the buckle of his jeans.

“Evan, I really need your cock inside me,” I complain, which makes him chuckle.

“Always so impatient for me to fuck you aren’t you, sweetheart?”

Just shut up and do it, I scream internally, my fingers trying to pull out his glorious cock, trying to hurry him up. Finally catching up with how frantic I am feeling, Evan’s fingers slip out of me, coating the pink head of his hardness with my wetness. His ocean blue eyes meet mine as he pushes my underwear to the side. Inch by glorious inch he slips into me, our eyes never leaving each other. The intensity hovering all around us.

“Fuck, Sienna, I am never going to get sick of sinking into you.” Feeling Evan fill me, I wrap a leg around his hip helping him to go deeper, his steady rhythm punishing me.

“Sienna Hayes you are mine,” he murmurs into my neck.

  “I am yours,” I pant.

Evan’s hands move from the wall and clasp under my ass, lifting me up higher. I bring my other leg around wrapping myself around him as he continues to fuck me. His prince albert hitting me in that perfect spot it knows so well. I can feel my body start to tingle deep down.

“I’m going to come,” I scream, feeling the sensation wash over me as Evan applies more pressure against my clit with his pelvic piercing. It is one way to guarantee I am soaring. “Evan!” His name echoes through the empty shop, reverberating back over us.

“Yes. Yes. Yes.” Evan chants on a strangled moan as he comes.

We both need a moment as we float back down to earth from our orgasm. Evan pushes my sweaty hair out of my eyes.

“I love you, sweetheart.” He plants a soft kiss on my lips.

“I love you too, Evan Wyld.”

  ***

Shit, I can feel my cheeks are flushed after remembering that moment.

“Look at this gorgeous creature, it’s Evan’s long lost sister,” Derrick flirtatiously greets Carol with a big kiss and cuddle making her blush. They met last night when Derrick was at the house. Luckily Evan is okay with how much Derrick infiltrates our lives. It makes me love him even more knowing that he has welcomed such a big personality that is Derrick Jones. He is very much an acquired taste but that man is loyal to a fault and he is family. If you love me, you have to love him and Evan does in his own special way.

Derrick ushers us inside where we are greeted by dark, wooden floors, oversized white cupboards filled with the latest couture garments from Paris, colorful shoe and bag displays, and glass boxes showing off a rainbow mix of jewels. We wanted the clothes to be displayed like one large walk in closet, like something you might have at home but a more luxurious and larger version of it. Metallic glitter wallpaper lines the walls, an oversized silver gilded mirror stands at the end of the dressing rooms. In the middle of the shop are two beautiful, grey, crushed velvet sofas in an L shape with a gorgeous, large, silver, tree trunk inspired coffee table. Sitting in the middle of it is a large vase filled with an exotic, white orchid floral display. Hanging above is a bubble chandelier made out of fifty glass balls. It’s an amazing piece of art.

Derrick and I were aiming for a decadent, luxe feminine experience when you walked through the doors of the shop, plus if you’re showcasing couture the surroundings ne
eded to match. The front desk is made out of a beautiful slab of Calcutta marble, with a vintage silver cash register which we had modernized to house the iPad point of sale system without losing its charm. Derrick and I love fresh flowers so on either side of the front desk are two oversized vases of orchids, plus a silver tray of cupcakes and cookies for our shoppers to indulge on. We also have a vintage champagne bar set up with a cute little bell that says ‘Ring for Champagne’.

“This is our retail section of the shop,” Derrick explains as we walk through.

“It is stunning,” Carol gushes, her eyes wide with wonderment.

“It’s not a bad place to work.” I smile.

“Follow me, and I will show you to the VIP section of our boutique.” Derrick waves us through, past the grey velvet curtain, down the hallway which opens out to one large open studio. Large glass doors with wooden blinds open out to the back grassed courtyard. This is a perfect spot for our VIP clients to be shielded away from the paparazzi as we have large rows of bamboo that line the back fence giving us a private little oasis in West Hollywood.

“This is Stacey, our assistant,” Derrick introduces.

“Welcome. Yvette and Vanessa will be out in a moment; they are just setting all the dresses up for you next door.” Stacey points to the doors behind her which house our offices.

“Please take a seat.” Derrick points to the silver, crushed velvet lounge. Two white arm chairs sit on the either side of the sofa, another silver tree trunk coffee table and orchid display sits in the middle. Derrick has set up platters of canapés on the coffee table and mini bottles of champagne and apple juice have been set up on the glass vintage dressing table just behind us. Stacey hands us our drinks, as I tuck into the canapés which are beef sliders, tacos, jacket potatoes and sushi as well as yummy mini churros, chocolate dipped strawberries and mini donuts.

“Carol,” Vanessa calls out as she walks into the room with Yvette, giving Evan’s mum a big hug.

“Hey, sweetheart, how are you?” Carol greets her.

“Good, good, the boys have been keeping me busy,” Vanessa says as they catch up.

“Sienna,” Yvette smiles, walking toward me.

“It is so good to see you again.” As she gives me a French double cheek kiss.

I haven’t seen Yvette since my engagement in Paris.

“Look at your belly, it’s so cute.” She rubs my little Buddha belly.

I roll my eyes. “He doesn’t stop kicking me, the little terror.”

“How dare you speak about my godson like that,” Derrick chimes in.

“Oh really, and when were you going to tell me about becoming the Godfather?”

“Please, like anyone else is going to be qualified for the position,” he states arrogantly.

  “What about Jake?”

“I am more than happy to share myself with that boy,” he chuckles.

I slap him on the arm. “You leave Jake alone. I think you traumatized him last night. You know he’s straight, right?” I remind him because if Derrick sees something he likes he goes for it. Nine times out of ten he usually convinces the said straight guy into going home with him. I don’t know how he does it, nor do I want to know, but Derrick does get off on seducing straight men.

“Please, everyone is a little bit curved,” he replies with a wink.

I grab him by the arm getting his attention. “D, please that’s Evan’s brother.” I warn.

“Shit you’re being serious?” Derrick looks at me. “Si, I wouldn’t do that. I know Jake is straight, there is most definitely no curious vibes being given off in that direction and even if there was I wouldn’t, he’s family and I don’t mess with that,” he clarifies, giving me a genuine smile.

I put my arms around him, “Thanks D.”

“Oh hush now, I know those pregnancy hormones are causing you to go crazy.” He makes me giggle, but I still punch him in the arm.

“Okay, let’s get the dress showing underway. I have also brought the bridesmaid dresses and some mother of the groom dresses as well,” Yvette announces with a smile.

  ***

“Sorry I’m late.” Isla bursts through the door, greets Carol, then the rest of us. “I kind of had a date,” she confesses.

The room goes quiet, we know that something has happened between Isla and Finn but with him being best friends with her brother, Oscar, sort of complicates it.

“Oh and who was the lucky man?” Derrick asks.

Isla’s cheeks go pink. “Um, Wes.”

“What! No way, Wes Cooper from California Bros.?” I remember when I was first seeing Evan, he took us to their bar after getting tattoos. Wes is one of the brothers who own the microbrewery, tattoo shop and barber. He was very keen to ask her out. Finn tried to put a stop to it but Isla shot him down.

“It was just a picnic on the beach at his home down on Venice Beach, because he knew I was coming here.”

“Did you kiss him?” Vanessa asks.

Isla goes red. Oh my God, she so did kiss him.

“Yes, but that is all I am saying,” she giggles.

“You dirty little ho. I approve.” Derrick gives her a high five.

“Well good for you honey, maybe Finn might finally decide how he feels about you, now you have someone courting you,” Carol pipes in, silencing the room.

Shit, did she know about Finn and Isla?

Isla smiles. “How embarrassing that even Carol remembers my stupid teenage girl crush.”

Carol waves her hands and walks over to Isla. “He is a fool to think he can do any better than you, sweetheart. I think you have wasted enough time waiting for him. You deserve to be happy and if this Wes guy is it, then go for it.”

  “Thanks, I think I might.”

“Okay enough gossip, we have shopping to do.” Derrick claps his hands getting everyone’s attention to turn to the racks of dresses that are now standing before us.

“Happy Thanksgiving,” Derrick hollers from the level below. It’s way too early for this. Rubbing my eyes, I descend down the stairs from my warm and toasty bed.

“Morning, babe,” Sienna greets me as I enter the foyer.

I pull her into my arms. “You’re up early,” I snuggle against her warm skin.

“Someone had to let the caterers in this morning,” she states, raising an eyebrow at me.

Turning, I look into our kitchen and it is filled with men running around in white coats, a hive of non-stop activity.

“Sorry, I guess I slept past my alarm.” I might have had one too many beers after the Sons of Brooklyn’s concert last night with Dad, Jake, Derrick, and Charlotte.

“Momma Wyld, happy Thanksgiving,” Derrick greets my mom as she enters the room.

“Oh, sugar don’t you look handsome,” Mom replies with a smile, giving Derrick a big hug, then raining kisses on his cheeks.

“Please, look at you,” Derrick compliments Mom, making her giggle.

I told my parents that Derrick and Sienna were a package deal before they came to LA. From the moment Mom met Derrick she fell in love with him. It’s kind of hard not to, his larger than life personality makes him hard to resist, plus as Mom puts it, the boy is one hot tamale. When Derrick confessed over dinner that he has no family because he is gay, then proceeded to tell us the story why, he brought Mom to tears. She could never understand how a parent could turn their back on their child. Mom declared that she would love to be his surrogate Texan Momma. They were going to be family now when Sienna and I married. Derrick made sure that Jake knew that it wouldn’t be weird if they wanted to make out now that they were family. Poor Jake he’s been trying to defend himself from Derrick’s advances since he arrived.

“Y’all, should I be worried?” My dad walks into the room laughing, surveying the scene of the handsome man wrapped around his wife.

“Papa bear, please you know that woman only has eyes for you,” Derrick adds.

“Only when you have your shirt on she does,” my dad jo
kes, making Mom go the color of a tomato.

Mom was fanning herself last night when Derrick stripped off to his underwear and jumped into the heated pool after dinner. The man works out, he looks good and D knows it as well, cocky fucker.

“Morning everyone.” Charlotte joins us in the living room, taking a seat in Dad’s lap, just like she did when she was younger.

“Baby girl, you get more beautiful each time I see you.” Dad stares at her in awe.

“Damn straight she is, Charlotte has many admirers lurking around,” Derrick adds.

  Dad and I both stiffen.

“Oh hush you two, she’s a grown woman, she hasn’t been a baby girl in years,” my mom chastises.

“Well I have a safe full of guns, sweetheart, if any boy breaks your heart just send them my way,” Dad adds sternly, making Charlotte groan at his over protectiveness.

“Sienna, look at you, I swear your belly has popped overnight,” Mom declares with a smile and greeting her with a hug. Her hands automatically going to Sienna’s rounded belly. “Look at this beautiful belly.” Mom’s face lights up; she has been looking forward to the day that she has a grandchild. I’m sure she thought I would surprise her by accidentally knocking up some groupie., Thankfully that never happened.

“Nothing fits me anymore,” Sienna groans. “Luckily it’s getting cooler so I can live in leggings and sweaters.”

I think Sienna’s ever changing body is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, her breasts are fuller, rounder, her stomach is showing the life that is growing inside of her.

“I think you are even more beautiful than the day I met you,” I tell her, kissing her on the forehead.

“He’s a hopeless romantic, that boy,” Mom declares. “And next year we will have an extra family member for Thanksgiving,” she adds.

A lump forms in my throat realizing the magnitude of that statement, my eyes bounce around my family huddled around the room. Next year’s Thanksgiving we will have Bean running around or maybe he will be crawling around, shit!

“Yeah, son, we couldn’t be prouder.” I feel my emotions bubbling to the surface, shit maybe I’m getting sympathy pregnancy hormones. I’m never normally this emotional.
