  She stepped inside the bedroom.

“Oh, my goodness!” She gasped, placing her hands over her mouth as she took in the place.

Standing there in a red button-down shirt, black flared pants, and red and white striped heels, she was a thing of beauty. Her hair hung in two long twists on each side, flowing past her shoulders and down her back. Gold, dream-catcher-style earrings dangled from her lobes and a matching gold piercing adorned her nostril.

“Tristan, you didn’t! You already sent flowers and a cake to my job, honey. You didn’t have to do all of this!”

Her eyes sheened with gratitude. He rounded the bed and took her into his arms before placing a soft kiss against her beautiful lips.

“Yes, I did. You deserve it. Happy birthday, baby.”

He reached over to the nightstand and handed her a glass of wine. The room smelled divine if he said so himself, with the chocolate cheesecake scented candles filling the space.

After taking a hearty sip of the wine, she let her purse slip to the floor.

“You must think it’s your birthday, too. Birthday sex is a two for one deal.” She giggled before placing the wine down on a small glass table beside her and working her heels off.

“It’s definitely a two for one deal, a domino effect that I very much appreciate.” He smirked as he watched her undress, his dick jumping at the sight of her.

  Yeah… take it all off…

“Since it’s my birthday, it’s obvious that you’ve taken care of all of the arrangements,” she said with a wink.

She slid onto the bed, a big, proud smile on her face as she glided her gorgeous naked form all over the rose petals. She moved so sensuously, like a tawny tide, fluid and natural. Her hips, now tattooed with warrior stripes from giving birth to their six-month-old daughter, gave him an all new level of respect and attraction for her.

“Of course, I did. Patrice is watching Amara tonight. She volunteered actually when I told her what I was up to. We don’t have to pick the baby up until tomorrow morning. I dropped off the breast milk, several changes of clothing, everything. I took care of it all, don’t you worry. We’re all alone. So, you know what that means… It’s an all-nighter.”

In a matter of seconds, he was next to her, then inside of her. Clasping their hands together, he loved her down and easy, gentle as a breeze. He kept it steady, his thrusts evenly timed to her desperate moans as he delivered it just how she loved it.

Nestling close to her neck, he sucked gently, then harder. Pulling away, he drifted low, shoved her warm thighs apart, and lapped up her juices with a hungry tongue. She called out his name as he ran his fingers against her pussy, her clit swelling at the slightest touch. At last, she burst free, cumming undone before he had her again and again, turning her every which way but loose.

When he needed to release, he drove back within her, holding her so close, they became one soul. He felt his groans emerge from his core as he freed his need, cumming deep inside of her, his eyes shut and sweat running down his face. Moments later, he was lying flat on his back, panting hard and heavy, and they both looked up at the ceiling, hand in hand. He turned to look at her, get his fill of his woman, gorgeous as she was…

  She’s all mine… sweet surrender…

Pulling her close, he whispered in her ear, “It’s time to open your present.”

“Is this the part where you tell me you want some head like this past Christmas? Another joke of yours.” She smirked, causing him to burst out laughing.

  “I didn’t do that.”

“Yes, you did and you know it. Anyway, where is this present because I damn sure looked everywhere and couldn’t find it?”

Getting up from the bed, he opened the closet doors and went inside, closing them before she could see him digging about in his gym bag.

“It couldn’t have been in the closet, Tristan!” the woman screamed out. “I checked that out from top to bottom.”

He chuckled. Carmen had absolutely no shame regarding her snooping and didn’t even bother to hide her devious ways. He emerged with the gold box and presented it to her, lying close to her in the bed. She hesitated, her eyes gleaming with anticipation, before tearing it open. Boy, did she love surprises…

She looked down into the box, then removed a glass model of a crystal doll house with a red cross symbol.

“It’s… it’s beautiful.” She smiled, looking a bit confused.

He laughed. “You have no idea what that’s for, so I’m going to tell you. It’s a glass hospital. I had it specially made for you. You place it in your office, in the lobby by the receptionist. It’s a donation box.” He pointed to a tiny slit at the top where the roof was.

“Ahhhh! How sweet and practical, honey!”

“I’m not finished. For every dollar that is donated, my company will match that. The donation box is for women who are pregnant but don’t have health insurance for their doctor’s visits.”

Now, the woman burst into tears. Shoving her head against his chest, she shook against him, overcome with joy. Though he hated seeing her cry, this time, he was all right with it. He gently stroked her hair as she had her moment. Slowly, she lifted her head.

“That is the most perfect gift, besides our daughter, you could have ever given me, Tristan. Thank you!”

She hugged him again, tighter, harder, stronger. They lay together, basking in their love, and the flow of emotions from paying it forward to one another. The blessings he’d received just kept coming, but he needed to be open to change, to a new life, a new beginning.

My head was always turned downward, my horns up, my rage deep within. Now I look up at the sky, thankful for the sun, and pour my hopes and dreams, and my concerns, too, into this woman right here. She gave us a family of our own… a beautiful existence. I fell in love with this lady because she intrigued me, she understood me, she’s exciting… and yet, she has a few old-fashioned ways about her, too. Cupid came and got me. He grabbed me by the horns and that was it…

Bullseye! She’s got me mind, body, and soul…
