Susalai : Supreme Commander of the Avuzdel
Susyc : Lai – Commander of a fleet of spaceships

Vadath : Country between Argyll and Lind on the northern continent, ruled jointly by humans and Lind
Vadeln-pair : Paired life-mate (Lind/human), often shortened to vadeln or pair
Volat : Needless slaying of any creature
WCCS : World Coalition Colony Ship
WCMS : World Coalition Military Ship
WCPS : World Coalition Prison Ship
WCCS Argyll : Colony Ship that survived the cosmic storm and landed on Rybak
WCCS Latvia : Colony Ship, presumably destroyed
WCCS Melbourne : Colony Ship, presumably destroyed

Xrndli : Vulture-like raptor, after a battle they descend on the field and eat the dead

About the Author
Paws and Planets was written by Scottish author Candy Rae, a life-long fan of fantasy fiction. She has realised her unique ambition of completing a five book series about the mysterious Planet Wolf. The series is not just the untested product of her fertile imagination; they have been carefully crafted to appeal to the discerning reader and enthusiastically endorsed by a small, independent and demanding focus-group. Readers of the books will become aware of the secret sub plot which runs through the series and which will keep them engrossed until it is revealed.
The novels are accompanied by a full glossary of names and places and a guide to the various languages and cultures discovered as the story unfolds.
