All This Time: A Billionaire, Bad Boy Romance (Fated Loves Book 3)

“I promised to devour you, Flower, so straddle your pretty little thighs around my head.”
Her breath hitched as I picked her up and moved her core to my face, where I could inhale all of her. The scent of her, of this woman who had bared herself to me, had me salivating to taste her.
My lips ran a path of kisses and nibbles on the insides of her thighs, paying particular attention to the little scars. Her moans did wicked things to me. When I had enough of the appetizer, I slid my tongue along her slit, parting it, gaining access to her. I was ready for the feast and the taste of her.
She was all new to me. I took my time investigating every inch of her with my tongue. It wasn’t long before her wetness dripped down my chin into a satisfying puddle. Drowning in her taste would be a most pleasant way to go. I’d have no problem with that.
My tongue lashed inside of her and worked her clit. In the slight moonlit haze of the room, I glanced up and watched her writhe and play with her nipples. Enough of a pleasant view, even in the darkness.
I found her nub, the hard crystal of her clit, and I worked it between licks and sucks and quick flicks of my tongue. A little scream escaped her when she tangled her fingers in my hair and started bucking against my face.
“Ooh, Jace. What you’re doing to me.”
Her moans spurred me on, desperate to hear her call my name again. My mouth never stopped working her until one final bold swipe of my tongue had her thighs shaking all around me. She spun out of control with her breath coming in soft pants, but I relentlessly pursued more of her for another round. Within minutes, she rewarded me with another climax rocking through her entire body.
Yes, I did that. I was the creator of this entire experience for her, like a conductor of an orchestra making the finest music. And the beast inside me wanted to roar.
I maneuvered her to her back and kissed up her torso, gently, taking my time. My lips travelled, lingering on each breast, hearing her shattered breaths return to satisfied sighs. I found her mouth, and she greedily tasted herself on me.
“Happy?” I asked.
“Mm. Very. You?”
My cock twitched, begging to know the feel of her. It wasn’t fair that my mouth got all the glory. I ground myself into her core. “I could be happier,” I teased.
For a petite thing, she managed pushing me over to my back and straddled me. “Let me see what I can do.” Her lips kissed down my torso, her fingers deftly unbuttoned my jeans, every sensation prickled shivers up and down my spine. After lifting my hips, she eased my pants down, letting my cock out to play.
“Hello, Jace,” a sultry side of her voice sang into my ears.
My groan was louder than hers as she took my cock in her hands, working me from bottom to tip and back down. Movements of her hands at first slow, as if she were gauging my exact girth and length, then they quickened. In combination with her mouth around my head, sucking me and teasing me with her tongue, it wasn’t long until a faster pace drove me over the edge. Like a cliff, I jumped off. And I’d jump a thousand times more for her.
There was no hurry. I curled up beside her, bringing her into me for a rest. My big spoon to her little spoon, I held her, hearing her breathing fall into a deep sleep.
In my mind, there wasn’t a scenario where Lily and I weren’t together from this point forward. All we needed was to enjoy the ride together and not let anything tear us apart.
I awoke to a warm body next to mine, and it wasn’t Sammie’s. It was Lily’s. The sunlight from the window beamed through the sheer curtain, landing at her leg over the top of mine, and falling across the bed. It brightened all the colors of my quilt, as if everything in my life was new again. And it was with Lily in it.
I raised up on one elbow and watched her sleep beautifully, mussed up hair and all. Her cheeks rosy and her lips red from overuse through the night—how many times had we kissed? A million? I lost count. One long night of passionate sex and a little sleep had turned my mind to jelly, and I still wanted more.
Last night we moved together in the dark, where I could hide my scarred self away and pretend my skin was smooth and clear. She couldn’t see me, but I couldn’t see her either. This morning, in full sunlight, the sheet barely covered her, leaving her breasts in full view. My cock twitched alive again.
When I moved to bring the sheet up to cover us both, she awoke. Her sleepy blue eyes stared at me and her swollen lips drew into a sly smile. I leaned down and kissed them, the taste of our sex on them making me harder.
“Morning, Flower.”
“Morning.” Her eyes travelled a path down the sheet, and stopped at my groin, where my cock rose under it. She grinned, and I tucked her into me for a hug.
“I wish I could say I have time for more this morning, but I have calls to make before I head to the station. Rain check for later?”
“Hm. Yes, I think I could fit you into my busy schedule.” She snuggled against my chest.
“So, last night was . . .” Damn, I wish I could form into words everything I was feeling. “And I’d like more of it.”
“Me too.” After another kiss, she pulled away, taking one of my button-down shirts off the floor and putting her naked body into it. The sight of her was sexy as hell. It’d be worth it to call in sick.
Before I left for work, I brought her tea and a bagel. She was standing near the front of the store, hovering over boxes, while talking to Simon and Beverly. I liked the view of her backside in a tan skirt that hugged her curves. Little red buttons trailed down the center, down her ass, all the way to a little pleated bottom, revealing sexy red heels underneath. The woman dressed with an old-fashioned sophistication that got my heart pumping for the day.
“Good Morning. Lily, I brought you breakfast. Beverly, I expect you’ll make sure she eats today?”
“I’ll do my best.” Beverly beamed at me.
“Simon, how are things?”
He eyed Lily and me as we stood together with goofy grins on our faces. “Jeez, you two fucked, didn’t you?”
“Simon!” Lily dropped her head into her hands, and I brought her closer to me, nestling my hand into the small of her back, pressing her into me.
“Why yes, Simon, we did. A lot.” I lifted Lily’s chin up. “And it was perfect. And there’s more where that came from.”
Her smile spread ear to ear, giving me a confidence boost that was sky high. I covered her grin with my lips, collecting a few more kisses to keep my high going and send me off to work.
When the door to the shop opened, we looked up. Frank stood there, his mouth dropped to the floor.
“Lily? I-I didn’t see you walk to the shop this morning. Figured I’d make sure you were okay.” He snorted and shook his head at me. “Guess you are.”
I passed by him on my way to the door and my ego couldn’t resist rubbing it in. “No need to worry Frank, I’ll be protecting Lily from now on.” I left him there to figure out that I’d be the one Lily wanted to touch her every day.

“Okay, keep your eyes closed under the blindfold, no peeking.” Jace stood in front of me with my hands in his. I shuffled forward as he pulled me over and stopped. I heard the door open and felt his hand with mine, once again shuffling forward. “Stop, but don’t look yet. I want to capture your first reaction with my phone.”
“Hurry, the suspense is killing me. I don’t know what you’ve done but I hope I like it.” I was so excited when he texted asking if I’d come up to the apartment after work to see something he created in the second bedroom.
I heard him come close to me again. His lips latched to mine, and his tongue sought entrance. I gladly relinquished it to him. The feeling of our mouths seeking pleasure together had become so common, but still left me breathless every time. With his tie as a blindfold around my eyes, it was even more titillating.
“Okay, ready? One, two, three, look.”
I tore the blindfold ov
er my head and gasped. It stunned me into silence. The only sound was the shutter click of his phone taking photos.
Jace’s smile disappeared. “Oh no. You don’t like it?”
I wasn’t sure what to think at first after taking a few steps to the nearest shelf. Along three walls of the bedroom were floor to ceiling bookshelves created from black steel industrial piping, and dark wood planks set on top of each. He stacked some of his paperbacks on one shelf and I inspected a few of them. Pride and Prejudice. 1984. Catcher in the Rye.
“I know you own a bookstore, but I thought maybe you have your own personal collection and would like a library room to keep them in. Maybe put a plush chair in here, some lighting, and make it your own private reading nook.”
I still didn’t utter a word, and he shifted on his feet and scratched at the back of his neck. “If you don’t like it, I can take it down.”
“I’m sorry, I don’t like it. I love it.” My arms flung around his neck. “My own library! This was totally unexpected. Oh! I’ll be right back. Don’t move.”
There’s always a perfect moment for everything and this might be it. I ran down the stairs to my office, grabbed the package I was thinking of, then ran back up to him. He was still standing in the room with a bewildered face.
“Are you sure it’s okay? I should have asked you or consulted with you about the design or the materials I used, but I wanted to surprise you.”
“Jace, I love it. I can’t believe you did this for me. How very romantic of you?” I stood on my toes and gave him a kiss. “Now, open this.”
He took the package I held out and gave it a once over. “Feels like a book.”
“I had intended to give it to Blue92 when we finally met. And here you are.” At last, the transformation from Blue92 online to Jace in front of me was complete. He was quickly becoming everything to me. I wish I knew for sure if he felt the same.
He made quick work of unwrapping it. Inside was a hardcover book of an author we both loved.
“Open the cover,” I instructed.
He did and read out loud the message in my handwriting on the page.
To Blue92,
Words have such power.
The power to hurt.
The power to heal.
The power to love.
Flower65.
“Like the words we used during our chats, getting to know each other. They really had power, didn’t they? They brought us together. Should I put it on the bookshelf for you?”
A grin melted across his face. “I love it. Thanks, Flower. And when I see it, I’ll think of you.”
I slipped the book in between a row of paperbacks on a shelf at about his eye level. “There, the room is christened now.”
“I don’t know. I think there’s something else we can do in this room.” He brought me in for a long hug and grazed my neck with those big lips of his.
This. Exactly what I’d always hoped for. But the thought that maybe the book’s permanent home would be somewhere else when he moved out, when he finished the remodels, ate away at me. Each time he scratched another small thing off the list, or planned out some of the bigger projects, was a step closer to uncertainty. This interesting living arrangement had slammed us together, and little did I know I’d like having him around so much.
Selfishly, I wanted to think up a whole new list of a hundred things needing fixed. In such a short time, I was used to seeing him around, visiting after work, and spending evenings with him. But when he moved out, what then?
By the end of the week, the library room had character. Jace had added remote controlled ambient lighting along the top of the shelves. I added several scented candles and brought in colorful rugs and pillows from my room at Maddie’s place.
When I had an oversized, extra large bean bag delivered, he laughed at me. “Somehow I pictured something more refined, like your chaise lounge down in the bookstore. I didn’t picture a beanbag in the library room.”
“Come on. Bean bags are the best. Trust me, it’s just what the space needs.”
His stereo with an old record player, along with his small vinyl collection, now occupied one end of the shelves, and his paperback collection had filled the other end. I added a few books from my collection—and a Pyrex dish or two for fun. He added a quirky little collection of wooden birds. For me, the room was complete.
As we settled into the library room together for the first time that evening, each with glasses of wine, Jace reached up and took down his guitar that he had mounted to the wall. He settled on the floor, leaning against large pillows, and picked a few tunes on the strings. I read a book, lounging across the beanbag, while he serenaded me. There could be no concentrating on my story when I had a sexy man smoldering his eyes at me and singing like that.
With a mellow voice like fog on velvet, he drew me in with a sultry ballad. Snuggled under a blanket, I pushed my glasses up my nose and sipped my wine. To me, this was comfortable, and I pushed aside any thoughts about our time together having an expiration.
He stopped singing, and I caught him staring at me. “What are you thinking?”
He set the guitar aside and opened his legs, patting the floor between them. “Come here and I’ll show you.”
“But I’m getting to the sexy part in this book. I can’t be interrupted now.” I threw the book off to the side. “Just kidding. I’d trade all my smutty books for this with you anytime.”
“This is pretty great between us, isn’t it?”
I snuggled my back into him, our arms wrapped together, and I moaned. “Mm. Yes. It is.”
Soon the heat between us ramped up and his lips brushed across my neck. Ripples of sensation moved throughout my body, warming to his pleasure. His hands explored, one under my shirt pleasing my nipple, the other up my skirt, feeling me through the fabric of my panties.
He hissed, “You’re already wet for me, Flower.”
“I might have been thinking of you all day.” Our sex together had been building up in intensity almost nightly, and my daydreams of him took up too much of my time daily. My To Do list was a mile long at the shop and not getting done.
I took off my sundress and shimmied my panties to my knees. He unclipped my bra, and I settled back into him. The warmth of his arms circled me again. His hands returned to their places, only this time his fingers parted my slit.
“What thoughts do you have about me? Sexy ones?”
A groan escaped my throat when his fingers made quick work of locating my clit, because he knew his way around my body now. I lost myself in his stroking, and his chest heaved against my back. “Yes.”
“Do you think of me doing this to you?” The depth and speed of his fingers lit my fire, commanding me to writhe and meet their tempo.
I pulled his head down so our lips could enjoy this time together too, but it wasn’t long until he had me breathless, whispering his name. “Yes, Jace . . . Do you think of me while you’re at work?”
“All the time. I’ve thought about texting you, telling you what I’d like to do to you. Would you like that, Flower?”
I could only nod, my concentration spent on his motions and how he pleased me. With him, I held no doubts about the intention of his touches. Every inch of my body drew life from his energy until I teetered on the edge.
Feeling every penetrating force into me, when his motions intensified, sizzling sensations whipped through me in a white hot wave. My body was humming and burning all at once as I let it all go. There, up in the clouds, I floated for a minute, with no fear of coming down because his arms caught me, cradled me, and let me rest . . . until I was ready to please him.
His hard cock knocked on my back and I already planned exactly what I’d do when it was his turn. “I have something new in mind for us tonight.” I reached for my bag and found an item I brought with me, hoping he’d be open to trying something.
His head jerked back, seeing the bottle of lotion in my hands. “Scar Massage Cream?”
/> I nodded. “Would you let me give you a massage?” I batted my eyelashes and kissed him again in case he needed more coaxing. “Research online talks all about scar massage for burn victims. I think I could make you feel so good.” Moving to his earlobe where I sucked and kissed drove him crazy until he agreed.
“Okay, only because I’d do anything for you. I’m sure you know that by now.”
“Aww. So sweet.” I kissed his nose and winked. “I’ll try not to take too much advantage of that.”
“Yeah, right.” He moved toward the light switch.
“If it’s dark, I won’t be able to see where I’m massaging. How about candlelight?” Little by little, I had earned Jace’s trust. I longed for him to reveal himself to me without flinching, without hesitation. The massage might help get him there.
He nodded in agreement.
“Good, a massage is even more romantic by candlelight.”
After lighting several vanilla scented candles, flooding the room in soft fragrance and light, everything was ready.
He stood in the middle of the room, still hesitant. “Scar massage with my girlfriend is a whole new level of trust for me, but I’m here for it.”
I cocked my head. “Girlfriend?”
He brought my naked body into him again, his hands landing on my ass and squeezing. “Yeah, do you have a problem being my girlfriend?”
I beamed. “No problem at all.” Finally, I had someone special in my life. I almost cried. Did he see my heart reflected back to him in my tender gaze?
“Now, let’s get you ready. Shirt off.”
He reached up, pulling his shirt over his head. It landed on the floor beside us.
My hands, that had become so familiar with him in the dark, traced the ridges of his muscles and found the edges of his scars. I sensed him flinching, freezing, then relaxing.
