His fingers stopped. “What are you wearing in the fantasy?” he asked, and it was impossible to miss the fact that he was getting off on her fantasy.

“Nothing,” she said. “We’re both naked and the hair on your thighs is rubbing against my nipples.” While that was true, she was picking out the parts that would tease him most.

“Damn! You make me crazy,” Justin said and spread her legs some to slide two fingers inside of her. “You’re so hot,” he murmured as he worked her with his fingers. “I’ve missed being inside of you so much.”

Caitlin whimpered and moved against his hand. She felt completely vulnerable to Justin in this position and she loved it. She trusted Justin. Most of all, she wanted Justin.

  “Make me come,” she demanded.

Justin chuckled. He pulled his fingers out and spanked her again, this time directly across the center and low. “Why am I surprised that you’re giving me orders while I spank your ass. Still doing okay?”

“Yes,” she panted out and was relieved when his hand started to come down on her ass again, it was all over and she was suddenly aware of the way his jeans rubbed against her breasts which were only covered by a lacy bra and his shirt.

  “Ahhhhhhh. Please.”

His hand stopped spanking and started to massage her ass again, spreading the stinging sensation. It hurt but felt good at the same time. “Be more specific, Caitlin,” he ordered. “Please stop, or please spank you more.”

Both sets of cheeks were hot with embarrassment.

“Give in,” he coaxed. “Just give in and tell me what you want. I’ll take care of you.”

“Please spank me more,” she said almost desperately. “It feels so good!”

That was the last of the words spoken before Justin’s hand came down on her in a steady rhythm, warming her all over. He had spanked her harder before, but the speed of the swats and the steady rhythm made the sting even more intense. She had long since given up on controlling the needy sounds that slipped past her lips. Every part of her body was alive with sensation and her insides got tighter and tighter until she orgasmed. The orgasm wasn’t as intense as the ones she had during sex, but combined with the spanking and her own submission it was enough to make her scream.

Justin massaged her ass while the spasms subsided. His erection was throbbing beneath her.

“Tell me more about the fantasy,” he said, his voice hoarse.

“After you’re done, you tie me to the bed and blindfold me.”

“Bondage?” he asked in surprise. “Are you going to let me tie you up?”

She hesitated. “Yes, but I prefer having you pin me down with your body.”

Justin flipped her over and settled her on his lap so she was straddling him. “Did I ever tell you about the first time I saw you?”

Caitlin nodded. “I took the last Coke or something like that.”

“It was a Cherry Coke, but that’s not what I meant. I saw you walking across the courtyard wearing shorts and sexy sandals that wrapped around your long legs. All I could think about was how good you’d look tied to my bed.”

Caitlin put a hand over her mouth, pretending to be shocked. “Such impure thoughts about an ordinary human.”

He chuckled and yanked the shirt until the buttons came flying off, then he slid it down her arms and undid her bra. “Yeah, I thought you were human and too young, but I was still fantasizing about you. Even crazier was the fact that I’d never even considered bondage before.”

“You’ve never shown any interest in tying me up.” Caitlin was finding it hard to concentrate with Justin playing with her nipple.

“I prefer controlling you with my body,” he said. “Don’t worry; I plan on tying you up. In fact, I’ve collected quite an interesting array of things that I’ve fantasized about using in our sex play. Lucky you, I still have them in my room here.”

Caitlin’s mouth went dry at the idea of what he might have. “What kinds of things?”

Justin chuckled. “I have a lot of different things to restrain you with.” He grabbed her wrists and held them behind her back. “There are toys to pleasure you with.” He took one of her nipples into his mouth and sucked hard. When Caitlin whimpered and started to rock against his erection, he released her nipple. “Then I have all the things I want to spank that sweet ass of yours with.”

“I’m not sure I could handle more than your hand,” Caitlin admitted.

“You’ll handle it fine,” Justin assured her. “I don’t suppose you have any condoms hidden on you, do you?”

“They’re in your room,” she said.

Justin groaned. “Why couldn’t you run that direction?”

Caitlin grinded against him. “Did I tell you I changed birth control?”

Justin shook his head and gripped her hips to pull her closer.

“I have the Nuvaring now. It’s in so we’re safe if you want to skip the condom this time.”

Justin lifted Caitlin off of his lap and stripped out of his clothes. Caitlin let her bra drop to the floor but left her panties in place. Standing naked before her, Justin was just as sexy as always. He was well‑muscled, but not in a bulky way. He was sleek and strong, built the way she liked a man.

“If you keep looking at me like that, I may go off before I even get inside of you,” Justin said as he reached out and pulled her close.

She gave him a sexy smile. “Now that would be a shame. I might have to punish you if that were to happen.”

Justin dropped to his knees in front of her. “Then I suppose I’d better do something to put you in a better mood.”

“You don’t have to do that,” Caitlin insisted. “I’m more than ready to have you in me right now.”

He ran his tongue along her thong and shuddered. “I love tasting you, and it’s been too long.”

Rather than sliding the thong down, he grabbed the sides and ripped it in half. Before Caitlin could form a complaint he nipped her hip. “Spread your legs,” he ordered.

Caitlin happily obeyed, and his tongue stroked her clit in agonizingly slow strokes. She moved her hips against his hot mouth.

Justin slid two fingers into her and curled them to hit the right spot. He sucked her clit into his mouth and tongued it.

“That feels so good.” Caitlin was surprised she was able to utter a coherent sentence.

His teeth grazed her clit and Caitlin jerked in surprise at first, then she relaxed into the sensation. It felt strange but good. When she started to lose her balance, Justin settled her back onto the sofa without taking his mouth off of her. He sucked and licked until she was screaming and begging for more. Justin gave her more, working her clit with his tongue until she came completely undone.

Justin flipped her onto her knees and thrust into her from behind before the last of her spasms subsided. She screamed from the sensation.

Before Justin, Caitlin had never had multiple orgasms, but he fit her so perfectly that she always had at least two when they were together. She was close to climaxing again and already making frantic mewling sounds. She needed Justin to move a little faster, but he seemed determined to drive her insane with slow thrusts. Caitlin pushed back and grinded her hips against him. It had the desired affect when he groaned.

His hand came down on her ass, and she pushed back again. “Stop trying to make me lose control,” he panted out. “I’m too close to the edge as it is.”

“I need you to move faster,” she begged.

Justin leaned forward and reached around her front. His finger stroked her clit while he continued his slow tortuous strokes.

Caitlin moved against his finger which was bringing her close to the edge. Just as she was about to orgasm again, he changed the tempo of his strokes making her whimper in frustration.

“Don’t worry, baby,” he crooned. “I’m going to give you your orgasm. Tell me what you want me to do.”

“Fuck me hard,” she ground out.

He did as she ordered and slammed
into her body. Three thrusts were all it took to bring her to a mind‑blowing climax.

Justin reached forward and grabbed her hair as he thrust into her hard. “You feel so incredible,” he said and deep emotion poured out of him, washing over Caitlin’s body. “I’ve missed you so much. I love you,” he rasped out before finding his own release inside of her.

  Chapter Seven

Lying behind Caitlin, many emotions rolled through Justin, but that was nothing new. Holding Caitlin always brought out a barrage of feelings. For so many years, he’d been practically numb, and he’d never expected to experience love this intense.

Their heights were perfect for spooning. Caitlin fit him perfectly in every way. Yeah, it had started as an obsession. He’d wanted her, something that hadn’t happened in longer than he could remember. That desire had made him determined to have her. Then he’d gotten to know Caitlin and realized she made him feel whole. No, it was more than that; she made him feel. For many years, his work had been the only thing he’d been passionate about. Suddenly life had gone from black and white to vivid colors, and Caitlin was the sole reason for that change. Sure, he cared about his brother and mom. Despite their history, he even cared about his father. Still, his emotions involving Caitlin were new territory.

When she’d been taken, he’d nearly lost it, something that had never happened before. For most of his life his emotions had been kept under control, but hearing that Caitlin was in danger shattered that control. The only thing that had kept him from going completely out of his mind was the knowledge that Caitlin needed him.

His fingers trailed over the scars on her belly, and he was surprised that the usual rage wasn’t building inside of him at the sight of those scars.

“I killed Dominic,” he said. “The second I heard he’d taken you, I planned to kill the bastard.”

“Dominic needed to die,” Caitlin said, “and you probably did it in a much more humane way than Roman would have.”

Justin continued to trace the scars he’d avoided for months. “Do you think I’m crazy for feeling bad that it was humane? I feel like I should’ve done more.”

When Caitlin rolled in his arms to face him, Justin smiled at the expression on her face. “This may sound crazy,” he said, “but I love it when you look at me like I’m an idiot.”

“You are an idiot,” she said. “What more could you have done with Dominic? Dead is dead. Making him suffer wouldn’t have changed anything or made me feel any better. In fact, I’m glad you didn’t make him suffer. You’re a doctor, not a killer. Even though you act distant around people, you became a doctor to help people, and I love that part of you. I don’t want you to be a person who enjoys causing pain even when someone deserves it.”

“Sorry I’ve been so weird about everything,” he said. “I should’ve been there for you more.”

“Okay, I’m going to be nice to you for a little while, but don’t get used to it,” she warned.

His lips twitched. “I wouldn’t dream of expecting you to be nice on a regular basis. Maybe you could try for special occasions like birthdays.”

“Do you have any idea when you were born?” she asked.

That was a reasonable question since his family wasn’t big on birthdays. Each of them had falsified birth certificates with a date they selected.

“The birth certificate I’m using for school says February 29, 1992,” he said.

“Leap day?” she asked incredulously. “When making up a birthday, you picked leap day?”

“This way I’m only forced to deal with some idiot singing to me every few years,” he explained. “No cake is good enough to put up with that stupid birthday song.”

Caitlin leaned forward and kissed the corner of his mouth. “God, I’ve missed this side of you. That sickening sweet side made me want to smack the hell out of you. Yeah, I get that you were trying to take care of me, but that was part of the problem. While you were busy trying to make me feel better you ignored the stuff you were going through.”

“You were the one who was . . .” his voice trailed off.

“Say it,” she said and stroked his cheek. “Say the word. We can’t move past this by pretending it didn’t happen.”

“You were the one who was tortured,” he said and didn’t miss the crack in his own voice. “God, Caitlin, those assholes tortured you. When you got home you wouldn’t even talk to me. I’ve never felt so helpless before. Things might have been better if I’d left you in the hospital longer, but all I wanted was to get you home and take care of you.”

Caitlin kissed him gently. “Bringing me home was the right thing to do; I wanted to go home. The worst part was afterwards. Things were so different between us. After years of telling you to leave me alone, I’d finally realized I didn’t want you to leave. Then I thought I’d lost you, and I was too broken to do anything about it.”

“How could you think you’d lost me?” Justin asked in utter confusion. “I was with you every day. I dropped all of my classes and had Tempest take over some of my work just to be with you.”

“It’s hard to explain,” Caitlin admitted. “Yes, you were there, but you were so different. When I finally pushed you in the hopes that you’d react, you left.”

“I figured that would be better for you,” he said. “That won’t happen again. My life is empty without you, and I’ll never let you go again.”

  “Promise?”

Justin kissed her tenderly, wanting her to know how much she meant to him. “I promise. Do you want to talk about what happened?”

  “When you’re ready,” she said.

“Me?” he asked. “I’m not the one who went through all of this.”

“Yes,” she insisted, “you went through all of this too. At first, I didn’t see it because I was so caught up in my own issues. I won’t apologize for that because I needed to worry about me, not you, but you must have felt completely helpless.”

“The worst part was when they said they’d broken you,” he admitted. “Thinking about what it would take to make you break nearly killed me.”

  “I broke myself,” she said.

  “How do you mean?”

“Only one of them was really a bastard. A couple enjoyed watching him torture me, but the others tried to stay out of the room. The pain made it hard to shut out their emotions. Eventually, it was like I was plunged through a glass door. My control shattered, and I felt torn to shreds inside. The emotions crashed into me, and I couldn’t even tell which were mine.”

“That must have been awful,” he said and stroked her back. Caitlin had spent years trying to distance herself from strong emotions, hers and other people’s. Surviving that trauma with her mind intact was nothing short of amazing.

“Then the voices started,” she explained, and her body tensed. “All of their sick thoughts slammed into my brain. That combined with their twisted emotions was enough to make me snap. I didn’t even experience it as me. I experienced my breakdown through the thoughts and emotions of those bastards who abducted me. There was no way to tell who thought or felt what. The only thing I remember clearly is that one of the guys felt guilty. One wanted to get me out of there or call the police.”

“Glad someone had a conscience,” Justin muttered.

“That guy died with the rest,” Caitlin said. “I never told anyone else, but his thoughts and feelings still haunt me sometimes. He wasn’t a bad person, and he probably could have gone on to do some good in the world. He was just a dumb kid who got caught up in a dumb plan that turned out to be more than he expected. If I’d spoken up, Aiden wouldn’t have killed the two in the trailer with me, and maybe I could have saved that kid.”

“Don’t blame yourself for their deaths,” Justin said and pulled her even closer. “You weren’t thinking straight at the time.”

“I know,” she said. “At the time, I was still being ruled by the thoughts and emotions of others. Aiden was in a rage when he saw me, which made things worse.”

“His mother was tortured,” Justin explained. “Aiden knows how to braid hair because she was missing fingers. Seeing you brought back a lot of painful memories.”

  Caitlin nodded. “That makes sense.”

“You’re also his friend,” Justin added, “and he was shaken up seeing you like that.”

“I’m sure seeing me also brought up memories of what happened to Tempest,” Caitlin added. “Aiden was dealing with a lot of stuff that day. Everyone dealt with a lot that day.” She gave him a pointed look.

“Maybe I need to work through all of this,” he said with a sigh. “No matter what you’ve said, I’m still glad all the men who took you are dead.”

“We’ll work through it together,” she said and rested her head on his chest.

Justin smiled at those words. Yes, they’d work through all of this together. More relaxed than he’d been in months, Justin drifted off to sleep, hoping for his first nightmare‑free sleep since Caitlin’s abduction.

  Chapter Eight

Justin knew Caitlin was awake and smiled at the way she pretended to be asleep. This was a game they’d played many times. Not that he minded pretending to coax her awake. He nuzzled her neck and kissed along her jaw line.

These were the moments when Caitlin acted most vulnerable around him. In these moments, they didn’t play sex games. He merely worshiped her body and expressed his feelings physically. No matter how tired he was, he woke her up at least twice. There had always been this fear that it might be their last time together. Even now, he couldn’t believe Caitlin was his because she was too good for him. Aiden was right, he needed to make sure she was too sated to remember what a prick he was and marry her.

With her eyes still closed, Caitlin’s breathing became more labored.

“Are you done pretending to be asleep?” he asked.

She opened her eyes and gave him a sleepy smile that made his breath catch in his throat. “You’d better have a damn good reason for waking me up.”
