Beware

I gasp as his thickness fills me up. He watches me with intense, heated eyes. I can’t fight the sensation. I squeeze my eyes shut, biting my fingernails into his shoulders.
“Too much for you,” Ace says.
“Yeah right,” I breathe, staring him in the eyes.
“Then handle me,” he mumbles, running his fingers down the curve of my ass. “Fuck. Me.”
His words cause a blaze in my stomach. The fact that he’s tempting me, and even teasing me, makes me want to fuck him till his eyes roll to the back of his skull.
So I give him what he wants.
I don’t look away either. I start my strokes nice and easy, running my fingers through his hair, my other hand on his shoulder. The back of his head rests on the headrest, and just when he thinks I’m going to take it easy, I pick up my speed. I swivel my hips harder, moaning each time I feel his cock touching my g-spot. I don’t want to come first. I want him to. I want him to quake. I want him to shudder. I want to own him right now. I want him to forget about what just happened in that bar. I want him to think about now, and how good I’m making him feel.
My own thoughts give me the ambition to keep going. The car rocks back and forth as I grind on him. He groans, and somehow, our eyes are still locked. He’s enjoying this. It’s what he wanted. He just didn’t think I’d provide. Wrong.
When I’m about to reach the brink, I bring my chest to his and lock lips with him. I slide my tongue through his lips, lifting my hips up and down and side-to-side. He clutches my ass in his hands, spanks me, and groans into my mouth. His body tenses, and as I roll my hips, he lifts his, meeting me each time. A smacking noise fills the car, and my ass lifts up and down repeatedly. He’s pounding into me, fucking me. The roles have switched, but I couldn’t care less. I want him to let it all out.
The smacking grows louder, and I knock my head back, panting, as he thrusts in and out.
“Fucking handle me, Red,” he growls. “Handle this fucking cock.”
His voice is so deep and husky I quiver. I bite my fingernails into his shoulders as beads of sweat run down my back.
“You’re mine,” he continues. “This shit is mine. Say it.”
I don’t hesitate. “It’s yours,” I say as he thrusts harder.
“Again,” he demands.
“It’s yours, Ace. I’m all yours.” My moans turn into shrieks. Heat builds between my legs, and I sit myself up, wrapping my arms around his neck. I ride him harder than I did before, bringing my hips back and forth, screaming his name as he grunts, groans, and breathes in my ear.
And then it comes.
The climax.
The build up.
I quake around him, and he lets out a gruff groan, locking his fingers in my hair and pulling my head back. He sucks on my neck as he releases all that was pent up inside him. And, just like I wanted, he shudders and quakes. His groans soften as he dampens my neck. I sigh as my strokes get slower and slower, until finally I stop.
With a heavy sigh, Ace leans back against his seat, and I collapse on his chest. We both pant through this moment of ecstasy. I stare at the foggy windows, shaking my head a little. Every window has fogged up. The sex was that great.
“Might be wrong,” he says, his breaths still heavy.
I lift my head, meeting his eyes. “About what?”
“About you handling me…” He grins.
I laugh, rolling my eyes. “Like I said plenty of times before, I can handle anything.”
“Don’t get ahead of yourself, Red.” He lifts my chin, planting a damp kiss on my lips. When he pulls his mouth away, his head tilts, and his eyelids lower. “’Cause there’s so much more I can do. I’m nowhere near finished with you.”
My belly heats with nothing but pure lust. I lower my head to his chest again, biting a smile. When my panting calms, I finally say, “I know. And neither am I.”
I should’ve taken her back to her place. There’s no reason for her to be here. But I couldn’t do it. I want her around me.
After she takes a quick shower and dresses herself in one of my button-down shirts, I realize why I want her around. She turns me on. She gets me tempted. She knows what the hell she’s doing, and I love that in a woman. She gets what she wants… nothing sexier.
As she bends in front of me purposely, I spank her bare ass. Her pussy sits perfectly between her legs, and my cock throbs as I watch her run a finger between her folds.
Looking over her shoulder, she bites her bottom lip then sits directly on my groin. “Maybe I should strip for you,” she whispers. I clear my throat as she runs a finger down my arm. “Tell me a fantasy,” she says.
“A fantasy?”
“Yeah… something you’ve always wanted.”
She turns sideways, wrapping her arms around my neck. I know it’s the drinks talking. If she were sober, she wouldn’t be asking me about fantasies. When she got here, she had a few glasses of wine, and she’s obviously horny again.
“You wanna know a fantasy… of mine?” I ask, running my palm down her thigh.
She smiles, looking me over with lazy eyes. “One or two.”
I sit her up on my lap and turn her so her chest is facing mine. Willingly, she wraps her legs around my waist, her arms around my neck again. Lifting her shirt with my finger, I stare down at her glistening pussy. I run a finger through her folds, just like she did. When I slide two inside her, she shuts her eyes, breathing deep.
“Tell me one of yours,” I murmur. “I’m sure I can fulfill it.”
She laughs briefly then her face goes lax as she rolls her neck. I run my fingers in and out of her in slow, gentle motions. She brings her bottom lip between the traps of her teeth, now panting.
“Tell me,” I murmur.
“I don’t know,” she says, fighting a moan.
“Tell me,” I repeat.
“Ace,” she breathes, now rocking her hips. “I…”
“Don’t say you don’t know.”
Her eyes flutter open. She looks at me through hooded eyes, I the same, and says, “Fine. But don’t stop what you’re doing.”
Smirking, I say, “I won’t.”
Shutting her eyes again while grinding her hips on my fingers, she breathily says, “The only fantasy I ever had was sex in a car… but that’s already been done.”
“That’s it?” I ask smoothly. “Sex in the car?”
“Yes. That’s it. I never really thought of anything else.”
“Funny… seems like you’d have a lot more.”
“I have to think of more,” she breathes, hips still working. I bring my thumb up and run a small circle across her clit. She jolts, gasping. “Do that again,” she whispers.
“Is that a fantasy?”
“It just felt good…”
I hold off on doing it and she whimpers. “Please,” she begs. “Again.”
“I’ll do something else.”
Her eyes pop open, but before she can respond, I stand up with her legs wrapped around me then turn, placing her on the sofa. She stares up at me and as I lower to my knees, bringing her pussy to my face, her lips part, and her eyes grow wider.
I place my tongue on her pink nub, and her head falls back. I bring her hips closer to the edge of the sofa and suck gently. “Oh, Ace,” she moans, combing her fingers through my hair. She tugs on my hair whenever I hit a spot she likes. I groan between her lips, staring into her lazy eyes. Her thighs shake around me. She’s trembling, and I love the sight of it.
“Oh, Ace,” she breathes. “Right there.”
I suck her clit a little harder. She runs her fingers around her nipples. My cock strains against my jeans.
I refuse to allow her to cum unless it’s around me, so I drop her quickly. She looks up at me with a defeated frown. I take off my jeans hastily, and when I pick her up, the smile returns. I stand in the center of the living room as she wraps her legs around me. Her arms squeeze around my neck, and she sinks down on me.
When I
lift her up and down my cock, her moans return. “Ace,” she breathes. My name is all she can say. She’s tongue-tied, and that adds even more fuel to my fire. I stumble towards the nearest wall and ram myself in and out of her. She scratches at my back. She’s going wild.
Maybe I was wrong. Maybe she can’t handle me. That’s a good thing. A woman that can’t handle me is a woman I can please over and over again.
I firmly grasp her ass, slamming into her through gritted teeth. She sucks on my neck, heightening my arousal. Her wet walls consume me, and all I can do is drown inside her. She’s so wet. So fucking good. I can’t control it anymore, but I control it enough. I reach my brink, and suck in a sharp breath, pulling out and coming down her thigh.
I place my damp forehead on her shoulder, and she quivers, panting. “You,” she breathes in my ear, “…are amazing.”
I swallow thickly, lifting my head. I try to sit her up, but she isn’t having it. Her body is now heavy, and I realize she’s just passed out. Or maybe she’s just fallen asleep. Whatever it is, I know she’s out of it so I wipe off her thigh, pick her limp body up in my arms, and carry her to my bedroom. I place her down, and she rolls to her side, sighing.
Just as I’m about to turn for the bathroom, she murmurs, “You’re not so bad, Ace.”
I glance over my shoulder, eyebrows stitched. I don’t think she realizes what she’s saying. I know she isn’t in her right state of mind. Everything she thinks seems to spill out when she’s drunk. I wait to see if she’ll say more, but she doesn’t. Soft breathing fills the room, and I lower my head, staring down at the carpet.
“Can’t be all bad around you, Red,” I say, in hopes that she’ll respond, but she doesn’t. She’s sound asleep, and as I take a quick shower, I’m kind of thankful she couldn’t hear me. I don’t want her to remember me saying that when she’s sober. I don’t want her getting any big ideas, and I damn sure don’t want her thinking I’m becoming weak for her. Because whether I am or not, I’ll never admit to it. I’ll never let her think she has that kind of power over me.

The buzzing of my cellphone wakes me up. I reach for the nightstand and scramble for it, cracking one heavy eyelid open to find it. When my fingers reach the hard rectangle, I snatch it up and squint as I check it.
There’s a text from Gerrick.
London isn’t in her condo. Heard from her?
I sigh.
Damn. I forgot to let him know she stayed the night. I start to text back, but there’s a knock on the front door. Groaning, I sit up and head for the door, glancing over my shoulder. She’s still sleeping.
I shut the door behind me quietly and hurry down the stairs. When I make it to the front door, I spot Gerrick standing outside of it, running his fingers across his forehead.
I swing the door open immediately, and as soon as he’s inside, he takes a quick look around.
“She here?” he says in more of a statement than a question.
“Upstairs,” I sigh, entering the kitchen.
When I look back, he’s smirking. “Long night?”
I shrug.
“Didn’t tell me she’d be staying the night. Thought she ran away or something.”
“No. She’s good. Bagel?” I ask, opening the box. “Bianca bought them. Cinnamon raisin.”
“Nah. Ate before I came.” He takes a seat on the barstool beneath the island. As I prep my bagel, dropping it in the toaster, I can feel his eyes on me.
“Hate when people stare,” I mutter.
“I know. And you know I only stare when I’m curious.”
I turn in his direction, crossing my arms. “What’s there to be curious about?”
He cocks his head towards the stairs, lifting a brow. “Her.”
“What about her?”
“She has you pussy-whipped.”
“Yeah,” I scoff, turning as the bagel pops up. “Just because we fuck doesn’t mean I’m pussy-whipped.”
“You had a meeting at eight this morning and missed it. You never miss meetings. You didn’t let me know she’d be with you, which proves you either didn’t want me to know or you were so caught up in her pussy that you didn’t get the chance to inform me.” He laughs.
“We got home late last night. Some shit went down at the bar. She was freaking out and shit.”
“What happened?” he asks as I turn his way.
“Some old, dirty fuck was messing with her.”
“Beat his ass?”
“Fucked him up,” I say, lifting my red knuckles then biting into my bagel.
He laughs.
I turn for the fridge to pull out the milk. “As for the meeting, let them know we’ll reschedule for this afternoon.” Gerrick pulls out his cellphone, and his thumbs go to work on the keyboard.
“It’s just funny how easy it is for her to steal your focus.”
“She’s not stealing anything away from me, especially my focus.” He ignores my statement.
“Ever since she’s been here, her name hasn’t left your mouth.”
“Because I’m responsible for her—”
“And ‘cause you’re fucking around with her… you’re getting mixed feelings.” He looks at me beneath his stitched brows. “You like her?”
“She’s good in bed. You know how I am.” I snatch my gaze away from him, which causes him to chuckle.
“Hey,” he shrugs, “…there’s nothing wrong with liking her. It’s understandable. She’s a pretty girl. Smart too, and knows just what to say to get under your skin.” I ignore him. “There’s nothing wrong with feeling anything for her… liking her. But don’t get too caught up, man. You know she’ll be gone soon, and you know just as well as I do that she can’t handle being around Crow. It’s not for a person like her… this life we live. She’d never understand.”
“Gerrick,” I sigh, “…you’re my best friend and all, but I’m not getting caught up. I’m not that fucking stupid. I know she’ll be gone. And when she leaves, I’ll be fine. It’s just sex. She knows that just as well as I do.” I take a large chunk out of my bagel, but that shit is hard to chew and even harder to swallow. It’s like I’m swallowing a lie. I know this isn’t just sex anymore. I’m just annoyed Gerrick is able to see right through me. I thought I had it under control. “Tell them we’ll meet up around three. I’ll send London to her condo in a few.”
Standing from his stool, he nods and heads for the door. Before he steps out, he looks over his shoulder and laughs, looking me over. “Crazy, man,” is all he says before the door shuts behind him.

Our meeting was pretty simple and to the point. We have a few gun shipments coming in from Russia, along with some cocaine and heroin from Spain. This week should be a good one.
After the meeting is over, I tell the boys they can have the rest of their Friday off. Before I can get out of the meeting room though, Krane, a man I’ve worked with since I was eighteen, stops me. He’s one of my men, one year older than me, but can make the dumbest decisions ever. He catches me by the shoulder, turning me his way.
“Can I speak with you for a minute,” he asks as Gerrick, Wes, and Tye pass by.
When I hear them walking down the hallway, I nod. “Yeah.”
“Look, I know I fucked up, Ace, but I was thinking and… well… you know I need this job, man. I need the money. Ally would kill me and leave me if I lose what I’ve got going on.” I narrow my eyes at him, crossing my arms.
“I told you what would happen if you didn’t listen, Krane. You let that temper of yours get the best of you. You fucked up and shit got out of hand. You should’ve just let it go.”
He shakes his head, his dark curls flopping. “I didn’t think… look, I just don’t understand, man. Why didn’t you just kill me when you got back? It’s what you would’ve done to anyone else. I’d rather be dead than out.”
I lower my gaze, and it’s not too long before my back is turned to him. “You’re like blood, Krane. Plus, killin
g you would’ve been too easy. I told you, you’d pay somehow. Suffer.”
“But I’ve been here since day one, Ace! If it wasn’t for me, you wouldn’t even be standing here right now!”
“I know,” I mutter, heading for the door. “And maybe I’ll change my mind about letting you back in, but until then, you’re out of Crow.” I glance over my shoulder. “Don’t bring it up again.”
“He was just as bad as me, Ace. You know that shit. He deserved what he got! I may have cost us some money and a few clients, but he would’ve cost us so much more. You know that. You just don’t want to admit it.”
I walk down the hallway before I can hear him say anything else. Letting Krane go is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made, but he brought it upon himself. He could’ve prevented it. I know this is going to kill him—being out of Crow—but it’s what he had coming, and I won’t change my mind about it. He cost me a lot, and in Crow, that can’t be forgiven. He has to pay.
It’s a cool night out.
East 20th street is somewhat busy but not too much. After an intense, and honestly useless, argument in the car over him bringing me to this expensive looking restaurant, Ace and I are finally inside.
The host, who obviously knows who he is, smiles as we enter and immediately gives us a table in the corner.
“Favorite table, Crow,” he says, smiling. He pulls out my seat for me, and I sit, smiling up at the young boy.
“Thank you.”
“No problem.” He looks at Ace who’s just taken his suit jacket off. “Waitress should be with you shortly.”
“Thanks, Lock.” Lock nods then turns around to get back to his station.
“Been here before?” I ask.
“Come almost every other weekend.”
“Oh.” Sighing loudly, I pick up my menu and look at each item, along with their prices.
“Is there a problem?” Ace asks.
I look up, meeting his eyes. “Not at all,” I lie, smirking. He fights a smile, clearing his throat and picking up his menu.
