The Wolf Claims His Fae (Club Yes Master Book 1) Page 4

Before I could stop myself, I grabbed her shoulders and pushed her against a wall. We were alone in the store, but even if we weren’t, I couldn’t have stopped myself. I lifted her skirt and found she didn’t have on any panties. The tiny tuft of blonde hair that poked out from her folds was glistening. I fingered her moist opening and moaned into her hair.

“You’re so wet.” I leaned in and ground my hard dick against her. I wanted her so bad.

To my surprise, she undid my fly and released my cock. Without a word, she placed her hands on my shoulders and lifted herself up so she could slide down on my dick. I had to restrain myself from coming from the visual alone. She was so tight and so wet that I almost whimpered. Without taking her eyes off mine, she slowly lifted and lowered herself onto my dick. After sliding all the way down, she rested her head on my shoulder with her lips just inches away from my neck. I could feel each ragged breath as she stroked me with her wet channel. The moistness of her breath was sending me over edge. I grabbed her ass and lifted her up and down faster and harder. I soon had her pressed against the wall and was fucking her like our lives depended on it.

When I came, I filled her so fully that my seed dripped out and onto the floor. I didn’t care that I’d be scrubbing the carpet later. All I cared about was how good she was. I could already feel my dick hardening again when I heard something at the front of the store.

“Anwell, where the fuck you at, mate?” Logan’s voice sounded through the store. “You get on Josh about fucking off, and you haven’t finished the reports for today.”

Reluctantly, I released the fairy from my grasp and let her slide to the floor until her feet reached the ground. She silently went inside the dressing room and changed back into her own clothes.

Just as I got myself composed, Logan rounded the corner. “Dude, what are you doing back here?”

I hid the spot on the floor with my boot. “I was doing some inventory.” I ran my hand through my hair. “Got bored as hell cooped up in that office.”

“Man, it smells like Josh must have had another fuck buddy back here.” Logan scrunched up his nose at the odor.

“I know, right? Smells awful in here.” I made the same scrunched up face. “I’ll get some room spray or light some candles or something. Once I’m done in here, I’ll head back to the office.”

“Thanks, man. I need those records to complete this week’s income report.”

As soon as he left, I headed to the dressing room. I knocked lightly on the door. “He’s gone.”

She came out and gave me an embarrassed grin that caused my dick to twitch.

“So, is that outfit the one?”

“Oh, it’s definitely the one.” She gave me a shy smile then headed to the front dressed in the jeans and tank top she’d worn to the store. I rang up her outfit and gave her the house discount. Hell, I should have given her the stuff for free.

“I hope the man in your life likes it.”

She grinned. “Oh, I think he will.”

  Lily

His face was so much sexier than I had imagined. The way his short hair fell across his forehead and eyes made me hot just thinking about it. He was so gorgeous. It was almost funny that he thought I wouldn’t recognize him, but his voice was a dead giveaway.

As I left the club, I saw the man who had walked in on us. He gave me a wink and went back to working on his computer. Did he know what just happened? Did he care? It was a sex club, after all. Was it really so strange to have a quick fuck whenever the mood struck? I wasn’t sure. I didn’t know much of anything about this new world I found myself in. But from what I had seen, I really, really liked it.

I was almost to my car when a man walked out from behind my SUV. I jumped and placed a hand on my chest. “Oh, you scared me,” I said while laughing at my overly jumpy behavior.

  “Sorry about that.”

I remembered his voice at once. It was the guy from the McDonald’s. I lifted my hand to shield the sun from my eyes. “Oh, hey…you.” I’d never bothered to get his name. “What are you up to?”

“Just getting ready for finals. I’ll finally be free and can get started on a real career.” He leaned against my SUV. Admittedly, he was sexy, but something also seemed different. I got a weird feeling that I hadn’t picked up on the night I met him.

“That’s great,” I said while fishing in my purse for my keys. “What do you think you’ll do for a living?” I wanted to get away from him, but I didn’t want to seem rude. Everything inside me was yelling at me to run, but I certainly hadn’t had those feelings the other night.

  I was so confused.

“I honestly have no idea. I just want to get away from my father’s business.”

“Oh.” I found my keys and reached for the door. “Well, it was good seeing you again.”

He pushed away from my car. “You too. Do you think you might want to get a coffee sometime?”

“We both know that wouldn’t be a good idea…” I tried to think of something to call him.

“Steve. My name’s Steve.” He held out his hand and shook mine.

“Steve. You’re human. I’m fae. It just wouldn’t work out. Your time would come so quickly, and I’d still have almost a full human lifetime left to go. I just can’t be with someone who will die so young.” I tried to have sympathy in my voice as if I was truly heartbroken over it.

“No one said anything about getting married.” He laughed, and it sent a shiver down my spine. The type of shiver that made you want to vomit. “I’m just looking for a few nights of fun.”

“Aren’t we all…” I opened the door to my SUV and hopped inside. “Sorry, but that’s not what I’m looking for.” I closed the door and started the engine. He stepped away as I backed out of the parking space. Even as I put the vehicle in drive and waved to him, he gave me a steely look. Something told me that pretty boy wasn’t used to being shot down.

  But that was too bad.

I pulled out of the parking lot and went straight to Willow’s. I wanted to know how her first night went at the restaurant. When I pulled into her small driveway, I was more than a little uneasy that her brother’s car was in the driveway.

  Ugh.

But I had to face him sometime, so I knocked on the door and then went inside. Willow always told me not to bother knocking because I’m family, but I still felt weird just walking into someone else’s house without at least warning them before I opened the door.

“Lily!” Jaxon, Willow’s brother, came into the living room and pulled me into a one-armed hug. “How you doing, girl?”

Jaxon was no longer the little brat who had driven Willow and me crazy when we were teenagers. He’d grown into a man – a sexy, muscle-packed man. “Good, Jaxon. How are you?” I returned his hug and then stepped away from his alluring scent. Male fairies gave off a scent that was attractive to female fairies who would be suitable mates. Which is why I avoided Jaxon at all costs.

“Not too bad,” he said as he took a drink from a Mountain Dew bottle. “Scouts were at the last game in December, and a few contacted me this week.”

“Really? That’s awesome.” I wrapped my arms around his chest and hugged him tight. “I’m so proud of you. Does that mean you’re going pro?”

  “Looks like it.”

“Lily, when did you get here?” Willow asked as she came down the stairs.

“Just a few minutes ago. Jaxon was catching me up on his soon-to-be pro football career.” I gave him a playful grin. “So, how did last night go?”

“Pretty good. I made enough in one night to cover rent for the next four months.” She slipped into the kitchen where food was always freshly prepared. Willow didn’t want to admit she was an amazing cook, but she was. Her homemade bread was incredible.

I helped myself to a slice then grabbed some butter.

“I also made enough to pay off my car.”

“Wha?” I asked around the large bite of bread.

&
nbsp; “Yeah. I’m going to pay it off tomorrow.” She had a huge grin on her face. “All in all, I brought in over $4,000 last night.”

“Holy shit!” Crumbs flew from my mouth and landed on my shirt. I stood over the sink and brushed the crumbs away. “Are you waiting on people or fucking them?”

“You’d think I was fucking them.” She winked. “Honestly, I treat the customers the same as everyone else, and I think these high-rollers from the casino actually like it. They’re tired of having people blow smoke up their ass. I guess they appreciate my sincerity.”

“Makes sense. I know I’d get tired of people being fake just to get me to drop another $1,000 bet.” I grabbed a couple slices of roasted chicken and placed them on some bread before grabbing the mayo and sharp cheddar from the fridge. After throwing together a quick sandwich, I leaned against the counter. “So, how did things go with the boss?”

“Well.” She stopped chopping ingredients for a salad and stared off into space for a moment. “Very, very well.”

  “You fucked him, didn’t you?”

“In my mind, I did.” She blushed and went back to chopping the lettuce. “In reality, I behaved. Unfortunately.”

I patted her on the back. “It’s for the best. With tips like you’re getting, can you really afford for a sexy man to get in the way? What would happen if things didn’t work out between you two?”

“I’d probably have to quit.” She sighed.

“Just keep your eye on the prize, girl.” I washed my hands and took a seat at the table. “Other than a sexy boss, what else can you say about the job?”

“It’s fun. The night goes by really fast. I’m working the bar, so all I have to deal with is drinks. I don’t think I’d want to work the floor and deal with food.” She sat down with her salad along with a plate of roast chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and homemade bread. “I’m sure I’d drop something or spill food on a guest.”

I cringed. “Not the best way to get a tip.”

  “Not exactly.”

We continued to chat about her night until late afternoon. The day totally slipped away from me. “Well, I’d better get going. I need to stop by the store on the way home.”

“I’ll come over in a couple days, and maybe we’ll go shopping.”

“Sounds good.” I gave her a quick hug and waved to Jaxon on my way out.

The store wasn’t crowded, which made my shopping trip much more enjoyable. I actually loved shopping for groceries and looking for new things to try. Anyone who has been grocery shopping with me in the past has found it annoying because I liked to walk up and down every aisle.

I could spend hours in a grocery store.

As I gathered my regular ingredients, I found a couple new coffee creamers to try and a few frozen dinners. I wasn’t crazy about frozen dinners, but I also didn’t like cooking big meals when it was only me. That was one reason I missed having a man around. I loved having someone to cook for. Not to mention someone to curl up with at night. As much as I loved sex, I also loved companionship.

I looked up from my list to see if I needed anything in the canned food section. I was about to skip the aisle when I saw Steve browsing through the canned pasta section. I blinked to make sure it was him, but then no one was there. God, I must be hallucinating. I turned to go down the next aisle when I walked right into someone. “Oh, my goodness. I’m so sorry.” I stooped down to pick up the box I’d knocked from their hands. “Are you okay?”

A large hand reached down to grab the box. “I am now.”

I looked up into Steve’s eyes and felt my stomach turn. “Steve, how nice to see you again.” Dammit. Why did Southerners have to be so fucking nice all the time?

“You too.” He placed his box of Cocoa Puffs in his basket and smiled at me. “Must be fate.”

I laughed. “I’m sure Fate has other things to do. Plus, I’m pretty sure Fate knows that this,” I pointed between the two of us, “would be a mistake.”

He continued to smile, but his eyes looked grim. “I’d like to think Fate is more optimistic.”

“Well, I’d better get going.” I pushed my cart past him, trying to look cool despite wanting to leave immediately. I wasn’t about to let anyone run me off, so I was glad to see him checking out a few minutes later.

That meant I could go back to enjoying my shopping trip.

I spent another thirty minutes looking through the rest of the store. That should have been more than enough time for Steve to leave the parking lot. When I walked outside, I was relieved his motorcycle wasn’t around. I wasn’t sure what had changed, but his presence creeped me out now. I didn’t feel any attraction to him at all. I just wanted to run as far away as I could. What had I missed that night? Had I truly been so horny that I couldn’t spot a creep?

I tried to shake off the unease as I loaded my groceries into the back of my SUV. When I was done, I returned the cart to the corral and jumped into my SUV. I moved so quickly that I felt like a toddler trying to make it to bed quickly after switching off the light. As a fairy, I knew there were monsters out there.

Unfortunately, many monsters wore sheep’s clothing.

  Anwell

I saw the fairy talking to the human in the parking lot across the street, and I could sense something was wrong. She seemed to want to get away from him as quickly as possible. I approached the guy after she’d driven off.

“Lady trouble?” I asked while unlocking my truck to get something from the console.

The man seemed uneasy. “Oh, you know how women can be. Don’t know what they want.”

“And what is it she wants?”

“Me, of course,” he said while acting like a fucking Greek god or something.

I laughed, and he glared at me.

“Look, man. She was all over my cock the other night. I picked her up at a McDonald’s for crying out loud. It’s not like she’s something special.”

“Then why pursue her when she’s obviously gotten you out of her system?”

“You trying to start something?” He got up in my face – or at least tried to since he was at least five inches shorter than me. “’Cause I’ll finish it for you.”

Again, I laughed. “Calm down, man. I don’t have a problem with you, but when women shoot you down, it’s best to move on.”

“Shows how much you know.” He backed off and slid his hands into his pockets. “With enough persistence, you can get anything you want.”

“At what cost though?” I shut and locked my truck door. “Do you really want a woman you have to wear down? Wouldn’t you rather have someone who actually wants you?”

“Whatever.” He walked off and got on a motorcycle. He spun the bit of gravel that was at the exit of the parking lot as he sped off. I wasn’t sure what had happened between the two, but I could read the signs from a mile away.

She wasn’t interested in him. In fact, she seemed almost fearful when he startled her. It wasn’t my problem, but something inside me insisted I solve it for her.

I finished up the paperwork and helped Logan with the week’s reports. I hated this part of the business, but it was a necessary evil. We needed to make sure we were making a profit and the money was where it was supposed to be. When we first opened the club, we’d been a bit slack and hadn’t discovered that an employee was stealing from us until it was almost too late. Now, we watched the numbers like hawks.

I looked up to see Logan staring off into the distance. “What’s on your mind?”

He continued with the hundred-yard stare.

  “Logan.”

“Huh?” he asked while he continued to stare a hole into the wall.

  “What’s up with you?”

He shook his head and looked at me. “It’s the new waitress I hired for the restaurant.”

“Did she mess up or something? It was only her first day, cut her some slack.” I shuffled through some papers and found what I was looking for.

“No, she was perfect.” He perked up and leaned his elbows on the desk. “She took in over $4,000 in tips her first night.”

“Holy shit, man.” I stopped what I was doing and looked at him. “Girls that have been working the bar for years don’t do that well.”

“I know. The guys just really like her. She has an infectious personality and doesn’t bullshit anyone. She tells everyone the way it is and they fucking love it.” He leaned back in his chair. “She told, Larry – you know Larry, the high-roller with the combover? She told him that if he just shaved his head, he’d be a hell of a lot sexier.” Logan chuckled at the memory. “I thought he’d blow a gasket. Instead, he laughed. I saw him at the store this morning, and sure as shit, he shaved his head. Can you believe that?”

“Did he look any sexier?” I asked, waggling my eyebrows.

“Fuck, no. He’s still a bald, middle-aged CEO.” He sighed. “But what the hell do I know? Maybe it’ll help him score.”

“That doesn’t explain why you’re staring off into space.” I fiddled with a pen on the desk and waited for the real answer.

“She’s fucking hot as hell. She’s got gorgeous skin that begs to be tasted. Her eyes are like dark pools of chocolate that I could get lost in.” He ran his hand over his heads. “I just want to bend her over and fuck here right there at the bar.”

  “But she’s an employee.”

“Exactly.” He leaned his head back on the chair. “Anytime I’m near her, I want to be balls deep inside her. I’ve never felt this attracted to a woman before.”

This was serious. “Do you think it’s just an itch you need to scratch?”

“I don’t know. I’d hate to get a taste and find out I need more.”

  “So, she’s a fairy?”

  “Yeah.”

“Always hot as hell and so addictive.”

We sat in silence for a few minutes, listening to the clock tick.
