Training Tia

To make his point, Zane continued his assault on my over-sensitized clit. It only took seconds before I screamed again, only this time, he moved his body between my legs and lined his cock up to my swollen channel.

He toyed with me a second or two longer, and I cried out, “Please. Please just fuck me already.”

A forceful thrust brought our combined breath to a temporary halt. Before I could regain my bearings, he moved in and out of me with a powerful, fast movement that filled my need at the most primal level.

Desperate for his attention, I arched my back to drive him deeper. His hand rested on my belly, and he warned, “I’m doing the fucking. Be still before I restrain you to the bed.”

I did what I was told, but begged in contradicting voices. “More. Please…more…please stop…I can’t do this.”

It was only a few seconds before the electricity ignited from deep inside my body. My nerves connected in a domino effect, and energy poured to one central location. I erupted. Every nerve ending, muscle, and brain cell reacted to the hormonal response. His own explosion became my next pleasure.

I couldn’t hold onto my room and refocused on the couch in my nursery, but it didn’t matter. My release was complete, and I just needed to remember to breathe.

A foggy haze settled over my thoughts while Zane held me closely. He removed the clamps gently, but pain bit the sensitive skin as the blood rushed back. He kneaded them gently between his palms, but coming down from my euphoria took a few minutes.

“You did well, little one. Breathe.”

I had to dig for speech. “Fuck, Zane. If that was gentle sex, I’d hate to see what you think of as a little rough.”

My head rested on his chest until I felt the return of a small tie to reality. He continued to whisper quiet encouragement, and I remained connected to his control long after my nervous system calmed.

When I finally settled, I delved back into my subconscious, but the bed was gone. I still stammered slightly. “You took it away…You took my bed away again, didn’t you?”

It was a simple fact, not frustration or anger that he controlled my sexuality. I was content to submit that part of our life without any trouble at all.

He grinned. “I’ll bring it back when we need it, but it’s still a tad dangerous for you to have access without me next to you. I don’t think you are quite ready yet.”

I had to admit that he was right. I still had a lot to learn about the merits of the room.

Sex with Zane made it official. I was no longer a virgin and hadn’t been one for years. No matter how hard I tried, however, I couldn’t recreate the experience without that part of my power. Even the exact bed that Zane had used didn’t return the tingling between my legs.

Lying on a table, however, was the pink vibrator I’d used with my first erotica novel. The wheels turned in my head, and I took it back to my nursery bed to explore my non-virgin self.

The experimentation was a bust. Without any urges, the intrusion felt like I was at the gynecologist’s office.

After five minutes, I tossed it back and called for Zane. He didn’t like to be bothered if I was acting childish, but elementary school boredom was the last emotion in my head.

I had apparently woken him from a sound sleep. “What’s wrong, Tia? It’s late.”

“Can you come to me? Now?”

He didn’t understand my quiet request. “I’m here. What do you want?”

“I want you, stupid. Just because you’ve turned off my sex drive, doesn’t mean you’ve turned off my desire to be with you. Turn it back on for a few hours. Please?”

I wasn’t sure how to read his scowl until he said, “Did you really just call me stupid?”

The error in my judgement was pretty obvious. Zane wasn’t Simon. He took the whole Dominant thing very seriously, but he played a smaller part in my everyday life. It was all very complicated.

I lowered my eyes in true apology and politely asked, “Can’t we just put that one on the list or something?” He raised an eyebrow, so I went on, “You know, like a running tab. When I do something good, it takes away bad things. It’s got to get tiring spanking me so much. Doesn’t your hand hurt after a while?” I thought my suggestion was a brilliant compromise.

“There is no list, little girl. We’ll deal with it now.” As he spoke, the nipple clamps materialized along with an evil grin. When a leather paddle showed up as well, my body reacted immediately and I whimpered in anticipation.

Before he could move, however, he said, “You’re going to have to face your whole staff tomorrow.”

I was skeptical. “They aren’t going to know about the sex, are they?”

“No, they block themselves until I call them, but they do know about your vibrator.”

“Come on,” I protested. “I thought I had some privacy after my bars went up.”

He kissed me on the forehead. “Simon has an open portal to you when you aren’t with me. You won’t live that toy down for a long, long time.”

My heart sank. Simon would be merciless over this, and there weren’t enough spiders in the world to make him stop.

The whole magic thing took a lot more time getting used to than you’d think.

  Chapter Eight

Mired in a world of relaxation and training, time became an alien concept, and the months ground on with a sluggish repetitiveness. While access to my subconscious became easier, the struggle to balance the world around me was still a challenge, and my behavior was far removed from the adult I’d left behind in New York.

Zane broke the monotony with unwelcome news. “You won’t like this, but I have several business obligations that will keep me away for a few days. You’ll have to do without your run tomorrow and behave for Nanny. If there is a problem, she’ll summon my father. Trust me. You won’t like that at all.”

I couldn’t help the grumpy pout. “I’ve never even met your father. Why can’t somebody else take me for a run? Simon’s always around.”

“We’ve discussed this. You aren’t going outside these rooms without me. Period. I’ll be back to check on you, but you’ll be asleep when I have a free minute. I’ll see you in two days, so you’ll just have to manage.”

It wasn’t just the loss of my run that bothered me. Existing without his calming presence for forty-eight long hours seemed impossible. I tried to fight the decision with a pout, but he left with a gentle kiss and a warning to behave.

I turned into Satan’s spawn with my staff as the unwilling recipients of my frustration. My brain balked at every innocent suggestion, and I fought their guidance with a bratty vengeance. Meals, naps, baths, and training were all challenged or abandoned completely.

When he scolded me to behave, I tried to kick Simon in the nuts and earned his first-ever swat to my ass before he dropped me to the floor with a thud. His authoritarian glare temporarily knocked some of the sass out of me. “Don’t you ever try that again.”

Ultimately, I was confined to my bed without dinner. I responded with a brief tantrum, but the threat of Zane’s father brought reluctant compliance.

Bored shouts for Simon to entertain me went unanswered. When I called him an ungrateful shit and still didn’t get scolded, I knew nobody would return.

Not ready to give in completely, I turned to my subconscious and explored the very messy space. It was getting quite full with items I’d mastered, but none of it was particularly exciting. Several large donuts supplemented my missed dinner, then I spent fifteen minutes in a devious attempt to hide the crumbs.

The rest of my room was downright dull, and the deep-rooted boredom was not appeased. The pink vibrator appeared, but Zane was right when he said Simon would tease me, so I didn’t dare pick it up. I’d even mastered a television set, but my agitated state couldn’t focus on the inevitable reruns.

Eventually, I turned my efforts to the hated nighttime restraints. Zane was right when he said my powers couldn’t manipulate the lock. I t
ried everything imaginable and failure only increased my temper.

Next, I explored my subconscious for anything that might potentially break the wooden bars. It was just a simple fact-finding mission with no real plans to follow through, but my treasure hunt list included axes, saws, and maybe glue to hide any potential deception.

A new portal opened, and Zane’s image appeared for the first time ever. The access left me impressed with my powers, but self-adulation was short lived.

“You’ve had a rough night, little one. But you found me, didn’t you?”

“Where are you, Zane? I’m bored. Are you close?”

“I am at my house in California, and someday I will bring you here. I’ve already told you that I am busy tonight.”

He didn’t wait for me to respond. “You aren’t behaving, are you? I saw you looking for something to break your bars. Don’t do that if you want to sit on your cute little bottom tomorrow.”

In an effort to save myself, I mumbled, “I wasn’t really going to use them. I was just looking around because I’m bored and lonely. Come and play with me.”

“You need to listen to Hawa and Nanny, and you wouldn’t be in bed so early. And poor Simon. What did he ever do to you? If you’d kicked him, you could have really hurt him.”

I crinkled my nose. “You saw all that?”

“Of course, I did, and we will deal with your bratty behavior when I return. I’m always with you, Tia. Sometimes I’m not watching as carefully as others, but I am always a step away. Remember that before you do something naughty like breaking your bars or kicking your guard. And by the way, the bars are tied to my power, young lady. That is stronger than a human saw or hammer.”

My lower lip stuck out, and I pouted with a nasty frown. The fact that I supported his brat accusation was not lost, but my frustrated brain couldn’t help it.

His scolding continued. “Tomorrow is a new day. Stay out of your room tonight and behave. I’ll check on you later, and you need to be asleep.”

Before I could complain, he was gone. Without his frowning face, I intended to slam his portal shut with a bang, but the weight of it surprised me and it took an extra effort to push the frame shut.

His instructions became my goal for almost an hour, but I was still awake and nowhere near sleepy, so I returned to my subconscious with the hope nobody paid close attention. Locating their portals, my small staff was sound asleep in places I didn’t recognize, and I quietly shut their windows to search for some small vestige of privacy.

Boredom returned quickly, and I was about to give up when a tiny yellow kitten came into exciting focus. It was the first time I’d visualized a living thing other than my dog. She gave a few pitiful meows, and I played with her for a few minutes before I had an epiphany.

With one step into her tiny body, I purred happily on my bed in the castle. The kitten could easily fit through the bars, and I was out, but my limited mind needed to justify the action. Zane told me I couldn’t break the bars. He didn’t tell me not to walk through them.

I waited for my mate to show up with some monster paddle, but nobody came and my nursery remained eerily empty. My strength had increased dramatically since the last escape, and I knew I wasn’t the victim of another failed test. This was an unsupervised world for the first time in almost a year, and there were hours until morning.

When Zane got back, my earlier behavior had probably earned his wrath anyway, so I might as well enjoy myself after a miserable day. With a self-righteous grin, I quickly changed to the anonymous safety behind my canine symbol. Simon was right. Cats were creepy little things.

The thick stone corridors provided exciting entertainment, and I explored with a ten-year-old’s enthusiasm. Simple obstacles were easily overcome with my powers, and even door knobs were manipulated by just turning them in my mind. Wandering the mostly empty hallways, I received a few gentle pats on my head and not a single sideways glance.

Directions were not my strong point. I could lose my car in the grocery store parking lot, and the castle was much bigger than I’d realized. All too quickly, the hallways began to look the same. One too many corners, and I wasn’t sure of the way back to my nursery. The arrogant confidence that started in my safe bedroom was replaced with a stomach-wrenching anxiety, and my adventure suddenly wasn’t so much fun.

Desperate, I opened random doors to search for safety. An empty ballroom with dozens of exits generated dizzying navigational decisions, but the entrance closed behind me before I could stop it. The unfamiliar lock mechanism wouldn’t form in my mind, so I was trapped.

Anxiety gave into full blown panic, and the muscles in my body tensed to levels I hadn’t felt in months. My human form could have attempted opposable thumbs, but my inner room faded before I could connect and apprehension turned to bat-shit scared.

The empty ballroom reflected the spooky nighttime darkness behind the old Romanian castle. Ghostly shadows hit the wall and moonlight gave the only weak illumination.

A strange man entered through an unknown door in the distance. Dressed in jeans and a sweatshirt, his neatly trimmed blond hair gave him the appearance of a casual visitor, but every muscle in my body tensed with fear. He spotted me and froze with shocked recognition.

The roots of my anxiety were unclear, but his threat was apparent. Keeping him in my sight, I backed away with slow movements, but he gained ground before I could turn. His gaze met mine, and I saw terrifying evil when he grabbed me by the scruff of my neck.

Without thought, I twisted my head to bite his hand, and the taste of blood made me nauseous. He let go with a growl, and I fled the frightening room through the door he’d left open.

Driven by panic, I ran in a foolish effort to make the strangeness go away. Desperate calls for Simon or Zane appeared useless without my powers, and I could sense no connection to them. Even a spanking was better than this.

Turning a sharp corner, I ran into another stranger whose power brought me to a halt. White hair and copious wrinkles combined with steel-gray eyes to demand respect, and I quivered with indecision.

He didn’t terrify me, but he did know me. “Tia. What are you doing wandering the castle? Where is your staff?”

I had no shot at communicating without access to my powers, so I hung my head and whimpered.

The demands continued. “Return to your human form at once. I am not going to repeat myself.”

I tried. I looked for the room, but nobody rubbed my back and rigid muscles consumed my focus.

The man became even angrier and grabbed my neck. “I gave you an order.”

A woman emerged from the shadows. More wrinkles made her age just as difficult to determine, but she was beautifully elegant and her gentle manners made her an immediate ally.

With uncontrollable whimpering, I tried to crawl into her arms, and she scolded him without reservation. “Quinn, what are you doing? You are scaring the poor, little thing.”

“It’s Tia, Isabella. She won’t come out of her symbol, and I don’t know why she is here. Summon Zane to take care of this.”

My master’s name did little to calm my soul, and I sobbed doggie tears in earnest.

The woman said, “Hush, Quinn. You have her so frightened she can’t get back.”

To prove her point, she knelt down to meet my gaze. Mirroring my nursery staff, gentle hands massaged my terrified body, and she offered a soothing voice. “Come, I’ll go with you and help you change. Follow my voice, Tia.”

From my neck to my spine, she worked her own magic. Under her guidance, my training slowly returned, and my breathing grew deeper. Within a few minutes, I rested safely in my subconscious, and she smiled encouragingly by my side.

My human form waited anxiously, but before I could refocus to the hallway, she said, “Do you have some clothes here? You are a little, uh, exposed in front of your king.”

King. Fuck. The old man was Zane’s father, and Isabella was clearly his mother, and I was freaking naked. I dr
essed quickly and returned to my rescuer.

The current situation required serious negotiating, but I couldn’t look Zane’s father in the eye. “I’m sorry, sir. I was just bored and decided to see what was out here. Please don’t tell on me. I’ll get into a lot of trouble.”

When he smirked, I added, “I wasn’t trying to disobey you. I was having trouble getting back.”

He tried to look stern but the slight smile offered me a little comfort. “That’s why you aren’t allowed out by yourself. It’s dangerous. You can’t protect yourself outside the nursery.

“Of course, I am going to tell Zane. If you do something foolish, you deserve to be punished. Your whole staff should be punished. They don’t appear to even notice that you are missing.”

I thought for a minute. “I don’t think it’s their fault. I closed those windows. Wouldn’t that make it harder for them to see me, especially if I was being quiet?”

Isabella took a deep breath. “You didn’t block them, did you? Is your power that strong already?”

He was skeptical. “Take me to your subconscious, Tia.”

There was no disobeying him, but anxiety over being lost was quickly replaced by the growing realization that I was in serious trouble. I showed him the portals and added, “Honestly, I didn’t know that I was blocking anybody. That’s not how windows work everyplace else.”

“And how did you get out of your bed? Zane keeps you restrained at night so you don’t do something foolish like this.”

“I…I used the kitten, sir. Zane told me not to break the bars. I…uh…I didn’t think he would mind if I crawled out.”

Quinn scolded, “Don’t treat me like the fool, Tia. You know what he expected. Where is Zane’s portal? You didn’t shut that.”

“Well, yeah, I did. But he wasn’t in it when I shut it. He told me to go to bed. I was mad, but I didn’t shut it until after he’d left my sight.”

He raised an eyebrow in disbelief. “Show me.”
