A tap on her backdoor caused her to jump. Her heart began beating rapidly, and she felt her nerves become unraveled as she peeked through the blinds. She wasn't ready to deal with Vince, not yet.

Mindy sighed, feeling her body calm when she noticed Veronica standing outside of her door. She was holding up a six-pack of Bud Light, and then flipped the bird and stuck out her tongue when she noticed Mindy peeking out at her.

“Hey girl!” Veronica exclaimed as Mindy opened the door to let her in.

  “Hey,” Mindy said.

“I can’t believe you’re moving! You just got here.” Veronica almost sounded disappointed.

Leaving Veronica behind was disappointing to Mindy as well. She'd never had a girlfriend, and even though she barely knew Veronica, and they were completely different, they seemed to hit it off.

“I know, I’ll miss you,” Mindy assured her.

Veronica twisted the caps from two bottles, then handed one to Mindy. She sat down on one of the boxes that were already packed, looking around the apartment as she sipped her beer. Mindy took a swig of the beer, and then finished putting the tape on the last box.

“Have you seen Vince?” Veronica asked.

  “No,” Mindy responded.

“He was pretty upset at the bar last night,” Veronica said.

Mindy couldn’t imagine Vince upset over her. They had barely met, and he was a rough and tough biker who had plenty of sexual experience, so she figured he would order a shot of whiskey, throw the first girl he saw over his shoulder, and ride off into the sunset, never to think about her again.

“You need to say goodbye at least,” Veronica pushed.

“I don’t know where to find him. I tried calling,” Mindy said.

“He lives on Harmon Avenue. Two streets past the bar make a left, and his house is the third on the right,” Veronica told her.

Mindy pushed the beer bottle to her lips as she contemplated stopping by to see Vince before she left. She knew it was the right thing to do, but she had never broken it off with anyone before. She wasn’t sure she knew how.

“Just think about it,” Veronica urged.

Mindy peeked out the window and noticed her father had finally pulled up to help her finish packing. Veronica introduced herself to Mindy’s father as he walked through the door, and then excused herself after giving Mindy a big hug and making her promise to call when she arrived safely. Mindy helped her dad load the trailer he had hitched behind her truck, and then said her goodbyes.

As she pulled out of her parking lot and headed down the main road, she considered stopping by Vince’s. She pulled out her phone and called him one last time. It rang five times, and then went to his voice mail. His deep sultry voice sent chills down her spine and tugged at her heart strings. She wanted to see him. She needed to see him. She passed the bar, looking for Harmon Avenue. As soon as she saw the street sign, she turned and drove slowly until stopping in front of the third house on the right. It was a small white house with vinyl siding and Vince’s Harley was parked on the front porch. He was home.

Her heart beat rapidly as she walked up the front door. She placed her hand on the doorbell and before she could press it, the door swung open. Vince stood before her wearing only his boxers. His chest was smooth and muscular, his arms toned. His deep blue eyes penetrated her, making her feel pleasurably violated. He wrapped his arms around her waist, then lifted her from her feet and into his arms.

She let out a squeal as he carried her into the house and kicked the door shut with his foot. His lips pressed hard against hers. He parted her lips with his tongue forcefully as he entered her mouth, stroking her tongue against his own. The kiss was dynamic. It was powerful. She felt her blood rush out of her head and between her legs, creating an ache so familiar, so missed.

Vince finally released her from his grip, then smiled at her with his sheepish grin. His eyes danced across her body as he struggled for words.

“Damn, girl, I’ve missed you,” he told her.

“I’ve missed you too.” she responded. “Why didn’t you answer my calls?”

“Ahhh, I figured you didn’t really care to see me, baby doll,” he said. He then added, “You got a new life now.”

Mindy felt horrible for making him feel so rejected. She never intended to hurt this man. She really had missed him. Yes, she had a new life, but with him standing in front of her so vulnerable, she was beginning to regret her decision to leave.

Vince peeked out the window at her trailer, and then smiled softly. “I guess this is your goodbye,” he said.

“I guess so,” she said. Mindy hesitated briefly before asking, “Will you come visit me?”

He laughed. “In New York? Oh baby, that’s a long ride.”

Mindy stuck her bottom lip out to pout. Vince wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close.

“You’re worth the ride, baby doll” he whispered. His hands travelled to her ass cheeks. “You wanna leave me with something to remember you by?”

“I have to go. Maybe I’ll just leave you wanting more so I know you’ll take that ride,” she teased.

Vince’s grip tightened around her ass cheeks, and he pulled her even closer. Her face was pressed against the smooth, hard skin on his chest. She could smell his faded cologne, taste his saltiness. She wanted him. She needed him. But… she had to go.

His hands slid to the small of her back, and then wandered along her sides. He used his thumbs to direct her arms to rise into the air, and then traced his fingers around the roundness of her breasts through her t-shirt.

Vince stepped back to look at Mindy as she stood in the position he left her. She knew he loved her obedience, and she loved pleasing him.

“Take that t-shirt off, baby doll,” he ordered.

“Vince, I have to go,” she pleaded.

He bit his bottom lip and raised one eyebrow at her disobedience, and then shook his head. Mindy knew he was relentless. He was not going to cave. At least, not before she did. She lowered her arms and pulled her t-shirt over her head, tossing it on the plaid couch from the 1970’s in Vince’s living room.

Vince lowered his mouth to her bare breast, and then began suckling it gently… He pressed his lips tightly around her nipple until he heard her moan. He tugged and scraped his teeth along the sensitive skin until her moan turned into a squeal, and then he stepped back.

“Those shorts gotta go, baby doll,” Vince ordered.

“Vince, I really have to leave,” she insisted weakly.

“I know, I know. All I want is a taste, and then you can think about me all the way there,” he said, grinning.

Mindy could feel her panties getting tacky from her excitement, and her sensitive flesh had already begun to swell and throb. She unfastened her button, then slowly unzipped her shorts, revealing the purple lace panties underneath.

Vince’s eyebrows rose, and he bit his bottom lip once again. He shook his head at her once again, this time in a way that made her know she was in trouble.

“Panties?” he asked, his tone teasing. “What did I tell you about panties?”

“Not to wear them,” Mindy answered.

Vince disappeared from the living room, leaving Mindy standing there with her bare breasts exposed through his large bay window and her shorts undone. She heard his rustling through the drawers in the kitchen, and then he returned with a pair of scissors in his hand. His sly grin made her nervous, but anxiously excited.

He stepped closer to Mindy and tugged at one side of her panties, pulling it tightly between her swollen pussy lips. She let out a squeal at the painfully pleasurable sensation. He snipped the side with the scissors, breaking the material free from her body. He tugged the other side, this time a little harder to create an even louder squeal. He snipped the material, and then gripped the front of her panties from inside her shorts. He gave three small tugs, playfully creating friction against her clit. He then gave one hard tug and slid them between her legs and ou
t of her shorts, causing her to let out a loud moan.

He stood there with her panties in hand, staring. She was quivering from the friction that created a strong heat between her legs. It was painful, but still exciting.

“Take them off.” Vince motioned to her shorts with little expression.

Mindy slid her shorts off and kicked them to the side. She was no longer going to argue with Vince. She felt bad for letting him down, and wanted to make it up to him somehow. She decided to do as she was told.

  “Turn around,” he ordered.

Mindy turned around with her backside exposed to Vince. She was nervously awaiting his next order when she felt his hand slap against her ass. She let out a scream from the unexpected sting on her backside.

  “Bend over,” he ordered.

Mindy bent over and placed her hands on the coffee table in front of her.

  “Spread your legs,” he ordered.

Mindy reluctantly opened her legs a little further, and felt her nakedness take on an entirely new level. She loved how vulnerable he made her feel. She loved that even when she felt she should feel degraded, she felt sexy instead.

“Dammit, baby doll.” Vince’s tone was soft and deep.

Mindy felt his hand on her ass, and then a finger between her cheeks. He slid his finger between her swollen pussy, and then entered her. His finger curved like a hook, and he wiggled it inside as if he was beckoning someone to come over. She felt her juices start to flow as he knelt down between her legs. His tongue skillfully circled her clit, then traced her opening. He pressed his mouth against her clit and sucked hard. She let out a moan, pushing against the finger still hooked inside of her.

Mindy was close to her release. She could feel her legs start to tremble and her nipples harden. Her pussy throbbed, and her clit ached for the desperate release that was about to come. Vince removed his finger and his mouth from her, and then, without warning, slapped her ass again.

“Get dressed. You should probably get going,” he said.

Mindy was still bent over the coffee table, spread out in front of him. She wanted him. She needed him. He had her right where he wanted her. Where he needed her. She stood up and turned around. She stared into Vince’s deep blue eyes for answers. She couldn’t imagine why he would leave her this way.

“If you want me to finish, baby doll, you’ll call,” he whispered in her ear.

Vince stood and watched Mindy as she dressed in his living room. He held her hand, giving her a sweet kiss on the forehead at the front door. She walked to her truck confused, frustrated, still excited.

As she drove off towards the highway and her new life, all she could think about was Vince.

  Chapter Two

Mindy turned the key to her new studio apartment and stood at the door in awe. The high vaulted ceilings and large windows overlooking the city made her finally push Vince and his skillful tongue out of her mind. She was finally where she felt she belonged. Where she had worked so hard to be.

“Come on in!” Kevin’s voice echoed through the large room.

“I didn’t see you standing there,” she said.

“I wanted to be the first one to welcome you,” he said, and then took her hand. Kevin pulled her inside and embraced her in his arms. “I’m so glad you're here, Mindy,” he whispered.

Mindy still had the faded cologne of Vince in her nose. When it mixed with Kevin’s expensive scent, it smelled cheap and dirty.

“This place is amazing,” she exclaimed as she pulled away from his embrace.

“I know you will love it here, Mindy,” he said.

She loved how he said her name. It dripped from his lips like honey. She sat her suitcase down and walked from room to room, exploring her new home. The bedroom was already furnished with a king size bed with a white down comforter and tons of colorful pillows, and the living room housed a white sectional sofa that was large enough to seat twelve.

Kevin picked up his cell phone and held it to his ear. Mindy was listening as she continued to search the apartment. She heard him telling someone that the truck was parked out front and to come up to get a key.

  “Who’s that?” she asked.

  “Movers,” he responded.

She loved how he took care of everything. How he took care of her. She ran into his arms, and then planted a kiss on his forehead. “You’re amazing, Kevin,” she said.

The movers arrived within minutes, and once they got the key, it didn’t take them long to carry Mindy’s belongings inside. They placed all of the boxes in the rooms they were designated for by Mindy’s purple marker, and then left.

“Let’s celebrate,” Kevin said, extending his hand to Mindy.

Mindy gripped his hand, then followed him out the door and into the awaiting car outside. He was planning on a fancy dinner, but Mindy was still wearing a t-shirt and shorts from driving all day, and she had her hair pulled up in a ratty ponytail. She convinced him that a slice of New York pizza and a scoop of ice cream was what she really wanted, so he obliged.

“I love how easy you are to please,” Kevin said.

  “I’m a small-town girl,” Mindy reminded him.

“It’s just so refreshing,” he responded.

Mindy was worn out, and the long day ahead of her was closing in. Kevin’s driver dropped her off at her apartment, and he walked her to her door like a true gentleman. He held both of her hands in his as he stared into her eyes. He was so handsome. Mindy loved how even in his casual clothes, he looked so regal and refined. His wavy brown hair fell off his face with perfection, and his lips were so soft and smooth they looked like they were made of silk.

“I look forward to what is yet to come, Mindy,” he whispered.

Mindy’s eyes closed as he leaned in for a kiss. She could taste the salt on his lips as they pressed against hers. His tongue gently parted her lips, entering her mouth with a slow, gentle motion. His kiss was soft, sweet, sexy. His hands pushed around the nape of her neck as he pulled her mouth closer to his. She felt her knees begin to weaken as she let go of control and just fell into the moment.

“Goodnight, Mindy,” he whispered as his mouth left hers.

“Goodnight,” Mindy whispered, and then watched as he descended down the staircase.

She was so confused in that moment. How did she go from never experiencing love and passion to having two men who weakened her knees in the same day? Panic struck as she realized she had promised to call her mother, her father, Veronica, and Vince. She couldn’t bear to talk to him right now. She was afraid he would know she was with another man. She decided to send texts to him and Veronica, and then call her mother.

Her text to Veronica was short and sweet, simply stating she had made it safely. The woman responded quickly with a smiley face, so Mindy figured she was busy working. When she sent the text to Vince, she hesitated, not sure what to say, or how to say it. She didn’t want to lead him on, especially after her simple goodbye had turned into something much more. She had gone there to let him down easy, but she knew she had done anything but that.

Mindy: I am in New York! :)

  Vince: Glad you’re safe baby

  : Exhausted, talk later?

Vince: Anytime….you know where to find me

  Mindy: Goodnight :) :)

  Vince: Goodnight baby doll

She avoided using any endearing pet names in her text, and was careful not to say anything that would upset or excite him. She knew that her over usage of smiley faces was a dead giveaway that she was hiding something, but other than her mother, she was certain no one else had caught on to that fact.

After she spoke to her mother for over an hour, she was ready to fall onto the soft, luxurious bed. She knew that all of her clothes were packed away in the boxes, so she decided to start transferring everything into the large closet before she passed out. Kevin’s movers had offered to put everything in place for her, but she felt odd having strangers going through her personal stuff, especially her unde
rgarments, so she'd declined.

She finally fell onto the large bed, quickly tucking herself under the down comforter. She thought about Kevin and how sweet he was. She loved the way he looked and smelled, how he tasted on her lips. His manners were far better than any man's she had experienced—not that she had much experience. She knew he was the exact man she had always dreamed about: smart, successful, good looking, rich, and cultured.

Her thoughts drifted off the Vince and his vulgar mouth. He was rough and edgy. He had little to no manners, and his education level ended at 9th grade, although Mindy still felt he was a very smart man, just in a different way than Kevin. His good looks were rugged and masculine, and his aggressiveness made her feel more like a woman than any gentleman could. She started thinking about earlier that day. His tongue was on her mind as her feelings from the heat of moment returned. As her thoughts drifted to what he would have done to finish her off, if he so chose to, her fingers disappeared between her legs.

  Chapter Three

New York was everything Mindy had hoped it to be, and Kevin everything and more than she had hoped. He had taken her to art galleries all over the city, to fancy dinners, walks in the park, and even out in the harbor on his family’s yacht one Saturday afternoon. The last couple weeks in the city had been amazing, and she knew she had Kevin to thank for that.

She loved her job and the people she worked with. Kevin’s secretary was never very friendly, but she didn’t have to deal with her very often since she dealt directly with Kevin. Veronica had sent her texts throughout the weeks, asking her how everything was going. Mindy loved sending selfies to her with iconic New York landmarks in the background.

Vince had called twice, once when drunk and once the next day to apologize. His drunken rant consisted of calling Mindy a snob, and then telling her he was done with her. She had cried that night, but felt a relief at the thought of her ties to him being severed. When he called the next day to apologize, she accepted his apology, listening to him as he cried about how much he missed her. She told him she missed him too, but she really hadn't thought about him much in the past weeks.
