Steele: A Step Brother Romance
Page 3
“Stepbrother. And we were last night too,” he says before his lips crash to mine.
He lifts me by the hips, and I wrap my feet around his waist as he pushes me against the wall. My hips grind into his as I try to get closer. I know this is wrong. I know I shouldn’t do this. He left me twice.
All thoughts go out the window when he shoves his hand down my pants. Thank god for yoga pants.
His fingers run up and down my wet slit, and my hips buckle against the overwhelming sensations. His thumb applies pressure on my clit and his middle finger goes deep inside. I let a sigh explode from my lungs at the feeling of him inside of me. I grind my hips into his finger needing more.
“I need more,” I pant out. I’m so fucking wound up.
He inserts another finger inside of me and starts to thrust them up, hitting my G-spot with every thrust.
His mouth clamps down on my neck, and the pain with the pleasure he’s giving me rips my orgasm from me and I moan out his name as I ride his hand.
As soon as I rest my head back against the wall we hear the front door open and voices talking.
“Shit,” I say looking in the direction of the stair case.
“They ain’t gonna come up here. No need for them to since the master bedroom is down stairs,” he says to relax me.
He lets my legs slide down his body as he pulls his hand free from my pants. He sticks the two fingers that were inside of me, into his mouth. He closes his eyes and moans softly as he licks my juices from his fingers. When he opens his eyes again and locks them on me, I almost come again.
“I will never get tired of your sweet fucking taste,” he growls.
I just stare at him not being able to form any words.
“This summer is going to be fucking fun,” he winks as he walks to the staircase.
“This summer will be the fucking death of me,” I grumble out as he walks away.
Chapter Five
Jax
I fucking knew one time wouldn’t be enough of her. I knew it. It’s been five fucking days since the day I tasted her in the hallway. She has dodged me at every turn and won’t stay with me in any room alone. My mom has been in a weird ass mood lately, and mixed with my irritable state I’m in right now, I need to get my dick wet. Only fucking thing is, it seems to only work for one fucking woman anymore.
I walk into the house and call out for my mom. Nothing. I call out for Drew, Jess’s dad. Nothing.
I walk up the stairs, and that’s when I hear it. Her moaning again. Last time I heard this, I about exploded in my fucking pants trying to imagine her pleasing herself.
This time, I’m going to fucking watch it.
I open her door, and the sight I’m graced with had me nearly cuming in my pants like a fucking thirteen year old.
Jess is completely naked, on her knees on the hardwood floor. She has a toy that has a suction cup on the end, suction to the floor, and she’s riding it like her life depends on it. Her back is arched, her hands are on her tits, and her head is thrown back in pure pleasure.
At the sound of my harsh breathing her head comes up, and her eyes meet mine as she stills over her toy.
“Keep going,” I grit out as I pull my lower lip between my teeth.
She rises back up and starts to move her hips again, her eyes never leaving mine. I slam the door and walk to the chair that’s directly in front of her and unbuckle my pants, letting them fall to the floor before I sit down.
As I watch her move, I grasp my cock and take a deep pull from it, making myself groan. Her eyes flick down to my dick and then back up to meet mine. I stroke myself to the pace she has set, as I watch her.
“Touch yourself,” I tell her as I pump myself faster.
She reaches her hand down and starts to rub herself slowly. Her moans are adding fuel to my own fire and I want to be balls deep inside of her. But I won’t risk having her stop and run away from me again.
“Faster,” I tell her.
She starts to ride faster and my fist meets her hips thrust for thrust.
“I’m about there,” she pants out.
“Come for me, baby girl,” I clench out.
She throws her head back and the scream that leaves her throat has my balls tightening with my own release. I watch her hips rock with the waves of her orgasm as I explode all over my stomach.
Her head comes back up, and her eyes meet mine. Her cheeks are pink from passion and I stand up and reach out my hand for hers. She places her palm in mine, and I walk her to the shower in the connected bathroom. I take my shirt and socks off as I wait for the water to warm up. I open the door and let her go first.
“I just want to wash you,” I tell her.
“Okay,” she says as she settles under the hot spray.
I grab her loofah, pour some soap on it, and begin to wash down her body.
“Why did you never speak to me again after you kissed me in high school?” she rushes out.
I’m kind of surprised she even asked. She was the one who snubbed me the next day.
“I was planning on asking you out, actually.” I say as I run the loofah up her legs.
I’m squatted down looking up at her and when her eyes meet mine, I see the surprise in their depths.
“You were?” she says. “Why didn’t you?”
“I didn’t because you ignored me the next day. I saw you at your locker, so I walked over and you slammed the locker shut and walked away.”
Her eyebrows scrunch together as she thinks back to that day.
“So, I figured you didn’t want your rich daddy to know you were with a kid from my side of town. I shrugged it off and went on my way. Then I moved to LA to get away from you. I couldn’t stand to see your perfect little ass walking around me, knowing I couldn’t have you. And you bet that sweet ass of yours that I wasn’t about to fucking watch someone else have you in college either. So I applied for USC and got the fuck out of here,” I say with a shrug.
Her eyes are searching mine, and once something clicks inside of her head her eyes go round.
“No. No, no, no. That’s not how it happened at all. I was looking at my phone in my locker, and I had received a text message from my dad. And I had to stare at it for ten minutes because when he’s drunk and texting it makes no fucking sense. Once I figured out what it said, I was pissed. And hurt. So, I didn’t even see you. I just slammed my locker door and walked away. I actually walked out the door, got in my truck, drove to the lake, and sat there. Staring at the water,” she rushes out.
“What was the text?” I replied.
“My dad informed me that my mother left him. I was pissed because he sent it to me in a text. While I was at school. He didn’t even think or care about how I would react,” Jess spit out.
“Oh. Shit.”
“Yeah. So you ignoring me after hurt. I’m not going to lie to you. When we graduated high school, I thought you were going local, so I went to USC. I’m actually surprised it took us three years to run into each other,” she says as she scrunches her brow.
“Yeah, that’s prolly because I only went for one year. I ended up developing my own computer software, and it’s made me lots of money. So, I quit and now I just work odd jobs to keep me busy,” I smirk when she pops her head up.
“Oh my gosh, Jax! That’s amazing! I’m so happy for you,” she says with a big, bright, beautiful smile.
Her happiness for me is real, I can tell by the look on her face. She wouldn’t want me for any of my money – I can sense that, too. I figured that out as soon as I walked in the house five days ago, and heard her rant at her father. I was shocked by that, honestly. I always thought she was living large off her dad’s money.
“Looks like we never really new each other much at all then, huh,” I say as I tuck some hair behind her ear.
“And now it’s too late,” she whispers.
“Never too late,” I say as I kiss her head.
I shut the water off and grab the closest towel and wrap her up in it
. I grab a towel for myself and wrap it around my waist.
She walks out of the bathroom and I stand there watching her.
There is a loud knock on the door, she jumps, and her eyes get big when she looks back at me.
“I’m getting dressed!” she calls out.
“Oh! Okay. Sorry to bother you, I just didn’t know if you’d seen Jaxson around?” my mom calls through the door.
“No, I haven’t, I’m sorry!” she calls back as I grin.
“Okay! Thanks!” my mom says as she leaves.
I smile at Jess and she glares at me.
I snicker at her as I walk to my jeans on the floor and pull them on.
“You’re going to get us caught one of these days,” she snips.
“And that would be bad?” I ask as I walk to her.
I place my finger under her chin as I give her a quick peck.
“Yes. You’re my brother now,” she quips.
“Mmm. And you have to be the sexiest sister I’ve ever seen,” I wink.
She laughs at that comment and shakes her head.
“You’re dirty,” she murmurs looking up at me.
I reach my hand out and slip my fingers under her towel. I run my fingers up her wet slit and I arch my eyebrow.
“I think you like it,” I whisper.
There is knocking on the door again and she groans while resting her head on my chest.
“Yeah?” she calls out.
“Sorry to bother you, but do you know where Jaxson went?” my mom yells through the door.
My fingers don’t stop exploring her and she sounds a little breathy when she hollers out, “No, I think he took a walk a while ago.”
I snicker and rub her clit harder.
“Oh, okay,” she calls. “Thank you again, dear!”
“Yup! No problem!” Jess replies as she tosses her head back.
“You are so fucking sexy when you lose yourself to passion,” I whisper in her ear.
Her nails bite into my arms as she holds on. Her hips twitch telling me she’s almost there, so I go faster.
She cums all over my hand and I catch her moans with my mouth to keep her quiet, just in case my mom is still outside the door.
“Yup, you like me dirty,” I tell her as I lick off my fingers.
“A little, I’ll admit,” she stands up on tippy toes as she plants a kiss on my lips.
“Get dressed or else we will never make it to supper,” I tell her. “Also, I’ll need you to check that the coast is clear,” I say as I nod to the door.
She laughs, walks to the door, cracks it open, and sticks her head out. She opens the door, and nods that I am clear to go.
I stop on my way out, lean down, and give her a goodbye kiss.
“Until later,” I say as I walk out.
This day has just gotten better.
Chapter Six
Jess
I got my answer for the first time he left, but not the second. I know I’m thinking too far into this but, tell my heart that. The traitor is attaching itself to the man, and I’m freaking out a little. I really shouldn’t lie to myself; my heart was attached years ago. Angel knows about him, but she does not know Jax from that night is Jaxson from high school. She tells me all the time that I need to let him go, because it’s not healthy to hang on to a high school crush. If she only knew how my heart feels about him, how my soul feels connected to the man. Shit – I can’t even explain it to myself.
I walk down the stairs to head for dinner, and I stop by the hallway mirror to make sure my makeup is okay. My father likes to eat together every Tuesday and Thursday. It drives me fucking nuts because usually it’s just him telling me what I should do, and blah blah blah. However, seeing that I skipped Tuesday to avoid Jax, I better go to this one.
I walk into the kitchen as smile at Anthony who is getting ready to go home for the day. He kisses his wife Annie, who is our cook, and she winks at him. They have always been my role models for love, and they don’t even have a clue to the fact.
“Hi, Miss Jessie. How are you, my dear?” Annie asks as she wraps me up in a hug.
“I’m good, Annie. I missed you!” I tell her while falling into her embrace.
“I missed you, too! Will you be attending dinner tonight?” she asks, still holding tight to me.
I roll my eyes and nod yes. “If I have to anyway,” I grumble.
“Well, dear. Try to enjoy yourself,” she says as I try to peek into the dining room window.
“Mhmm,” I respond not really paying attention to anything other than the man who has my heart and head all wrapped in knots.
“He is handsome, you know,” Annie whispers.
“Uhh. . . I don’t know what you mean,” I stumble over my words.
“Sure you do, my sweet Jessie. Don’t you forget,” she taps her temple, “I remember everything,” she whispers as she starts to walk out the door.
She stops with one foot out of the door and turns her torso back to me.
“Remember your happiness above all else, my darling girl.”
And with that she walks out of the room.
I take a deep breath and steady myself to walk into the dining room. Here goes nothing.
I walk in and see my seat is next to Jax’s.
“You’re late,” my dad says.
“Is my food cold?” I reply like the bitch he brings out in me.
“Don’t be a smart ass,” he says because the food hasn’t even been served yet.
“Can’t. It’s what I am,” I smile at him.
I sit down, and hear Jax snicker next to me. Dad reaches for his glass of scotch and takes a long swallow.
“Did you leave any booze for anyone else?” I ask.
“Why do you always have to open your smart mouth?” my dad grumbles, while waving his arms around. “I want to have a nice meal with my new family, and this is the shit you pull?” he snaps.
I notice Arlene jump when he raises his hand. My eyes squint at her as I slowly turn my head and see that Jax also noticed.
“Ma?” he asks with darkening eyes.
“Yes, son?” she answers.
“What was that?” he asks with a dangerous edge to his voice.
“Oh nothing, dear,” she laughs nervously as she pats her hair. “There was a spider on my lap,” she says waving her hand in dismissal.
Jax looks to my father and leans forward across the table resting his elbows on the edge. My hand under the table shoots out and rests on his thigh, trying to ease any tension he may have.
“If I find out that my mother jumped for any single fucking reason, other than a spider on her leg, I will show you the same mercy you have shown her, only ten times worse.” He keeps his eyes on my father for a heartbeat more and shifts them to his mom. “Understand?” his calm voice asks.
“Yes,” his mom answers for her husband. “You’re reacting for no reason anyway. Drew, sweetheart, I have lost my appetite and am tired now. Won’t you tuck me in?” she asks dad.
“Sure thing, Arlene,” he replies and gets up.
When they walk out of the room I turn my head and search his eyes.
“Has he ever raised a hand to you?” he asks immediately with barely constrained anger.
“Once, but it was years ago, I think he was just as shocked as me.” I close my eyes at the memory. “But I am pretty sure that’s why my mom left him. Annie talked me into calling her after I vented to her one night. Annie said she might have left for a reason and to trust my mom. So, I called her. And she never came right out and said he beat her, but she said she couldn’t deal with his anger and drinking anymore. And that she knew I would be okay here because he wouldn’t hurt me.” I huff a humorless laugh. “Anyway, she said that she left me behind because she couldn’t afford to take me. And That he had more money than her and would fight her and win anyway. But she always said she’d come back for me when she was stable. By the time she got stable I was leaving for college. I wanted out of this town.
So, she helps me pay my tuition, kind of like a pay me back I guess.” I shrug.
Annie was the person who convinced me to write her one night my senior year of high school to find out why she left. I couldn’t believe the reasons when she told me. But after one night that same year, I found out quickly that my mom wasn’t lying to me.
I look up at his eyes again and I cover my mouth. “That’s why she left, isn’t it? It wasn’t the alcohol. It was abuse.” Tears well up in my eyes and I shake my head. “I was so mad at her for so long for leaving me here. But when she left, she didn’t ask for a thing, for fear that he wouldn’t let her go. I never understood what she meant by that, but I think I get it now. I had to stay here because she couldn’t provide for me. By the time she was able, I had moved to LA. God, how stupid can I be?” I groan.
“It’s okay, Jess. Wasn’t your fault your mom didn’t flaunt the abuse. And fucking good for her for getting out. But I will say this, just so you’re aware. If I see one unexplainable bruise on my mom,” he lifts my chin, “or you, he will wish he never had arms to swing with when I’m done.” He says as his eyes search mine.
I nod my head and close my eyes. I lean my face into his touch and kiss his palm.
“I understand, and I agree,” I say
“Good, I hate to lose you over it,” he whispers.
I look over at the door and see it slightly swinging closed. Someone just walked in here. I know that it was Annie, but I’m not even worried about the affection that she has most likely just seen between me and Jax.
“Why did you bail out on me that night in LA?” I exclaim before I can chicken out.
He sighs and runs his hand down his face and over his beard.
“That goes back to the miscommunication of high school, Jess. I left before you could ignore me again. You don’t get it, do you?” he asks and I’m actually baffled.
“What do you mean?”
“I was hot for you all through school. When I kissed you, I did it because your perfect fucking lips wouldn’t stop yelling at me. And I craved the taste of you. I kissed you with everything I had in me. Because back then, that’s the only thing I had to offer. So when I thought you ignored me, I thought oh well fuck it. But it wasn’t that simple. You were it for me. I moved to LA thinking you were staying in town, and every woman who has ever warmed my bed, reminded me of you in some sort of way. As fucked up as that sounds. So, when I walked into the kitchen the night of the party, and you turned around in that smoking hot fucking silver dress. . .” he groans and drops his head back for a second. “I thought to myself no way. And when you didn’t recognize my change in fashion, or my beard and longer hair, I wanted to see if you would recognize me at all. And I knew you were pretty drunk. I knew I should have just nodded my head and kept walking. However, it was like you had this powerful pull over me. You had this connection to my soul. And once those fucking lips of yours touched my skin, it was fair game,” he ends with a shrug.
