The priest yapped on but my focus was on my girl. My ring sat on her finger, but the large diamond’s sparkle was nowhere near as bright as the smile on her face. As she took my hand, I was expecting her to put the simple platinum band on my finger; instead, a small white stick was placed across my palm. The only reason I knew what I held was because I had made her do one every month.
“Look.” Her voice was whisper-soft and the priest was watching our every move. Yeah, we were changing things up, but hell, as far as I was concerned, we were married.
Flipping the small piece of plastic over, I was greeted with the sight of not one, but two pale pink lines. My knees buckled and pulling her close, I buried my face into her soft stomach. I felt her slip the ring over my finger before she started combing her fingers through my hair.
Our friends and family shuffled in their seats and the priest made a coughing sound, which was starting to piss me off. As I turned my head to tell him where to go, Georgia covered my mouth with her hand, stopping my choice words from coming out.
“You going to kiss me, Cynfor?” Her beautiful honey eyes glistened down at me, one silver teardrop falling from them.
“Every fucking day.”
The End
About the author…
Sassie Lewis is a born and bred Australian. She lives on the outskirts of Brisbane Queensland, with her husband, two daughters, one son and a dog that hates having a bath.
She swears like a sailor, and blames her ability to over share personal matters - matters that fall into that TMI category - on a faulty brain to mouth filter, that forgets to tell her “This isn’t appropriate dinner conversation”.
An avid reader since childhood. Sassie came across erotic romance in her mid-twenties, falling deeply, madly in lust with the genre instantly. And has had wet panties ever since.
With her somewhat skewed and unique view of the world, along with a little encouragement from her father, she thought what the heck! and she penned her first erotic romance.
She hopes to drag you into the world she’s created, and leave you as breathless and wanting, for her fictional friends, as she became, while writing them.
When not writing you can find Sassie on Facebook, Twitter, and when she remembers she’d got one, her website.
