Whatever happened, he was ready for it. He had survived incredible odds since coming to this country, with its remarkably resilient people and beautiful land, and had come out better for it. Whatever life threw at him in the future, he would meet it head-on. Because he had the most amazing friends a man could ask for watching his back, and a lover who he knew would always be there. And that's all he would ever need.
