Why raise your sword if you have no mate or family? Elite alien warrior Benyon spends his time on Earth training humans in martial arts. He's come to love the three human children with warrior-spirits, and will do anything to prevent their unhappiness- even if it means going toe-to-toe with their mother- a woman who entices him with her fierce temper, lush beauty and strength of will to raise her children alone.

  Warrior’s Vow

Terminally ill bride candidate + an alien wolf in doctor's clothing = healing that lasts longer than a lifetime.

He refuses to watch another woman he loves die. Secret warrior Jaron came to Earth to study human medicine as a part of the Yadeshi-human treaty and exchange program. When Mila entered his office months ago, he realized she possessed the spirit of warrior and healer- and decided he would do everything to make sure she lived. Even against her will. Even if it means bonding her as his mate... without her full knowledge. He's determined that when she finds out what he has done, she won't reject him.

Defiance was good in the field. She prided herself on being toned and though sometimes the sisters got in the way, she got more than her fair share of male attention. There was a clear group each semester that took her classes simply for her hotness factor. It had been a while, she admitted to herself, but that had been her choice. When one is on the fast track, and in front of horny students all day, it was best to play down the sexy angle, and sneak in the occasional fling with someone not in academia when she could.

But none of her skills or athletic abilities could prepare her for her current predicament. About thirty feet into the cave, she’d spotted something peculiar. It was a dark pool, nearly like someone had molded a sheet of black glass over the bottom of the cave. It wasn’t too large, but it completely blocked the way back into the rest of the cave.

That’s when Defiance did something stupid. She tested it out with the toe of her sneaker. The surface shimmered. So it was liquid. She grabbed a sample vial out of her pocket, and dipped it into the pool. Rather than pouring into the vial, it oozed over it. Defiance dropped it in surprise. The vial immediately sunk below the surface.

  “Well. That’s interesting.”

Her curiosity was now in full force. She could have sworn it had moved by itself, but that was impossible. Perhaps there was a current running silently under the surface. She had to get a sample for the lab.

She grabbed a plastic bag and covered her hand. She dipped her hand into the goo and tried to scoop it up. Instead, the blackness swallowed the bag and her hand with it. She pulled back, and pulled firmly, but she was stuck. Her hand would not come out of the pool. Panic set in and she took several deep breaths, thinking perhaps a slow tug would release her hand.

Defiance slowly put pressure on the goo, but it was immoveable. She wiggled her fingers and realized that the plastic bag was gone. Not removed. Dissolved. Absorbed.

“Let go!” Thoughts of spending her life handless made her redouble her efforts. She wrapped her free hand around her wrist and tugged. Before she could let go, the goo surged up her arm and suddenly both her hands were covered. Defiance froze like a frightened animal. It was moving.

A scientist dreamed of finding a new and exotic species and she’d never get any credit for it. She’d die before anyone ever knew. It was going to devour her. Defiance was going to be eaten by a heretofore undiscovered creature. Bracing herself against the floor, she pulled, but the ooze slowly crept up her arm. Despite the coolness of the cave, it was warm against her skin.

The creature, or whatever it was, gave her hands a yank, toppling her completely into the pool. For a moment she just lay on the surface, hands bound by goo out in front of her, but soon enough, she sank like quicksand. She rolled, head up, to breath until the last minute. Defiance was a fighter to the end.

When her intrepid grad students attempt a rescue, will Defiance really want to go?

  About Abigail

The Handyman is actually the first naughty story that I wrote, but it was secret until I was inspired to write Slut of Frankenstein as a contest with my friend, Nancey Cummings. There’s nothing like a road trip and a bottle of wine to get the juices flowing. Once my secret was out, I couldn’t get enough of writing them.

Then I discovered the world of Alpha Aliens and became a Starr Huntress. Because seriously… aliens are hot! I currently live in Los Angeles with my dog and my cats. When I’m not writing, I enjoy computer games, cheesy sci-fi TV, and crafting.

  Keep up with my shenanigans:
