My already ample breasts had become even larger. My hips were still narrow, but I had put on a little more padding. I sort of liked it. It made me look older and more human. I didn't want to be human, but I wanted to fit in. Not that my constantly fluttering wings would ever truly allow that. I frowned at my reflection.
“We really did it this time, Belladonna.” I told myself. “We've been into messes before, but I don't see a way out of this one.”
I was so lost to my thoughts that I didn't hear Joseph walk into the room. He laughed at my startled expression when he appeared behind me in the mirror. I don't like being laughed at, but I love to hear Joseph laugh so I only give him a mock scolding look in the mirror.
The mirror gives me a good view of Joseph as he strips off his shirt revealing his well muscled arms and chest. He always says he got them from his life of hard work. I don't care where they came from as long as he doesn't send them back. Joseph looks so strong and sexy. My eyes trail down his torso as he slips out of his pants. I bite my lip in anticipation as I watch his thick member spring free. He's already half hard. My wings are fluttering again and I'm standing in my own personal field of flowers.
Joseph walks over to me his green eyes filled with the same passion I feel building in my belly. He carefully wraps his strong arms around me, being sure not to bend my wings in an awkward position. I watch in the mirror as his strong hands cup my breasts. He's gentle with them and I'm glad because feeding the baby has left them sore.
I can feel his now fully erect manhood and the rest of his body pressed up hard against my back and wings. I move my wings slightly taking care to trail one across the length of his hardness.
Joseph moans and his eyelids flutter. He presses his hardness into the small of my back and I sigh. It feels so good to be close to him again. The heat in my belly is rising and we haven't even started to make love yet.
One of his hands trail down my stomach to my secret crevice. He caresses it gently before parting it. It's the first time I've really looked at myself down there, but I can't help but to take in the view the mirror offers. My sex is pink like a flower, and my clit looks like a small bud waiting to open into a blossom. I'm glistening wet. Joseph touches my clit gently and I gasp in my pleasure. It's been so long since he's touched me there that the sensations strike me just as hard as the first time. I watch in wide-eyed anticipation as he massages my clit. It twitches under his touch and I want to beg him to take me right here and now on the bedroom floor, but I don't. I'm too mesmerized by the movements of his fingers in my folds.
Being able to watch as he plays with me makes it more exciting. He slips two of his long strong fingers into my body and I moan out loudly as they brush against all my hidden pleasure spots. His thumb plays at my clit as he works his fingers in and out of my body mimicking the movements his organ usually makes.
I lean my head back and look up into his green eyes. Loosing sight of the mirror as I become lost to his eyes and the pleasure he's evoking from my body. His lips brush across mine. They're so soft and warm, reminding me of the first tiny blossom of spring. I arch my back in pleasure and his mouth completely over takes mine. His tongue is in my mouth before I realize he's kissing me. My tongue moves instinctively knowing the dance his has taught it.
My eyes roll back in my head as the fire in my belly explodes. Joseph has to hold tight to me, because my knees go week and I think I'm going to crumple to the floor. One of his strong arms hold me up, but his other hand is still slowly working my body.
“Joseph!” I whine. “ I want to feel you inside of me. You're so hard!”
Joseph chuckles, but even his laugh is deep and lustful. I grin when I realize he wants me as much as I want him. I turn around and wrap my arms around his broad shoulders. Using my wings I gently fly up and wrap my legs around his waist. His hard manhood is now pressed between my legs and I can feel his pulse pounding. I kiss him lustfully and grind against it. He moans and I giggle.
“You are so horny!” I tell him still moving my body.
I reach my hand in between us and guide him into my secret place. We both moan as I slide over him taking him into the hilt. The familiar feeling of fullness sends my head swirling and re-sparks the fire in my belly. What was an ember is now as passionate as a raging forest fire. I don't wait for Joseph to thrust. My body is too hungry for pleasure. I begin to move up and down his member digging my fingernails into his shoulders to keep my balance.
His strong hands find my hips and help guide me, but I'm moving faster than his movements. My wings are fluttering beyond control adding to the layer of flowers that already cover the floor. Carefully, Joseph lowers us to the floor. The flowers feel good against my wings, but I want to be on top this time. I want to control our movements as we seek out our mutual pleasure. It's been too long and Joseph's slow movements frustrate me. I know I could tell him, but I decide to let my actions do the talking.
I flip him over onto his back making sure to keep a grip on his member with my body. Joseph's eyes go wide with pleasure as I brace my hands against his strong chest and move up and down over his hardness again and again. He moans in pleasure as I squeeze him whenever I hit a spot that feels particularly good.
I move quickly in hard movements digging my nails into his chest. My eyes roll back in my head and I call out my climax. I've never come this hard before. The heat in my belly feels like it's exploding again and again. I keep moving seeking more and more. My muscles are aching from the exertion, but I'm still hungry for him and Joseph is still hard.
Joseph's fingers find my clit again and I cry out. He works my little swollen nub as I move frantically over his throbbing member. My frantic moves make his organ twitch and I know he's going to explode soon. The thought of his sticky seed covering my insides only urges me on. I ride him hard until I take him over the edge. He comes hard inside of me and calls out his release.
I collapse on top of Joseph panting. I kiss his neck still wanting to be close to him. He's still inside of me when he falls asleep. I would have stayed there forever, but the baby cried and I had to get up. Slowly, I slid off of him trying not to wake him. He stirred and smiled at me.
“Get in the bed.” I grinned at him as I left the room.
Our life fell into an easy routine as it had before Joey's birth except I stayed home with the baby. I was bored at times, but most days the fascination of my child's growth would keep me entertained for hours.
The spring was quickly approaching, but there was no sign of the Summer Fae. I kept watch out the big picture window whenever I wasn't busy with Joseph or the baby. Eventually, I brought up my concern to Joseph.
“I wouldn't worry about it. Sometimes you guys wouldn't get here until the middle of April.” He said giving me a reassuring smile.
“I can't help it.” I frowned. “Something just feels wrong.”
Joseph took our sleeping baby from my arms and lay him in his cradle. He kissed my neck and slide his hand inside of my pink dress. He's always trying to get me to wear other things, but most of the time I pay him no mind. The fae don't change clothes often, because our silk never wears or becomes soiled. It frustrates him, but I hold tight to the one thing I have left of my old life.
“I can think of a few things that might take your mind off of it.” He whispers into my ear.
I giggle despite my worries and nervous tension. I'm quickly learning that it's hard to think of anything else when the thought of making love to Joseph enters my mind. I let him lower me to my back. The sofa feels soft and a little fuzzy against my wings. Joseph moves my dress up above my hips revealing that I'm already wet between my legs.
Joseph leans down and places a single kiss on my mound and I sigh. The fire isn't as intense this time and I can enjoy the simplicity of his loving touch. He lifts my legs onto his shoulders and then frees his manhood from his pants revealing that he is just as ready as I am.
I can feel the head of him pressing against my opening when the baby
starts to cry. We both remain where we are for a moment hoping that he's just letting out a lone cry. He goes silent for a moment and then bellows out again. Smiling at him I slip out from under him and go to check on the baby.
I feed him and rock him back to sleep before returning to Joseph. I become mesmerized with watching him sleep. He moves his wings in his sleep and I wonder if Joey is dreaming about flying. When he's older I'll have to remember to ask him.
By the time I get back to the living room Joseph has fallen asleep on the sofa. I grab the blanket from the bedroom and cover him up. He looks so peaceful that I can't bring myself to wake him.
The weeks pass by and I find that the baby interrupts us a lot. Joseph gets frustrated sometimes, but I can't help myself. When the baby cries I'm pulled to answer him. Joey means so much to me. His tiny little body is so fragile and he needs me. I enjoy sitting in front of the window holding him close. He's almost four months old now so I try to let him look out the window. I don't think he sees very well yet, but his eyes are becoming more alert.
Soon I'll take him to see the forest. I'll have to do it while Joseph is out working, because he thinks we should keep Joey inside. He still doesn't understand that if we were back home Joey and I would live outside. Besides spring should be here soon and my people will be coming back. Maybe if the Summer Queen sees how precious my little Joey is she'll let me talk to the others. If she sees his wings she'll know he's one of us.
One day while Joseph is gone I go to look at the calendar by the desk he uses for records. It's two days from the first of May. The Summer Fae are late. I grab up little Joey and run to the window. I can see a few of the Winter Fae, but they look tired and confused too. I almost run out to ask them what is wrong, but then remember that they can't see me either.
I wrap Joey in a big thick blanket and leave the house. It's chilly and I don't know how well he'll stand up to the cold. A few moments of cold freeze me to the bone, but his daddy tolerates it well enough. After making sure Joseph isn't somewhere watching I head towards the forest. Maybe the door's broken or maybe something is blocking it.
I can feel Joey's wings fluttering as I walk. I smile down at him and rub my nose to his. He giggles at me and I laugh in return. This is a game we've played for hours, but today I have work to do. I have to find out what's keep the Summer Fae from returning.
In a few minutes we're at the tree that houses the door. There's nothing blocking it and it looks the same as ever. I walk around the tree looking for any sign of change. Something small could mean ruin for a doorway between worlds. I sigh and sit down. There's nothing. The Summer Fae shouldn't have a problem getting back here. Are they angry at me? Did I do something that made them not want to come back? Where they going to make me live in a cold world forever?
Lost to my thoughts I didn't realize that I wasn't holding onto Joey tight enough and before I knew it he flew right out of my arms. I gasped in surprise and then smiled in awe. My baby was flying for the first time! I watched him carefully as he hovered in the air worrying that his tiny wings wouldn't be strong enough to hold him in the air for very long. I giggled as he moved slowly towards the tree.
“Silly, you can't go through there.” I told him. “The door is broken.”
He ignored my words and flew through the tree. I gasped and followed behind him. I was surprised that I didn't run into the tree trunk, after all I was banished. Joey flew into my arms as soon as he saw me.
I nearly cried as I looked around what was once my home. Fae lay scattered here and there and I could hear a horrible racket in the distance. I almost fled immediately, but knew I had to find out what had happened.
I spotted Poppy hiding behind a large oak tree and ran over to her. Her body was shaking and I could tell she had been crying. My arms held Joey tightly as I knelt beside of her.
“Poppy, what's going on?!” I asked hurriedly.
“They came through the door. We thought we shut it, but they came through in the middle of winter!” Poppy sobbed.
“Who are they?” I asked.
“We don't know who they are, but they're destroying everything! The Fae Warriors won't wake up!” She said through her tears.
“The what?” I asked.
“The Fae Warriors, Belladonna!” She exclaimed.
“Oh!” I said remembering the story from when I was younger.
The story said the mighty Fae Warriors only woke when there was trouble. A gong would sound and call them to defend the fae and their world.
“What can we do?” I asked her.
“I don't know!” She sobbed. “A lot of us have tried again and again to strike the gong and awaken them, but it doesn't work, Belladonna! It doesn't work!”
“I don't know what to do!” I cried.
Tears were running freely down my cheeks and Joey was screaming out his dismay. I felt overwhelmed. I didn't know how to help, and I was too afraid to stay.
“I'm sorry, Poppy!” I said and gave her a quick one-armed hug before running off.
I ran back towards the door and it let me out just as easily as it had let me in. My feet carried me to the house instinctively. I was halfway back when I ran into Joseph's strong chest.
“Belladonna!” He said in relief.
For a moment I allowed myself to enjoy the comfort and safety of his arms. I sobbed into his strong chest unable to contain my emotion.
“What happened?” He asked pulling back so he could see my face.
I told him what I seen and what Poppy had told me quickly before I lost my courage to speak about it.
“Can we help?” He asked.
The concern in his green eyes touched something deep inside of me. I wasn't sure we could, but Joseph knew so much more than I did so for a moment I felt hope.
“I don't know!” I cried.
“Let's go see if I can get through too. If it's letting you through it might be malfunctioning. Maybe I can figure out how to help.” Joseph said taking my hand.
We moved quickly through the forest back to the tree door. I walked through keeping a tight grip on Joseph's hand. I gasped in shock as he followed me through without incident. Once on the other side I looked around for Poppy, but didn't see her. The noise was getting closer and I could see blood flying through the air from where I was. Whatever had broken in was killing the summer fae!
“We've got to wake the warriors!” I yelled to Joseph over the commotion.
“Take me there!” He yelled back.
My feet knew the way even though my mind had forgotten. I held baby Joey close to me with one arm and kept a grip on Joseph with the other. I was afraid if the others saw him that they would hurt him. Humans aren't supposed to be here. This isn't their world. We ran through the hills of my childhood until finally we reached the valley where the warriors are said to sleep. I saw the gong in the distance, but Joseph was pulling me in the other direction.
“Stop it!” I yelled at him. “We have to sound the gong! Joseph! Stop it right now!”
I turned to look at him and saw why he was pulling me away. There was a large man chasing after us. He moved soundlessly and with impressive speed. I tripped as I turned to run. Our pursuer caught my ankle and began pulling me away. I lost my grip on the baby as I struggled to get away from my attacker. Joseph clung to me with one hand and tried to punch the big man with the other. He was landing blows, but it didn't seem to affect the man that seemed intent on taking me.
“Joseph!” I yelled. “Don't let him take me! Please! Please, don't let him take me!”
I couldn't hear the last part of my own words, because the gong sounded loudly. I could feel the vibration of its noise running through my veins and suddenly my attacker let go of my ankle. Joseph pulled me into his arms, but I had to find Joey. I looked around for him to see him flying close to the gong. Was it him that had sounded it?
