A Dopeman & His Shawty Page 6

  “Kenji lets go.”

“Rodney can you get him to take me back? Please.” She cried.

“Hell no bitch. How many gay motherfuckers did you call me?” I snapped my head to look at Robin and she backed up. She knows I didn’t play when it came to my brother.

“I hope he finds someone else, gives her a baby, gets married and leave you in the dust.” Rodney walked up on her.

“You played the role well in front of my brother and the only reason I never mentioned it is because he truly loved you. Now, I can care less.” Rodney shrugged and got in the truck.

“Kenji, I didn’t…” She tried to plead her case.

“If I even thought about giving you another chance, it’ll never happen now. You know how I feel about my brother. He gets enough slack in the streets with ignorant people but finding out you were one of them only makes my hate for you grow. Stay the fuck away from me.” I hopped in my truck and bounced. If I didn’t, no one would’ve been able to stop me from killing her.

“What the hell happened to your neck?” My mother barked and ran to get some bacitracin. I wanted to stop by my house to grab some things but it’s best I stayed away.

“Gina.” My mother sucked her teeth and poured peroxide on the tissue before placing it on my neck.

“I told you to leave that crazy bitch alone.” My mother couldn’t stand Gina for this reason right here. Anytime we got into an argument or I tried to leave, she’d attack me.

It didn’t start happening until about a year ago. I don’t know what changed or why she felt the need to put hands on me when I’ve never done it to her.

“Why she scratch you this time?”

“I found condoms in her car.” My mom rolled her eyes.

“Something told me the bitch was cheating.” I looked at my mom.

“I’m serious. The last time we saw her at Thanksgiving she kept running out to answer her phone, then she was always texting and tried to say it was an email. I was gonna tell you, but you would’ve blamed it on me not liking her.”

“True.” I would’ve because like I said before, certain family members adored her and others didn’t.

DING DONG! My mother finished putting the bacitracin on my neck and stood to answer the door.

“If that’s her, I’m gonna beat her ass.” I doubt Gina would come here. She knows exactly the type of person my mother is.

I heard my mother say hello and went upstairs. If she’s saying hello it damn sure ain’t Gina or Kenji. I was happy he came out because not only would she not let me leave, my anger started to kick in and I didn’t wanna hit her. My strength is ten times worse than hers. It’s no way I wouldn’t have knocked her out.

I went in the extra room my mom has for me here, stripped outta my clothes and took a shower. I felt the stinging from the scratches but there wasn’t a way to avoid it getting wet. After about ten minutes, I stepped out, grabbed the towel to dry off and walked in the room; only to be surprised by the person sitting on the bed. Her head was down but I knew exactly who it was. I lifted her head and tears were cascading down her face.

“Looks like we both had a bad day.” She nodded. I grabbed my clothes and dressed in the bathroom.

I came out and Sade was in the exact same spot. I grabbed the ottoman in front of the bed, moved it in front of her and sat.

“You ready to talk?” I asked and didn’t expect to hear what I did.

“I can’t stop thinking about you. I don’t know if it’s because I’m going through a horrible situation or the fact you listened when I spoke. I find myself wanting to be at the center more than ever now and if you’re not there, I try and wait. If you don’t come, I return when I can and pretend to wanna use the exercise equipment because I can see in your office.” I had a grin on my face because I see her at the center staring but never said a word. We’ve only spoken a couple of times but damn, she wanted me.

“I’m flattered Sade but we both have someone. Well I’m newly single but you’re not.”

“I knowwww.” She put her head back and blew her breath.

“How did you find me?” She laughed and wiped her face.

“I had my own issue inside and ran out. I saw what happened with your girl and wanted to arrest her.” I started laughing.

“I’m serious. Anyway, when you left, so did I.” I shook my head.

“I was scared to knock but got over the fear when I realized it couldn’t be your house because the chick would’ve been here. Your mom is very nice.”

“Yea well, my mom loves everyone but Gina.” I stood and caught her staring.

“You’re taken Sade.” I reminded her, moved the ottoman and turned to see her removing her shirt.

“Shit. He did this to you?” I touched the scars on her body. She winced in pain when I slid my finger across the one close to her belly button.

  “You need a doctor.”

“I’ll be fine. I took my shirt off because I needed someone to take pictures. The lawyer said the more, the better.”

“Sade, this isn’t ok.” I took the phone from her.

“I know Jai. You think I like going home to a man who beats me and purposely calls me another woman’s name during sex?”

“Come again.” I had to be hearing shit. Ain’t no way her man that disrespectful.

“Evidently, he wants to fuck his new secretary, along with another cop and a few lawyers from here. Because he can’t have them, it’s who I have to become in the bedroom. He makes me do things; he wants them to do. It’s like I have to be the fantasy.” My facial expression had to be crazy. She plopped down on the bed.

“I’ve been beaten, humiliated, embarrassed, belittled and treated like trash at work. You would think someone would feel sorry and step in but nope.”

“Wait a minute. You work with him?”

“Oh you didn’t know. I’m Detective Simpson and he’s Captain Oxford.”

“No shit?” I said and started taking the photos for her. I sent them to myself in case he found her phone and deleted them.

“No wonder you’re having a problem leaving. That police code shit is serious.” There’s a no snitching rule in the streets and on the police force.

“You’re telling me.” She unbuttoned her pants.

“I have to warn you; I’ve been working all day and then went to help Tashi. I haven’t had a chance to shower so...”

“So what? You don’t stink.” She broke down crying.

“Did I say something?” I put the phone down and sat next to her.

“The day I met you at the soul food place, I went home, and he told me I took too long and bit down on my shoulder blade so hard, he broke the skin.” She pointed to the spot I previously asked her about.

“He told me I better not be fucking anyone and had me strip. Long story short, he went to go down on me and said I was sweaty and should’ve washed before letting him get close. I told him it was hot out and I had been at work since five in the morning, but he didn’t care. He made me feed him dinner, then fucked me as he imagined someone else.” I felt bad because this woman was living in a real live nightmare.

“Come on.” I led her in the bathroom and turned on the shower.

“I don’t smell anything and trust, if your pussy stunk, it wouldn’t have been a way to keep the smell away. However; if you feel more comfortable taking a shower, be my guest.” She took her panties and bra off and I wanted to kill the nigga myself. You saw whelps all over her ass and back.

“I’ll be out here when you’re done.” She nodded. I closed the door and went downstairs to speak to my mom who was at the kitchen table crying.

  “What’s wrong with you?”

“I came up the stairs to see if she wanted something to drink and overheard her story. How can anyone live in that environment?”

“I know but what am I supposed to do? I have my own shit going on and do I really wanna deal with having cops on my back?”

  “
At least get her protection or something.”

“Police have their own code. If I went there demanding she be transferred, it’s no telling what they’d try and pin on me.”

  “Jai.”

“I’ll offer her to stay somewhere else but it’s up to her.” My mom agreed. I grabbed two waters and went back upstairs.

“Damn.” I let slip out when she stepped in the room. Her hair was wet and clinging to her face and the water was still on the top portion of her body. Even with the scars, she was pretty as hell.

“Do you have shorts and a T-shirt I can borrow. I’m not ok putting on dirty underwear.” I put the bottles on the dresser and grabbed something for her

“Here.” I handed it to her and the towel dropped. I don’t know if it was an accident or not. Whatever the case, it didn’t matter because the two of us were now engaged in swapping spit. She placed her legs around my waist and I shut the door with my foot.

“Sssss.” Her head went back as I sucked on her neck. My dick was brick hard and dying to feel inside. I didn’t have time for foreplay and dropped my shorts and boxers. I put the tip at her entrance and once I entered, she pushed me away

“I’m sorry Jai. I can’t.” I wasn’t even mad as she threw her clothes on and tossed her panties in the trash.

“I want you but me and him have unprotected sex. I can’t jeopardize your health when I’m not sure if he’s given me anything.”

“I respect that.” I had no business about to slide in without a condom anyway. I pulled her close to me and went back to kissing her.

“I have to stop but shit, I want you.” She pushed me against the door, dropped to her knees and gobbled my dick up. As she sucked, I heard her moaning and noticed her circling her clit.

“Oh fuck Sade.” She was doing me better than any woman I’ve ever been with. My hand wrapped around her hair as I moved in and out slowly.

“I want you to cum with me Jai.” I nodded and watched her slob, spit, suck and jerk me off. I had to grab the door handle and bite down on my lip to keep from moaning when she pulled my nut out.

“You can suck some dick.” I helped her up and as bad as I wanted to taste her, I couldn’t. She’d have to be tested.

“He doesn’t let me do it a lot and when I do, it’s because he’s forcing me.” I grabbed her face with both hands.

“I don’t want you to go back.” I kissed her again.

“I have to because he’ll kill my sister and Tashi.”

“Word?” I figured he’d use someone in her family as an excuse on why she couldn’t leave. Its what most abusers do.

“He has photos of them everywhere; he even has some at night outside their houses. Jai, he’s crazy and I can’t put them in a bad situation.”

“So you’re gonna stay?” All of a sudden, I caught an attitude. I don’t know if it’s because of how good the head was or what, but I know she shouldn’t return home.

“Jai, we don’t have people to protect us. I don’t have anyone protecting me. I’ve gone to his boss, internal affairs, a lawyer and no one is helping me. I don’t know what else to do.” She started crying at the same time her phone rang. She saw the caller and started panicking.

“He’s home. I have to go.”

  “Sade.”

“I’ll try and come back. Please don’t write me off.” She kissed my lips and ran out the house and my mom asked me what happened. I told her everything minus the banging ass head and she agreed with me. She has to be ready and until she is, no one can help.

  Sade

I walked in the house and noticed Kerron wasn’t there. I ran in the bathroom, brushed my teeth, washed my pussy because sex or not, Jai had me hot and bothered. I definitely don’t need Kerron wanting sex and I’m already moist.

After finishing in the bathroom, I walked around the house making sure everything was perfect. Not one dish in the sink, no clothes in the laundry and even lit an incense to put a fresh aroma in here.

Maybe twenty minutes later when I was on the bed watching television, the front door slammed. Preparing myself for a major beat down, I sat up and waited.

Another twenty minutes went by and no Kerron. I put my foot in slippers and made my way downstairs to see where he was. Imagine my surprise to witness some woman riding him on the back porch. Did he not know I was home, or did he not care?

In any case, I made my presence known because let’s be honest; this is foul as fuck. It’s no way in hell he’d expect me to stay after this. I cleared my throat and the woman smirked. I had to shake my head because it’s the woman Monique he wanted so bad.

“Kerron can we talk?” I asked.

“When we’re finished boo. I need to get this out. Mmm.” She said and pressed Kerron’s head into her chest. This woman had no shame whatsoever for having sex with him. Both of them were butt ass naked without a care in the world.

  “Kerron.”

“You heard what she said Sade. Damn girl, I knew this pussy was worth it.” He slammed her up and down on his dick. I didn’t shed one tear watching him satisfy someone else. Actually, he made me feel better about giving Jai head.

I picked up my phone to text him and realized we never exchanged numbers. I saw him doing something on my phone but because I erase everything before coming home. If he did put his number in, its gone.

I laid down and fell asleep; only to be awaken by the Monique bitch. I shouldn’t call her that but ever since Kerron has shown interest in her at work, she’s been throwing shade at me. I don’t know why? The bitch can have these problems.

“You gotta go boo.” She stood on the side of the bed with her arms folded. I rolled over and saw two suitcases and Kerron was throwing my clothes inside.

  “What are you doing?”

“Monique doesn’t want you here Sade, so you have to go.” I sat up.

“Excuse me.” Monique stood there smirking.

“What else do you need outta here?” I walked over to him.

“Kerron this is our house. How can you allow some woman you just met to come in here and dictate our relationship?” If you’re wondering; I had to play the upset girlfriend to make it look real. I could care less about him kicking me out. He gripped my arm and dragged me down the stairs.

“I’m only going to say this once.” He glanced up the stairs to make sure Monique wasn’t there.

“You’re gonna be my chick on the side.”

  “Kerron you’re bugging.”

BAM! He slammed my head into the wall.

“You’re gonna find a new place, give me the key and pussy on demand. Are we clear?” I wiped the blood trickling down my eye.

“I know you’re not trying to make plans with her outside of me.” Monique made her way down the stairs. I knew the next statement I made would have repercussions, but I don’t care.

“Actually, he wants me to get another place and give him a key and pussy.” His face was tight.

“You lying bitch.” The blows started coming and all I did was crouch down against the door and take it. Kick after kick, punch after punch and Monique didn’t say or do anything.

By the time he finished, it felt like I was run over by a mack truck. My body was drug down the steps, and I heard him telling Monique the only thing I’m leaving with is the two suitcases he placed in the car.

“Get the fuck from in front of my house before someone calls the cops.” I could barely walk but used my strength to get in the driver’s seat.

“If you even think about mentioning this to anyone, I’ll fucking kill you.” He kissed my cheek and told me to pull off. Thank you Jesus for putting Monique in his life. I should warn her that he’s gonna do the same to her, but she saw what he did. If it didn’t show her the type of man he is, what I say won’t matter.

“OH MY GOD!” I heard Ny scream when she walked in the room. I’ve been in the hospital for two days and I finally picked up the phone and informed them where I was.

&n
bsp; “It’s ok Ny. She hugged me and I saw Tashi wiping her eyes.

“No it’s not. Did Kerron do this?” Tashi asked and walked on the opposite side of me.

“I don’t wanna discuss him. Tashi do you mind if I stay with you until I can find my own place?” I said quietly because my face was hurting and I didn’t wanna talk loud.

“You don’t even have to ask.”

“Hello everyone.” Mr. Peters walked in with someone else.

  “Who are you?” Nyana questioned.

  “My lawyer.”

  “Lawyer? For what?”

“Let’s just say, Mr. Oxford is going down.” He said and instructed the guy to take photos of me.

My stomach had bandages on it and so did my head. My eye was swollen shut, my nose was broken and when he slammed my hand in the door, he broke bones in it.

“How can he get away with this?” Tashi asked.

“Well, his father is a judge in the previous area he worked in and very respected which is why each time she made a complaint, no one listened. Then, they transferred Ms. Simpson here; in the same department knowing their history. Mr. Oxford was never stripped of his service weapon, suspended or required to see a psychiatrist. Last but not least, Ms. Simpson’s civil rights were violated, and they allowed the abuse to continue.”

  “What next?” Tashi asked.

“The only way to get away from him is to stop working for the moment.” I started to get upset. I loved my job but in order to remain safe I had to give it up.

“I can’t do that. How will I live?”

“Sade don’t insult me.” Tashi said and held my hand.

“You’re going to request a leave of absence and try your best to stay away. I’m not insisting you hide but if you don’t have to cross paths; don’t. As far as money, you have some saved and by the time I’m finished with the department here and in the previous place, you’ll never have to work again.” He smiled, had the guy finish taking photos, requested my signature to release medical papers and left.

“Why didn’t you tell us?” Ny asked.
