When we pulled into the parking lot I got off the bike and realized there were so many bikes in the lot. What the fuck did I get myself into. Okay, deep breaths I would be fine. Just one foot in front of the other.

“Baby. You wanna take the helmet off before we go in?” Garrison chuckled. He seemed to be doing that a lot today. I huffed and took my helmet off, throwing it at him. This only made him laugh harder as he caught it.

“You think this is funny? I have to face a bunch of scary looking fuckers and they may even possibly hate me. I fucked up I know but still, it is fucking nerve-wracking and would you stop fucking laughing at me you arrogant prick!” I growled out at him as he continued laughing. Still bent in half holding onto his knees laughing at me. He was wiping his tears from laughing when I huffed out, “Oh fuck it.” I didn’t expect to see most of the club standing out there with their eyes wide and hands over their mouths as well. Well, holy fucking green monkeys I must have been louder than I thought.

“You got some set of lungs on you for such a little thing. Why don’t you come into my office and talk with me huh?” The guy that just seemed to go on forever said. He had to be at least six and a half feet tall. His arms and legs were like tree trunks. Yikes, I wouldn’t want to be on the bad end of this guy.

Looking at his cut his patch said ‘President’ and under that, it said ‘Snake’. He had graying hair that was pulled into a man bun and a graying beard to match. He also had an eyebrow piercing and, even though he was older, it made him look hot and old men were not my thing. His tattoos covered his arms and hands. The biggest one that was sticking out of his sleeve that I could see was a huge snake that slithered all around his arm down to his wrist.

Shit, I was in big trouble. I thought I was more scared of him than my father and that was saying something. Okay, I was going to straighten my spine and walk in there like nothing was wrong. Like I was my father's daughter. Shit no that wouldn’t work. I didn’t even want to be related to that man.

With a shudder, I walked right up to Snake and said, “Lead the way good sir” Shit that sounded fucking terrible. Apparently, this tipped everyone over the edge and now everyone was outright laughing. Well, at least I could make them all laugh. That was something I guessed. Hopefully, I wasn’t making a complete ass of myself.

Snake turned around and led the way into the clubhouse. I turned to look at Garrison and he just gave me a little nod of encouragement. Fucker. As I walked behind him, I felt a little better about this situation. There wasn’t anything worse than being homeless so if Snake didn’t want me to stay I would be ready to accept that. If my fate was worse than that well I would take it like a woman. Lord knows what happens to traitors in the world I came from, I was sure this one wouldn’t be too different. Snake led me to a room that was huge. His desk was an espresso color with papers everywhere. It was definitely a man’s office that was for sure.

“Let me start off by saying I don’t appreciate being lied to. I am not sure what went on in your life before it led you here but you will not ever lie to me or my men again. We don’t tolerate lying in this club. I understand you were just trying to protect us and Crow but you are a part of us now. Judging by the look on your face I can see this surprises you. I saw the look on Crow’s face. It was the same one that I saw on a few of my mens faces after they fell in love with their women.” He told me and I just stared at him like a fish out of water. There wasn’t one thing I could have said that would have voiced my disbelief. Apparently, I wore that all over my face seeing as what Snake said next made complete sense.

“Now I am gonna tell you something that I don’t tell most people. The first date I went on with my old lady I knew she was it for me. So seeing the look on Crows face when he came in here and showed me the note you left him and how bad he wanted to go after you I knew right then how important you were to him. If you weren’t, I would have told him no and to let your ass rot. Don’t make me regret this, Ms. Dobrev. And yes I know very well who your father is. You are a part of this club now. We protect our own. Go on and get out of here before I change my mind girl.”

He flicked his hand my way as if to shoo me out of the room. I got up and did the only thing that I could do to feel like it was some way of showing him some semblance of respect. I walked around his desk and gave him a kiss on his cheek and said, “Thanks, old man.” With that I walked out of the room only to run smack dab into what I could only assume was a club whore standing outside of the doorway as if she was listening in on our conversation. Well, that just wouldn’t do.

  Chapter Eight

  Crow

I couldn’t believe what I was hearing when Stana threw a fit after almost walking into the clubhouse with her helmet on. Having my brothers behind me only made it harder to keep my face straight. I knew she wasn’t really mad. She was just a jumbled mess of nerves and anxiety.

After Snake and Stana went into his office everyone went into the clubhouse heads shaking at the spectacle Stana made of herself. Not that she made herself look bad, it was quite the opposite actually. There was a certain respect that came with standing up for yourself. Stana did that in almost every one's eyes just now. As I put her helmet on the bike, Nicole, one of the club whores, came up to me. Everyone else already went inside. Damn it, I knew this was going to happen. I was just hoping it wouldn’t happen this soon.

“Hey, Sugar. You want me to relieve some of that stress I see weighing on you?” She cooed in my ear. As she dragged her blood-red nails down my chest she kept getting closer and her scent was an assault to my fucking senses. Fuck she needed to go away. She was a tall blonde with legs for days and tits that a stripper would be jealous of.

“Not today Nicole, or ever again. Back off and go spread your legs for one of the probates.” I snarled at her. It may have sounded rude but when one of us rode up with a bitch on the back that usually meant to leave us alone for good. Nicole had been trying to get in my pants the minute she came here. Something about her just rubbed me the wrong way.

When I went to walk away she grabbed my cut with her talons and whispered, “You will fucking regret this Crow.”

She huffed off and stomped her way through the clubhouse. I could hear her fucking heels clacking through the clubhouse. Going into the bar, Kelly, the only woman in this place that didn’t want anything out of us was behind the bar like usual and she got me my normal drink which consisted of whiskey on the rocks. Nicole's threat still lingered in my head but I brushed it off.

Downing my drink in one go, I heard a screeching coming from down the hallway. Everyone else heard it too since there was a crowd forming. Making my way down the hallway, I saw a flash of blonde hair going into a knee. A very familiar face was the one doing the smashing. Stana bent down to whisper something in Nicoles ear and she didn’t seem satisfied since she wrenched her arm behind her back and pushed her up against the wall. Snake was just standing there watching the whole thing happen. Just like the rest of us. Damn the show of her beating the shit out of another woman was turning me rock hard in my jeans.

“Baby what the fuck you doin’ beatin’ the shit out of a club whore?” I asked with a hint of laughter in my voice. This woman really knew how to throw me off my game that was for sure. She had my normally surly personality turning to mush right before mine and everyone's eyes. She looked up at me then at the rest of the guys standing here.

“Oh me? I am just taking care of a little issue I found outside the door when I came out of the office after talking to daddy Snake over here.” She said with such innocence you would think she was just fighting a girl in college or something not in the middle of a motorcycle clubhouse. Christ on a cracker this one was going to be a firecracker. Snake made a choking noise from what I could only imagine was her calling him daddy.

“Alright baby, why don’t you tell us what made you wanna hurt Nicole, huh?” I talked to her as if she was a wounded animal. I didn’t know what the fuck she was gonna do next, but I needed to figure o
ut why she took it a step further and smashed her face into the wall.

“Oh, Nicole. Is that this shifty bitches name? Well sweet old Nicole here was listening in to our conversation when I came out. Isn’t that right darlin’? After I smashed her face into my knee she then continued to threaten me and say I would regret touching you. Isn’t there rules against eavesdropping in the club?” She asked as if she wasn’t holding a bitch by her hair.

“Let Snake take care of her. Why don’t you go get that blood washed off of you baby?” I asked. She shrugged her shoulders and pushed Nicole into Snake’s office right past Snake. After that, she went up to Snake and whispered something that made his eyes go big. She gave him a peck on the cheek and walked away passing everyone on her way to the bathroom down the hall.

“Your old lady has got some balls, Crow. I like her. She apparently already knows the shit we don’t tolerate here. Now we gotta deal with Nicole. What do you wanna do with her?” Snake asked.

“She can fuck off. Nobody needs her here. Club whores are easy to come by.” I told him. I could hear her begging him not to throw her out. Too fucking bad she should have thought about that before she went and tried sneaking around in Snake’s clubhouse. I found Stana at the bar with Kelly tossing back a shot. When she was done, she slammed the glass down on the table and asked for another.

“You sure did pick a firecracker brother. You plan on making her your old lady?” Grinder asked me as I sat here watching Stana. Her brown hair fell out of her messy bun she had it in and it was flowing down her back in tousled waves. She was wearing her leather jacket that didn’t have my name on it. That would have to be rectified. “She will have a property leather as soon as I can get it done. So yeah brother, I am making her my old lady.” He just turned and grinned at me.

“Good for you brother. She is a bit young but the way she just handled Nicole was pretty telling about what she came from. She will do just fine here brother.” Stana turned as I was walking towards her. She looked at me with the biggest smile on her face. You would have never guessed she just beat the shit out of Nicole. We sat together and talked with a few people here and there. Everyone came and went for a few hours. Finally I was about to suggest we head home when Grinder came through the door and headed straight for us.

“Yo! You got someone at the gate asking for you. Some girl named Malia Williams. Her and her guys are here. Said they need to talk to you. You want me to tell’em they got the wrong place?” He asked. Who the fuck was Malia? Guess I would give the girl a chance.

“Nah I will come out and give her a chance. Stana, stay here will you?” I asked her but it came out as me telling her. She looked at me and laughed.

“You are joking right? Not a chance mister. Let’s go see who this is.” She got up and started walking out the door. Who the fuck was this woman and where did her new found balls come from?

“Baby just do me a favor and let me talk.” She huffed and walked out of the door. When we got to the gate I waved my hand to let the probate know to open it. As the car pulled through I noticed it was a black BMW M4. I saw a flash of blonde hair in the driver seat and that was it. Who the fuck did I know that would be driving around in something like that. When the car parked all four doors opened and I didn’t know what I expected but it wasn’t the sight that I saw. There were three guys all together and one woman. As soon as I saw her face I knew how I was related to her.

“Would you shit heads knock it off he won’t hurt me once he knows who I am. Grayson growl at me like that one more time and your ass can walk back to the motel.” The woman that looked like a replica of Helen, yelled at one of them. Her little show had seemed to catch the eye of more than one of us. Snake, Grinder, Knuckles, and Tank were all out here.

“Who the hell said it would be a good idea to have three boyfriends? Oh right me. That is who. Jesus Christ. Let’s get this over with. Who is Garrison?” She demanded.

“Hold up little lady. You don’t get to just roll up in here and demand answers. You are on our turf. First off, why don’t y'all come in and we can talk.” Snake told her. She cocked her head and looked at him with a glint in her eyes. The guys she came with all muttered something like ‘oh fuck, here we fucking go, and god damnit’. Huh, they must be used to this attitude of hers.

“Listen here, Mr. Snake. I came here because my damn asshole of a mother slept with a damn loan shark, took everything he had that had any kind of value, and now they are after me and the three men I love. We have all been getting threats ranging from they want their money to death threats. I swear on all that is holy I will kill that woman when I find her. Now I found out she has a brother named Garrison that she never told anyone about. I just need help. My half-sister Skylar is with her dad at the moment and we are here for your help. I have run out of things to do and the police won’t help. Garrison is literally our last hope. Please.” She ended in a whisper. I could see the tears threatening to fall.

It was all falling into place. She apparently was Helen's daughter. And if I heard correctly she had a half-sister. Helen and I hadn’t spoken since she left our moms house. What the fuck did she do to make these people threaten her daughters? Wait a minute if they know about me maybe this was who I got kidnapped and beat up by. I guess there wasn’t much left to do besides let her in. I supposed it would be nice to know some actual blood family besides the piece of shit dad that fucked off when I was fifteen.

  Chapter Nine

  Malia

I didn't know why I even bothered coming here. My stupid fucking mother. Sometimes I wished I could see what goes on inside that brain of hers but at the same time, that was a terrifying thought itself. I got the chills just thinking about it. If it weren’t for her we would still be in school and living our happy lives like we were. Now here we were in the bumfuck middle of nowhere with men that looked like they could literally kill us with no regrets after they were done. Also, one of them apparently was my uncle. I had no clue about him either. Again, we were back to the point of my stupid fucking mother.

I was lost in my own thoughts when someone said, “Alright no need to get pissy. I am Garrison. Let’s take this inside and we can talk.” He threw a look at Snake who just nodded his head. I didn’t even notice this guy when we drove up. He looked a little worse for wear, huh, guess the goddamn loan sharks found out about him too. I looked back at my guys and told them to hurry up. I was so damn mad at the moment that I kind of felt bad they had to deal with my attitude. Poor guys. I would have to make it up to them later. Yeah, that would totally give me a change in attitude if I thought about it long enough. Unfortunately, we were surrounded by a bunch of giant men and my new uncle. Gross.

“So you were a biker girl underneath all that spunk and attitude this whole time huh? Be still my aching heart. I knew I loved you for a reason.” Asher said behind me only loud enough for us four to hear. Leave it to him to try and make me laugh. My sexy jokester of a man. Grayson looked grumpy like always but I was used to it. He only really smiled around us but right now I could see he was tense and ready for a fight. Ryder was the only really normal one of us all. He was serious about everything all the time and right now, he couldn’t even crack a smile for Asher’s joke. He was looking at me like he wanted to throttle me which I could understand. Everyone that knows me knew I got mouthy when I was pissed.

“Let’s just try and figure this out so we can get back home sooner rather than later, yeah?” Ryder grumbled. As I followed Garrison, I wouldn’t be able to call him uncle yet it was just too weird at the moment, I noticed there was a tiny woman under his arm that looked the same age as me if not a few years older. She had pretty brown wavy hair and looked way too skinny. Wonder what her story was and why she was here? She didn’t look like she belonged here. Wait. Nevermind. I was here for one thing. I needed to stay focused on my task so I could get back home.

When we got inside the clubhouse it was nothing like my imagination thought of. It was clean and spotless. There was
a woman behind the bar cleaning and stocking the alcohol. There was a pool table and a few couches around.

“Let’s sit over here and we can talk. Baby, why don’t you go sit at the bar and I will come get you when I figure out what this is about.” He told the woman that he walked in with. She did as she was told with no qualms about being ordered around. Jesus, what the fuck was that? Do the women just follow all the mens orders all the time?

“I see that look on your face. Don’t go getting all judgy when you have no idea how my life works. She knows that I will talk to her when I am done. We don’t have secrets here at the clubhouse. Now sit down and tell me what exactly is going on and who you are.” He demanded. He was scary as fuck when he had that look on his face. Ryder and I sat down on the couch while Asher and Grayson stood behind it.

“I am Malia. Helen is my mother. These guys are Ryder, Grayson, and Asher. We were at college and everything was fine, then one day we got home and found the place completely ransacked. I don’t know what happened or who it was. We called the cops and it was kind of like they swept it under the rug. We never heard anything back and every time we call to ask they always say they are working on it. It escalated to my car having the tires slashed and my windows smashed when I came out of school one day. There was a note stuck to my front door that said, ‘If we don’t get what we want your Uncle Garrison will be next.’ I had never even heard of you until then. Mommy dearest left when I was young. She was also a bitch to Skylar too.” I told him almost to the point of tears just remembering the fear I felt when we went home to the house and came out of school to find my car like that. Ryder grabbed my hand when he saw I was shaking.
