My Alien (The Alien Chronicles Book 1)

There were a few questions in my mind, but right now all I could think of was one thing— maybe Rion hadn’t gone back to the mothercloud after all. Maybe he’d decided to become human, but for some reason hadn’t told me yet.
I took the receipt and put it in my jeans pocket. It would go next to the pressed yellow flower he had given me on our first date. Maybe—that was a wonderful word—I would see him again.
I felt a small hope starting to grow, and with it came a determination to discover what had really happened to Rion. Determination or stubbornness, take your pick. Either way, I wasn’t ready to let go. Maybe the connection between us hadn’t gone completely, because I felt something strongly.
One day I was going to see my alien again.

About the Author
Robin Martin has been a writer and a teacher for many years. Originally from Canada, she has lived and worked in several countries but now lives just outside Brisbane. Writing has always been her passion, and in recent years she has written several novels and short stories for adults and young adults. When she is not plotting stories, she loves reading everything from cereal boxes to long books that she can get lost in. Though she still loves travelling, these days she is content to write about adventures rather than live them, although her current series has tempted her to consider hot air ballooning in the hope that she might contact aliens.
