  Chapter 14

  One Week Later

Flying to Hawaii had been slightly more nerve racking for Rose. For one thing, they did come in over the ocean when they landed, for another, the island paradise caused her senses to remember the island they'd been stranded on as soon as the sights and smells reached them. But all of that only lasted as long as it took for her to see Beau. As soon as she did, a feeling of calm and peace penetrated her soul.

“Rose!” he picked her up in a hug and swung her off her feet. “How was your visit with Dex?”

“It was so good,” she said. “Oh Beau! I'm so happy to see you!” She hugged him again. Over the past six months, Rose had come to love all four of the men, equally. But Beau always held a special place in her heart. His spirit was just so gentle and sweet. He picked up her carry-on bag in one hand and took her other in his and said,

“I can't even describe how happy I am to see you,” he said. “Are you still game to meet my mom?”

Rose smiled. She hadn't met any parents yet, but Beau was super excited to introduce her to his mom, so she hadn't had the heart to object. Besides, if they were all going to be a family someday...and that was the plan, then she had to meet her in-laws. “Looking forward to it,” she told him.

They went out to a blue Jeep with no top on it. Rose had never thought to ask Beau what he drove, but the Jeep was so him, it made so much sense. He put the bag in the back and helped her into the passenger side. As soon as he climbed into the other side, Rose put one hand up on the roll bar and leaned over to give him a kiss. Beau kissed her back, putting his hand behind her head and running his fingers softly through her hair as the kiss deepened. It wasn't a wild, hot kiss...but it was so sweet and sexy that it took her breath away.

“Mm, amazing,” he said when they mutually broke the kiss. “I've thought about that for a long time.”

  She smiled. “Me too.”

“I've thought about a lot of other things too” he said with a grin. Rose laughed.

“Met too. But Mom first.” Beau's enthusiasm slipped slightly and he said, “Yeah, Mom first.”

  “We have a week love.”

“I know, and you know I'm usually a patient man...but having you here in the flesh makes it hard. You're so pretty Rose. I missed your gorgeous, violet eyes. The phone doesn't do them justice. And those lips, Mm...I'm craving another kiss already. You smell so good...just like the Rose on the island. How did you do that? How did you smell so good on a deserted island?”

She laughed and said, “I think it was just because I was the only woman there to smell.”

“Nah,” he said, running his fingers through her hair once more. “It was you. Our Rose.” At last he tore his eyes and hands from her and started the car. Rose had butterflies in her belly about meeting his mom, but she was also enthralled by the scenery at the same time. The island was a true paradise and as beautiful as the one they'd been stranded on was, Hawaii rivaled it. She could see the peaks of volcanoes in the distance against the dark blue sky that was streaked with white, puffy clouds in places. The tropical trees and plants dotted the landscape and Rose was so caught up in it that she almost missed the little cabin at the end of the road when they came upon it.

It was a cottage more than a cabin. Light blue with a peaked room and surrounded by lush plants and large, colorful, tropical flowers. Beau turned off the car and before they could step out of it a beautiful, dark-skinned woman was standing on the front porch. Her face was as bright as the sunshine when she saw her son although Beau told Rose that he saw her almost every day. When Beau came over and helped Rose step out of the Jeep, his mother appeared behind him. She almost pushed her tall son out of her way so that she could hug Rose. Rose could feel the small woman shaking when she was wrapped up in her arms and it dawned on her that Beau's mother was as nervous as she was. When she let Rose out of the hug, she stepped back, still with her hands on Rose's arms and looked up into Rose's face. “You're just as beautiful as my Beau said you were, Rose. I'm so happy to meet you.”

“I'm happy to be here and meet you, Mrs...”

“No, no! Beau loves you. You call me Mom.”

Rose felt strange about that, but she wasn't about to insult the woman who had raised such an extraordinary son. The evening was much nicer than Rose had imagined it would be. Beau's mom had made lunch...tons of food. There were pineapple and chicken skewers, rice, several types of vegetables, a home-made islander soup that Rose had no idea what the ingredients were...but she loved it. By the time they finished eating, Rose was stuffed.

After lunch, Beau's mom sent her son into the kitchen to wash dishes while she took Rose into the living room and pulled out about a dozen photo albums. She had hard-copy photos of her son from the minute he was born until now and Rose delighted in getting to see him in stages of his life that she hadn't known him. When Beau finished cleaning up, he brought in the cake his mother had made for dessert. Rose was so stuffed still that she thought about passing, but it smelled delicious. It was a white cake with coconut frosting and Rose surprised herself by eating a huge piece. She thought about Trevor for the first time in a while and as she cleaned her fork with her lips she whispered in her head, “I probably just gained two pounds...take that Trevor, I'm happy”

They spent another hour with his mother and fifteen minute saying good-bye although Beau promised her that he would bring Rose back before she left the island at the end of the week. Once they were on the road he said, “So what did you think?”

  “I love her.”

  “Really?”

“Really! How could I not. She's incredible, and she made you. Oh! I'm sorry, Asher came last week, right? How did that go?” Asher was starting a branch of his company in Hawaii and Rose suspected that was in part so that he could see his brother more often. She thought that was sweet and it sounded even better when Beau said,

“It went really well. He and Mom got along, great. She loves him, and she treated him like he was her own son. I think that was good for him.”

“I'll bet,” Rose said. The drive to Beau's little bungalow wasn't far. As soon as they got there and Beau closed the door behind them, Rose pressed her body into his, wrapped her arms up around his neck and rose up on her toes for a kiss.

Beau let his soft, sexy lips run back and forth across hers and then he was the one that opened his lips and let her slide her tongue into his mouth. He tasted sweet, like his mother's dessert and Rose licked and tasted every corner, pulling her tongue back out to lick across his full lips. The kiss got harder and more passionate and their tongues wrestled as Rose let her body bump and grind into his.

“Oh Rose, you're amazing,” Beau said when she broke the kiss.

“Huh uh,” she said, “You are amazing, too. That kiss was...so nice.” Beau smiled and leaned down to press his lips against the side of her neck. She tipped her head to the side and let him kiss her there, hard enough to leave a mark, but she didn't care. She was his, and he was hers and everything he was doing felt incredibly good. When he lifted his lips up off her neck, she pressed hers into his. She sucked and licked at his neck, nibbling and biting. She could feel his body shiver and he was breathing heavily as he brought his hands up to find her breasts. When he did, he groaned and said,

“Rose, can we go to the bedroom? You're driving me crazy.”

She smiled up at him wickedly and said, “I was just waiting for you to lead the way.”

  One Month Later

Ryder groaned and Rose grinned at him and reached down to the front of his slacks and gave his erection a light squeeze. They were on their way up to his penthouse, but she hadn't been able to wait until they were on the thirtieth floor to touch him. She needed him, right then, and there and if the elevator ride had been longer, she might have just taken him.

Ryder had attended a movie premier with her in New York. It wasn't her big movie, they were still finishing that one up in LA, but she'd had a small part in this one, and it was fun to
see herself on the big screen. It made it even better that Ryder kept telling her how sexy she looked both on the big screen and in person in her slinky blue dress that she'd bought special for the occasion.

Once they made it back to his building, the clothes had started coming off in the elevator, or his did at least. Rose attacked him and had him laughing at first and moaning by the time the doors slid open in front of his door. He walked her off backwards, not making her disengage her lips from his chest. As he unlocked the door, Rose let her tongue trace every line of the six-pack abs and she ran it across the top of the waistband of his pants, making him gasp when she softly ran over the tip of his cock as it tried to peek out of his shorts.

Once the door was opened, he pulled her up to her feet and kissed her on the way inside. He kicked back at the door and when he heard it slam, he kept his lips on hers and didn't stop kissing hear as they walked down a hallway. Rose had been there before and when they reached his bedroom she opened the door and they practically tumbled inside. Ryder was pulling at her clothes now, sliding that dress he'd told her was so sexy up and over her head. He tossed it to the side and then unhooked her strapless bra. His eyes grew wide when her breasts fell out, although he'd only just seen them the night before, and the night before that. Ryder had the ability to make her feel like his green eyes were seeing her every time for the first time. It made her feel sexy every time they were together and she loved it.

Still in her stilettos, she dropped to her knees on the plush carpet and finished pulling open his pants. She already unbuttoned and unzipped them in the elevator, but now, she pushed them down until his cock popped out. She immediately took it into her mouth, but even as she began to swirl her tongue around it, Ryder stopped her and said,

“Huh uh baby, it's your turn tonight.” he didn't give her a chance to object. He picked her up and lay her back on the bed and dove between her legs. He buried his face in her soaking wet pussy and she let her knees fall open and let out a loud moan as Ryder's tongue ran up and down between her slit, touching on her clit from time to time and making her body convulse. He moved his face back and forth, tickling her with his nose and lips. He buried his tongue up inside of her and then pulled it out, and put it back in. Rose had her hands wrapped up tightly in his hair and her had up on the pillow so that she could watch him. He was so beautiful, and so sexy and Rose loved him. She loved them all. It wasn't just about the sex, or the fun...it was a connection that started that fateful day that their plane went down on that strange little island and it was a connection unlike anything that any of them had ever felt before., and Rose had the best of all their worlds.

Ryder was super sexy, smart, savvy and always up for a formal party or something like one of her movie openings. He was always a perfect gentlemen and ready with a compliment almost every time she looked his way. He could carry on an intelligent conversation about almost any subject and she was so proud to be seen with him every time they went out together.

Asher was a different breed. He was a caterer, and a designer so his creative juices were always flowing. Sometimes Zeus seemed to come out in him and his mood grew dark and irritable, but one look, one touch or one kiss from Rose seemed to clear up any of his cloudy skies in an instant. He and Beau were growing closer and Asher finally had what he always craved...a place where he belonged, and Rose was going to make sure that he always felt the love and respect that would keep him feeling that warmth in his soul forever.

Dexter and Beau were the free spirits. They were the ones that took her hiking and to sporting events. They rode motorcycles and watched the races. Dexter taught her how to play chess and Beau was teaching her how to surf. Rose could have never guessed that someday her life would be so full of excitement, happiness, adventure...and most of all love. She'd lived through hell with Trevor and she'd come out stronger because of it. She was right where she belonged now, with the “men” she belonged with and some days she smiled so much that her face hurt. If anyone had ever told her that she'd be seeing four men at the same time...and sleeping with every last one of them, she would have told them they were crazy. But not only was she doing it, she was talking about it. She gave interviews about her lifestyle and her gorgeous, wonderful men. She got fan mail from women who thanked her for blazing a trail for them, and of course she got the kind of mail that Ryder warned her about. They called her names and tried to bring her down. But Rose got up; every morning and straightened her crown. She was the daughter of a Goddess and no one would ever bring her down.
