Universal consciousness today leads us to a new model of life where the basic values of human existence – values such as truth, love, and solidarity, home, faithfulness, and belief – can be taken up on a new, reflected, and autonomous level. There is an inherent sacredness of life and a corresponding mental, spiritual, and ethical order which we must not ignore, even if it has been terribly misused by church and state, and extremely so under fascism. We need communities in which we consciously and purposefully coexist with the sacred powers of the universe and love. Healing means reconnecting with the original energy field of life. This applies to the individual organism, the organism of a community, and the organism of all humanity.
Can the World Still be Saved?
Many attempts to heal this world have been made to no avail but to the contrary. Maybe we have never had so much pain around the world. Maybe there has never been so much death, so much grief, and at the same time such a great lack of empathy. The ubiquity and intensity of the pain in the world exceeds our capacity for empathy.
Can the world still be saved? Can this Earth still be healed? Is there a realistic chance for a future without war? Today such questions are usually received with wry smiles rather than taken seriously. Current debates on change and reform for a better world start mostly with the premise that certain fundamental structures within politics and economics have the character of natural constants and therefore cannot be modified. Terms such as “market,” “yield,” “bank,” or “military budget” have become part of the holy mantra of the system and cannot be questioned. From their outset, attempts at reform operate within narrow confines and little space for structural change remains.
Can the world still be saved? The acclaimed author Naomi Klein answers, “Absolutely. Is it possible without challenging the fundamental logic of deregulated capitalism? Not a chance.”3 So it is. To understand how and why, under the aforementioned circumstance, salvation is nonetheless possible, we have to step out of the old categories of political thinking and enter into realms of thought shaped by different information and other parameters. While in its current state of damage the world seems to have as little or as much chance of healing as a person who, according to doctors, suffers an “incurable disease.” Yet we have innumerable case studies of so-called miracle healings. Beyond the parameters of conventional medicine, there obviously also exist very different laws and powers of salvation. In addition to his physical body, the human being possesses another body, which for simplicity I will just refer to as the spirit body (see Glossary). It works according to different laws than the material body. If we succeed in introducing the right information into the spirit body, our entire organism would change instantly. If I for example tell a shy person how courageous he is, different hormones are immediately released. We receive information through the spirit body and corresponding guiding impulses are conveyed instantaneously into the physical body. Could the same that applies to the individual organism not also pertain to the global organism? The overall organism of humanity would thus possess a spirit body (the noosphere – see Glossary) functioning according to principles other than those in the material body. If new information is entered into the noosphere the whole world changes. This is the basic hypothesis of Tamera’s Political Theory. The world could of course still be saved if we enter the corresponding information into its system.
The Universal Human Being
When the relations between humankind and the world are no longer blocked by fear and mistrust, new channels of perception, new contact to nature, and new feelings for all living beings come to fruition. With the newly gained trust the human being recognizes his inner connection to the environment and to all that has body and soul. A new worldview concretely emerges in which the human being has a new position within the whole of creation. The human being experiences himself as a responsible member of the great family of life. By virtue of his cognition he becomes the thinking organ of life, or as Julian Huxley put it, the “eye of evolution.”4 This is how he can recognize and direct development.
Once the inner blockages are removed, we see that the currents of life that flow through love also flow through water in clouds and in the growth of plants. There is an essential universal energy which is steered not only by physical processes but also through our thoughts and actions. We have the task to guide this universal energy correctly – for the benefit of all beings. This energy has been wrongly directed throughout many thousands of years of war, which is how an energetic entity of violence and fear formed on Earth. The morphogenetic field of fear has steered human life generation after generation, until it was seen as normal and correct because one was no longer consciously aware of it anymore. It operated out of the unconscious and has generated the suffering we see on Earth today.
We need to look into our soul and perceive the reflex responses before they are suppressed by our rational consciousness. Our subconscious reflexes and reactions are set to defense and fear of enemies. The world of our movies loves images of destruction and downfall. In science fiction when extraterrestrials visit Earth, they are automatically ascribed hostile intentions, for the collective imagination of our time is hardly able to conceive of something different. The realm of fantasy, from the epic of Gilgamesh to the Brothers Grimm and to Hollywood, is a realm of danger and catastrophe. The person who has dropped out of the universal order is on his own and must try to resolve the difficulties of his life by the strength of his ego, as the universal self is no longer accessible.
When the human community is once again embedded in the great order of nature and creation, the universal human being arises as a new morphogenetic field; he is fundamentally different from the individualized ego-person. The universal human being lives in universal connectedness. He has irrevocably stepped out of the historic isolation, which he called “individualism.” Also the civil servant behind the desk or the police officer controlling traffic (if these jobs still exist) will have become participants of the new human community. The universal human being has recognized its entelechial image which units us with one another and all fellow beings. It is the great image of oneness. Through the reintegration into the universal community of life, energy currents in the organism begin to operate which can heal even supposedly incurable diseases.
On this point I find the words of Master Eckhart, the great Medieval German mystic and theologian, moving. He writes…
All distance and alienation of the beings among one another and toward God is against God. For God lures and draws everything toward unity and commonality. And basically all beings, even the lowliest creatures strive toward togetherness, toward unity that lies in the ultimate oneness with the One.5
Toward the One
All beings are interconnected in one existence and one consciousness. All beings carry the same elementary information of life in the nuclei of their cells; all carry the same basic mathematical structure in their genetic code. All beings strive for contact and unity, toward the one. In this unity a religious component is at work. “God,” said the human being when he or she experienced oneness. “Only God exists,” declared Jacques Lusseyran when he experienced oneness at Buchenwald concentration camp, and in this he also included the guards.6 He was able to make it as one of only thirty survivors from a group of two thousand French resistance fighters deported to the camp. “Everything is Vasudeva,” said Sri Aurobindo when he sat in prison awaiting a death sentence.7 He was released. Those were not empty words, but genuine experiences of a higher level of existence, divine unio mystica (see Glossary). These reports also illustrate how the consciousness of oneness proffers immense protection.
People, groups, or projects that perceive themselves as part of a greater whole are under cosmic protection insofar as this greater entity is coherent with the Sacred Matrix. Should such an experience of unity happen collectively, in for example the Middle East, we would instantly have a completely new basis for the harmonious coexistence of its peoples. The conflict between Isra
el and Palestine would no longer be the subject of unending war, but of a common path toward the one. The (former) soldiers and guards would be profoundly changed within the fields of new peace thoughts. Fanatics full of hatred would transform into committed and approachable peace workers. This is more than just a wishful dream; it is a real possibility of our evolution – and it is probably the only viable one we have left. But first we need to straighten out our love relationships. I intentionally state this casually, almost jokingly, but its validity has become clear through many years of research. We certainly need to change a lot of things – to create ecological, spiritual, technological, and political innovations; yet above all we need a new cultural paradigm for human coexistence, especially for the love between the genders: a global correction of our notions of love, sex, and family. So far everything has failed due to flawed notions of love. So long as the structures of nuclear family, jealousy, hatred, and revenge endure in love, there will be violence and war in the world. So long as it is normal that love partners have to hide their sexual desire for others, there can be no peace in the world. These are correlations we need to understand if we want to develop practicable concepts for healing humankind and the Earth, and for establishing functioning communities. Truth in sexuality, healing in love, ending the war between the genders – there is no getting around it.
The individual belongs to community, the community is a unit within humanity, and humanity has its place in the living universe. Every person is a citizen of the universe. He is therefore subject not only to societal laws, but also to the spiritual and ethical laws of the cosmic world. These are the laws of oneness, resonance, power, and love. The universal human being is an individual that has, in his innermost core, reconnected with the universal body of life, the laws of universal life, the original field of love, and the fundamental ethics of compassion. He has decisively stepped out of the great trauma which had wedged him into the cage of psychological abandonment. This is perhaps the furthest our imagination can reach – leaving forever the desolate image of isolation and stepping into a new field of unity, power, and solidarity with all beings. Tat tvam asi (Thou art That – see Glossary).
A New Genetic Code for Life on Earth
Humanity needs a new informational matrix, the activation of a new genetic program for life on Earth. It is the research assignment of our time to establish such a matrix and to arrange our behavior patterns, our love relationships, our gardens, our housing, our supply systems, and our communication systems in accordance with it. Concrete utopia will be manifested through our daily work. For example, in creating a garden one would cooperate with the soil dwellers and the oft-called pests, instead of exterminating them. I would like to refer the reader to Eike Braunroth’s work on establishing “Peace Gardens.”8
Within this new matrix, all efforts will revolve around reconnecting the human world with the divine world; this is not based on conventional religious thinking, but on the most advanced contemporary knowledge and ability. I repeat again the simple thought that humankind, which is capable of developing digital weapons, will also be able to develop a new concept of life if it focuses its abilities in that direction. The worldwide enterprises of Google, Apple, Facebook, et cetera came out of the garages of Silicon Valley. Similarly, the new human world will emerge from the first communities that committedly work in this new direction. They are working not only for themselves but also according to a plan which has become ripe within the implicate order (see Glossary) of the universe. By activating this plan, they move the spirit body of the Earth, the noosphere, into the direction of its manifestation. The world is in an excited state (see Glossary) for the birth of a new era. Evolution guides the dispersed particles back to their point of convergence. Here is the new “I,” the seedling of the planetary self within the consciousness of humanity as it awakes. From here life merges in a new union. The revolution of our time consists of a system change from the paradigm of separation to the paradigm of reunification within the universal family of life.
Survival Fields: Reestablishing Original Trust
We are witnessing the destruction of the world. Through the devastation of nature and the disastrous management of water, the processes of centralization and globalization, humanity has undermined the foundations for secure material existence. The material misery is so striking all over the globe that its inner aspect finds too little consideration – the aspect of psychological despair. Western societies are endangered mainly because they have lost social and psychological basis for a stable existence. Part of this basis is self-acceptance, trust, compassion, and protection. Survival will be achieved if every individual is embedded in a broader community. Happiness derives from the embedment in something greater. Partnership and family are also meant to be embedded within the higher order of a functioning community. As soon as the individual loses this embedment despair ensues. A large part of humanity currently lives in this state of despair. The fearless state of original trust was succeeded by a general disposition of caution and security. Every child comes to this world with unreserved trust, but often by the age of ten he already behaves like a small, mistrusting adult. If we have the opportunity to observe children in protected environments we immediately see what real trust looks like. It is enchanting to observe the kind of love, care, and fairness with which they approach each other. An aspect of concrete utopia becomes directly visible and so too when we see their curiosity and their high spirits, as when they somersault into water. The joy of creation – Ananda (see Glossary) – is undeniably a component of our genetic equipment, for it is part of the divine world. Likewise sex, love, partnership, and community are components of the Sacred Matrix when they are not distorted and destroyed through fear. In order to survive, the basis of original trust must be reestablished. By this I mean trust among human beings, trust between human and animal, and the original trust of the human being within the higher realms. A goal of Healing Biotopes is the reestablishment of this original trust. A key question to political and alternative groups is: do you trust one another? Trust is not only classified as psychological; it is above all a political term – the most revolutionary of all – for we need to renew the entire societal structure to bring about sustainable, systemic trust. As soon as the individual can once again enter an atmosphere of trust, he can open up for love. Through this opening the energy of the divine field of original power is rediscovered, and thereby the era of the free human being begins.
Humankind has been working on material science for centuries, but we do not yet have a science of love. We have started from the premise that our world is determined by physical laws, however we could also start from the premise that it is determined by laws of the soul which have something to do with love. Love is the gateway between humankind and God, the interface between personal and transpersonal worlds. From this connection an undercurrent of joy and certainty steers our behavior. If this process unfolds in the communities of the future, a collective survival field can emerge which will eventually be stronger than the deathly fields of today’s global capitalism. At a certain level of maturity and intensity, these survival fields will come into high resonance with each other and with the frequencies of the Sacred Matrix. A carrier wave (see Glossary) will arise and spread the new informational matrix in the planetary field of life. If a prayer is spoken somewhere in this sacred network, it will become effective everywhere. The entire biosphere starts rejoicing once this resonance is reached.
Every true Healing Biotope generates a survival field. The emergent planetary community will develop from a network of such survival fields. The survival fields grow out of an enduring combination of mental and spiritual practice, technical research, and work on restoring nature and love; working with animals is included as well. The same universal energy is effective in all areas and in all those realms we can direct the currents of life toward healing. The project leaders from the individual areas are in continual communication with one another in order to align
the different departments into a unified and coherent information system.
Overcoming Fascism
We are living in times of change. We are facing a planetary renewal that we did not see when we were fighting the system with anti-fascist slogans in the students’ movement of the last century. Latent fascism is present everywhere; it is the cancer of humanity. It is not effective to fight fascism with ideology; this cannot change much. Once one has understood what actually happened in German fascism under Hitler, what gruesome things were done, or at least accepted, by millions of citizens, then all anti-fascist slogans and all democratic assurances fall silent, for one understands that another issue is at hand here.
Fascism is an inherent component of our current society. It develops in the subconscious of our human relationships. In the emotional substrata of a misguided civilization lie the horrible powers that led to Nazi Germany and which currently lead to very similar atrocities in many countries on Earth.
In order to overcome fascism we need a new model for our civilization that enables a fundamental renewal in the core human realms of sex, love, partnership, and community, for it is here above all that we find the psychological origins for the emergence of fascist violence. Alice Miller studied the biographies of known dictators and criminals and always arrived at the same conclusion: when thoughts and feelings are suppressed already in childhood, the seeds for hatred and violence are sown.9
Wherever the juridical and moral systems are no longer sufficient in controlling violence, the cruelty currently raging across the entire globe becomes visible. I hesitate to look into this again but the tragedy of our time demands it. On television I saw an American mother whose son, a soldier in Iraq, had been killed. She was told that he was killed by militia defending the old regime. What she did not know was that they had bound him to a car and dragged him to death (the Americans did similar things there). It is no longer only the violence of murder, but the infernal gruesomeness with which the assassination is carried out. Who are the killers, and why are they doing this? If we shed light on the biographies of the assassins we find hardly any childhoods characterized by joy and trust.
