“Someone call the police!” A voice shouted out to no one in particular.

Constance clenched her jaw and looked out onto the street and then back into the restaurant. She was already at the scene, and a crime had just been committed. Should she turn around and see what the cause was, or head back onto the street and in the direction of her hotel?

She smirked to herself as the sound of police sirens began to wail in the distance, getting closer and closer. Without another thought, she closed the door and headed back into the restaurant, toward the kitchen where she had heard the commotion.

After all, Constance had always had a penchant for solving crimes.
