  Anna’s reply was instant.

Anna: Aww it sounds like you had a great day! I told Isaac and he’s really keen, Sophia and Nic are too! P.S. they’re together now. So cute!

What are you doing later tonight?

I bit my lip, typing out a reply.

Tash: I think I’m going to have an early one. Yawn. So tired after my big day!

A knock sounded on my door and I opened it to see Sterling standing there, his eyes raked over my body, his mouth opened slightly as he took a deep breath. “You look beautiful,” he breathed.

He was wearing dress pants and a blue button-down shirt that was left open, I smiled. “You look so sexy!” I told him with a smile. Sterling chuckled, shaking his head at me.

I followed him along to the restaurant, we got seated at a table outside where vines and lattice hid us behind my back. We were in a corner and the lagoon lapped lightly along, we ordered our food and drinks, then out of nowhere Sterling pulled out a tiny teddy bear, the bear had vampire fangs, and a shirt that said be mine written across his chest with a red heart, Sterling handed it to me, smiling shyly. “Natasha, will you be my girlfriend, officially?” he asked.

My mouth dropped and my eyes widened. “Aww! Of course!” I beamed. I leaned forward over the table and placed a kiss on his mouth. “You are too damn sweet!” He chuckled.

The waiter came back with our food and we ate in silence, my heart thundered beneath my chest so hard I thought it was going to take off and fly away. We drank our drinks, ordering more and more, drinking and laughing as we talked, then headed back to the bungalows slightly tipsy.

His eyes darted around quickly as he pulled me into his bungalow, shutting the door, pressing me against it as he kissed me. His body flush against mine so I could feel his arousal against my stomach. We kissed passionately, he stepped backwards, not breaking our kiss as he ushered me into his bedroom.

I pushed his shirt from off his chest, running my hands up and down his abs, he pulled the dress from my body, pulling my hair free, I shook it loose, and he looked down at me hungrily as he eyed me in my strapless bra and thong, he growled in desire, his eyes glazing over, his breath coming in pants as he looked me over.

He stepped forwards, pushing me backwards until my legs hit the back and I fell back onto the bed, him falling on top of me, he unhooked my bra and tossed it aside, trailing kisses from my mouth down my neck to my breast where he teased. We ground against each other as his hard on pressed into my centre, he pulled back, his hand slipped between my panties as his hand found me ready and waiting, his fingers slid up my centre, making me moan.

He pulled my thong off and tossed it over his shoulder as he trailed hot kisses down my body, past my stomach and down my inner thigh where it was sensitive, then his tongue found my centre, licking up as his tongue swirled, licked and devoured me. “Yes – Sterling – ahhh – yes!” I cried out. He groaned, his fingers pumped in and out, causing more moans of pleasure to escape my lips, I couldn’t hang on any longer and I fell to pieces at his mercy.

Sterling hovered above me, looking me in the eyes with a smile and leaned kissing me. I bit my lip, desperate to feel him inside me, I unbuttoned his pants, pulling them down, releasing his arousal from its confines, his boxers with it, he kicked them off, guiding him towards my centre, clenching down as he pushed inside me, I moaned at the same time as Sterling did.

He stayed like that for a moment, then started moving a slow, gentle pace as he pushed in and out of me, the electricity from our bodies touching making every thrust feel that more amazing. I met his thrusts with my own, and I revelled in the way he felt inside of me, the way his kisses felt on my lips, demanding and loving.

His thrusts slowly sped up, getting harder with each thrust. “Oh Sterling!” I moaned.

“Tasha!” he gasped against my lips, he thrust into me harder, eliciting a cry of pleasure from me as head felt dizzy from pleasure.

Our bodies moved in perfect sync, his thrusts slowed down, and he rolled his hips back and forth in a circular motion as he entered me. “Ahh!” I cried out in pleasure, he did it again. “Oh!” He kept thrusting into me, his hips would roll in a circle inside me. “Fuck!” I cried out, all sorts of moans escaped my mouth and I clamped down around him, he groaned, gripping the sheets beside my head as he forced himself to keep it together, his knuckles white beside me. “Sterling!” I cried out, pleasure coiled tightly around inside me and exploded outwards, my thighs shook around him, my hips bucking forwards as I came, he rode me through it.

“Tasha!” he moaned in my ear right as he swelled and spilled inside me.

“Ahh!” I cried out, his hips locked into mine and he pulled me into a kiss as we both panted against each other, our bodies still high from our orgasm, unable to move or think properly.

He rolled off me, pulling on sweatpants. “I’m going to get us some drinks,” he told me, leaning down to give me a quick kiss. “Stay here.”

“Can you please get my notebook from my bungalow?” I gave him a slight pout.

He kissed my bottom lip. “Yeah.” Then he walked out the door. I laid in bed smiling, the breeze tickling my hair, the smell of the ocean, and the sound of my heart pounding in my ears mixed in with the sounds of the water lapping. Rolling over, tiptoeing out of bed, I pulled on one of Sterling’s shirts, it hung around my thighs, and I jumped straight back into bed, right as Sterling walked in, his brows rose and a smirk, he passed me my notebook, and a cocktail.

Sitting up, I took a large sip as Sterling hopped into bed beside me. I unlocked my notebook, turning the camera on, putting it on selfie mode, and snapped a photo of us smiling at the camera. Another one where he kissed me on the cheek and one where we kissed sweetly. They were good photos. I sent them to him and hid them within a folder that was password protected so no one could see them except me.

My notebook kept pinging, opening the messages I read messages from Anna.

Anna: What? No way! Come meet us at the pool for drinks and dancing!

Anna: Are you coming? It’s a good party!

Anna: Do we have to come down there and drag you out here for some fun?

Anna: We’re coming. Oliver said he’s going to beat down your door and drag you out.

I groaned, showing my notebook to Sterling for him to read the messages, his eyebrows rose. “Did you want to go?” he asked.

“Not really,” I replied, then gave him my cheekiest smile. “I much prefer the party we are having in your room.”

He laughed, kissing me on the nose. “You should have fun with your friends,” he told me, on the cheek. “I don’t want to keep you from them, and they may get suspicious if you don’t spend some time with them.”

I groaned, knowing he was right. “Fine,” I replied. “But I’m coming back here straight after and falling to sleep in your arms.”

He smirked. “I thought that was expected.”

Tapping reply, I quickly hit send.

Tash: Don’t come! I’ll just get ready quickly and head over!

Turning back to Sterling, I pulled him into another kiss, not wanting to leave, but relishing the feel. “You should probably leave before I don’t let you go.”

Laughter and footsteps came from outside. “Come on!” Anna giggled to someone.

Banging sounded on my bungalow. “Open up!” Oliver called. They all sounded really drunk.

Jumping up out of the bed, I searched for my red bikini I had worn here yesterday, snatching it from the ground, pulling it on. Sterling jumped to his feet, looking around panicked. “You’re going to have to go out the back,” he told me, kissing me quickly.

I nodded. “I’ll come see you after!” Pulling him into a deeper kiss, my body moulding to his.

“Come on Natasha! Get out here before we come in there!” Oliver called again.

We pulled ourselves apart with great effort. “Go on,” he told me, turning me around and lightly pushing me towards the door, giving me a light smack on
the ass. I turned to smile at him before quickly running silently towards the ladder, descending into the warm waist high water. I silently walked to the ladder of my bungalow, pulling myself up onto the deck.

I quickly changed into a neon yellow bikini set, and pulled the door open, crossing my arms over my chest, giving them a look full of attitude. “Are you serious?” I told them, raising my brows. I pulled the door shut behind me. “Let’s go.”

“We haven’t seen you all day!” Sophia whined.

“That’s not true, I seen Anna and Isaac at breakfast,” I told them with a shrug, as we walked along the pier.

“That doesn’t count, it was like five minutes,” Anna told me.

“Something’s different about you,” Oliver assessed, looking me up and down. He gasped, looking at me wide-eyed. “You’ve been having sex.”

My mouth dropped open and I gasped. “No!” I said too quickly, heat raising to my face.

“Oh my gosh! You have!” Anna squealed, then frowned, looking between me and Oliver. “But if it’s not with Oliver, who is it?”

“That’s what I’d like to know,” Oliver told me, folding his arms over his chest and looking at me with a frown.

I laughed. “What makes you think I’ve been having sex?”

“You’re all glowy” Anna replied in a low voice.

“I’ve also been out in the sun all day,” I told her, panic swept through me and I prayed she would believe me and stop asking questions.

Oliver stepped forward, sniffing me. “She does smell like the ocean, so maybe she’s not?” he offered. He nuzzled his face into my neck, and I stiffened hoping he couldn’t smell Sterling all over me.

I really did want to tell Anna about Sterling and me, but I couldn’t risk it, guilt settled in the pit of my stomach. Nic had his arm around Sophia’s waist, Isaac and Anna held hands. Pursing my lips, I wondered if Sterling and I could ever walk along like that out in the open, in front of people.

The closer we got to the pool, the louder the music was, the sound of people cheering, splashing and laughing filled my ears and I watched as a party was in full force around the bar and pool. People danced together along the edge of the pool, near the bar, and in the pool. The further away from the bar the fewer there were, there were only a few people swimming near the waterfall and cave.

“Shots!” Oliver called out, tilting his head back as he howled into the night.

The werewolves at the party lifted their heads to the sky and let out loud howls in unison, following the Alpha, even if he wasn’t theirs. A few humans that were gathered around laughed, obviously thinking they were just a bunch of rowdy young men and women, not really knowing they were partying alongside werewolves, vampires and witches. All of which could kill them in under ten seconds if we really wanted to.

Oliver walked over to the bar, ordering a line-up of shots. “Come get your shot!” Oliver called out to us with a smile, he walked over to me, a shot in each hand, passing me one. He clinked our little shot glasses together and he tipped his back into his mouth, swallowing it in one go. I emptied my shot into my mouth, swallowing, it burned as it slid down my throat.

I smiled up at him. “Thanks.”

We got more drinks in our system, and I danced along the side of the pool with Anna and Sophia. Nic had his hands around Sophia’s waist as he danced behind her and Isaac had his hands around Anna’s waist, tracing small circles over her stomach as they both danced.

Warm hands made their way around my waist, reaching around and running up and down my stomach. “You should come back to my room tonight,” Oliver whispered in my ear, grinding his arousal into my back.

I tried to push his hands off me and pull away, but he grabbed me, pulling me closer to him. “Let me go Olly,” I warned. His muscular chest caging me in, I didn’t really know what had come over him, but he was getting handsy and the only person’s hands I wanted on me like that was Sterling’s.

“Come on Tasha, you know how I feel about you,” Oliver pleaded. “Just spend tonight with me and make up your mind tomorrow.”

Turning around in his arms, the smell of booze on his breath hit me hard, I stopped dancing, trying to push him off me. “Get off Oliver,” I told him, my voice hard and firm.

His grip on me tightened, becoming painful, a low growl in his chest, he pulled me closer to him, leaning down to my neck as he breathed in deeply. “Ow! You’re hurting me Oliver!” I cried out. Oliver pulled back slightly to look down at me, his eyes turning into slits as his werewolf fought to break free. The more I pushed against his chest, the tighter his grip got but he had hold of me in a way that meant I couldn’t get my arms free enough to give him a big push away from me. “Olly you’re hurting me!”

Tears pricked my vision as the pressure from his arms caused a rib to crack, I gasped in pain, his mouth found its way to my neck and he kissed it, I tried to push him away but it wasn’t working, it seemed to get him more riled up and his arms tightened even more, the sound of another one of my ribs cracking hit my ears as I felt it and I cried out in pain, feeling dizzy as I couldn’t breathe properly from his grip and the pain.

“Let go of her Oliver!” Isaac demanded from behind me. “You’re drunk!”

“She’s mine!” Oliver growled, his voice low and beastly as he held me possessively in his arms.

Adrenaline spiked in my veins and I found my voice again. “Let go!” I cried.

A blur shot up from beside me, ripping Oliver’s hands off me, and I darted into Anna’s arms as she held me, a choked sob escaped my mouth and I watched as Sterling punched Oliver in the face, snarling at him, looking murderous. “She told you to get off her!” Sterling pushed Oliver back into the pool, where a few people stepped aside quickly so he wouldn’t hit them.

“Are you okay?” Anna asked quietly.

My body shook. “I-I think so.”

Sterling turned around to look at me. “Are you alright?” he asked, his chest rose hard and fast, his voice softened but I could tell he was still furious. I nodded. All I wanted was to throw myself in his arms and cry on his shoulder.

Anna hugged me tightly. “I don’t know what got over him.”

Isaac was looking at Oliver furiously, his jaw set in a hard line as he scowled at his friend. “I’m going to take him back to his room and smack some sense into him,” he growled.

Anna looked at him, biting her lip. “Don’t get too close babe, he looks ready to wolf out at any moment,” she told him softly, eyeing Oliver who’s eyes turned golden with black slits.

“Thank you,” I told Isaac, unable to look at Oliver without feeling disgusted in his behaviour. I knew he had a lot to drink but I’d never thought he’d physically hurt me or try to pressure me into anything.

He hadn’t turned in a few days, and I started to wonder if the coming full moon was beginning to affect him a little too much, not that it excused bad behaviour, but I was pretty sure if I hadn’t had blood in two days that I’d probably be going a little stir crazy too.

Sterling walked off down the pool, towards the quieter end, it was much deeper down there, he dove into the pool with grace, even though he was so tall and muscular.

Isaac pulled Oliver out of the water and off to the path down the garden, shoving him, his voice loud as he yelled something to him that I couldn’t hear over the music.

“I can’t believe Oliver did that,” Anna murmured.

I bit my lip, bruises were already forming on my waist from Oliver’s hands. “I’m going to get a drink,” I told her, stumbling towards the bar, not feeling in a party mood anymore. I was fully aware of Anna and Sophia whispering to each other, worried expressions, as I walked away. “Can I get two glasses of whiskey and cokes please?”

“Sure thing,” the girl behind the bar said. She grabbed two glasses, filling them with ice then adding whiskey, and coke. She paused as bubbles fizzled to the top, then when they dissipated, she continued filling it up.

  She put the drink
s on the bar. “Here you go!” she spoke in a chirpy voice.

Grabbing the drinks, Anna and Sophia had their backs to me, talking in a low voice, so I took that as my queue to quietly leave, heading up along the side of the pool around the bend and the side of a building, towards Sterling, his back was turned to me as he watched the water trickle down into the pool from the waterfall.

I dropped down beside him, sitting on the ledge of the pool, he looked up at me with his eyebrows raised. I handed him the glass and he took it, taking a huge gulp, putting it on the edge of the pool.

I put my glass beside his and dropped into the cool water beside him. “Thanks,” I told him.

Sterling growled, the sound was low in his chest, his eyes narrowed. “I can’t believe that fucking wolf!” He turned to me, his expression softening, his fingers brushed lightly over my waist where Oliver bruised me, a dark look crossing his face.

“I don’t understand why he was like that,” I told Sterling, taking another sip of my drink.

The lights were dim over here and we were mostly concealed by the shadows if anyone looked over here from the bar. Not many people were down this end of the pool, they were all joining the party up ahead.

Sterling pulled me against his body with a featherlight, hugging me gently, as if he’d hurt me or I’d break, but I wasn’t fragile, we both knew it. I leaned my head against his chest, wrapping my arms around his waist. “Tasha?” Anna called, my body stiffened, Sterling pulled away, grabbing my hand, pulling me towards the waterfall.

I grabbed my drink, he grabbed his and we quickly went through the waterfall that fell in front of the cave. We sat down in the crevice hidden in the rocks on the small bench seat, watching as Anna looked around in confusion, searching for me.

Isaac walked up behind her. “She probably went back to her room,” he told her, grabbing her waist. “It didn’t look like she wanted to party after what happened.” He tugged her towards him, she snuggled into his chest and sniffed.
