I don’t know if it was sneaking outside, being in the barn, or the sounds of Bane and Katja, but Shonda rode me hard and fast.
Her moans and little whimpers filled the space and it was all I could do not to come right out the gate.
I did algebra in my head as she palmed her tits and squeezed her nipples.
When she bit her lip and let out a, “Fuck, yes, Gray,” I thought about cows giving birth.
But, when she leaned back and reached her hand down to cup my balls as she rode me, I lost every ounce of control.
My hands went to her hips and I held her in place as I reared up from beneath her and fucked her as fast as I could.
Even as she started coming, clenching around me and letting out the best fucking sounds I’d ever heard, I knew my ass was going to be black and blue, but I didn’t care. My ass slapped the ground rapidly and within seconds, I was coming with a cry of my own.
When I came back down to earth, Shonda was laying down on my chest, my cock softening inside of her, and her body was shaking softly with laughter.
“You okay?” I asked, trying to catch my breath.
She lifted her head and looked in my face, she was the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen.
“I think we won the who can be louder contest,” Shonda replied, and we both started laughing.
Shonda
“Give us a call when you get home,” I said as I hugged Katja, and then Sloane, goodbye.
“We will. You two be safe and have fun,” Katja replied, shooting me a wink as she moved to buckled Sloane in Bane’s Jeep.
“I’ll let you know if I hear anything,” Bane told Grayson.
“Thanks,” Gray replied, clapping his brother on the back. “Drive safe.”
“Always, bro,” Bane said, waved goodbye to me and climbed into the Jeep.
Gray put his arm around me and we stood in the driveway, watching as they drove away.
It was a simple moment, but a nice one, so I noted it and prayed for many more just like it. Me and the man I loved, because really, I’d always loved Grayson, holding each other outside on a pretty morning, the birds chirping all around us.
I looked up at his profile, smiling at how handsome he was, when something occurred to me.
“Gray?” I asked.
“Yeah?” he replied, still staring after his family.
“What do you do?”
“What do you mean?” he asked absently, turning his head toward me.
“Like, for work. I mean, I know this is a farm, but it seems to me this is more of a farm for your own personal use… you’re not growing and selling fruit and vegetables or selling off livestock. Do you have another job that I don’t know about?”
“I do,” Gray said with a slow smile. “Your right, this farm is just for me, and it’s not so large that it keeps me busy from dawn to dusk. I’d go nuts, being out here all alone with so much time on my hands. I had to find something to do to pass the time.”
“It has to be something you could do from home, obviously, so what is it? An accountant? Telemarketer? Do you have an Etsy store?” I asked, wondering what it could be.
“What the hell’s an Etsy store?” he asked.
“Yeah, I should’ve figured, I didn’t see a craft room.”
When he still looked puzzled, I burst out laughing.
“I’m just messing with you. So, what is it? Your job?”
“C’mon, I’ll show you.”
Gray took my hand and we went inside.
He led me into his office, which was where I’d figured his epicenter was, since there was no craft room, and waited as he rounded the desk and sat down.
After a few moments of silence, with Gray wearing a weird kind of nervous, kind of shy expression on his face, I asked, “Well, what is it?”
He pointed to the bookshelf, but didn’t say anything.
I narrowed my eyes at him, wondering what the secrecy was about, and walked over to look at his shelves.
I half expected to see a ledger or log of some sort, but all that was on the shelf were books by the same guy, G. Tyler. I picked one up off the shelf, looking at the cover, then turning it over to read the back.
“G. Tyler is a solitary man who loves dogs, farming, and family. He prefers scotch to whiskey, and a good cigar to just about anything. He began writing as a lark, but now can’t imagine doing anything else.”
I looked up at him slowly, eyes wide.
“This is you?”
Grayson dipped his chin, and I swear, his face got red.
“You’re a writer?” I asked, even though Gray had just confirmed that he’d written the book in my hand.
Still, it was a lot to take in.
“What’s it about?”
He cleared his throat.
“It’s a series, about a Brooklyn detective named Kilgore. They’re thrillers.”
“Wow, I can’t believe it. That’s so… impressive,” I said. “This is book one?”
Gray shook his head.
I moved my hand to point at the first book on the shelf.
“This one?”
“Yeah.”
I put the book back on the shelf and grabbed the first in the series, then took it over to one of his big leather chairs and sat down.
“How did you get started?” I asked, totally curious about this new facet of a man I’d thought I knew so well.
I guess more than just appearances changed in a decade.
Unless you were me, I thought, feeling a bit like a slacker now that I knew how much Grayson had achieved. After all, I was still just a waitress.
“Well, like you said, the farm, this house, and getting settled here took a little bit of time, but once I had a routine down, I realized I needed to find something else to do, or I’d never last out here on my own. It started with a journal of sorts. I was having nightmares about Travis, so I wrote down what I remembered from those dreams, hoping it would help me get over them. To cope. From there, I came up with a story of what could have happened. Eventually, it changed from a story about two wolves, to a story about two brothers involved in a gang in Brooklyn and Kilgore was born.”
“What did you do after you finished Kilgore’s story?”
“I did a lot of research… found an editor, then an agent, and eventually sold it to a publisher. We’ve put out five books in the series so far, and I have the option to write five more.”
I leaned back in the chair and looked at him with what I was sure was adoration.
“So cool,” I said, and he looked embarrassed again.
“Thanks,” Gray said and the doorbell rang. He stood up and came around the desk. “That will be our delivery.”
Grayson
I knew I shouldn’t be embarrassed about telling Shonda that I was a writer, but I never wanted to sound boastful, and the only person who knew that I was G. Tyler were the people on my team, and Bane.
It felt weird to tell someone about my books and to see their reaction.
One of my first stipulations when I’d signed with my agent and my publisher, was that I wouldn’t make appearances. No conventions. No signings. No media. I wanted to keep my anonymity.
Not only was I not leaving my land, I wouldn’t permit anyone to come to me.
It had been a tough sell, but one they’d eventually agreed to. I was sure they assumed I was agoraphobic, and I was happy to let them believe it. As long as they agreed to my terms, I didn’t care what they thought.
But having Shonda’s eyes widen and her look so impressed had felt good. Really good.
There wasn’t much I could do in my current situation to impress anyone, let alone the woman I was falling for, and it had felt great when she looked at me like I was someone of worth.
After years of feeling like a murderer and outcast, it was a feeling I hadn’t expected to have again.
“Trying something new, Mr. Gray?”
I looked up from my musings to see Derek, my regular delivery person, hol
ding up a bottle of red wine.
I chuckled.
To say I was a creature of habit would be an understatement, and in this order, I’d not only included red wine, but some different snack and meal items as well. Derek had probably thought he’d had the wrong order.
“Yes, well, no, it’s not for me. It’s for my guest,” I replied.
“Oh, is Mr. Bane and his wife coming to stay? I can schedule an extra delivery for you if you’d like,” Derek said, ever helpful.
“No, actually, it’s not for my brother. I have a guest here of my own. A female guest.”
Now, I wasn’t sure why I was giving Derek so much personal information, or why I suddenly felt like I was the shit when he shot a big grin at me and said, “Mr. Gray, that’s great. Does she need anything else? All you have to do is message me and I’ll be sure to get whatever you need.”
“You know what, I’ll ask her. I’ll be right back.”
I left Derek in the kitchen and went to my office, where Shonda was currently curled up in my chair reading my book.
It was surreal.
“Hey, babe, Derek wants to know if there’s anything else you need. He can add it to his list and make an extra delivery if there is,” I said, pausing in the doorway.
Her head swung up and she bit her lip.
“Did you just call me, babe?”
Shit, I had.
“Uh…” I replied, my mind blanking.
I’d never been one for endearments or nicknames, but the babe had somehow slipped out.
“It’s okay, I’m just teasing… I liked it,” she said, rising and putting my book down, but not before she memorized the page number.
I wanted to ask her what she thought so far. Was dying to actually, but held my tongue and tried for nonchalance.
“So, do you need anything?” I asked again.
“I don’t know, why don’t I go meet Derek and see what he brought,” she suggested, tucking her hand into the crook of my arm.
“Sounds like a plan.”
As we walked down the hall, Shonda bumped her shoulder against my arm and whispered, “I really love it so far. Kilgore’s so funny, and smart, and I already feel the tension building.”
My heart pounded and I had to stop my chest from puffing out.
“Thanks.”
“Oh, you’ve brought me wine,” Shonda cried out as we entered the kitchen.
Derek’s head swung up and he looked surprised. Maybe he thought I’d been lying about having a woman over… making her up. Not that I could blame him. He’d been making my deliveries for years and had only ever seen me, Bane, and Sloane on my property.
“Watch out, Gray… I just may fall for Derek, especially if he keeps bringing me wine and cheese.”
I caught myself before rolling my eyes, which was something I never did, and probably would have freaked Derek out even more.
Instead, I grunted in response.
“Hi, I’m Shonda,” she said as she held out her hand to an already charmed Derek.
“Nice to meet you, Ms. Shonda, I’m Derek,” he replied, his face getting flush.
Looked like my delivery guy was smitten with my mate.
Feeling the need to stake my claim, my hand shot forward to bring Shonda back until her ass was flush against my front.
Shonda looked over her shoulder, obviously surprised by my He-Man display, but I noted the little flare in her eyes. My cock hardened in response, which made her eyes look like they were gonna pop out, before she wiggled her ass lightly against me, a sexy, confident smile taking over her face.
“Like I was telling Mr. Gray, if you need anything, just send me a list and I’ll get it to you, and if there’s something you want added to the weekly list, just let me know and I’ll be sure to keep you stocked.”
“Thank you, Derek, that’s very sweet,” Shonda said, pushing back again and causing my eyes to roll back in my head.
The need to bend her over my kitchen counter and fuck her furiously hit me, and I managed to say through clenched teeth, “We’ve got it from here. Thanks, Derek.”
Derek’s head popped up, and being a smart man, he read the look on my face and got the hell out of there.
“Nice to meet you, Ms. Shonda, see you next time, Mr. Gray,” he called over his shoulder.
“You, too,” Shonda called back, but the only response was the closing of the door.
Shonda
I wiggled my ass again, my eyes crossing at the feel of his rock hard cock against me.
Grayson let out a low growl, and I couldn’t keep the grin of satisfaction off of my face.
I knew I was about to get it, and I couldn’t wait.
One second I thought I was in control of the situation, and the next I was face down on the counter, my cheek hot against the cool granite. My skirt was flipped up and my panties ripped off, exposing me to the kitchen and Gray’s talented hands.
I was soaking wet, which made him growl even louder when he shoved two fingers easily inside.
“Gray,” I moaned, shoving my ass back as he began to fuck me with his fingers.
“Jesus, you’re wet,” he said with a groan. “You liked that didn’t you? Making me hard in front of Derek…”
“Yes,” I admitted, because it was the truth.
I’d never done anything sexual in public before, not that you could really call what I’d done either, but there was something about turning Gray on while Derek was in the same room; him not realizing what we were doing had made me feel powerful.
“What other kinds of things turn you on, I wonder? I think we’re going to have fun finding out,” Gray murmured, adding a third finger and moving faster.
My nipples were pebbled hard enough to cut glass and every thrust of my hips caused them to rub against the granite. I liked it, and found myself wishing I was fully naked, so I could feel the cold hard surface against my tits.
I tried to get up to take off my shirt, but Gray’s free hand came to the middle of my back and stopped me.
“Stay down,” he ordered, and my entire body quivered.
My wolf responded to the authority in his voice, and I could feel how badly she wanted to shift with him and run with his wolf.
I complied and bent back down, but not before I was able to reach down and pull up my shirt and bra, so that my breasts were free. I let out a hiss at the feeling of the cold granite. God, I was right, it did feel great. Decadent. Naughty.
I was never going to be able to chop vegetables on this counter again without making my panties wet.
I felt Grays’ tongue on my ass cheeks. The right, then the left, and then he was licking me right down the center.
“Fuck, Gray,” I cried as he tongued my ass and moved his fingers almost violently in my pussy. I was about to come when I lost his fingers, only to gain his mouth.
He ate like he was ravenous and within seconds I was coming hard, bucking back against his lips.
I was flattened on the counter, breaths coming out in pants, trying to regain my sanity, when Grays’ hands gripped my hips and he plunged his cock inside.
“Oh my God,” I managed, thinking I couldn’t possibly take any more pleasure, but loving the feel of his hard length inside of me.
“I fucking love fucking you,” Grayson said as he pounded inside of me, his balls slapping against my flesh with each thrust.
Not the most romantic thing I’d ever heard, but, God, those words did it for me.
I don’t know what it said about me, and didn’t really care, but I loved that Grayson was able to find pleasure with me, that he craved my body as much as I craved his. That he loved fucking me, as much as I loved being taken by him.
“Fuck me harder,” I urged, gasping when Gray reached up and grabbed my hair, pulling it hard enough for me to feel it, but not hard enough for it to hurt. At least, not in a bad way.
“Yes,” I breathed.
He was fucking me so hard that his movements were shaky… a little off kilter, a
nd as he tightened his fist in my hair, I started to come.
Gray’s teeth hit the side of my neck and he bit down, breaking flesh and kicking my orgasm into over drive. My body tightened and I could feel my pussy pulsing around him. My body was fire and he was the match, and I was helpless to do anything but feel.
We collapsed and slid down to the floor, not caring about the mess, the cold, or the fact that we were both sweating and panting like our wolves.
“Holy shit,” I managed as I struggled to catch my breath.
Grayson cupped my face, grinned down at me, then covered my lips with his and kissed me slow and sweet.
“I love you,” he said softly, then gave me a couple more quick kisses.
My heart burst and fell at his feet as happiness rushed through me.
“I love you, too, Gray,” I whispered back against his lips.
We laughed happily as we peppered each other with kisses.
“I never knew I could be this happy,” I confessed between pecks.
“Me neither.”
After a series of kisses, our bodies cooled down and I began to register the chill in the air, and the fact that I was sitting on the kitchen floor almost naked.
“I think I need a shower,” I told Gray.
He stood and reached down to help me to my feet.
“Sounds like a plan.”
As we gathered our discarded clothes and began to move though the kitchen, a knock sounded at the door.
“What the…?” Gray said, looking toward the sound in confusion. “You go ahead to the bathroom, I’ll get the door.”
I nodded. Being naked, I hadn’t planned on answering the door anyway.
As I walked down the hall, I heard the door open and Derek’s voice.
“Sorry, Mr. Gray, but I found this bag of groceries still in the car. I must have missed it when I brought in the others.”
“Have you been waiting out here the whole time?” I heard Gray ask.
“Uh, yes, sir… I didn’t want to interrupt,” Derek explained and I could hear the embarrassment in his tone.
I imagined Gray’s expression at the news that Derek had stood on the porch waiting for us to finish having loud, hot sex in the kitchen, and had to cover my mouth with my hand as I exploded with laughter and ran the rest of the way to the bathroom.
