Drago (Made Men Book 6)

Katarina could smell the food that was cooking on the other side. When she opened the door, she found Drago cooking what looked like spaghetti. Going over to him, she was thankful the big meatballs he had made were the only protein.
Pulling her to him, he gave her a kiss. “How was work?”
“Good.” She smiled, kissing him back.
“I ran you a bath.” Drago pushed her pink hair behind her ear. “I’ll let you know when the food is done.”
“You just gave me another reason for having a husband.”
He laughed. “What’s the other reason?”
“Having someone to toast my Pop-Tarts for me.”
“I don’t toast them for you.” He seemed confused.
“No.” Kat gave him a wink. “But now you know.”
Drago’s tough face softened. “Yes, I do.”
Excited for her bath, she went up the stairs, and when she reached the bathroom, she saw the huge tub was waiting with bubbles floating on top. Throwing her hair up in a bun, she practically ripped off all her clothes before she slowly got in.
Blissfully, she felt the water surround her.
My husband isn’t so bad after all.
Katarina rested on the back of the tub, letting the soothing warmth of the water relax her muscles as she closed her eyes. She didn’t realize she had dozed off, not hearing him call her name till Drago opened the door to make sure she was all right.
Awake now, she could see that ring of fire beginning to burn brighter in his eyes upon seeing her. He hadn’t touched her since that last time, and she didn’t force him, wanting him to come to terms with the guilt he carried on his own. Dreamily, she swirled the bubbles to cover the tips of her breast that were poking through the scented water.
Drago stalked closer and closer till he towered over her and the tub.
She looked up at him. He was so handsome that she had to lick her dry lips.
He lowered himself, going down to his knees as he reached out to rub his thumb over her bottom lip she had just licked. “Better be careful, Kitty Kat, before you poke the bear.”
“Really?” she asked before she did it again.
Trailing down from her lips to her neck, his finger slid down between her breasts. “Yes.”
“You’re getting your shirt wet,” Kat teased before he got much further.
Disappointed, she saw his hand come out of the water. She expected him to leave and was surprised to see Drago unbuttoning his shirt and slinging it toward the hamper to the side of the tub. His hand dipped back into the water, returning to the spot he had left.
When Drago’s hand slid down her belly, warmth flooded inside, becoming warmer than the water surrounding her. The quivering ache came next, making her glad that he couldn’t see under the water. Her hands went to the sides of the bathtub to hold herself upright, afraid that she would drown if she didn’t.
Her hands gripped the tub tighter the lower he got as he ran his fingertips along the inner length of her thigh. She forgot about swirling the bubbles, letting the sensations that Drago was arousing within her envelope her into its steamy mist. She inhaled the fragrant bath oil that Drago must have put in the water. Her elbows sloshed water over the side when his fingers came close to her essence before teasingly gliding away. Back and forth his hand wandered over her skin. Each time he touched her sex, his fingers would linger longer before pulling away.
Unable to take it anymore when a knuckle pushed down on her clit, she grabbed his wrist to hold it in place.
Drago twisted his hand free, sliding his fingers through her cleft to her opening, gliding inside so smoothly it didn’t even cause a ripple in the water. Her toes clenched when he licked the curve of her shoulder as his finger roved higher. More water sloshed over the side when his movements became faster and harder.
The only part of his body that was touching her was his hand, and it wasn’t enough.
“Drago, I need….”
“I know what you need.” His low voice sent shivers up her spine. Risking drowning, she released the side of the tub to run her hands over his chest. Curls of hair tickled her palms as she self-indulgently touched Drago. She loved being able to touch him, feeling the pounding of his heart underneath her hand. It was a power trip that had her thighs clenching on the hand that was touching her intimately. That somehow, she was in control of the large dangerous man who everyone feared would take them out. She knew he would stop the second she told him to; the gentleness he was touching her with showed that and more. It was a loving touch that was centered on her pleasure without asking anything for himself.
His skin was damp from the steam of the water, and his harsh face showed the torture he was going through to restrain himself.
Leaning forward, she placed a sweet kiss above his heart, sending more water over the edge as Drago’s hand jerked in reaction.
“This tub is big enough for two.” She moaned as her hands went to his shoulders, trying to pull him in the water with her forgetting that he still had his pants and shoes on. She just wanted to be able to touch every inch of him, and the tub was providing him a barrier from the needs that were swamping her.
He shook his head, pulling his hand away from her to come up out of the water to hold her chin. “I can’t do that.”
“Why?” she pleaded with her eyes, afraid he was going to leave her in need again.
“Because I have something I need to ask you.”
Kat looked at him confused for a second, but when his dry hand came up from his pocket holding a ring, she stared at the beautiful platinum metal that matched her wedding ring. This ring, however, held a beautiful black diamond.
“Will you marry me?” Drago asked, his voice heavy. “I want to marry you for real this time. Not because someone told us to, but because I love you.”
Tears flooded her eyes. She hadn’t thought she’d ever be the girl who would be gushy when a man asked her to marry him. It was a moment that she hadn’t been given before, and now here Drago was, giving her that moment, making it all the more special as they were already legally wed and wed in God’s eyes.
“Of course,” she cried, letting Drago take her left hand to slide on the beautiful ring that she couldn’t have picked better herself.
She wanted to jump out of the water or pull him in, but her husband made the choice for her as he reached for a large towel and lifted her into the cocooning warmth. Standing her on her feet, he used the towel to dry her, not even missing the sole of her feet, murmuring to her how beautiful his wife was with every spot he dried. Being pampered and spoiled wasn’t what she was used to, but it was soooo nice she never wanted it to end.
It didn’t, as she was picked up and brought to their bed.
Knowing that she was about to get her wish she wanted fulfilled, her heart raced till his lips came down on hers, slowing her pounding heart back down.
That was all she needed to writhe underneath him. She became pliable in his arms, following every direction he wanted. It was evident in both their eyes that this time wasn’t going to be slow and sweet, both of them in too much need for that.
“I promise to fuck you slowly next time,” he growled, covering her with his huge frame.
Feeling the steady pressure of his dick filling her, she willingly tilted her hips upward at the urging of his hands cupping her bottom. Uncaring of how he fucked her as long as he did.
When Drago moaned out for her to stay still, she froze, experiencing the building pressure within her and ignoring the instincts that told her to thrust back against him. It was a dance in which Drago led her where he wanted her to go. Each stroke and thrust of his body into hers sent spiraling peaks of desire that traveled all the way down to her toes.
She curved her body against his, her knees gripping each side of his hips as they moved slickly together. Drago’s rocking motions began to speed up, and Katrina wasn’t sure she would be able to keep up. His gentler movements became harder, firmer, the mouth on her breas
t leaving to catch hers in a kiss that stole what little oxygen she had left.
On a hard thrust, she felt the mysterious climax she had read about in books, making the other ones she’d had pale in comparison to this. It ripped through her in waves of pleasure that she would have never believed if she hadn’t experienced it for herself. Drago’s loud moan being the only thing that dragged her back to earth, running her hands over his shoulders and down his back as he shook in her arms. If she hadn’t watched, she would have missed the expression on his face, and it was one she would always remember.
Reaching up, she cupped his face, her thumb rubbing over the shadows that were almost gone. “I love you too.”
Forty-Three
So Long As You Both Shall Live
Kat stood on the beach holding her husband’s hand. He had surprised her by whisking her away for a week, so they could have a honeymoon.
A man with leis around his neck began to speak. “Katarina, do you take Drago to be your wedded husband to live together in marriage? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and health, and forsaking all others, be faithful only to him so long as you both shall live?”
And to get married, as Drago had called it, for real this time.
She also planned to surprise him with a gift of her own later tonight, deciding to finally take the De Santis name. However, Kat wouldn’t be leaving her old name behind. It had taken too long to finally be proud to bear the Luciano name and she wasn’t giving that up now. Katarina Luciano-De Santis, sounded like a badass name that she deserved.
Smiling up at him, she didn’t have to choke the words out this time. “I do.”
“And do you, Drago, take Katarina to be your wedded wife, to live together in marriage? Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and health, and forsaking all others, be faithful only to her, for as long as you both shall live?”
Drago’s fierce but loving eyes stared back at her, matching the red wedding dress she had wanted to wear just for that reason. “I do.”
You
There isn’t much that could keep me from you,
Not even the hateful words you spew.
Not even the mark on my face
Not even the tears I shed.
There is so much that should keep me from you,
But my mouth stays quiet
My feet stand still
Until I am ready
To part from
You.
