I really wanted to hurry, but kept my speed down to a reasonable nine miles over the limit. We didn’t need a ticket or another accident to deal with right now.
Jay’s family would be there for him, but it wasn’t the same thing as having your own person by your side. I wanted him to know that I wasn’t going to leave him to face this alone.
My boys would always have me.
