I always thought I would fight in competitions but now I was getting into underground fights. No one expected it of me. A girl was looking for a fight at one of F and N’s crews parties, I volunteered. Fought in one of F’s large shirts cause I wouldn’t have got the movement in my dress.
I knocked that woman out.
I was taught ‘knock them out or pass out’. Never tap out. I still stood by that rule. I’d rather be choked out, then to tap out.
“Alright back at it.” F hit me on the back, and I walked to the sidelines ready to do sets of running back and forth across Nate’s backyard.
Chapter 10
Autumn
When you hang around gangsters you pick up some bad habits. Like not finishing a cigarette before lighting another one. Not seeing the big deal for swiping something off the counter of the gas station after paying for your gas. I was beginning to see what Jacob spoke about, the grey.
Grey areas. What you could do, should do and finally what you do…all of which weren’t the same thing.
I inhaled on the joint, staring up at the sky. My body moving to the techno music. Then I heard the roar of motorcycles coming in this direction and I looked at Nate.
“We expecting anyone?” I asked and he smirked.
“Partying with the bikers tonight little cuz.” He handed me a beer and I swear the techno music went up a notch. It wasn’t the type of music they were used to but when they climbed off their bikes, their eyes scanned the half dressed women, that packed this pool area. They didn’t care about the music.
Drinks started to follow, cocaine began being snorted, and the music pumped out.
My hands were in the air as I danced around the pool, with Damon’s girlfriend. Damon was Nate’s and Fate’s right hand. The three of them were usually always together.
I was high on weed and the buzz of the line I did. I was lost in the music, feeling the beat of the DJ that always hosted these events.
The music was building, my body swaying, my hair going from side to side, red cup in hand and I was completely lost in the music and in the drugs.
As the DJ built the music I continued to move with Damon’s girlfriend. Damon and her had a transparent relationship. She was bisexual and they usually always had three in the relationship. Damon was a man, he didn’t care. Just meant he got to fuck two women, instead of one.
How their relationship was healthy I didn’t know. But that was the least of my thoughts as I let myself get lost in the music.
CAGE
“You really think partying with the gangsters is a good idea?” Jacob roared over the music as soon as we got of the bikes.
“It was Lit’s idea.” I pointed out but I fucking encouraged it because I wanted to know how Autumn ended up in the same state each weekend. Off her face, sometimes sporting a bruise.
The music wasn’t my taste. But my eyes were scanning the women in bikinis, all with red cups in hand, some with a joint in the other by the smell of the place.
When Nate suggested we crash one of their parties, I wasn’t expecting a scene from a music video.
The men started to head for the nearest cooler. While my eyes were hunting her down. Then my hands landed on an ass, I knew too well, because she was always walking away from me.
I wanted to make a beeline for Autumn, as she swayed to the techno beat, surrounded by women around her; all dancing seductive.
I watched Autumn inhale on the woman’s cigarette, which the woman was holding out for Autumn.
The two were like from a porno scene.
I heard someone curse beside me. Looking the man up and down. Damon. Nate’s right hand.
I hated the way his eyes were on Autumn. It was bad enough dealing with the chick all over Autumn. I couldn’t and wouldn’t be getting through the night if more men were drooling over her.
A smirk captured Damon’s face. And Nate whacked him on the back.
“Your woman is seducing my cousin.” Nate shouted at Damon.
His woman?
“Yeah, I’m thinking Rach has picked our woman for the night,” Damon grinned back.
Nate shook his head, and then shouted at his brother about something walking off.
“Fuck, I wish I had your relationship.” Another guy said that had also been standing next to Damon.
Damon grinned. “Trust me man, I don’t believe it half the time. But a threesome with Autumn, is high on the bucket list. Just look at her.”
Didn’t know whether to crack skulls and start a fight or… ask fucking questions. I went with the question angle, but instead of voicing them. I was listening to Damon and the other dude talk.
I figured out the raven haired woman that was dancing with Autumn was bisexual and usually picked up a third for the bedroom for her and Damon.
Damon loved their relationship and was hoping Rach could convince Autumn into their bedroom tonight.
That wasn’t happening. Period.
But I saw the glaze in her eyes as she danced from here, she was on another fucking planet. I actually think she was usually more sober when she turned up at the clubhouse after one of these events, then right now.
I wasn’t a dancer.
So how the hell was I going to make a move on her?
I watched as Rach’s hand went to Autumn’s hip. I had to do fucking something. But just as I thought that, Rachel’s lips landed on Autumn’s and the worst part? Autumn was kissing back.
Where the hell was one of her blood relatives? I scanned the crowd, and spotted Nate and Fate’s back, and then Jacob, disappear into the shed- clearly wanting to have a conversation.
I looked back at Autumn, only to see Rach now had her bikini top off. Damon didn’t give two shits so it must happen often. But when Rach’s fingers undid the top of Autumn’s bikini I began to panic.
Wouldn’t have been able to make it across even if I had lightening speed. I watched in horror bikini top drop to the ground. Fuck me. They went back to kissing. And I snapped.
She wasn’t fucking thinking! She was off the fucking planet on drugs for one! I weaved in through the thick crowd and got to the girls, who were causing a real fucking scene.
Didn’t think of it twice. I knew everyone was going to be pissed but I didn’t give a fuck. I shoved both the girls in the pool. Breaking them up and hopefully sobering Autumn the fuck up.
Autumn
The ice water swallowed me. It was hot, but this water was freezing! I came up to the surface pushing my hair back, and looking up, locking eyes with the most furious steel jet black eyes.
Everyone was clearly pissed off that their entrainment had ended. But no one was saying anything because of the furious biker standing there, who had clearly been the one to push us in.
I sobered up somewhat. Enough to know that I was topless, surrounded by gangsters, bikers and women. God I was that girl. My eyes widened, when I remembered that Nate and Fate where here somewhere.
I think this realization was clear on my face because Cage was at the stairs as I walked out of the pool, his t-shirt off, putting his vest back on. Topless Cage. God, I did not need that sight right now.
He was quick to slip his shirt over me. He took my hand and pulled me away from the boos and laughter.
We made it around the corner of the large house, when he pushed me back against the brick house. One of his hands on my hip, the other cupping my cheek leaning down kissing my lips.
I was surprised at first, but then a rush of him hit me. My hand going to his bare chest. Fuck me. Actually that wasn’t a bad idea. My lips twitched up. If I could get him worked up enough, he might fuck me right here, right now.
His hands then move their way to my ass, gripping it, lifting me up, my legs wrapping around him, trapping me against the wall and him.
CAGE
What was she doing to me? She was killing me. I ran my hand under her top, which was sticking to her from the water.
Her nails dug into my chest, as I pinned her back against t
he wall.
Biting her bottom lip she finally opens her mouth for me. Fuck was she trying to punish me? I needed to be deep inside her, but the warmth of her mouth reminded me of the warmth of her, when I was deep in her.
But it was the sweetest moan off her lips that snapped me, and I was undoing my belt.
Public sex wasn’t my normal thing but no one was around. I disarmed the gun from the back of the waist of my jeans, and then dropped it to the ground, before freeing myself.
Thrusting into her, my willpower of holding back was stained. As another moan escapes her lips I put a hand over her mouth, as I go in deeper, feeling her hot breath in the palm of my hand.
The last thing I needed was someone coming along to watch me fuck her, after hearing her moan.
Seeing as she had tormented me earlier, by kissing that woman I was going to get her back. So I pulled out slowly, and then in slowly, seeing her eyes get frustrated, and then she bit the inside of my palm.
“Calm down baby girl,” I whispered while blowing in her ear. “You tormented me.”
I pull my hand away from her mouth, only to be scowled by her eyes. “You’ll know torment in a minute if you don’t fuck me harder,” she threatened and I smirked at that.
Then as if she had a point to prove, she pushed me back, unwrapping her legs from around me, dropping to her knees, that warm mouth of hers wrapping around me.
“Okay baby girl be kind,” I said before my hand went into her hair, but she was already taking me all in her mouth. She didn’t even gag. Fuck, she couldn’t get any better.
“Okay Autumn, you’ve proved your point,” I grit out, holding back. She didn’t stop sucking though, and I was seconds away from filling her mouth.
I went to pull out but her hand went to my length, working it. I physically couldn’t stop myself then, as I came in her mouth.
She didn’t pull away.
She didn’t spit it out. Instead she rose up, her eyes on me. I was speechless. She was like a fucking porn star. But she was mine. And I didn’t have to share her with the world.
Never had a woman take it so willingly, or have a pussy as tight as hers. She had robbed me of finishing inside her.
But what she had done, was the next best thing. If not better because usually the women I was with spat.
My hand cupped her cheek. Was it the drugs? Was that why she did that? Cause she was under the influence?
“Cage?”
“Mmm babygirl?”
“Take me home?”
My eyes went to hers. “You want to leave? Thought your night was just starting?”
“You sobered me up. I want to go home.”
“After what you just did, I’d do anything you ask.”
She smiled and it was the first smile she had given anyone in months. She then paused, looking at me.
“You don’t think Nate and Fate saw my show do you?”
I could torment her. But I just couldn’t do it to her after what she had just done for me. “No baby girl they didn’t, they were in the shed.” I then gripped her wrist before she walked off. “But I did, and I didn’t like it.”
“Usually men like girls kissing.”
“I don’t like my woman kissing another woman.” I ran my thumb up her wrist, “I’m a jealous type, even when it comes to women. I don’t share.”
“Well I’m not yours, am I?” She arched her eyebrows at me, and I wanted to argue with her. Did she just blow off any man like she had just done me? Did she let any man touch her the way I touched her?
“Cage. Don’t.” She was quick to say. “Don’t start a fight.”
Fight. I scoffed. “Nah fighting would mean you care about an outcome. And who are we kidding, you couldn’t give a shit about anything lately.”
Her eyes widened.
What did she expect me not to call her out on the fact that I had noticed she didn’t care about living?
“I want to go home.” Was her words of choice, and as I said, she didn’t want a fight because she couldn’t give a damn about the outcome of the fight. Why put effort into a fight when you don’t care about the point you are arguing?
Shit was doing my head in. Club shit. I thought tonight I could turn it all off, and while Autumn had distracted my brain from it, it wasn’t the case now. Back at the club, where all my problems dwelled.
Hawk had gone on a bender. Something was wrong with him- fuck if I knew what.
I lit up a smoke, sitting in the common room of the club. Autumn had disappeared as soon as she got off the bike. Leaving me in an empty club with my thoughts.
As a Vice I had to step up when the President disappeared. However, stepping up when the club was nearing a crisis wasn’t expected.
The club wasn’t earning. We were down numbers, barely able to pay weekly wages. We needed a new source of income. Or needed to increase our current deals- to allow for the new members we had taken on.
Our current income was floating the club, but we were slowly going under. Our books were in the minus as we paid off everyone on our payroll.
The cops.
The council.
And now a lead detective who had just opened up a case on the club.
Like I said, we were barely keeping above float. The club was nearing a crisis.
I heard the stairs creak, and considering I was the only one here, I reached for my gun. Perfect time to rob the MC would be when the members were out partying with the gangsters.
I lowered the gun, when I saw it was Autumn who rounded the corner.
Her blonde hair was in a ponytail. Looked like she had showered, but the look on her face, caused me to frown. You would think I had pissed her off or something? She was basically glaring at me.
Maybe she was regretting earlier?
God knows I wasn’t regretting it. “You alright?” I asked, sort of glad I was the one with a gun in my hand- and she didn’t have one.
“I care.” She crossed her arms.
“Okay?”
Her eyes sharpened on me. “I care okay! You said I didn’t care, but I do.”
What was she going on about? Oh. Right. It hit me. She didn’t care about fighting, cause she didn’t care about the outcome. Or at least that is what I said.
“Okay. You care.” I said off handed and butted a cigarette out to light another one. God knows I’ll need it, if Autumn was in this mood.
“Hawk’s disappeared. Why?” Autumn stepped into the room more, slowly heading towards me sitting on the lounge.
“Fuck if I know.” I blew out a mouthful of smoke. “Why? You suddenly care about freezing him out?” I gave her a pointed look. “Again.”
“He killed my father.” Her words had some heat on them. “This club that you love, Jacob loves, and he loves, killed my father.”
“I told you Autumn. I can’t do shit about the past, but I can shape the future for the club.” I really didn’t feel like having this argument. Was she going to force me to stand up for the club, again? Cause that went down so well the first time. “What can I say Autumn, the strong survive in this world.”
Our eyes were locked- I expected to see her temper rise. But it didn’t. Instead she walked towards me, lowering down on the couch beside me. I was expecting her to freak the fuck out, yell and run- like she normally does.
“I know,” she said so softly. “I’m starting to learn that the weak will fall for anything but the strong stand tall when everyone is trying to tear them down.” She gave me a sideways look. “You’re one of the few men I know that stand taller when challenged.” She gestured a hand around the room. “This, is all a game of strengths. The strength to break the laws. The strength to keep your mouth shut. The strength to kill.” Her eyes remained locked with mine. “The strength to rise in a world that wants you dead.”
I remained silent just staring at her. Fuck, she could be wise when she wanted to be.
“At the end of the day, the club is made up of lions and sheep.” Her fingers took the
cigarette from my fingers. “Guess you can never tame the wild ones, can you?”
She didn’t realize she was giving me answers to questions I had been asking myself. I watched her inhale on my cigarette, exhaling, she looked at me.
“I didn’t mean to block Hawk out. You know they say the memories you have when you are younger stay with you for the rest of your life.” She paused. “Jacob thinks I don’t remember him locking me in cupboards while mom and dad fought. But I remember.”
I saw her eyes tear up and my hand went to hers.
“You know I grieved for a dad I didn’t really have. That was my downfall. Then Hawk stepped in, and he was the father I had been grieving, thinking I had. That I had lost. When really…” She hesitated, inhaling on the cigarette. “Hawk was, is, every bit of the father I needed.” She ran a hand down her ponytail. “Took me a few months and a conversation with Jacob to realize that.”
“Does what the club did settle with you better now?” I wanted to know what she was getting at, was she stepping back into the club life. Away from the bloody gangsters.
“No and yes. The older I get, the more I see grey.”
I knew exactly what she was talking about. The grey areas of life. The things that weren’t black and white. It got under my skin that a woman like Autumn, whose future was bright, saw the grey. Men like me should see it, but women like her should still be seeing black and white.
“Yeah well that ain’t right,” I muttered- not liking the fact she was in the position she was in. Picking between ya father and ya step father mustn’t be fucking easy. Especially when one killed the other.
She butted the cigarette out, and picked up my packet, lighting one up and handing it back to me. “Sorry for stealing your smoke.” She had a sly smile on her face. And I couldn’t help but think that was the cutest expression she had in her.
“Come here.”
She moved, placing a leg over me. Straddling me. The cigarette was burning in my left hand while I ran my knuckles down her bare arm with my free hand.
