He begins to trail kisses down to my inner thighs. “Yes or no?”

  “If you want.”

“Answer the question, beautiful,” he says, gently biting my inner thigh.

  “Yes. Fuck yes.”

“If I ask you a question, especially when I’m loving on you, I want a straight answer. You hear me?”

“Uh-huh…” The anticipation of him sinking his canines into us is driving us wild, but when he suddenly does, we’re not only unprepared, but it unleashes a climax within us so profound, we scream his name.

And the way he growls while he sucks the blood from us.

“Damn, that shit tastes a million times better than I expected. Fuck.”

He stands and leans forward to wrap a hand around our throat, then proceeds to kiss us furiously, sharing all our tastes with us. “You have no idea how desperately I wanna fuck you all over this house right now, but I’m pretty sure I can sense my parents coming.”

“Do you want us to port us somewhere?”

He drops his head to our neck. “No. I wanna get this shit over with so I can take my time with you.”

  We sigh with disappointment. “Alright.”

He lifts his head. “No matter what is said, or what happens, just remember I love you and that’s all that matters, alright?”

We nod. We’re fully aware his parents don’t like vampires, so heaven only knows how badly this is going to go. But he’s right. Nothing else matters. We’re mates, so what can his parents do? If they reject us, they’ll lose their son.

But we hope to God that doesn’t happen.

  Vallessa

I meet Vallessa and Aura in the new world and immediately squeal with excitement. Not only because of what's just happened, but because of what's to come.

“I think we all deserve a round of applause for those epic timings, ladies.”

Vallessa laughs, and although Aura shakes her head, I see the smile.

“A job well done, I agree,” she says. “However, our work is far from over, and nor is theirs.”

Her statement is sobering, and I can tell Vallessa feels the same, but she has got a lot that she’ll need to handle going forward.

“Mom and dad have just found out from my Aunt,” I tell her. “Are you ready?”

  “More than.”

She's much more confident about meeting mom this time around, but this is about her daughter now, and Vallessa doesn't play about her children, just like my mom doesn't about hers.

As much as I love my mom with all my heart, this has been coming for a long time. She can’t keep going through life holding this grudge for any longer. It’s time to forgive and forget, once and for all.

“Very well,” Aura says. “Let us go.”

I clap my hands together. “Finally.”

  I cannot wait for this…

  About LeeSha McCoy

LeeSha McCoy is a bestselling author of over 25 African American Romance novels. She released her first book in 2012 and currently writes African American Urban Romance, Paranormal, Fantasy, and Contemporary Romance under the pen name Karmen Kane.

Representation is important to her, so you will always find positive representations of black men and women in her books, with a focus on strong heroines and the heroes that love the hell out of them.

Writing novels that make her readers 'feel' is her mission; she does not just write stories to be read, but for her readers to experience.

She began writing in the late 90's, although it was mostly song lyrics she wrote to escape her loneliness. As one of only a handful of bi-racial children living in her small hometown of Banbury, she struggled to make friends and be accepted, so she spent most of her childhood alone.

She currently lives in England, but her family is spread all across the United States, including in the states of Baltimore, Colorado, and Texas.

As a mother to four beautiful children, she spends her spare time caring for her family, binge reading dirty romances, or watching food review shows on YouTube.
