A Guy for Christmas

“How long do I have to wait until we do that again?”

Dean gave him a mock glare. “The weekend. I do have papers to grade, you know.” He stroked Robin’s sticky belly and pubes. “Though I know what I’d rather be doing.”

Then Robin’s heart sang as Dean shifted closer and took his mouth in a soft, sweet kiss. Robin looped his arms around Dean’s neck, deepening the kiss, loving how Dean took possession of his lips.

When they parted, Dean caressed his cheek. “You’re sexy as fuck when you come. Not that you aren’t sexy as fuck the rest of the time.”

  “You really think that?”

Dean smiled. “Somehow I don’t think you were fishing for compliments that time.” He leaned in closer, his lips almost touching Robin’s. “Yes, I really think that,” he whispered. “You’re beautiful. Thank you for sharing that first time with me.”

Robin’s throat seized, and he couldn’t squeeze a single word out.

Dean simply slipped his arm beneath Robin and held him as he claimed Robin’s lips in a lingering kiss.

With a sigh, Dean sat back on his haunches. “I think we’ve run out of time.”

Robin knew he was right, but his heart sank to hear it. “So… Saturday?”

Dean nodded. “Actually, I’m putting up my Christmas lights and decorations that day. You could help, if you’d like.”

The last thing Robin wanted was for Dean to think he was only there for sex.

“I’d love to,” he said, meaning every word.

Dean beamed. “Great. Come over mid-morning, and we can make a start. With any luck, we’ll be done by the time it gets dark.”

Robin gaped at him. “How much stuff have you got to put up?”

Dean glanced at his bare torso. “I think you should be more worried about how you’re going to explain that to your parents.” He pointed to Robin’s sweater.

Robin glanced down and froze at the sight of the spots of come. “Aw fuck.” He scrambled off the couch, pulling up his jeans and underwear.

Talk about killing the mood stone dead.

A couple of minutes later, he was at Dean’s front door, buttoning his coat. With any luck, he could get to his room and changed into another sweater before they noticed it wasn’t the same one he’d left the house in.

“Hey.” Dean laid his hand on Robin’s shoulder, and Robin stilled. Dean’s eyes sparkled. “Thank you.” Then he kissed Robin, as if they had all the time in the world.

Okay, he hadn’t expected that. What made it even better was the natural way Dean did it, as though he was saying goodnight to someone he cared for.

When Dean drew back, Robin smiled. “Thank you.” Then he was out into the cold night air, his breath condensing as he exhaled, and his heart as light as a feather.

His first sexual experience had been awesome. Amazing. Hotter than he’d ever imagined.

And there was more to come.

The best part? It would be with Dean.

  Chapter Ten

Robin let himself into the house as quietly as he could to avoid drawing attention to himself. From the living room came his parents’ laughter, so he crept past, still bundled up in his coat. Once inside his bedroom, he shucked off his sweater and stuffed it into the hamper, making a mental note to do his own laundry the following morning.

Yeah, right. Like that’s not gonna make Mom suspicious.

“Robin? When did you get in?” Mom called out.

“Just now,” he hollered back as he grabbed another sweater from his closet. He got his head stuck in his hurry to put it on, and the sleeves were playing hard to get too. A last glance in the mirror assured him he didn’t appear any different.

What was I expecting? A sign on my forehead saying, ‘I got blown’?

He went into the living room. Dad was laughing hard at some old movie that seemed vaguely familiar. Mom was crocheting… something.

She glanced up as he entered, a frown creasing her forehead. “Have you changed sweaters?”

  “Yeah.”

“Did you have a good time at Ben’s?” she inquired.

  “Yeah.”

“Is he a good player?” Dad asked.

  “S’okay.”

Mom chuckled. “I am overwhelmed by your enthusiasm.”

The thing was, Robin didn’t trust himself to speak right then, because he was pretty sure yelling ‘I had my first blowjob’ was not what his parents needed to hear. He was still bubbling inside, and he wanted to return to the haven of his room so he could relive it blow by blow—literally.

“I’ll be in my room.” And before they could ask him any more questions he couldn’t answer, Robin left them to their movie. As he closed the door behind him, he strained to listen for any comments about his lack of conversation.

“I have a theory.” That was Mom.

“Hm?” It sounded like Dad was concentrating on watching TV.

  “This Ben…”

“Stop it. You don’t know there’s anything going on between them.”

“You don’t think it’s odd? He’s never mentioned this Ben, he’s never gone over to his house, and all of a sudden—”

“Petra.” Even Robin recognized the note of warning in his dad’s voice. “Leave it.”

Oh fuck. What have I started?

Then Robin reasoned this was maybe a good thing. If Dad was all for guarding Robin’s privacy, then he had an excuse to go out more often. His mom running into Ben was about as likely as Ryan declaring he’d decided to become celibate.

Robin went into his room and closed the door. He flopped onto his bed and lay on his back, staring at the ceiling. Only, he wasn’t seeing the white painted surface and the cream light shade. Instead, he was watching Dean swallowing his cock, holding it steady while he went down on it. He was hearing their breathing, harsh and loud, as Dean licked up and down his shaft. He was feeling Dean’s lips on his as they kissed.

Robin was going to replay the evening in his head over and over again.

His phone vibrated in his pocket, and he took it out. Three texts and one missed call, all from Ryan. How did I miss these? Then he laughed out loud. I was kinda occupied. He pulled up the texts.

  What’s up?

  You busy?

  Why aren’t you answering?

Robin quickly typed a reply. Home now. In my room.

Seconds later, Ryan was on FaceTime. “Where have you been?”

Robin ignored the question. “Why didn’t you tell me how fucking awesome it is when someone sucks your dick?”

Ryan stared at him blankly for a moment, before collapsing into laughter. When he was done, he wiped his eyes. “Congrats, bro. I’ll say this for you. You’re fast. It’s only been—” He counted on his fingers. “Ten days since I came up with my brilliant plan.”

Robin snorted. “For the record? He saw through your brilliant plan instantly.” He had to smile, however. “He said I was fast too.”

Ryan rolled onto his back, his head propped up on a pillow, his phone on his chest. “So? What’s he like?”

“He’s great.” Robin knew he was wearing a stupid grin but he didn’t give a fuck. “He’s funny. And he’s considerate too. He really cares.” He loved how Dean had made sure Robin wanted it before he’d made a move.

  Ryan went quiet.

  Robin frowned. “What?”

“Well, what I meant was, what’s he like at sucking dick? I wasn’t expecting the lowdown on what kind of guy he is.” He stared intently at Robin. “This isn’t some quick lay, is it? He’s not some random guy you’ve gotten to pop your cherry.”

Robin knew in his heart Dean was never going to be that. He was already so much more. He was… special.

“You said he’s a ski instructor?”

Robin’s heartbeat quickened. He had to tell someone before he exploded, and he knew Ryan would keep his secret. “Kind of. It’s not what he does for a living.”

Ryan rolled onto his side, his head propped up in his ha
nd. “Dude? Who is he? And why all the mystery?”

Robin took a deep breath. “You have to promise. You can’t breathe a word of this to Mom or Dad.”

Ryan’s expression changed immediately. “You got it.”

“The thing is…” His heart hammered and his chest grew tight. “It’s Dean Quentin.” No way was he gonna call him Mr. Quentin, not after what they’d done together.

Ryan’s eyes were like saucers. “Dean Quen—my drama teacher?” His jaw dropped.

Robin nodded. “Now you know why you’ve gotta keep it a secret.”

Then Ryan broke into a huge grin. “Mr. Quentin blew you? Way to fucking go, bro. Kudos to you for having the nerve to ask him.”

“Still can’t believe I did that.” He was reeling from the fact that Dean had said yes.

Ryan’s brow creased. “But the way you were talking about him just now…”

Robin knew what was coming and waited.

“This is sounding serious. Like, you have feelings for the guy.”

“So what if I do?” Robin stuck his chin out.

Ryan sighed. “God, you’re so like Mom.”

  “What does that mean?”

“You’re a romantic little soul, aren’t ya? Well, do yourself a favor and don’t go falling for him.”

Robin’s stomach clenched. “I’m not stupid, okay?” Except he was that stupid, he really was.

“Look, just because he’s your first doesn’t mean you’re gonna fall in love and ride off into the sunset together. Life isn’t like that. I’m as dumb as a bag of rocks, and even I know that.” His frown deepened. “I’m worried about you.”

“Well, don’t be. I know what I’m doing.” Yeah, right.

Ryan’s eyebrows went high, and Robin could almost hear his own unspoken words repeated inside Ryan’s head. Then Ryan sighed again. “Mr. Quentin is a cool guy though. You’ve got good taste, I’ll say that for you.” He grinned. “Tell me you’re not gonna stop at a blowjob. Tell me the gorgeous Mr. Q has plans for that ass of yours.”

“I’ll tell you the same I told you last time you asked such a question—what makes you think I’m gonna discuss this with you? You’ve had all the info you’re getting, and that’s only because I had to tell someone before I burst.”

Ryan snorted. “Gee thanks. Really feeling the love here.” Then all trace of humor left his features. “I’m not gonna say it again, bro. You know.”

Yeah, Robin knew. For all their squabbles and sass and snark, their connection was strong. And while Ryan might be an asshole on occasions, he would always be Robin’s twin, and Robin would always love him.

“Now get off the phone.” Ryan’s eyes glittered. “Because now you have new stuff to add to your spank bank, so you don’t wanna be wasting precious time talking to me. Go let your hand do the talking.” And with that, he disconnected.

For once, Robin was in complete agreement, and he aimed to do exactly that—once he’d locked his door.

Dean sat in his wide armchair, Lady in his lap, Loki curled up next to her. There appeared to have been a ceasefire, because Lady hadn’t hissed at Loki’s presumption to share Dean’s lap. He stroked them both, barely registering the music playing in the background.

  His mind was on Robin.

Dean stared at the couch where only a short time ago, he’d brought Robin to a shuddering orgasm. He hadn’t lied. Watching Robin come had been… exhilarating? Sexy as fuck? Not to mention the hottest thing he’d witnessed in a long while. And once Dean had finally put aside his doubts and fears, and let himself go, Robin’s kisses ignited a fire inside him that was still smoldering an hour after he’d gone home.

It was only after Robin had gotten onto his bike and pedaled down the street that Dean had realized the drapes on his front window had been open the entire time.

Wonder if my neighbors caught the show?

It was a mistake he didn’t intend to make again. Because Dean was certain there would be a next time, so certain that he’d made a note to go to the drugstore on the way home from school. His supplies were running low, and he had a feeling he was going to need a lot of condoms.

What was I like at his age? Dean smiled to himself. Perpetually horny would have been an apt description. Christ, the wind could change direction and he’d be hard. He doubted Robin would be any different. He has so much to discover.

Dean intended to make sure Robin got a better start to his voyage of discovery than Dean had gotten.

His phone buzzed, and he wondered briefly if it was Robin. The thought of talking to him before he went to bed was a pleasant one. Dean glanced at the screen and smiled as he clicked Answer.

“Hey. How are rehearsals going? Ready for opening night? It’s two weeks this Saturday, right?”

Adrian groaned. “Don’t remind me. There are days when it feels like we’ll never be ready. And opening night is what I wanted to discuss. Do you still want to come?”

“Try and keep me away,” Dean told him earnestly.

“Oh, great. At least I’ll have one friendly face in the audience.”

Dean chuckled. “Ade, it will be amazing, and you know it.” Adrian was always like this before a new production.

“I’ll send you a ticket. Or do I make that two?”

“That’s your oh-so-unsubtle way of inquiring whether I’m dating anyone, isn’t it?”

Adrian laughed. “Okay, you got me. Well?”

Dean hesitated. “I’ll need two tickets, but before you start hearing wedding bells—and don’t deny it, because that’s what you did every single time I dated anyone in Chicago—it’s sort of… complicated.”

“Ooh, now I’m intrigued. Tell me more.”

  “He’s not exactly my date.”

“This gets better and better. So what is he then?”

“He’s more like the eighteen-year-old ex-student whose dad is making me a new canoe.”

A pause. “Keep going, because I know there’s more to come. I can hear it in your voice.”

“Only if you promise to listen without comment till I’m finished.”

  “You got it.”

Dean told him everything, and true to his word, Adrian listened without a single interruption. When he was through, Dean fell silent.

  “Wow.”

“That’s all I get?” Dean demanded incredulously. “Wow?”

“No, seriously, I’m impressed.” Adrian chuckled. “By your stamina, if nothing else. Because to keep up with the potential sexual Olympics that will undoubtedly be a major factor in a relationship with an eighteen-year-old…”

Dean snorted. “You make it sound like we’re going to be fucking every hour on the hour.”

“No, it will only feel that way,” Adrian quipped. “But hey, go for it.” Another pause. “Please, tell me he’s not some pimple-covered kid with a huge dick and no brain.”

Dean let out a mock gasp. “Ouch. That’s harsh. And here was I thinking you were my friend.”

“I am!” Adrian protested. “And I’m teasing. So what is he like?”

“Oh, Ade. He’s beautiful. He’s smart. He’s funny. He’s talented.” And Dean wanted to know more of him.

“But he’s got a tiny dick. I’m reading between the lines here because you left that part out.”

Dean laughed. “Sorry to disappoint you, but no. He’s got a gorgeous dick.”

“And I get to meet him, right? Because you’re going to bring him to the party after the show, aren’t you?” It might have sounded like a question, but Dean knew better.

  It was a summons.

“Okay, I’ll bring him. I’ll make sure he doesn’t drink.” The last thing Dean wanted was Adrian getting in trouble with the cops. “And if you say the word, I’ll bring him backstage too. He’d love that.”

“I can’t wait. Where will you stay? I’d ask you to sleep at my place, but it’s going to be packed. All my roommates are home, and they’ve got guests staying too.”

  “Then I’l
l book us a hotel. I’ll get right on it once I finish this call.” Part of him was pleased about that. He was very fond of Adrian, but he didn’t like the idea of getting up to anything with him in the next room.

Then it occurred to him. School closed for the holidays at midday the Friday before the performance. If we leave ASAP and come back Sunday night, that would give us two nights together.

Two nights in a hotel bed—with Robin.

Santa was giving Dean his Christmas present early this year.

“Hey, where did you go? Are we done? Is that it?” Adrian sounded amused.

“Sorry. I zoned out there for a sec. I can’t wait to see you again. It’s been too long, and we really need to catch up. So I’ll see you in two weeks’ time.”

“Sure. Do I mail the tickets, or simply leave them at the box office for you?”

“Leave them. You’ve got enough on your plate.”

“Fine. Now go back to drooling over your shiny new toy, and I’ll see you then.” Adrian disconnected.

Dean scrolled to Robin’s number and sent a text. Got a sec? When his phone rang, he couldn’t help smiling. “Hey. Hello there.”

“I was just thinking about you.” Robin sounded a little out of breath.

Dean chuckled. “I’m not going to ask in what context. But from the sound of it, you might need to wipe down your phone when we’re done.”

Silence. “Do you have cameras set up in my room?”

Busted. “Nope, but I was eighteen once. Now… you remember I told about my friend Adrian, who’s—”

  “The dancer? Sure.”

“He’s performing Saturday December 21st. And my plan is to leave Lake Placid as soon as we can once school is out, and spend two nights in the city, returning here Sunday evening. How does that sound?”

“A weekend in New York—with you?”

“We talked about this, didn’t we?” Dean was momentarily puzzled.

“Yeah, we did, only… I didn’t think it would happen.”

“Well, it is happening. And I’m calling now because you’ll have to clear it with your parents. They’ll need to know you’re going with me.”
