“Uh, Monique,” she said, and I nodded. “She said she would send you our way. So what are we looking for today?” she asked.

“Black pants, a shirt, and black vests,” I replied.

“Okay. Any idea of what colour shirt you’d like?” Samantha asked.

“Um, probably the same colour Monique is wearing. Is she wearing white or off-white?” I asked.

“She is wearing ivory, which is an off-white colour. Here, this is the fabric,” Samantha said, grabbing a swatch of fabric and showing it to me.

“Okay, we will go that colour then,” I said.

“What colour are the bridesmaids wearing?” Dozer asked.

“They are wearing dark green, and this is the fabric they have.” She showed Dozer the swatch. “Dave has a shirt in this colour, and black pants, and black vest. We have a black shirt that has a green accent in it. Here I’ll show you.”

Samantha went to a rack and pulled out a shirt that was black but looked green if you turned it. It wasn’t that shiny shit but looked like cotton. Actually, it wasn’t bad.

“Let’s try that, then. Do Prez first so we know what we’re getting into,” Trigger said.

  “Thanks, fucker,” I muttered.

“Okay, so I have a quick question. Do you have clothes big enough for us all? I mean. I’m six foot eight. Dozer is six foot six. Prez is six foot three, and Trigger is six foot. The boys are what— about five foot eight?” Hulk asked.

“I’m certain we have just what you need, but I can send you to our Big Brother store that has larger sizes if we can’t find anything big enough,” Samantha answered.

“No worries, honey. It shouldn’t be a problem, then. I think we are smaller than that, but we’ll see,” Hulk said.

“So, Thor, let’s get you sorted out, and then we’ll do the rest, okay?” Samantha said.

  “Sure,” I answered.

She showed me what she had, and after getting my sizes, she grabbed the clothes and showed me to the dressing room. They fit perfectly, and when I walked out, the guys whistled.

“Shut the fuck up,” I said to them, but they just laughed more.

“Now it’s your turn,” I said to them, laughing.

Samantha started with Hulk since he was the biggest. She grabbed the clothes after getting his size, then got Dozer’s and Trigger’s sizes. Grabbing their clothes, she asked all of them to follow her to the change rooms, which they dutifully did. While they were changing, she turned her attention to the boys.

“Are the twins having the same colour as the groomsmen?” she asked.

“Triplets. Madilyn is our triplet,” Connor said.

“Oh, wow. I didn’t know that,” she said.

“That’s cool. She looks like our mum, and we look like Dad.” Jackson shrugged.

“That you all do. Alrighty then, let’s get you boys situated. What sizes do you wear?” she asked, then grabbed the clothes and showed them to the change rooms.

Hulk, Dozer, and Trigger came out, and the clothes fit them perfectly, too.

I nodded, and then the boys came out.

“Fucking perfect. Do you, by chance, have boots here?” I asked.

“We certainly do. We have motorcycle boots that would be perfect for you guys.”

“Huh, how’d you guess we would want them?” Dozer asked.

“Well, I assume you’re all in a motorcycle club by the vests you wore coming in, so I assumed you’d want boots and not proper dress shoes,” she replied.

“Well, you have that right,” I said.

  “You aren’t scared?” Hulk asked.

“Not really. You’re all big guys, but so far, you have given me no reason to be.” She shrugged.

“There you go,” I said with a laugh.

Samantha showed us to the boots, and we tried them on.

“All right, everything is perfect. Bag and tag them, and I’ll take it all,” I stated.

  Samantha started laughing.

  “What?” I inquired.

“Monique had the same attitude, and it made it so easy. You guys are exactly the same. You have all made my day so much easier,” she replied.

While we all changed back into our clothes, she bagged up the clothes and boxed the shoes, and then I paid for them.

“Thank you, so much for today, Thor, and congratulations,” she said.

“Thank you, Samantha. I’ll certainly recommend this place to others. You’ve been fucking awesome,” I replied.

We left the store, and while Jackson, Connor, and I hopped back into the car, the others got on their bikes. Then we made our way back to the clubhouse where I noticed the car hadn’t moved from its spot since we’d left.

As we entered the clubhouse, Monique, Madilyn, and Claire had their dance bags and were just walking to the door.

“Where are you girls off to?” I asked.

“We have dance classes to get to. You wanna come?” Monique asked.

“Sure, why not? You boys wanna go?” I asked.

“Yeah, why not? It’ll get us out for a while,” Dozer answered.

Trigger and Hulk nodded, and so did Connor and Jackson.

“Come on, angel. You can ride with me so they don’t have to take multiple cars. Just put your bag in the car, and hop on,” Hulk said, smiling to Claire.

“Thanks,” she said, smiling back at him.

“Oh, fuck. Helmet. Anyone got a spare?” Hulk asked.

“Yeah, I do. Hold on,” Trigger replied, then raced off inside and came back holding a helmet, which he handed to Claire.

Hulk helped her put it on, and then he hopped on the bike and held his hand out for her. After helping her onto the bike, Claire wrapped her arms around his waist and snuggled into his back. You could see him as he visibly shook, and he looked at us with a huge smile.

Trigger and Dozer hopped on their bikes while Monique, the kids, and I piled into the car. I ended up driving once again as Monique directed us to the dance studio.

As soon as we entered the studio, Monique said, “All right, guys.

Just make yourself at home—though not too much. Madilyn and I have a beginners’ ballet class. Claire is in the advanced ballet. Then we all have advanced hip-hop. It’s only two hours today.”

After the girls returned from the change room where they got into their dance clothes, Dozer, Trigger, the boys and I all followed Monique and Madilyn to their class while Hulk followed Claire to hers. As we walked into the class, there was excited chatter from about ten little girls, all around five years old. Monique and Madilyn put these slipper things on their feet and walked up to the front of the class.

“Good afternoon, everyone,” Monique said to the group.

“Good afternoon, Miss Monique. Good afternoon, Miss Madilyn,” they all replied back.

It was quite cute watching the kids.

Hearing a commotion at the door, a little girl came in with her mother, who was holding a baby girl who looked around two or so.

“I am so sorry we are late.” The woman looked up and froze.

Holy fuck, it was Dr Jeffreys, and she looked so different.

“Hey, it’s all good. My name is Miss Monique, and this is Miss Madilyn. What’s your name, sweetie?” Monique asked the older girl.

“My name is Kate Jeffreys. This is my mum, Savannah, and my little sister, Cassandra, and she’s two. This is my first ballet lesson in Sydney. I’m six in two weeks,” she said, smiling.

“Well, welcome, Kate. We are going to start with some exercises to make our body all nice and loose so we don’t hurt ourselves, and then we are going to do the basic positions, and then we are going to dance for a bit and have some fun. How does that sound?” Monique asked.

“That sounds really good. I used to have ballet lessons before we moved here from Melbourne last month. I really like ballet,” Kate said excitedly.

“That’s great. Why don’t you go with Miss Madilyn, and she will help you out today. I’m going to have a quick cha
t with your mum, and then I’ll join all of you. Okay?” Monique asked.

  “Okay,” Kate said.

Madilyn walked over and took her hand, and then they walked to the front and started stretching.

“Hi, Dr Jeffreys. How are you today?” Monique asked.

“Please, call me Savannah. I’m really good today, thanks. How are you guys doing? I see you are recovering well, Mr Adams. Any problems with the healing?” she asked me.

“No problems with the healing. I’m all good now, doc—sorry, Savannah. And call me Derrick, please.” I chuckled at the look she just gave me.

“Okay, so Kate said she’s had lessons before. What would you say her ability level is—just to give me an indication,” Monique asked.

“She is intermediate, but every class classification is different. She wanted to start at the beginning and let you evaluate her, so it’s up to you,” Savannah said.

“Not a problem. Well, I’m going to join them, and we’ll see where we are at,” Monique said.

Savannah sat down next to Trigger, and she, Dozer, and Trigger started a conversation. I didn’t hear anything since they were talking too quietly, and my attention was on Monique and Madilyn. The lesson went really quickly, and before I knew it, the class was finished, and the girls returned to us.

“I have to go potty, Mummy,” Cassandra said to Savannah.

Monique pointed in the direction of the toilets, and Savannah smiled and then walked out.

“Miss Madilyn, is Miss Monique your mum? You look just like her. So pretty,” Kate said.

“She is my mum. That’s my dad, and my brothers are the ones who look alike. The other two are my uncles,” Madilyn replied.

“Wow, you have twin brothers. They look just like your dad,” Kate said.

“Would you believe me if I said they are not twins. They are my triplets. I’m the oldest, then it’s Connor, and then Jackson,” Madilyn said, pointing them out.

“Wow. Fraternal triplets. That’s very rare,” Kate said.

Holy fuck, this little girl is fucking smart ass.

“You’re right. How did you know that?” Madilyn asked.

“My mummy is a doctor, and my daddy has brothers that are fraternal triplets. Two are identical, and one’s not. They are not nice men. They hurt my mummy when Daddy died. My daddy was a fireman, and he died in a house fire that he was called on. It was horrible. My daddy and his partner, Uncle Chris—who isn’t really my uncle but my daddy’s best friend—both died. My real uncles are mean, and they hurt my mummy. They put my mummy in the hospital, and my sissy and I had to stay with my nan and pop for a while,” she said.

We heard a gasp, and Savannah was frozen in the doorway. She looked like she was about to drop Cassandra. Trigger and Dozer both jumped up and while Trigger took Cassandra, Dozer helped Savannah sit down. She was pale and looked like she was going to be sick.

Monique knelt down in front of her. “Connor, can you grab a glass of water from the front desk, please.” He jumped up and ran to get it.

“Are you okay?” Monique asked Savannah.

“Yeah, I’m all right. Kate is certainly a talker. I’m sorry. She shouldn’t have said all that,” Savannah replied.

“Are you in some kind of trouble, Savannah?” Monique asked.

“Not now. I got out of there as soon as I recovered. The hospital I was working at is covering for me in case they come looking for me, and Mum and Dad moved here with us. Everyone else is gone.” She hiccupped, and a tear fell down her cheek.

Connor returned with the water and passed it to her.

“Do you mind if Madilyn and the boys take your girls to another room? They have a hip-hop class, and the girls can join them. They will be safe, I promise you,” Monique said.

Savannah nodded her head, and Monique turned her attention to Kate.

“Kate, how would you like to join Miss Madilyn in her next class? She and her brothers have a hip-hop class that you can join if you like. We would like to talk to your mummy for a bit if that’s okay?” Monique asked.

“Is that okay, Mummy? Can I, please?” Kate asked.

When Savannah nodded her permission, all the kids left.

“If you’re having problems, Savannah, we can all help,” Monique said once the kids were gone.

“How? What can you do?” Savannah asked.

“Derrick and his club could help you, and I could help,” Monique replied.

“How can you help me, Monique?”

“Have you ever heard of Henderson Security, Savannah?” Monique asked.

“Yes, I have. They are very well known and did the security at the hospital in Melbourne. Actually, it was one of their guys who found me when I was assaulted. He was so nice. We became good friends, and he practically told me to move here. They also do the security at the hospital I’m working at here. Why do you ask?” Savannah replied.

“Are you talking about Sam Blackwell?” Monique asked.

“Yes, that’s him. How do you know Sam?”

“Henderson Security is my company. I started it with my dad seven years ago. When he died last year, I took over full-time,” Monique answered.

“Oh, wow. Your company is huge,” she said.

“It is, so you can see I can get protection on you,” Monique told her.

“We got it,” Dozer cut in.

  “Thought you might.” Monique smirked.

“Huh, why would you want to do that?” Savannah asked Dozer.

“Because we can’t stand seeing someone who is defenceless get hurt,” Trigger replied.

“And the scenery would be nice.” Dozer chuckled.

“I don’t get it,” Savannah said.

“What don’t you get, honey? You’re gorgeous,” Trigger answered.

“No, that’s not what I meant. I thought you were all together,” Savannah blurted out, then covered her mouth with her hands as her eyes widened.

“What do you mean you thought we were all together, Savannah?” I asked.

“Well, I... um... I mean, I kinda came into the room when you were all... um, you know,” she stammered.

“Oh. Oh. Nah, there’s nothing to worry about there. It was just a bit of fun, nothing serious. Derrick and I are getting married in two weeks,” Monique said, smiling.

“It looked more than serious to me. You guys all look good together.” Savannah smiled back.

“Nah, I love these guys, but not that much. Prez here is my best friend. Yeah, we played around and had fucking fantastic sex afterwards, but it’ll probably never happen again. Call it ticking off the bucket list or something. But Trigger and I have been a couple for a few years now. We are both bisexual, but we wouldn’t be opposed to a woman full-time. We’ve shared plenty of women between us, but something was always lacking,” Dozer said.

“Yeah, I totally agree. Monique is the love of my life. I love these guys, but not that fucking much. One night of a fuck-load of fun and a shitload of sex was awesome but not for a full-time thing.

Monique’s mine, and I won’t ever share her again,” I said.

“I love you, too, honey,” Monique said, leaning toward me, so I kissed her.

  Hmm. Fuck, Monique’s hot.

“Um, okay, Well, I will say you guys are hot.” Savannah chuckled.

“So will you let us watch out for you and those beautiful girls of yours?” Trigger asked.

“Yeah, that would be good. Just as friends, though,” Savannah replied.

“Whatever way you want it, babe. All good,” Dozer said.

“Well, now that’s cleared up, we have to get to the other room. The kids will be nearly finished,” Monique said as she stood and led us out of the room.

We could hear the music and smiled at the scene we walked in on.

Hulk was on his knees in the corner of the room with Cassandra and Kate holding his hands, dancing. He twirled them under his arms and made them spin before coming back, and he had a huge smile on his face.

&
nbsp; Madilyn noticed us and held up her hands to stop the class. “Take five, and then we’ll run from the top with Mum.”

She walked over to us, and looking at Hulk, she smiled as she laughed and shook her head. “The class wanted me to show them the new part, so Hulk said he’d look after the girls. He is so good with them.”

“Sorry about that, baby. We had to sort out some things. Everything is good now,” Monique said.

“No worries, Mum. I knew you’d handle it. All right, so we ran through the new part twice, and they have it down pat. They wanted to run it from the top with you to see if they need improvement. I have some suggestions but will wait until they are finished to tell you. Some are just having problems with certain moves,” she explained.

“No worries, baby. Let’s do it. Okay, guys, excuse me for a while,” Monique said. She gave me a kiss, then walked to the front of the group with Madilyn and yelled, “All right, guys, from the top.”

The kids ran through the dance, then Madilyn and Monique talked and made a few changes, then ran through it again but with music this time.

“Fantastic. That was much better. Well done, guys. We’ll go over the next part in the next lesson. Have a great weekend, and we’ll see you next week,” Monique said.

After thanking Monique and Madilyn, the students grabbed their bags and left.

“Can I have your contact info, Savannah? I’d like to keep in contact if that’s okay with you?” Monique asked.

“Sure is. I’d like to become friends. I don’t have any here,” Savannah said shyly.

“Well, you are a friend now. You won’t be able to get rid of us.” Monique laughed.

After they exchanged numbers, promising to call one another, we headed out, and Monique locked the door. Dozer and Trigger helped Savannah and the girls to her car and told her they would follow her home just to be safe.

Monique, the kids, and I hopped into the car and watched as Hulk rode off with Claire on the back of his bike, and then we followed.

“I think Dozer and Trigger have found their third, but she just doesn’t know it yet. They won’t give up,” I said to Monique.

“I was thinking the same thing,” she replied.
