Kidnapped by the Gentleman
Page 17
The door to the cabin slammed open and Dante came in, his eyes wide. “It happened again, didn’t it?”
“Ugh, yes,” I said. I rolled over onto my side and looked up at him. “Worse than before. It didn’t happen at all like that in London.”
“Perhaps they link you to the ship,” he said, sitting beside me and stroking my forehead with his cool hand. “It could be they’re casting spells that will only work while you’re on the Whore.”
I pulled a face. “Well, I hate that. This ship is where I want to be, but I don’t want any more of those dreams.”
“Perhaps we ought to have got you another witch’s charm in London,” he mused. Then his eyes dropped to my hand, which I had fisted at my side. “What have you got there?”
“What? I don’t have…” But he was right, I had something clutched in my hand. With a growing sense of horror, I slowly unfurled my fingers, revealing a strange thing. It was a crude human form carved out of mahogany, with no facial features. But there was something etched into its back. The symbol seemed to have an eye at the centre and weird curling tendrils coming out symmetrically to each side.
“That’s… it looks like your tattoo,” Dante said, his voice so low I almost couldn’t hear it.

His Piratical Harem
Book one – Cabin Boy
Buy now
I’ve never been what I was supposed to be. Wealthy sons of Port Governors aren’t supposed to be ejected from the British Navy after less than a year, they’re not supposed to like pulp romances or daydream about the handsome heroes of the stories instead of the heroines.
When my Father issued me an order to marry a woman, I knew I had no choice but to make my own way in the world, and I found a berth on the first ship out of Jamaica.
I didn’t mean to join a pirate ship, and I certainly didn’t intend to find myself the cabin boy to an incredibly charming Pirate Captain. Or that I’d also be attracted to the mysterious First Mate, or that both of them would show me all sorts of unspeakable and salacious pleasures while on board. How can I choose just one of them when I want both?
In addition to confusion on board the ship, there’s also enchanting genderfluid merfolk, a cat which seems to understand a lot more than it should, an unseasonable storm and a sea witch with a serious grudge... and with all these complications, I am definitely in over my head.
Come and meet the crew:
Gideon: an innocent with a lot of forbidden desires and a lot of love to give
Tate: a huge, muscular ship’s captain with a sweet side
Ezra: a dominant and closed off first mate
Ora: a genderqueer, curious and affectionate merman

Things were looking good, until the ship's cat became a man...
I didn't mean to join a pirate ship, but now that I'm here, well. Life is pretty good. Between the sexy and intimidating Captain Tate, the mysterious First Mate, Ora the merfolk and now Zeb the ship's cat I'm well entertained.
Rumours abound that the Royal Navy are searching for me at my father's order, and between that, an eventful trip to Tortuga (the famed pirate town) and maintaining the relationships with the crew... I've certainly got my work cut out for me.
Meet the crew:
Gideon: a well bred young man who is discovering his forbidden desires aren't necessarily a problem at sea
Tate: the impressive Captain with a sweet side
Ezra: the controlling and alluring First Mate
Ora: a genderqueer, sweet and mystical merman
Zeb: a cat shifter, who's learning about being human

Book three - Merfolk’s Mate

The British Navy caught up to the Grey Kelpie, and everything I’d built for my life has fallen apart.
Tate and Ezra are headed for the gallows. Ora has disappeared into an unwelcome sea and I have no idea what’s become of the ship’s cat…
It’s up to me to save them, but I’m trapped on the Naval ship, the same as my lovers. If I’m to get us out of here, I’m going to have to use all my wits, and maybe a little magic?
Meet the crew:
Gideon: a well-bred young man discovering a new side of himself
Tate: the sweet Captain with a dark past
Ezra: a dominating First Mate who’s slowly finding his soft side
Ora: a mystical merfolk who understands more than the rest
Zeb: an affectionate cat shifter who knows what he wants
Content warning: some knife and blood play in one scene

I, Gideon Keene, have two big problems.
Two things, well, people, standing between me and my happiness.
One is a vengeful sea witch called Solomon, who has it in for me and my beloved Captain Tate.
The other is my father.
One has found us, the other is hounding us. It’s time to take the battle to them, hold my head high and fight first one, then the other.
But how can a cabin boy, a ship’s cat, a member of the merfolk and two pirates defeat the most powerful sea witch in the Caribbean? Tate betrayed him, badly, years ago and now his furious magic has drawn our ship to his blasted islands.
Assuming we survive, then take on the governor of Jamaica, who is determined to see me married to a nice girl and producing heirs?
This is going to take all the courage I have, all the magic I can summon to me, and the wits and understanding of each of my cherished lovers. Not one of us could do it alone, but maybe… just maybe, we can do it together.
