The Reign of Rain Robinson

“You know what she’s gonna do, right?” Carter asked.
“Walk up and blast them,” Jackie replied.
“Damn right,” Rain said and took out her gun just before she reached the table. She stopped, raised her weapon and shot Wilson in the chest. Jackie stepped up and shot Ford and Carter put one in Bey’s head. Each took one more bullet before the three assassins turned around and left Gravity.
When they got back to J.R.'s, Yarissa reported to Rain that Akilah Malheiros called from the precinct and said that Bautista booked Baby Chris for murder and he would be arraigned on Monday.
“She’s gonna use him to get to me,” Rain said and walked away. She went in her office and slammed the door.
“Guess that means we’re dismissed,” Carter said.
“Guess so,” Jackie said. “I’m tired, so I’ll get with you tomorrow,” she said and left Carter standing in front of Yarissa’s desk looking at her.
“I’ll be in my office,” he finally said and walked away.
When she got home, the house was silent and in darkness. Jackie kicked out of her heels and went upstairs to her bedroom expecting to find Travis and Fiona either asleep or having sex. The way she was feeling, either one would be good. “As long as I’m laying down.”
But when she opened the door, she was surprised to see Fiona sleeping alone. Jackie stood there, looking at Fiona’s round breasts peeking out from under the black comforter. While she took off her black Akris Punto wave shoulder dress, her clit began to throb from just the thought of Fiona’s soft lips sucking and nibbling on her.
When Jackie pulled back the comforter and got in bed with Fiona, she moaned low and began to stir. Jackie’s hand traveled up Fiona’s thigh and her fingers eased inside Fiona.
“You are always so wet,” Jackie whispered.
“Always wet for you,” Fiona whispered as Jackie kissed her lips gently.
Fiona leaned into Jackie’s neck, kissing it, suckling it and her pretty titties were in Jackie’s hands. She squeezed them together, lavished her pebbled flesh, first one and then the other until her nipples were hard and begging for Jackie’s warm mouth. The sensation was intense.
“Let me taste you,” Fiona said and crawl between Jackie’s thighs.
The tight circles Fiona licked around her swollen clit felt magnificent. She parted Jackie’s lips, licking and sucking, sliding her fingers in and out of Jackie, making her toes curl as Fiona’s wet tongue flickered back and forth across her clit.
Jackie screamed. “Oh, shit!”
“Is there any left,” Travis asked taking off his shirt.
“I tried to take it all,” Fiona said playfully.
She sat up on the bed and helped Travis unbuckle his pants. Then she stood up to finish undressing Travis as he looked down at Jackie with her legs in the air, squeezing her nipple while easing two fingers in and out of her wetness. Once he was naked Fiona led Travis to the edge of the bed, leaned forward and ran her tongue along the side of his dick.
“Lay down, Fiona,” Travis said, and he crawled up on the bed as Fiona laid down. He straddled her body and she took him deep in her throat. Jackie eased between Fiona's legs, spread her lips gently and began to massage her clit. Jackie moistened two fingers and then she slid them in her warmth and zoned in on Fiona's spot. Fiona began thrusting her body into Jackie and soon she was screaming because Jackie was hitting it just right.
Travis looked at Jackie’s ass in the air and moved in behind her. He pulled her hips up and entered her in one long thrust.
“You are so fuckin’ wet,” Travis said and increased his pace.
“I got her like that for you,” Fiona said squeezing her nipples until her body started to tremble and she came again.
Travis was pounding away furiously in Jackie’s juicy pussy, squeezing her cheeks and she was slamming her body into his.
“Fuck me, fuck me!” Jackie chanted, and he fucked her harder.
Staring into Fiona’s eyes was driving him crazy as she kept mouthing the words, fuck her, Travis, fuck her, Travis, over and over and he kept slamming his dick in Jackie until he brought her to a gut-wrenching orgasm. And when Jackie screamed, so did Fiona. Jackie rolled from between her legs.
“I want you inside me now, Travis,” Fiona said, and he moved toward her quickly. She began gliding her hands along his erection and guided him into her wet and wanting pussy.
Fiona cried out as his hard thickness stretched her. She moaned her pleasure as Travis thrusted deep inside her and she brought her hips off the bed to meet every stroke. The hard, but sensual rhythm had Fiona screaming and cumming all over his dick and Travis was cumming right along with her. And in no time, all three were asleep.
The sun was just about to break as four men entered the house and began moving toward the bedrooms on the third story. In the dimly lit halls, it was a bit hard to see and one of the would-be assassins bumped into a wall.
“Shhh.”
But it was too late, the sound had awakened Fiona and she sat up in bed. When she heard what sounded like footsteps, she quickly shook Travis.
“What?”
“I think there’s somebody in here,” Fiona whispered.
“Jackie,” Travis said hearing the noise.
“What?”
“Somebody is in here,” Travis said, got out of bed and put his pants on.
“What?” Jackie asked again.
“Somebody is in here,” Fiona said as Travis armed himself and Jackie got out of bed, looking at the clock.
“They cut the power,” she said and quickly picked up the dress she was wearing, and she armed herself.
“Stay here, Fiona.” Travis handed her a gun. “Shoot anybody who comes through that door.”
“We’ll yell before we come in,” Jackie said, and Fiona watched them leave the room thinking that this was the second time that they had handed her a gun and left her, so she needed to learn how to really use it.
“Night vision goggles?” Travis asked.
“Downstairs,” Jackie replied as they inched along the wall slowly.
“Good place for them.”
“What you wanna do?” Jackie asked.
“What you mean?”
“You wanna go after them or you wanna wait for them to come to us. ’Cause they’re coming.”
“I would rather be on offense than defense,” Travis said and heard movement.
“We take it to them,” Jackie said and started down the stairs to engage their intruders. When they made it to the second level, Travis moved to one side of the staircase, while Jackie moved to the other.
She looked in the living room and saw that her purse was on the coffee table and remembered that she had a concussion grenade in there.
“Cover me,” Jackie said and moved out.
Travis maintained his position against the wall until Jackie got back. She handed him a pair of noise reducing earplugs.
“Now we wait,” Jackie said, and they put them in.
It didn’t take long for all four intruders to make it to the second level and assemble in the living room. Travis signaled to Jackie that he was going to move around to the other side, so they could get them in a crossfire.
“How will I know when you’re set?”
“I don’t know,” Travis said. “You’ll just know,” he said and moved out.
When Jackie figured that he had enough time to get set, she tossed the grenade in the living room. Her and Travis covered their eyes as the sudden flash of light and loud noise distracted the men. Before they could react, Jackie opened fire. She hit two of them with shots to their chests and then one apiece to the head.
The other two men turned away from the shooting and tried to leave the living room the way they came in, but Travis was there waiting. He hit the first man that came toward him with multiple shots to the head and chest. Then he turned to the second man, fired two more shots and hit him in the back as he ran.
Chapter Twenty
> “She’s gonna use him to get to me!” Rain said.
“Guess that means we’re dismissed,” Carter said as she went in her office and slammed the door earlier that same evening.
“Guess so. I’m tired, so I’ll get with you tomorrow,” Jackie said before she left J.R.'s., leaving Carter standing in front of Yarissa’s desk. He stood there for a while looking at her.
“I’ll be in my office,” he finally said and walked away.
It was a thinly veiled invitation for her to join him in the office to fuck. A half hour later when Yarissa hadn’t shown, Carter assumed that she either didn’t catch the hint or she didn’t want to fuck. Either way, he was tired, and he was going home.
When he came out of the office, Carter could hear voices and then laughter. As he got closer, he could tell that the voice belonged to Rain, and Yarissa was the one who was laughing. And for Carter, that explained why she didn’t accept his invitation.
Yarissa always wants to fuck, Carter laughed and rounded the corner, but the first person he saw was Mileena. Although he had been in and out of J.R.'s damn near every day, this was the first time that he had seen her in a while.
J.R.'s was her house.
Carter may be a captain in The Family, but the people that worked at J.R.'s, they were her people. She was their captain and they were loyal to her. Especially her security team. Therefore, any time Carter set foot in the club, Mileena knew about it and she knew exactly where he was at all times.
Like all their properties, every inch of J.R.'s was covered by cameras. Those cameras were manned by Latresia Alison. Anytime Carter got too close to her, she was in her ear to let Mileena know how many feet away Carter was.
So, Mileena knew that if she went up there that there was a chance she’d see him. She called Yarissa and she said that Carter was in his office. But she needed to talk to Rain about a situation that had occurred in the gambling room, so up she went.
Carter stood there looking at Mileena in the tight black jeans, heels and the J.R.'s T-shirt she was wearing.
And yeah, she was wearing the shit out of it.
“Hello, Mileena.”
She looked at Carter for what seemed like a long time … but actually wasn’t. And then Mileena walked off without speaking.
Rain laughed and went back in her office. Carter looked at Yarissa.
“Sorry,” he said and went after Mileena.
He ran down the stairs and caught her just as she was about to go back into the club.
“Mileena … Mileena, wait!”
Mileena stopped, turned around, folded her arms across her chest and waited for him to get there. When Carter got to her, she just looked at him. She didn’t want to admit it to herself and definitely not to him, but she missed Carter, and she wanted him. But since she knew that a relationship with Carter would only cause her more hurt and pain, Mileena exhaled and said nothing.
“You could at least say hello.”
“Hello, Carter,” she said, turned and went out in the club.
“Fuck!”
He understood plainly that he had fucked up with Mileena. It may not have been entirely his fault, but that was where he found himself. But he knew that was the lie that men tell themselves when they fuck up and basically force women to leave them. The truth was he should have never tried to get back together with her. He knew that he could never be the kind of man that Mileena wanted or needed in her life.
He couldn’t, it just wasn’t in him. And now he had made matters worse. It was bad enough that he was fucking Fantasy and Glenda, but if Mileena knew what he was doing with Yarissa, she would be crushed. At times he wondered why, other than the obvious, Yarissa is fine, and I’ve wanted to fuck her for years, why was he fucking her. He would examine the reasoning behind that some other time.
Now he had a decision to make. Carter had to decide whether he was going to let it go, because he was the only one that had the power to either end it, or make it work for her and run the risk of continuing to hurt her.
“Fuck it,” he said, hit the door and went out in the club. He looked around until he spotted her and then a determined Carter went after her.
“Carter Garrison twenty feet behind you and closing fast,” Latresia advised.
Mileena stopped and turned around. “What do you want, Carter?”
“I want to talk to you.”
“About what?”
Carter stepped closer. “How are you, Mileena?”
“I’m fine.” She stepped back, because she didn’t want and certainly didn’t need to be that closed to him. “What else do you have to talk about?”
“I just wanna talk.”
“You and I have nothing to talk about,” Mileena said and went behind the bar. Carter stood there anxiously and watched Mileena take out her keys and check the register. A member of security stepped up behind Carter.
“Excuse me, Mr. Garrison, I’m sorry but I am going to have to ask you to take a step back. You cannot block this area.”
Carter looked over his shoulder and saw that two members of security were standing behind him. He nodded his head and took a step back. The second he did, Mileena stopped what she was doing with the register and came from behind the bar.
“Mileena, wait.”
But Mileena kept going, making her way through the club, with Carter and security behind her. He looked over his shoulder and saw them.
At least they sent two of them, he thought as Mileena went behind another bar.
Carter stopped, turned and looked at the two members of security. He stepped to one’s chest.
“Are you two following me?”
“No, sir. We are following Mileena. It is our job to follow her when she makes her rounds just in case she decides to pull money.”
Carter nodded his head. “Good. I’m going to talk to Mileena.” He pointed at them. “Either of you got a problem with that?”
“No, sir,” one said.
“No, Mr. Garrison. No problem at all,” the one other said and took a step back.
“I didn’t think so.”
This time Carter waited until Mileena came from behind the bar and then he blocked her path.
“Why won’t you talk to me?”
“I told you, we have nothing to talk about.”
“Yes, we do.”
“What? What do we have to talk about?”
“We need to talk about us.”
“There is no us,” Mileena said, spun on her heels and walked away and Carter was right behind her. He caught up and walked alongside her, trying to talk to her, but he could barely hear himself talk over the music, so he gave that up. When she went in the restaurant in J.R.'s, he followed her in. Since the area was designed for conversation, the music wasn’t as loud.
“Please, Mileena. Stop for a second and please just talk to me.”
“And I keep asking you, what do you have to say to me Carter?”
“I miss you,” Carter said, and she remained silent. Even though she wanted it to be over so she could put it behind her and move on with her life, there was a part of Mileena that was glad that he missed her too. And he looked so damn good in that suit.
“I want to talk to you, find a way to make this work. I wanna see you, spend some time with you.”
“You don’t have time for me, Carter Garrison.” Mileena got in his face. “You’re too busy fucking Fantasy! Why don’t you go fuck that bitch!” she shouted, and it got the attention of the customers in the restaurant.
“I am not fucking Fantasy,” Carter lied, more out of reflex than anything else. “I haven’t even seen her lately.
And he hadn’t, and Mileena had her loyal friend Mercedes to thank for it. When Mileena told her about the breakup, she told Mercedes about Fantasy and the way she would always position herself to bait Carter. Mileena had no idea that she would mention it to Jada, but as soon as she heard about it, Mercedes knew what she needed to do.
“Yes, you are. I saw you leaving
with her right after you talked to me. You walked right up to her, grabbed her hand and you fucked her! Why do you wanna stand there and lie about it!” Mileena yelled and stormed off and left the restaurant.
Anytime she thought about Fantasy, it made her sick to her stomach and hurt her heart. She went behind the nearest bar, grabbed a bottle of Absolut Blue Sequin Vodka, poured a glass and drank it down. Then she poured another one and shot that one too.
Once again, Mileena came from behind the bar and walked passed Carter. “Mileena, wait!”
But she kept going; straight to her office, told Demi that she was leaving, grabbed her stuff and left the club with Carter still in pursuit. He caught up with her before she got to her car.
“Yeah, okay, I fucked Fantasy,” he admitted walking beside her. “I was mad at you after we fought. But she means nothing to me. I love you.”
“If I had really meant something to you, you wouldn’t have fucked her. But you did,” Mileena said when she got to her car. She turned and got in his face. “You fucked her. How could you do that to us?”
“I’m sorry, Mileena. I never meant to do anything to hurt you. I love you.”
Mileena shook her head because love didn’t matter, not anymore. It used to mean everything, but now, they were just words he was speaking that never were true. She stepped back a little.
“What do you want from me?”
“You,” Carter said calmly. “All I’ve ever wanted is you,” he said and took a step closer. “I love you, Mileena. I’ve been miserable without you.”
“I love you too,” she said and was about to tell him that love didn’t matter anymore, but he cut her off.
“That’s why we need to stop fighting with each other and talk,” Carter said and Mileena unlocked her door.
“You don’t love me, Carter. You never really did. You couldn’t have. If you had we wouldn’t be where we are right now.”
“Don’t do this to us, please.”
“Goodbye, Carter. Please stop trying to reach out to me. It’s over between us.” Mileena opened her car door and got in. “I’m sorry,” she said closed her door and drove off.
As Carter watched Mileena drive away, it was as if she had taken everything that he was with her.
