‘That’d be great.’ Daisy swung her legs out over the bed and sat still for a minute to let the spinning in her head settle down.
‘Knowing my super-efficient brother you’ll find clean towels and anything else you need all there ready. I’ll leave you to it and see if he can rustle me up some coffee.’ Sky disappeared off to plague Nathaniel again.
Daisy took small steps and made her way into the bathroom. She’d guess no germ would dare set up residence here. Fluffy towels, so white they dazzled her sore eyes, hung on a heated rail and her newly-immaculate colourful clothes looked incongruous hanging on the back of the door. A smile crept over her face as she touched the small arrangement of toiletries on the marble counter.
She broke the seal on a brand-new toothbrush and squeezed out a blob of toothpaste, wondering if she dared to spit in the gleaming sink.
Daisy decided to be reckless and proceeded to wreak havoc on his bathroom.
