I closed my eyes as his lips moved closer to mine. My heart danced when he spoke, “I love you,” before he let his lips touch mine.
The cheers and the claps echoed around us as we took our first kiss as husband and wife. I looked around the guest ranch. Three months ago, I was a trespasser here and yet today, I am the boss’s wife.
No. I did not marry Austin on the same day he proposed. He only took me to the wedding venue to make his own proposal. Every girl has their special dream wedding and Austin wanted me to have mine.
Yes. There were still days when Steven and Rima did not get any sleep because of us. I could not get enough of Austin calling my real name. Steven even vowed to move out of the house after the wedding because of our screams.
My dream wedding took three months to prepare. Everything was according to how I’d dreamed it to be. All our friends and families were there. Austin did not wish for any media coverage, but we were the story of the year and media companies still covered our wedding.
I got to wear a beautiful sequined white gown. My veil was attached to a gorgeously-designed cowgirl’s hat. I always dreamt of marrying a man in a white tux and a cowboy hat. Austin looked gorgeous like that. My dream wedding was almost perfect except for one life-changing event.
I walked down the aisle while being three months pregnant, which explained my flat cowboy boots under my wedding gown. That change made my dream wedding even better.
I caressed Austin’s face and kissed him passionately before he could pull away from me. The guests laughed at my aggressiveness, but I didn’t care. Austin was my husband and I could kiss him any time I wanted. I will kiss him and only him in this lifetime.
