I stayed crumpled on the concrete path as they left me for dead.

  …

“The child is fate and fate is the child,” said a future-teller as all the other future-tellers repeated her words. The room echoing with emotionless voices.

“The child is power and power is the child.” The old future-teller pulled a knife from the desk and drew blood from his finger, drawing a picture on both children's foreheads, a symbol.

“Praise to the new prowess, who leads the night, striking evil and killing enemies. Here is the new symbol. Symbol of her faith, her hope, her beauty and her elegance. With each drop of blood shall that reach higher standards.”

  …

I awoke tasting blood in my mouth. Remembering what had happened earlier when the henchmen left me for dead. I had to reach the closest hospital and I had to do it quick. Slowly, I staggered to the street crossing only to faint again...

  6.

  Iriami Duvua

I awoke to the smell of a hospital, the usual antiseptic smells. However, there was another smell much more beautiful than perfume or deodorant or even fragrances. It was my favourite kinds of roses, Blacks and Whites. I sniffed them slowly taking in the smelling fragrance.

I looked around to find Richzu and his son, who called himself Iriami, like the one in fate. I smiled at them, and they smiled back sadly. The nurse came rushing in. Checking up on me, I could only guess.

“Um, miss. Can I borrow a mirror,” I asked. She looked at me and handed down a mirror.

  I looked into it...

I had scratches, bruises and scars all over me, but they were slowly disappearing, which was painful but great and would let the healing process settle in quicker. I looked at myself, focusing on different parts of my face. Something was different. Was it my full lips? The well-cleaned face? The well-plucked eyebrows? No, it wasn't. It was my eye colour. It had changed to a midnight blue, with purple and green and blue and red mixed in; even a little bit of grey was added. Great, I thought, now I look like some space alien from another planet.

  Five days later...

I was told I was to live with Iriami and Richzu Duvua until I was ready to leave but something told me they didn't want me to leave and would force me to stay...

Iriami looked at Wisty. Her beauty, her suffering, her everything added up and he was going to stop her from suffering more. Only he, only Iriami. Iriami slowly walked past the spare room where Wisty was sound asleep. Only he could save her from her suffering and maybe she could be his... but let's just keep that a secret for now.

Slowly, he opened the door and found Wisty was awake.

“Are you feeling any better?” Iriami asked. Wisty nodded.

I looked at Iriami. He was so cute... so caring... so ... so mine! I cried out in my mind. I smiled at him. Iriami walked over to the window and drew the curtains open. God, it's so bright. It was too bright. I fell over blinded by... I don't know what it was. Then the light dimmed and suddenly, I didn't want the brightness to die down.

I peeked over the bed to find that it hadn't been the sun but Iriami. Iriami had glowed, glowed like an angel. I smiled and this time, the smile reached my eyes. He was mine...all mine. Iriami was an angel, a guardian angel, my guardian angel.

  7.

  No Last Hopes

“You mustn’t tell anyone who I am...or what I am. Promise?” Iriami asked. I nodded.

“Promise,” I said, pinky promising. He's my guardian angel...he's my guardian...he's my angel...Does his father know about this? I quickly walked out of the spare room, my permanent room. I never had my own room, but I never really cared about having my own room... until now.

I walked into the hall and started descending the steps when my eyes became blurry again. Oh no...Please don't...not now...why me...I don't want to foresee everything...why can’t something be a surprise? I blacked out, falling down the stairs but feeling nothing…

  …

I walk through the basement of an old rickety house, clad in blue and green armour of light steel. Holding hands with someone with wings…Someone with wings? We keep walking, until our enemy appears at the far corner, waiting, lurking...Waiting for what? I did not know. We let go of each other’s hands and prepared to fight the enemy in battle stances. The angel grabs a big sword while I have my mega-sized gun with the signature Witsy Deathly-Rose...my real name. I brand my gun and I'm ready with spare ammunition...The enemy walks out of the shadows and reveals to be Avalle, I drop my gun...Why the hell would Avalle do such a thing? She couldn't even hit me even if she tried, she couldn’t even hurt a fly. In that very moment, I was unconscious.

  …

I awoke tangled and badly injured, at the bottom of the steps...You klutz, I thought...falling down the stairs...in a foreseeing. Shouldn’t even be near the stairs in a foreseeing, I thought. I looked up to find another girl called Sunama. She smiled behind me and as I turned around I realize its Iriami she was smiling at... Iriami's mine... no, it's not your fault. Iriami did this... You’re no klutz ... He's one sly bloody dog. I slowly pulled myself up and walked past Sunama. All that time... I liked him... he was with someone else… what the heck? I have to get out of here.

Sunama, that cow! I quickly walked through the library room untill I reached the front door. The front door was blocked by Richzu. Richzu... No! I can't be stuck here! I have to go... I have to run... I have to find Avalle. And finish her once and for all. I saw the closest window and smashed it with my knuckles... the pain is fine...it's what you need... It's better to feel pain... then have help… at least you know you’re still alive. What I didn't realize was that this wasn't a two story house and I was falling to the depths of death. Screaming my heart out, I remembered all the evil things that had happened to me. Both past, memory and future.

  …

Staying at Arue's house... My stupid fake parents forcing me to marry... My fake father and Arue drugging me... Being kidnapped into another family that really didn’t care... My last name was changed... Taken away from a perfectly good family... My life being taken away from me...I was being hunted by my fake father's finest henchmen... I had changed, inhuman, alien... I had a guardian angel that was cheating on me... I had met my guardian angel’s girlfriend... They’re trying to lock me up in their house... Why would they do that?

  …

I suddenly wanted to die, I wanted to fall and die. Nothing was good in my life; everything was taken away... Why me? Why now? Why can't I have a normal life?

Slowly, I opened my eyes and let the air suffocate me and eat me as I fell, fell to the bottom of depression and to the bottom of the fall.

Let me fall to my fated death... let me die peacefully... let me be free of this world... let me be free of my pain... let me be free of my memories of suffering... LET ME BE FREE OF MY OWN FATE!!!

It was too late to save myself from dying and slowly I closed my eyes with pleasure.

  Heaven

I awoke dreamily to a very bright place. When someone I wanted to leave forever…appeared before me. I immediately felt overtaken by absolute nervousness. His name was Iriami Duvua and he was staring at me with pure anger flaming in his eyes, I ran for it…not knowing where to go…just anywhere. I had to leave him, somehow and be free. My nightmares couldn't haunt me in death, could they?

I looked over my shoulder, and Iriami was right behind me.

“You can't run, nor hide here, in Heaven. You don't belong here. You are fated to live just like me, you cannot run from me, and I cannot run from you,” Iriami said.

“You say that like it's a problem,” I rudely replied, “But you don't... you don't understand problems... you'll never understand...
your an angel for Christ sake.”

“I want to die. None of you cared. It was all there at your house, the proof,” I cried out. I don't want you... I don't want that old life anymore... I don’t want to be wanted by anyone... I WANT TO LIVE IN PEACE!!! I felt like yelling in his face, but I didn't because I knew it’d come back and bite me on the ass. My vision began to blur and I knew I'd have another Foreseeing.

  …

I am walking upon a dark alleyway, somewhere far away and foreign. I am alive, but different...changed. I feel like fate, power and vengeance were on my side as I hunted the greatest enemy, Sunama...Go me! I walked across the roofs letting darkness seep through me, letting night guide me to my target, to Sunama, to the evil witch who had spoiled everything. I vanished into the night. Appearing beside Sunama and her friends, I pulled out my gun quickly and was ready to shoot when one of them put his hand over his mouth in shock and cried, “Don't shoot us. We are your real parents.”

  …

I wanted to belong somewhere... to be loved by someone... to feel welcome... to know that I had a friend who wouldn’t backstab me when they wanted something... or turn against me. Iriami sighed, clicking his gloved fingers and instantly bright lights blinded my eyes. I awoke to the same antiseptic smell, a hospital.

“Nooooooooo,” I cried. My peace... my only place to surrender... my only place to hide...gone.
