Our Love Story: An MMFMM Romance

I close my eyes, listening to the cries of the sea birds, listening to the beating of my own heart and Enzo’s heart and knowing that even if the next part is hard—I won’t be alone in it.
Chapter 29
Ethan
Tahiti was a clusterfuck all the way around. There’s no way I can spin it, otherwise. We got some decent footage at a waterfall and when we did the skydive with the ocean in the back ground, but the tension was high and I wish the guys realized I am the one carrying a hell of a lot of it.
When we started our MeTube channel we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. And that was fine, we only had ourselves to worry about—but now we have to consider Chloe in all of our plans.
And thank God for that. She’s a gift that fell from fucking heaven. An angel I sure as hell don’t deserve, but she also needs some sense of stability. Fucking life insurance and a place to call home. We can’t give her that if we fuck things up with our sponsor.
And I am the lead point of contact when it comes to business.
I never resented it before, but while Noah and Mason fuck around on the PlayStation and Enzo books spa days for him and Chloe—I’m sorting through bills, getting us plane tickets, booking us hotels.
And it’s a fucking grind.
When we board the private plane headed to LA, I know I have to rally the guys to talk business. Sure, we’ve decided about what events we are going to compete in, and Drew Riley will be at our oceanfront house when we land, but we need to talk finances. Which events we want to appear at over the next six months, we need to make a fucking schedule.
When we’re high in the sky, I try to get them to talk it out.
“Dude, can we do that after the ExSports?” Noah asks, grabbing a coconut water for himself. He sits down in an armchair, smacking Chloe’s ass playfully as he passes her.
“No, we can’t. The ExSports are a week long. What are we doing after? We planned on being in Tahiti for six weeks. I propose we return to Tahiti and…”
“Can we just play it by ear?” Mason asks. “I might need longer to recover.”
“Might?” Chloe furrows her brows. “Mason, you’ll have six weeks of physical therapy.”
Mason rubs his eyes with his fingers, hating his reality. And I get it. A week after we were told we had to show up at the ExSports, Mason is finally able to move around in a wheelchair and is no longer bedridden, but we all know it’s killing him.
“Okay, so do we want to stay in LA for two months? I got the beach house for two weeks, so if I need to change the reservation I need to do that, asap.”
“Can you just lighten up for like a few hours, Ethan?” Enzo asks. He’s standing behind Chloe, rubbing her shoulders.
“You think I want to be in the fucking driver’s seat?” I shake my head, pissed. “I want to be fucking around, working on video footage, be outside—instead I’m booking Airbnbs and fucking reserving our planes.”
“Whoa, dude, we get it,” Noah says raising his hands in defense.
“No, I don’t think you do.” I run my hands through my hair. “I need a breather, okay?” I step away from them and head down the hall to the private bedroom. Pulling the door shut I fall face-down on the bed. I may be the person taking all this shit on, but it’s not easy. I’m not a businessman. I love to be outside, feeling the fresh air and the exhilaration of playing hard. Not holed up with a laptop balancing the fucking budget.
The door opens and I lift my head, seeing Chloe slip inside, shutting the door behind her.
“So...,” she starts. “That was intense.”
“That’s a nice way of saying I fucking lost my cool.”
Chloe lays down next to me in the bed. We face one another, and she rests her head on her arm. She pushes hair from my face and our eyes lock. In that moment I forget the guys, the ExSports, Drew Riley, all of it. All I think is: I love this woman so fucking hard.
Her touch, her eyes, her body so close to mine. It’s more than I ever expected for myself. But here she is.
“You hold too much in right here,” she whispers, patting my chest.
“Are you really one to talk about that?” I ask, pulling her closer.
“Touché.” She laughs softly. “Enzo tells me just because some people have let me down, it doesn’t mean everyone will.”
She sees to the heart of things so damn fast. “If I ask the guys for help, they will agree, with good intentions. They aren’t assholes, they are the best guys in the mother fucking world—but I know them. Something will get screwed up with the reservations, something will be messed up with a rental. And then what? We fail you.”
Chloe frowns. “You realize you are assuming the worst about them, don’t you?”
“It’s a lot of spinning plates. And what happens if I drop one?”
“But Ethan, aren’t you tired of taking care of everything? Aren’t you tired of being the one who solves all the problems? Fixes all the mess ups? Aren’t you tired of doing it all on your own?”
“Who else is going to step up?”
“I don’t know,” she says. “But if you don’t ask, no one can have the chance to offer. You call these business meetings, but it is really you just telling everyone what to do.”
“No one wants to help…”
Chloe cuts me off, her finger pressing against my lips. “No more excuses, Ethan.”
I raise an eyebrow. This woman has no problem calling any of us on our shit. And damn, I fucking love that about her.
“I don’t want to mess anything up, Chloe, and fuck things up for you. I want to make sure we give you the security in life you’ve never had before but deserve.”
Tears gather in Chloe’s bright blue eyes. “Oh, Ethan,” she says, wrapping her arms around me, pressing her body against mine. So close she can feel how hard I am for her, so close I feel her hard nipples, her desire nearly dripping from her skin. “I don’t deserve a man like you. You are so good to me.”
“I love you, Chloe.”
“I love you too, Ethan, but you don’t need to worry so much. Just being here with you guys is the only security I need. Heck, I went to college for accounting. I know how to take care of myself if needed. I can contribute. You aren’t responsible for taking care of all of us.”
I kiss her, hard. Our mouths open just like our hearts. Her body moving against mine with a feverish desire. Her hands run through my hair, my hands run over her body, needing her stripped to nothing, needing her legs to part and pussy bare. Needing to press my length deep inside of her, exactly where we both are desperate for me to be.
I hold her face with both hands. “I want you to have more than you’ve had, Chloe. I want to give you the world.”
As my cock presses inside her, our foreheads touch, our bodies collide.
“I don’t need the world. I just need you. I need my four men.”
We come together, my cock thrusting into her until she is spent, until my come fills her core, until we forget the pain we’ve seen and we come, remembering this moment, the one right here.
The moment where the world disappears and all we are left with is one another.
Chapter 30
Chloe
The beach house Ethan found for us, is only a few blocks from where the ExSports are held, right in Santa Monica. It’s gorgeous, all bright white, modern, and the sort of house you see in Architectural Digest. I am so freaking far from the shitty college dorms of last year I can’t quite believe it.
There are two rooms on the main floor for Mason, and I drop my bags there too.
“When Amy gets here, she can have the other main floor room,” Mason says, wheeling toward me. His arms are so strong, and as he wheels around they flex, turning me on so much. I miss Mason’s body, his caring and tender way about him. He is a generous lover, always wanting to take care of me and loving to watch as I take care of myself.
I remember being in Jamaica with him. How I spread my legs on the beach before we ever slept together.
How I fingered myself until I came, with him watching. I bit my bottom lip, thinking I ought to give him that show tonight, knowing he’d love it and it might make him hate his situation a little less.
“What are you smiling about, baby?” he asks, his hands reaching for my waist. I lean down and kiss him, his warm lips so inviting.
“I was thinking about you and me having a little fun tonight.”
He frowns. “Amy’s coming in around ten tonight. I’m guessing we’ll be busy.”
I lift an eyebrow. “Then no time like the present.”
But before Mason can answer, a representative from Black Bull is here, with a camera crew, ready for a photo shoot. Apparently, Mason’s injury has gotten enough online press that their fans want an inside story on what happened that day. I’d forgotten all about it, or rather, had been telling myself that it wasn’t actually going to happen.
The idea of being on camera terrified me. And all eyes would be on all five of us as we replayed the details of the day.
Of course, we’d leave out the part where all five of us had planned an afternoon orgy post picnic.
“Is this really happening?” I ask as Mason grabs my hand.
“You’ll be perfect.”
“Where is Chloe?” the Black Bull lady asks as make-up artists and camera men begin setting up all around the beautiful home.
“I’m Chloe,” I say, as Mason and I make our way into the open living room. The other guys smile widely at me when I enter. I feel their attention and love wrap around me like a blanket. I swear that today I won’t get insecure or defensive. I am in love with the four greatest men the world has ever known and they love me back.
I have nothing to be ashamed of.
“Great,” the woman says, looking me up and down. “I’m Deb, and you’ll need to see Tamara and Denise about what you’ll be wearing. They have a Black Bull sundress that should work.”
I shrug, having no reason to say no. “Sounds great. Whatever I can do to make today as painless as possible for the guys.” I smile warmly and Ethan’s eyes meet mine—they say Thank you. I’m reminded of how stressed he’s been over this entire event. I want to do everything in my power to make today wonderful for him. For all of them.
“Oh, thank God,” Deb says. “I was scared you’d be some diva fighting for the attention of one of these guys.”
I smile softly, mostly to myself. Knowing I am not fighting for anything when it comes to the love of the men before me. My heart has been split in four and multiplied that many times as well.
“Drew is in the house!” A booming voice announces from the door.
I look over at Mason, his jaw is clenched, and his eyes are steel. If Deb was hoping to avoid drama, it isn’t me she needed to be worried about.
Drew Riley walks in wearing a button-down shirt, undone, with surf shorts and flip flops. Long blond sun-bleached hair bouncing as he walks. Literally, bouncing.
“What’s up, my boys?” he asks, walking around and offering fist bumps. I’m impressed with the way the guys rally, making a genuine effort to make this work, so Deb doesn’t sense the hostility in the room and reconsider Black Bull’s partnership with them.
But I feel it and it’s heavy.
Wanting to smooth things out, I offer Drew my hand to shake. “Hi, I’m with the guys, I’m Chloe Brunner.”
“Chloe, pleased to meet you,” Drew says taking my hand and kissing the top of it. I smile tightly, pulling my hand away. He just smiles and laughs. “Are you like an extreme sports groupie or something? I heard you were in Jamaica and Tahiti. Or are you their assistant.”
He uses air quotes when he says assistant and I want to punch him in the face.
Noah steps forward and interjects. “She’s our—” He pauses, swallows. This was the exact thing I was worried about.
What am I? But the seconds tick by and it is growing increasingly awkward.
“I’m a groupie,” I say, not wanting to bring attention to anything besides the ExSports event that means so much to the guys. “Pretty obsessed, actually, so when we met in Jamaica, I was over the moon.”
I smile widely, not caring if everyone in this room assumes that I’m sleeping around with the guys. The truth is—I am. And I’d rather that be the story than something that people wouldn’t understand.
That this is a real relationship. That this is real love.
People seem to understand women who sleep around more than they’d understand whatever we are.
Drew smiles. “Well, lucky me, I’m sure glad I’ll be here all week then.”
Deb scowls. “Can we please at least pretend to acknowledge the Black Bull policies?”
“Of course,” Ethan says stepping in. “Let’s go to the dining room and finish the paperwork you emailed about?”
Ethan leaves with her, and Noah shows Drew his room. Enzo goes to change into clothes with the Black Bull logo.
I’m left with Mason. “You want to talk about him?” Our conversation about messing around suddenly seems like years ago.
“It’s bullshit. He’s a player. That’s it.”
I kneel in front of him, taking his hands in mine. Our foreheads pressed together.
“But your ex and him... It seems like worth talking through.”
Mason shrugs. “Trista and I only dated two months. We’d never slept together. But it was exclusive. And then Drew showed up at the event in Miami. He made a move, she went for it.” Mason smirks. “Trista showed her true colors, lying about it, but I saw them with my own eyes. We weren’t very serious so I moved on, but I can’t shake the way I think of Drew.”
“That makes sense.” I press my lips to his, kissing him without restraint. Wishing like hell I could straddle him in this chair and ride him into the sunset. God, I miss being filled by him.
“I hate he’s on this team, but you being here makes it all so much better.”
I kiss him again, this time threading my fingers through his hair, my mouth parting and our tongues colliding.
“Ahem,” Deb coughs loudly. “Is this what you call groupie behavior?”
Mason pulls back, grinning at me. “No, this is what I call love.”
I bite back my smile, loving how open he is with those words.
Truth is, I call this love too.
Chapter 31
Chloe
The interview takes forever to get started. They put so much makeup on me, dress me in a tight little “sport” dress, and take the angle of love when asking the group questions.
It’s awkward and the guys and I quickly discuss our relationship status before the interview starts—after Mason and me were caught kissing.
“You two need to be a couple now, and we’ll go along with it,” Ethan says. “I know you didn’t want to do that, Chloe, but it will keep questions at bay. I know you aren’t ready to go public yet.”
I can tell this kills Noah. He has told me countless times how proud he is of being mine, and same with Enzo. But I appreciate Ethan’s suggestion. Acting like I’m in an exclusive relationship with Mason will help keep attention off of us until we decide how we want to proceed. Well, until I decide. I’m the one who is scared of other people’s opinions.
“Fine, but that doesn’t mean I won’t be bringing her to bed with me,” Noah says.
I smile and give Noah a quick kiss. “We just need to be discreet. And Ethan’s right. Black Bull crews will be around all week and Drew and Amy will be here.”
Enzo groans. “This is torture. You know, Ethan, how on the plane you were asking where we should head next? I vote for a cabin in the middle of nowhere, off the grid.”
“I’m all for that,” I say. “But in the meantime, we need to go tell the story of how Mason got injured, okay?”
* * *
Amy arrives a little after ten, and the guys and I are sitting outside on the porch overlooking the ocean, a fire pit blazing, and glasses of wine in our hands. I went to Trader Joe’s and got a bunch of goodies so Am
y wouldn’t be deprived, and I’ve put together a cheese plate, have all sorts of yummy chocolates in the kitchen and got her favorite Prosecco after conferring with Mason.
When she arrives, she hugs her older brother, taking in the fact he’s in a wheelchair, with a bandaged leg, still healing. The rest of the guys have known Amy forever, all being from the same hometown, and she easily catches up with everyone while I get the cheese plate and chocolate to bring out to the patio. When I come out, Mason proudly introduces me.
“And this is our Chloe,” he says, reaching for my hand.
“It’s great to meet you,” I say, smiling.
But Amy isn’t smiling back. I know we’re the same age, and that she is still finishing her last year of college. I figured it would be easy to get to know one another, considering we have that in common, as well as knowing Mason.
“So, you just, like, follow the guys around?” Amy may love her brother and want to be here to help take care of him, but she is not a soft-hearted sweetheart. She is all tight lips and scowls. Her hair is pulled back in a tight ponytail and I wonder if she has ever let her hair down in her life. She looks about as fun as a chainsaw.
I look at Mason, not sure what he’s said to Amy about me, exactly.
“She’s my girlfriend,” Mason says firmly.
“Oh,” Amy says slowly. “Sorry, I didn’t know. I thought you said something about her and Noah going out once when we talked on the phone. I must have been confused.”
The guys and I make eye contact. I knew in my gut having Amy come was a bad idea. So what, now I’m supposed to pretend I’m not with Enzo, Ethan, and Noah? And then when I meet Noah’s family, or Enzo’s, I’m supposed to pretend I don’t love them?
