“Sweet fucking Jesus.” He growled, actually growled like an animal, as his body strained. Striving to keep their orgasms rolling, he rocked into her, the base of his erection grinding into her clit and prolonging the bliss.

Alicia tried to lift her arm so she could touch Daddy’s face, but she didn’t have the energy. She winced when he pulled out of her, twisting away so his body didn’t collapse on top of hers. Immediately missing the contact, she turned toward him, only for his hands to grab her and drag her on top of him.

Oh yeah, that was so much better. Hot, sweaty skin pressed together. Rapid breaths gradually slowing until they synchronized. Snuggling into him, her head beneath his chin, she made soft little sounds of contentment.

Daddy trailed his fingers up and down her back. “I think someone’s satisfied.”

Complete understatement, she thought sleepily, struggling to keep her eyes open. Tonight had been one of the most eye-opening, thrilling, informative nights of her life, and this was the glossy red cherry crowning the evening. “If I die in my sleep later, I’ll have no regrets.” Her lips attempted a smile. “Sorry I made you wait so long, Daddy.”

“I’ve told you before, two weeks isn’t a hardship. I’d have waited years if that’s what it took for you to be comfortable with this degree of intimacy.” He kissed the top of her head, then rested his cheek against it. “I should warn you that wasn’t my best work, Alicia. I’m going to need several more opportunities to practice before I’m satisfied.”

“That wasn’t your best?” she huffed out a breath, her tummy doing excited somersaults. “How many opportunities do you think you’ll need to get it just right?”

“Hmmm. At least twice a day for the next…six months.” A laugh vibrated in his chest. “After that, I might just tie you to the bed and have you whenever the urge strikes.”

Oh boy, Daddy had high expectations. The funny thing was, Lisha knew that whatever he had planned would come to fruition. He was Daddy Atticus, after all, and he made things happen. “We’re never going to leave the bed.”

“Sex isn’t limited to a bed, princess. We have walls, the shower, my desk, the floor…there is an endless list of places I want to try with you.”

Her reply was a soft sigh. “So, we’re going to die having sex?”

  “God willing, princess.”

She kneaded his side with her fingers like a kitten. He was so big, so strong, but when he was sated and relaxed, he made the best pillow. She couldn’t stop herself from falling asleep—the rhythm of his fingers stroking along her skin, his scent warm and fragrant and comforting…not to mention the orgasm…it all came together into a giant soothing blanket covering her from head to toe.

Voice slurred and barely audible, she managed to say four words. “Are you happy, Daddy?”

  She didn’t hear his reply.

  *

  Are you happy, Daddy?

Atticus closed his eyes and replayed those words over and over again.

Alicia still didn’t comprehend how much she meant to him, the impact she had on his life. His happiness was of paramount importance to her, and he understood why—happy people wouldn’t throw her away. Happy people who were pleased with her wouldn’t hurt her. Happy people were safe.

There wasn’t much he could do to dissuade her of preformed notions, not after living with them for so fucking long. Staying with her, loving her, showing her that she was allowed to be a woman with all the thoughts, feelings, and hormones that came with it.

He wasn’t worried. They had time to work on those notions and equalize them. To him, her happiness was all that mattered, so they were on the same page in that respect. Keeping each other entertained and content was something he was looking forward to, along with building a future. He couldn’t think of anyone he’d rather take this journey with than Alicia.

Washington was just around the corner. He was eager for it to arrive, to set Lisha on a path with the greatest rewards. Having faith in Julia’s recommendation for a physical therapist wasn’t the only factor in his belief that his princess would walk again—it was Alicia herself who held the power to turn her life around.

He smiled, enjoying the slight weight of her sprawled over him. It would take some time, but one day, he would feel her legs lift and wrap around him while they made love. He couldn’t wait to guide her through all the positions he loved—doggy style was absolutely at the top of his list—and discover which she found most appealing.

He was betting he could make her crave doggy style for all the best reasons.

Aware of the condom still sheathing his half-erect cock, Att shifted out from beneath her so he could dispose of the rubber and clean himself up. She didn’t move, not even when he used the wet wipes from the cupboard to remove the evidence of their encounter.

A quick check alleviated any fears that he’d hurt her. Her pussy was beautifully reddened and swollen, still glistening with her juices. The sight was delicious, and the Alpha male inside him crowed with pride for his efforts.

He had to remind himself she would be sore, and that she would ignore her body’s discomfort to accommodate him. They were definitely going to have an extended talk about safewords, limits, and personal safety.

They wouldn’t be able to stay in here for the night, which was a shame. He hadn’t booked the room, and with the sexual carnage that was undoubtably going on beyond the door after Anarchy’s threesome ended, there would be Avalon members clamoring for a space to scene.

Making the decision, Atticus dressed and folded Alicia’s clothing into a neat pile before going to the door. Cracking it open, he waited until one of the unattached Doms he knew strolled back along the walkway toward the bar. With a low whistle, Att got his attention. “Hey, do me a favor, Darius?”

The bald Dom stopped mid-step and turned, his hazel eyes widening in surprise. “Look who dragged the cat in. How you doing, Att?”

“Yeah, I’m good. Better than good, actually.”

“Did you catch any of your boys’ action tonight? Fuck, Liam is a dark horse. You get used to him being so laidback and easygoing, right?” Darius laughed, shaking his head in disbelief. “Give that guy some CNC and he knocks it out of the fucking park.”

Liam was one of kind, that was for sure. “He steps up to the plate when needed.”

“Avalon’s gonna need a new bartender after that display—the subs will be falling over themselves to play with him. Lucky bastard.” The Dom wiggled his eyebrows emphatically. “Anyway, you said something about a favor?”

“Just a little one. Could you give these to Connie for me?” Opening the door wider, Att passed through the bundle of clothes.

“Whoa, are you fucking the Domme on the side? Brave man. I wouldn’t want to be the one sneaking Mistress pussy under the nose of her partner, he looks like he could kick the shit out of an Army tank and walk away unscathed.”

And that, Atticus thought in exasperation, was why he didn’t often speak to this guy. Darius was a capable Dom by all accounts, but outside a scene, he resembled a teenage girl trapped in a grown man’s body. “Constance is completely faithful to Thane. There is no fucking of inappropriate pussy going on, I just need her to watch my sub’s clothing so I can clear the room for the next couple.”

“Oh. Sure. That’s a shame. I’d have paid good money to see you and that guy go head to head.” With another eyebrow wiggle, making them look like energetic caterpillars trying to escape over his hairless dome, Darius took the clothes and winked. “I’ll let you get back to your sub. Is she hot?”

Not bothering to answer, Atticus shut the door in his face. The guy usually found a sub willing to overlook the dumb-as-shit façade, but Att wasn’t sure if he would ever find a woman who could live with it twenty-four-seven. But then, there was someone for everyone, or so the saying went.

Returning to the cupboard, he tugged out one of the plush blankets Braun had first bought for Bodie, then purchased in bulk for the subs of Avalon. They were
warm, incredibly soft, and a huge hit with the submissive population. One had even claimed it was like waking from a dream about heaven, drifting down from subspace to find himself in a real-life cloud.

Rico was a fanciful kind of guy, Atticus mused, thinking about the gay sub who didn’t attend Avalon as often as he should. Sweet, eager, willing, and loving his career as a pediatric nurse in the city. If anyone deserved a real-life heavenly cloud, it was that guy.

Att pressed the button on the inside of the cupboard to alert the bar that the room was in need of housekeeping. One of Liam’s bright ideas, actually, so that he knew when to rope in one of the service subs for active duty. There was a roster of three that Att knew of, all of whom found pleasure in serving the club members in any way they could.

He only had a few minutes before someone knocked at the door.

Spreading the blanket over the bed, he brushed his knuckles over Alicia’s cheek, smiling when she nuzzled her face into the sheets. He scooped her up, supporting her head and back, then laid her on the plush material and bundled her up like an oversized baby.

His heart twisted and rolled as he lifted her up, and she instinctively cuddled into him. Even in sleep, she was drawn to him, and he adored her for it. He told her exactly that as he carried her to the door, ensuring every inch of skin was hidden by the blanket before he stepped out into the walkway with her.

He could hear the noise drifting from behind him, attesting to what probably amounted to an orgy in barn two, and headed in the opposite direction. In contrast, the social area was markedly empty, with only a few stragglers left behind.

Connie and Thane were still behind the bar, with the Dom polishing glasses and his Domme pouring two glasses of wine for a sub who appeared to have been thoroughly fucked at some point during the evening.

Jasper and Liam were in the seating pit, Anarchy stretched over them both. Her head and torso was propped against her Master, while her feet were on Liam’s lap being massaged. She had a matching blanket to Alicia’s, and her face was slack and peaceful.

Loki sat beside them, saying something that made Liam crack a smile behind his blond beard.

God, he was going to miss this crazy crew, even if it was just for a few months. Over the years, they’d become his family, the ones who mattered most. Every new addition was a godsend, an extension to the love and character of Avalon’s people, and he was grateful for each of them.

Catching Thane’s eye, Atticus jerked his chin. His friend nodded and stuck up his thumb in acknowledgement.

All that was missing was Braun’s presence, with his sub curled up on his knee.

That time would come again, he had no doubt. Bodie was a born submissive, Avalon was her home, and the inclusion of a baby into the family unit would be the icing on the cake.

It wouldn’t be too long before there were more announcements, Atticus thought as he made his way over to the pit. Commitment ceremonies, weddings, yet more tiny human beings to fuss over and coddle.

In all honesty, he was surprised Anarchy hadn’t already made Jasper’s day. The way those two went at it like rabbits, the pitter patter of tiny feet wouldn’t shock anyone—and it wasn’t as though the news would turn the sadist’s hair any whiter.

“Oh, my God,” Loki drawled in a feminine voice. “Mountain man claimed his girl.”

“Shut up, you idiot.” Carefully, he descended the steps, taking his seat and lifting his eyebrow at his friend. “Have all your subs left you high and dry?”

The idiot laughed. “On the contrary. The performance from these three has sent Avalon into a spiral. Everyone is desperate to fuck, scene or no scene. Everyone who watched is either in barn two or three, and a load of Doms took their subs outside to the maze for chase and capture play. My subs are out there choosing their hiding places.” He gave Atticus a saucy wink. “All three of them.”

“You are such a manwhore,” Liam murmured, digging his thumbs into Archie’s soles, making the sub moan sleepily. “Besides, they’re not yours. You just like to think they are, because they come to you for a quickie.”

“So they don’t want a permanent Dom.” Loki shrugged. “There’s no harm in that, or in me providing services. We all get what we want.”

“Manwhore,” Jasper agreed, kissing the top of Anarchy’s head. “All it takes is one woman, the right woman, and you’ll wonder how your dick found anyone else attractive.”

“Leave the boy alone,” Atticus rumbled with amusement. “He’s young and the subs like stamina.” When the sadist shot him a glare, he smiled. “Of course, they haven’t learned that with age comes stamina and skill. I guess being pounded into a mattress for a couple of hours is all well and good if they get an orgasm every so often, but that doesn’t really compare to being dicked down with multiple orgasms in a short time span.”

“Ouch, burn.” Liam shook his head, glancing at Jasper. “I need to go make sure Connie hasn’t scared my customers witless. I saw her glaring at a sub a while ago who looked like she wanted to cry.”

“Yeah, you go. Thanks for doing this, Liam. I appreciate it, and I know Archie will want to have a word with you when she’s not flying higher than a kite.” Jasper stuck his hand out. “You helped make my kitten’s dreams come true tonight. I owe you one.”

They shook hands, then Liam bent and kissed the tops of Archie’s bare feet. “It was my pleasure. Tell her she was a good girl, and there’s no hard feelings about the groin shot.” He slid along the bench, setting her legs down in his place, then looked at Alicia. “I’m asking this in Braun’s stead, so don’t bite my head off. You took good care of her?”

Atticus didn’t take offence. Liam was Bodie’s best friend, and he’d known Alicia from being children. It was only reasonable that he didn’t rip off the boy’s head. “There were no tears, no panic attacks. She’s perfect in every way, and I treated her as such.”

Eyes narrowing, Liam gave him a single nod. “I wouldn’t expect anything less.”

  Epilogue

  August thirty-first.

Her last day in Phoenix for a while was scorching hot, but that hadn’t deterred Atticus from holding a going-away party. He and the other Masters of Avalon had been busy all afternoon, setting out a couple of benches in the parking lot of the club, while Archie and Connie were preparing food in Braun’s kitchen.

Alicia’s future brother-in-law and her sister weren’t home today, having needed to take an impromptu trip to the hospital nearly eight days ago after Bodie’s cramps hadn’t stopped for a few hours. The doctors had kept her in because of the pregnancy’s difficulties, and Braun’s reports had been worryingly brief.

By Alicia’s calculations, there were only six or seven weeks left of the pregnancy, and from everything she’d heard discussed between her friends, Bodie was damned lucky to have gotten this far carrying a live baby.

She knew Braun’s lack of communication was worrying, especially as he’d told everyone not to come to the hospital. His assurances that there was nothing to worry about hadn’t hit the mark he’d intended.

Connie and Archie were making noises about sneaking in against his wishes.

The guest list for the party was small and intimate, which soothed her anxiety about socializing. In the couple of weeks since Archie’s threesome—and Alicia’s first time with Atticus—Daddy had taken her to Avalon nearly every night it was open.

They’d even advanced from a bed to the spanking bench. It was one of the easiest pieces of equipment to use with her stupid legs. She was learning how to ask for what she wanted, without compromising Daddy’s needs—which he told her was ridiculous because he was committed to fulfilling her desires, in and out of the bedroom.

She really was the luckiest woman.

Within an hour, the barbeque was alight, meat was cooking, and the alcohol had been broken out with a cheer. The benches were loaded with chips and dip, little cocktail sausages that she couldn’t stop sneaking from the plate, a big bowl of salad with the tinie
st tomatoes ever, and a fruit bowl that Daddy kept feeding her from—mandarin segments, peaches, strawberries, blueberries…an endless amount of sweetness she couldn’t stop sucking from his fingers.

“So, we’re here tonight to celebrate the love and commitment of two very special people,” Loki announced, raising his beer bottle as he flipped burgers on the grill.

  “It’s not a wedding, jackass.”

“No one asked you, sadist. Besides, if these two come back from D.C. already hitched, you’re gonna be pissed we didn’t have an informal ceremony. As I was saying,” Loki continued grandly, waving his spatula around, “love and commitment of two very special people…and now I’ve lost my train of thought. Damn you, Jasper.”

“The group thanks me for my ingenuity.” The sadist tugged Archie onto his lap, nipping at her neck. “Are those burgers done yet or did you forget to light the damn barbeque?”

The spatula pointed at him, quivering in mock outrage. “Being albino must affect your sense of smell.” Loki wafted the smoke in his friend’s direction. “Drink your one lonely beer and be patient.”

“I’m not an albino, asshole, and it’s called being the designated driver, so you don’t crash and kill yourself while your drunken ass is busy admiring itself in the mirror like an intoxicated peacock.”

Fascinated by the exchange, Alicia’s eyes darted from one man to the other. No one else seemed concerned by the insults being tossed around—Connie was snickering against Thane’s shoulder.

Lisha’s mouth opened automatically when Daddy presented her a morsel of food, but she had no idea what it was until mandarin juice exploded on her tongue. She chewed slowly, entranced by the two males engaged in what she supposed was a dick-measuring contest.

She was distracted only by the crunch of gravel under a vehicle’s wheels, and noted it was enough to draw everyone’s attention, including the bickering men. A big black truck rolled slowly into the parking lot, similar to Daddy’s, with a double cab.
